Im new to the area, so this was my 1st trip here - it was excellent! Tim was outstanding - personable, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful! In todays society, its sometimes hard to find good customer service. That was NOT the case here. Will be returning for all our future car/truck needs. Thanks Firestone!

This place is the greatest. My car was towed in Friday before the 4th of July. Tim said he had to order a part and do some rewiring. I had no appointment and he made no promises on getting it fixed the same dayBUT HE DID! And i had my car back by 5 pm, ready for the holiday weekend. Tim, Kim and the rest of this Firestone crew are the best!

Came in with a rental car that had a leaky tire.. they said they were backed up and it would be 3 hours but 10 minutes later they came out got the car and had the leak fixed long before the rental car company picked up the phone. We were amazed and thankful for the speedy service and reasonable price.

The Firestone manager Tim at Tinley Park IL is very helpful and very knowledgeable also finished my automobile repair job way ahead time and on a Sunday morning.

I showed up at 5:25 PM for an appointment at 5:30 for an oil change. The woman working the front was very nice. It took around 10 minutes for her to get the enterprise fleet information to be accepted. I didnt leave the store until 7:03 PM. The receipt shows 6:58, but they couldnt find my key. It ended up being in the techs pocket. They didnt tell me this, but I saw them scrambling through the window before the tech realized he still had it. I was there for over 90 minutes for an oil change on a small 1.6 L hybrid vehicle. Ive never had an oil change take close to that long in my life. Someone else walked in at 6:40 PM with a nail in a tire and their vehicle was finished at the same time as mine. I guess its a roll of the dice if theyll respect your time, because I bet the guy with the nail in his tire will give a 5-star review. The girl up front was running around the whole time dealing with customers, answering phones, and pulling cars in and out. Meanwhile, the mechanical and tech staff took their sweet time in the back working on my vehicle. This is a fleet vehicle that will be serviced regularly. I was hoping this shop, being close to home, would be a place I could rely on. Ill take my business elsewhere.

Went to @FirestoneAuto a week ago for an diagnostic. Ended up with cracked lug nuts & one impossible to get off. Here I am with a dead battery and cant even get to my battery. I had to jump my car multiple times to try different shops out & nobody can get the damn tire off!! Thanks @FirestoneAuto NEVER AGAIN!!

Tim the manager helped me out in a pinch. I hit a pothole Saturday night driving in from Michigan and needed to drive back to Michigan on Sunday. I didn’t budget enough time to get to the store before they closed at 5 and he stayed open for me, which saved me from driving back to MI on my spare. Great guys, thank you

Took my car here to fix a flat tire. They patched it up well for $20. The lady, I believe her name was Kim at the front desk, was super knowledgeable about my tires and even gave me a quote for new ones for the future without me having to ask! She was very nice and helpful! Thank you for a great experience. I’ve been to too many places that try to take advantage when a women comes in thinking I don’t know anything about cars! I appreciate the honestly and good quality of service!

I came to this Firestone to get my new wheels and tires mounted, balanced and mounted on my car, I also went for an alignment. Tim was a huge help; he took my car in and did all the things I needed. He was luckily able to transfer my tire pressure monitoring sensors with ease and was able to order new lugs nuts since my old ones would not fit.If you need wheel and tire care, go here and ask for Tim; hes the literal best.

Not being paid to say this- simply the best auto care shop around. Ive had two car emergencies that I went to firestone for. Both times they provide clear information on the issue. They move quick and set clear expectations for ETAs. With the high availability hours and fantastic customer service, they have my business for all My future car services.

Honest service

FABULOUS is all I can say! Unexpected emergency on I-80 resulting in me needing to find help quickly. After finding this Firestone on yelp, I hobbled my car the 4 miles to get help. While they initially told me at least 90 minutes, I was out in less than an hour. On top of it ---- NO CHARGE MAAM. I wish I lived closer because itwould be my only mechanic!

