He was very patient and gave us our space while we tried different options, but was right there when we needed, attentive to our questions. He was not pushy as sometimes salespeople can be. I went to Mattress Firm in a pinch/dire emergency situation and needed a mattress ASAP! Dennis was the sleep expert that helped me through the process. He didn’t try and sell me a $3000 mattress or any kind of crazy financing (although I will surely be back in the future for one). This is my second purchase from Mattress Firm in Toms River. I have had an excellent experience both times. Due to the pandemic causing disruptions in production of mattresses, inventory is very fluid. Dennis has been excellent in keeping me informed on stock and delivery estimates. This is the second time this month I went to the Mattress Firm on Rt 37 in Toms River to buy a mattress. Why? They listened to my needs, my budget & helped me find the best mattress for my situation. The first time I bought a mattress was from Salesperson Dennis who is a gem and didn’t hard sell me something I didn’t need and helped me take full advantage of a sale going on. The second time we dealt with Salesperson Jon’le who was wonderful & she gave us a great Veteran’s discount. This is the only store I’d recommend to buy a mattress from these two individuals

We walked into this store looking for a mattress for my girlfriend and I. We were greeted kindly by a gentleman named Dennis who asked us some basic questions like any back pain, shoulder pain ect. then asked about budget. Dennis was able to find us a mattress and base that we both absolutely loved for under our budget.

Went to Mattress Firm last week knowing absolutely nothing about mattresses. Well Johni fixed that instantly. She was very knowledgeableand taught me a lot and also had a lot of patience and explained everything. The best thing was that she did not put any pressure on me to make the sale. Very, very satisfied.

We needed a queen size bed frame for my father-in-law’s new house. From the initial phone call to check stock to the final check out, Joh’ni was the perfect representative. While very pleasant and efficient, she also knew her products so even though I only needed a bed frame this time, I plan to use this store for my future bedding needs.

We eventually selected the firmness and then she recommended 3 manufacturers in different price ranges. We asked and received a written and detailed price for each model and left to do our research on line at home. We selected the mid range offering after looking at all available reviews. We placed our order the same day. The store manager was competent and very patient with us. No sales pressure, just interested in my wife and I getting the most comfortable bed for our needs.

We went into mattress firm Saturday and were very pleasantly greeted by Dennis Grimaldi. Then he showed us a few other options comparable to what we were looking at. Surprisingly enough, after exploring other options, we found the mattress we love. No pressure, no hassle. My husband and I were shopping for a new mattress a few weeks ago and landed in this store. Lucky us because the manager Joh’ni was working. We didnt want to seem over desperate (but we were) and to be honest were not in the mood for a pushy sales person. We were pleasantly surprised at how much we loved this woman. Not only was she patient, juggled us and another couple without either of us noticing, really listened to each of our issues (which are polar opposite) and educated us on the brand of mattress we had done research on and all the different types. She had us timing ourselves on each mattress in different positions, gave us more than enough time to truly try these mattresses out. At one point to prove appoint Joh’ni stuck an egg in a Ziploc bag behind my husband’s neck showing how amazing the mattress supported him. We called her bluff until she slammed the egg (in the bag) to the floor and it broke. Her honesty and knowledge was unreal and we ended up deciding on the middle priced mattress something she actually pointed us to. After spending more than we expected but on what we truly needed and felt was a value considering how much she was able to discount and throw in… our mattress, box spring, adjustable frame, pillows, mattress topper & sheets came the next day (after Joh’ni worked her magic on the phone prior with the warehouse). I cannot recommend this store and this manager more. Best several hours spent shopping ever! On a side note we ended up in Toms River after going to the Mattress Firm Lacey location at opening and waiting 45 minutes outside as no employees had shown up on time. We were agitated but drove the 30 minutes on a Saturday morning in beach traffic (we are locals) to Toms River. See how desperate we were.

He’s such a great guy, he took all of my needs into consideration, he even triple checked for me that I was making the right decision for my back problems he made the entire experience so calming as a person who has extreme anxiety I hate going literally anywhere and I was so panicked when we first got there but then he started talking to us and helping and I calmed right down.
