I went to Tuffy because there was something on my car that was rattling. They listened to my concerns and made me feel heard unlike other mechanics in the area. They were able to find the problem area and fix it within a half hour. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them! Thanks for all of your help.

Worst experience I have ever had. I took my car in because the back tire was wobbly. They replaced all the shocks and struts, saying this would fix the problem. I had to take it back twice because they didnt attach the parts correctly. I dropped $1.7k and now the car is in worse shape than before. I am infuriated. Do not recommend.

Dustin is the guy that rebuilt my transmission and did a great job. The team searched for lower cost parts to save me money and they even saved the old parts to show me what they replaced. Transmission jobs are not easy and you want a qualified technician to perform the replacement, so I recommend using the Tuffy location on Central Ave. for your auto repairs. They did quite a bit of work on my car. I needed maintenance work. Also I needed brakes rotars springs shocks. Andrew was such a respectful young man. All of them are. They didnt over charge me because I was a woman as some places do. I asked my brother in law. He said thats a decent price for all that work they did.I took my car home and it still had a shaking in my steering wheel. Andrew had said something about the steering shaft perhaps something was wrong with it. I got a phone call from Dustin the manager who said if I brought it back in and left it over the weekend he would tear it apart and find out exactly what was wrong with it. He did that he found out the problem. They fixed it the price was great. No more shaking. These guys go out of their way to make their customers happy. Very kind awesome customer service. And theyre all about making sure you have a good safe ride. Highly recommend this Tuffy on Central.

I had slow leaks in all four tires. Tuffys crew, led by Andrew, found that all four of my tire valve stems were bad + my wheels were corroded. The problem was quickly fixed at a reasonable cost + Andrew was very courteous and good at communicating the issue. They also gave me a heads up my tires, which dont have high miles but are eight years old and starting to break down. Overall, an excellent experience.

Got an oil change and inspection before leaving town. Came to this location because of the great reviews. Really wanted to avoid going someplace where I could get ripped off. Craig was great, didnt try to suggest services I did not need. (My car is in great shape.) Even though I knew I did not need a additional services, I didnt want the hassle.I would recommend this place. Craig is very helpful and knowledgeable. I mean an auto shop with 5 star reviews, where does that happen?

I was thoroughly impressed when I stopped in their shop. I needed an oil change and my AC fixed, they did both quickly and efficiently. The staff was very nice and did not try to push me to buy something I didnt need like most other car shops do. I went to Tuffy on central ave. in Toledo yesterday and had the oil changed on two vehicles. It was a very positive experience. The workers were very courteous, the lobby was nice and warm and clean with free coffee and hot cider, the restrooms were immaculate. No complaints at all. And they even had History channel playing on the monitor. Excellent. The oil change was $19.99. Very reasonable.

Had a positive experience when getting my catalytic converter and muffler replaced. Gary, the manager, explained everything to me and let me see it as well. I knew what needed to be done before I got there and he didnt try selling me something that I didnt need. Hes an honest mechanic, which you rarely see anymore. Good job Tuffy!

I have had multiple positive experiences with this location. They have work on all our cars (oil changes, new tires, coolant leak detection,etc..) Andrew is a great person to have in the front of the store. He fully understands customer needs and is attentive to his updates while vehicles are serviced

The service was great! Everyone was so friendly and I was in and out of there in no time at all. They give you options but dont try to force anything on you like some other places Ive been. Overall, it was a great experience and I plan to go back.

It was great. Craig was the person I talked to. He was very personable and very helpful. The price they gave me was much much lower than any other place I had contacted. He showed me the part that they had replaced and showed me two things that the previous place I had work done at hadnt done right and fixed the one thing for nothing. It was a very pleasant experience and I have recommended them to my co-workers where I work. I will certainly have my car taken care of at their place of business.

Tuffy on Central Ave. has always been a great place to get my car serviced. The people there are friendly, trustworthy (most important), and make sure you get the best deal. They usually have a stack of coupons on the counter for anyone that forgets. I go out of my way to have Tuffy take care of my car.

Went in there to get a simple tire repair they were too lazy to do it they come up with excuses that your tire its not acceptable for a patch so I took it right next door to Tireman they laughed at them 15 minutes later they patch the tire and all they charged me was $15 Tuffy wanted $45 for a patch plus tax they suck

They were honest and told me I didnt need new brakes when I thought I did. They did recommend some other repairs and gave me their urgency level on each of them. I appreciated that. The only problem that I had was that my car smelled like smoke for the next few days. I would prefer that they dont smoke in or arround my car.

Had a converter I bought installed on my classic car. Said I wanted to keep my old converter and didnt want it damaged, and come get me if any problems. Destroyed my old converter and forgot to tell me the new one didnt fit properly and I had a major leak. Many sections of weld wire were also stuck to the air tube so it looked like a porcupine. Emailed district manager as requested below and provided my email and phone. Have heard nothing.

We were charged twice for a single service at this location. Our experience in getting the refund for the double charges was a headache (required three trips to the location - First trip - we were told the case would be submitted to the financial department and have to come back later; 2nd trip - the person in charge of the issue was absent; and the 3rd trip - the refund was processed, finally! ) and unpleasant (when inquired over the phone on the status of refund a few days later, the person answering the phone was mad after a couple of minutes of conversation. He said he was busy and hung up! It was surprising that their mistake wasted us hours of time on roads to get refund, they could not afford a few minutes on the phone to answer some questions! I did not bother to get to the details when first post this message. But after reading the response, I feel it is necessary to clarify that there was never an issue with the card right or wrong). Will not use this location ever again.

Was recommended by a friend. They had us in, without an appointment, and out in under 2 hours with a new muffler and tail pipe at a tenth of the cost estimate we got from a dealership.

Dont go to tuffy. All the people there that work on your vehicle are untrained back yard mechanics. I know this for a fact. I used to work there. Not only do they mess up 70% of the jobs but they also dont care about their employees. When my health was becoming a problem i asked them for help.giving me health insurance. They refused to give me health insurance. I got so sick that I couldnt go to to work and tuffy fired me.

Well for the first time I was disappointed with my last visit. I had an oil change and when I arrived home there was oil dripping from my car on to the driveway. There has never been any leak before. I believe something was not tightened securely.