Booked an appointment to help replace a tire plug from a screw i had. Took them an hour to remove and replace the plug with a patch plug combo and re balance the tire and remount it. Satisfied with the service and was $30, which seems fair. Didnt push new tires on me or anything. Id go back.

Went in for nail in tire. Paid for it and told it had been fixed. Hrs later had a blowout on expressway going 80 miles Found out nail was still in tire and had never been fixed. Absolutely not recommend. Horrible mechanics

Before anything, the lady at the front desk is a sweetheart. Other than that, they suggested an alignment because I had to change 2 tires and I accepted. Also asked for the $10 inspection. When I got there, a guy whose name I forgot (he answered the phone 1/2 the times I called) didnt give me any details in the inspection before I asked and didnt attach the inspection paper to the receipt. I left the shop and felt the car pulling to the right. I called to reschedule another alignment next day and same guy said they were busy and had to be next week (as it was my fault that they couldnt do their job correctly) Also a couple of suspicious things that happened but as I have no proof I wont say anything.

Wow this place is great! I had wonderful service from Tim. I will definitely be bringing my car here. He saved me a ton of money on the battery i purchased and the staff had it done in 20 minutes. Which was great since i had 2 young children with me.

These guys are fantastic. That whole team knows what it takes to earn business. I have a fleet of cars, and the team led by Tim always gets the job done when I need it. Highly recommend!

I could not negate the opportunity of sharing my overall poor customer service experience and service performed on my vehicle. The staff is at best mediocre when explaining the issues occurring in my vehicle. At least this would not be of major concern to myself if they had actually performed a proper service on aligning my car. I would strongly recommend that you look to service your car elsewhere, it is incredibly difficult and frustrating at times to find technicians you can trust, but do not start your search here.

I stopped going here about 10 years ago because they recommended unnecessary repairs on multiple occasions.My wife took her van in recently and they gave her the runaround. After taking it for a test drive and inspecting it, they provided a quote for service work. A few hours later a tech called her up telling her she needed double the amount of work done and that she needed two new front tires.Unbeknownst to him, the tires were bought there (under my name) and were still under warranty. When she called him out on it, he tried to backpedal and say she voided the warranty. Long story short, she got two new front tires (after arguing with them for a day), the extra work he claimed was needed was not needed, and they matched their original quote.Unfortunately, the work they quoted did not fix the problem. She took it back and this time they told her something totally different needed to be replaced. Payed to have it done and there are still noises in the suspension.If you know nothing about cars, like being taken advantage of, and overcharged for parts and labor, then this is the place for you!

Fantastic! Got a flat during a road trip, called to ask if we could get it fixed when we got into town (with a camper) and they took care of us quickly and with a great positive attitude while my family had lunch. And totally didnt overcharge us!

I have tried this place 3 separate times, mostly because it is very nearby. First was for tires. That was an easy, mostly painless experience. Second was for wipers that didnt work. They wanted a ridiculous amount of money to replace the wiper motor. I declined. I worked on it myself for a while and found out that the problem was actually grounding, not the motor. The third and last time was to replace coils and spark plugs. Again, they wanted an insane amount of money. I placed a call to the car dealership and they would have done the same work for less than HALF the price. LESS THAN HALF. They did begrudgingly lower the price, though it was still 30-40% more than the dealership.

Great place fast service very professional.

Today was my second visit to this firestone location. My first visit was about a month ago for a wheel alignment and today I came in for a brake inspection. The staff is professional, courteous and they tell you exactly what’s going on with your vehicle. If something’s fine and doesn’t need to be replaced they’re honest about it and if something needs to be addressed or fixed they let you know what it is and explain it and break it down so you know what’s going on with your vehicle. I’d recommend this firestone and id definitely return for future vehicle services. Great place!

