I know I have reviewed this before. I come here as much as I can for my oil changes. Everyone is great here and I dont like going anywhere else.

Very professional very honest hard-working guys work there they will do the best they can to get to get your car running I came in there to get a alternator for my Infinity at first I didnt know what it was exactly but they took care of my car and I really appreciate them and their honesty and their hard work and dedication they do 2 keep people on the road to make it to their jobs and take their family to doctors appointments Etc if I could I would give them 10 Stars

A Boy Scout does a good turn daily and AAA Tire & Auto Service did their good turn when they fixed a tire for a Boy Scout troop from Iowa on their to Cedar Point and didnt charge them. Got them right in and in their way!! Great service!

Great staff and work nicely with my truck to do the break line took away stars because I brought my truck back here to have my heater core, timing belt and ac repaired took it in Wednesday and when I called to see if it was done Friday like I was told it would be I was Informed that the heater core hasn’t been done yet that it would be down yesterday so I called and then was told that my timing belt hasn’t been replaced yet nor has my heater core but I’m being charged $1,282.08 and it pretty much just sitting there don’t make a promise you can’t keep this is ridiculous

The service was somewhat okay, but they didnt try to give up adequate car service for the vehicle we had towed there. Im a AAA member for 5 years now and I wouldve thought they would help give their members more help when it comes to getting the necessary parts for a vehicle that needs to be serviced threw them. But it didnt happen so I had to take the vehicle that need service to another auto repair shop that is an expert in that particular vehicle. They need to treat their customer weather an AAA member or not with better customer service and help.

I had my car towed to the Jackman shop for new brake lines. They were honest with me that there was too much rust on the undercarriage and they would not warrant any work done. I was able to leave my car with them until I could make arrangements to have it towed to a junkyard. They never charged me a penny. I would definitely go back.

I have gone to Smittys for 20 plus years. The last couple years the service has lacked. Since they became AAA, the service has been horrible. I was charged for an oil change with premium oil, after 1,000 miles another reputable garage in town said the oil was in really bad shape. The charges me for a front pinion seal and either didnt put it on properly or didnt do it. Lastly I came in with my engine light on and they said it was an expired code and cleared it out. Turned out I had 2 bad oxygen sensors. This will be reported to the BBB. I will never come back.

Was towed there by AAA when car stopped all of a sudden in middle of road late in the afternoon. Diagnosed early next morning with a broken timing belt. Gave estimate to repair that appeared reasonable (but still OUCH!). Obtained parts and began working on it early that day, finishing next late morning. Suggested some other repairs that should be done with the suspension, and gave estimate. Very helpful, knowledgeable, respectful staff, spoke mostly with Ryan. Discounts applied for being an AAA customer (about 10%). Would recommend checking this place out for your automotive needs.

Fair pricing and quick repairs and extremely nice associates.

Our RV was having difficulty accelerating and maintaining speed. We brought it into Smittys, and they were able to diagnose the issue after a few hours (needed a new converter), got the part the next morning, and replaced it right after. All in all took just over 24 hours from start to finish, and our 1989 RV is now running like new again! So happy with their fast and knowledgeable service. If we are ever in the Toledo area and need service we will definitely be back here.

Been to this shop twice for repairs on my my f150, very courteous and reasonable with pricing. Great experience all around. Bought UAW members pizza while picketing today as well. Love seeing local businesses support the working man over corporate greed. Great job Smittys!

Smittys helped us out with wheel bearings going out on an RV. EXCELLENT service, extremely fast turn around. They got us in the same day and ready to go in 24 hours. The gentleman at the counter explained everything throughly so we didnt get hit with an unexpected shock. Highly recommended!

I worked on cars for 23years and they just are not as professional as I was taught

They changed my oil awhile back, i told them they could use the oil i all ready bought, they did and charged full price. this place is not even close to the original smittys. i also purchased new belts from napa to change my self.i told them they could put the belts on but i understood if they didnt want to because i bought them else ware. they said ok well put them on but wont guarantee it. i get it. picked up my car and the belt squealed vary loud. took it to a small independent repair shop. bolts were loose and belt was loose. lazy mech and shop rate of 100 dollars an houre .i epect more then back alley work. youre still paying to much even with your 10 percent AAA discount

Smittys repaired my car in a professional and swift manour. Their technicians were friendly and very helpful. I will be taking all of my mechanical issues to them from now on.

The absolute worst managed company I’ve have ever seen. I do have to say they have some good technicians. Very high prices and mark up on parts is outrageous. I would look elsewhere.

I place a ton of trust in Ed and the guys. When my vehicles need repaired its the place go.Update: Since the change from Smittys to AAA along with Ed retiring l have say that lm dissappointed. I called three times and could not get anyone to answer. I stopped in but had to schedule an oil change a week later. That never would have happened when it was really Smittys.

My daughter had a valve stem pressure sensor replaced on her tire. After getting some estimates from some tire stores including smittys it was going to be around $70. We decided to go with smittys because she had a gift certificate. After they were done it was almost a $100. The old valve stem was made of mettle, but the new one is made of rubber. Not the OEM replacement we were expecting. Also the wheel cover had a small crack on it, now it has a large crack and has been moved to a different tire. When asked about the price difference he said the sensor was $70 by itself. After doing a little research we found we could have gotten 4 valve stem sensors (mettle) for less than they charged for 1. I understand about markups but wow! I feel that they took advantage of a young inexperienced girl. We wouldnt use them again or recommend even with a gift certificate.

Very bad company. Mismanaged, unfriendly, poor service. General Manager couldnt think his way out of a cardboard box, much less provide an ounce of quality service.