I decided to go to firestone to get two tires installed on my car and get the car aligned at the Tinley location. After over a five hour wait, I went and received my vehicle only to find that one of the tires was improperly installed backwards. The manager at the Tinley location, Tim gave me huge issues for the problem and refused to do anything about it until I spoke to the area manager Leo. Leo then told me to send pictures of the tires to him so he can order new ones and failed to order the right size even though I specified the exact size. Leo then went to Mike at the Orland location to have them fix the tires Tinley improperly installed. When I went to the Orland location they wound up installing and aligning the tires knowing they were too big of tires for my vehicle (note both times each shop could have and should have noticed a problem when aligning it) and they proceeded to give me the car back. They also tried to charge me $107 to diagnose a check engine light on my car when on the front door of the building it says they will scan the car for free. I drove it home and in total for 15 miles. The car began to make horrible noises from the rear end where the oversized tires were, along with loss of power and the transmission started to shift hard. (also note my car is all wheel drive and in the owners manual it says explicitly that having two different size tires on the car can cause catastrophic mechanical failure to the all wheel drive system, brakes and transmission) I called the manager Mike at the Orland location and he then told me to not drive the car not because of damage to the car itself but because they wanted to be able to return their tires. After THREE times going to firestone they finally put the right size tires on the car. I would not recommend going to firestone for any type of service. Their business model is priced right done right and on time. They failed to do all three of these at both locations in Orland Park and Tinley Park. All their excuse was to me at the end of the day was that the guy working on my car must have been his first day. Completely unprofessional and completely ridiculous that a company known for their tires can fail to install tires properly at two different locations two different times and still not take fault for their actions. If I could give this company a 0/5 I would.

These guys seem a lot better than the nearest sister facility (Orland Park). I checked on prices and they are willing to work with you on pricing. Kudos to Miguel (no longer there) and Victoria, who is mostly up in front. I do not believe if she is the manger but is definately manner material - just need to brush up a little in skills, which they ought to train her for. The facility itself can use some upgrading in customer support: they have wifi but no work stations nor a proper coffee kitchenette,as other do.

The team at this Firestone went above and beyond to take care of my sons car. They were genuine in all actions as well as concerned that he know exactly what was wrong and how it was fixed. Tires are grate customer service is terrible I had bought tires what white lettering and they put them in the inside so you cannot see the white lettering I asked them if they could fix it they said theyll charge me $100 for them to fix their mistake

I received excellent service at this Firestone in Tinley Park. I was able to get my brakes checked and two new tires. I like the way he paid attention to the customer needs.

They are a RIP OFF! This was the 3rd time they ripped me off. My daughter also went there and they lied to her. I went on U TUBE and I fixed her car. If they cant charge you hundreds of dollars, they really dont want to work on your car.

They made a leak worse so I’d come back. They didn’t know I already knew where it was coming from and why. I spent two grand on new pads rotors calipers and 4 new tires, when they said I needed an alignment I asked if they’d waive the charge which was 5% of my whole bill. A woman gave me a lot of attitude and said no at first then ended up okaying it. Drove home, on the way home I noticed the break pedal had to go past half way down before vehicle stopped. Still spongy. Went down a side street to test alignment, drove not even 20 feet and vehicle pulled hard right. Obviously no alignment was done. Called back told them it still wasn’t right they had me bring it back to check everything out, when they said it was done I checked everything out, drove home, same thing. I said forget it and learned my lesson. Kim is nice. Other lady needs attitude check.UPDATENow I’m extremely upset. After I had De Re do my alignment which they confirmed was never touched, everything seemed okay till my check engine light went off for the same code I had firestone fix in the first place. They kept my truck for an extra day or so to get a fuel neck hose specially ordered and said that was the reason for the code to flash. Tell me, why is this code on when you said you fixed the problem? I took my truck to Orielys to get scanned and there it is the same code for the very same problem this place said they fixed. Unbelievable. I also sent my information to be contacted, no response. Not surprised. When I said make this truck safe enough for a teenager to learn to drive with they definitely took advantage and thought I’d pour Every dollar I could. scams.

Had an appointment for 9am to do a wheel alignment the car was supposed to be ready by 11. When I got there they havent even touched on it. And when I got the car(bmw) back at 11:45, the front door panel was covered in grease. Never going back there!!!
