Ive been going to JCPenneys for many many years. They usually have good buys. Today not so much. I was looking for a pair of boys pajama bottoms and the only ones I found were over $25. I thought that was way too much.

Found nice deluxe walking sketchers on sale with a black pair of Bobs slip on shoes. If I had more time I would have tried on all the boots to find the perfect ones on sale. ...another day

Every Thursday and Sunday they have a sale on sneakers 30 dollars for certain pairs. I got a 65 dollar pair of vans for 30 dollars. A great price for a pair of Vans. Very helpful customer service too. I wear a size 8 1/2 and the sales person went out of his way to help me find my size. I told him there was no need and I would find a different pair, but he insisted on helping me which I greatly appreciate

While there was plenty of merchandise available to purchase, there was the same in lack of employees to either assist or tighty up. Help wanted signs, but no takers. Also noticed 50% off and clearance of popular clothing & accessories. Forget about on line shopping...get in there and get some really great deals!

Friendly staff that went out of their way to walk me to where I need to find the merchandise. And when I had a return one of the articles, it was a no hassle affair. Nice place to shop.

It is a very nice store. Because of Covid I havent been able to spend as much time in it as I used to. Ive been buying on-line and having it delivered there to save on shipping. The Ocean County Mall and its stores have been opening at 11am.

Great selection of mens dress shoes. I found the perfect pair at an excellent price!

My date and I ordered the same dinner. Fish and chips. It was scrumptious and both of us needed doggie bags. Loved the dining experience.yum💋

Been standing on line in JC Penney for close to 35 minutes. There’s been 1 person in front of us. We have close to $500 worth of merchandise in our hands. We’ve walked from the only 2 registers that are open with such a sized store you should have 10x the employees working registers. This is ridiculous. Good way to lose business!

Absolutely APPALLING conditions in womens restroom. Two of four toilets inaccessible. Paper available in only one stall. Toilet paper all over the floor. It STANK. This location has gone to hell in a handbasket. All Penneys are starting to look like The Land That Time Forgot. This was the worst I have seen.

Ok, so I went there to return bedding items. Went to 2nd floor, walked the entire floor and never saw one employee. Walked up to at least 2 registers and both were closed. Went downstairs, same thing. Finally found someone who told me to go to pick up to return my item. The inventory was low and disorderly at best. I guess online is the way to go- except when you have a return. Sad thing is, this was a favorite of mine pre-covid.

Not a very organized or well stocked store. The womens clothing department was horrible. The skirt I was looking for was near the bathing suits and work out clothes. If a sales associate hadnt helped me I would never have found it. And they didnt even have the skirt at all. Was a waste of time and very disappointing.

The sales associates were helpful and knowledgeable. I dont usually shop at Penney. I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the merchandise is impressive for the price. Will shop here again.

Its been quite a while since I have been to this store. I actually thought they went out of business to be honest. Im not sure how they arent losing money. The store was empty of customers and very limited on merchandise. However if you do happen to find something you want to purchase there, good luck finding somebody to ring you up and if you need help at all then forget it.. At least thats what I experienced So I think its safe to say that it will most likely be my last trip to a JCPennys store which was never my place to shop anyways!

Things were nicely set out, not in a jumble, very neat, much neater than other stores. The fitting rooms are closed but when I picked out something to buy I couldnt find a single sales person at the register to ring it up. So I left it, and went home.

So if youre plus size, dont bother going there. Obviously Jc Penney missed the memo about being fair to ALL SHAPES AND SIZES. Mixing in plus with regular sizing, and one rack (not even full of plus size) in each area if youre lucky.. SHAME ON YOU! Will not be returning there ever.

There is a mannequin that my friend and I call our gay best friend He is really nice, highlight of the store. If you guys see him, take pictures with him, please. Also he is single & looking for another mannequin man. Hook him up with someone if you can.

JCPennys associates are very helpful and friendly. I lost my license in the store a week ago, thanks to the associates diligence it is back in my wallet today. I was also happy with the great sales during my visit!

My wife pre ordered for pickup when they notified her it was ready for pickup she immediately went I drove.the store was empty one person in front of my wife.this woman had multiple problems with items.Turns out she was an employee of Penney! since when does an employee take presence over a valued customer.my wife only had a pickup that was ready and had to wait 25 minutes behind a Rude and Ignorant employee.someting needs to be done about the operations of this store.

I had a return of items that I purchased on the internet. The Ladies were so nice and helpful! I wandered around and found the winter coats were on sale. I could not make up my mind so I got 2. The Ladies at the registers were so nice and helpful! What a wonderful experience on a busy holiday weekend!!!

I only gave 3 stars because many of the items I was looking for were not available. It could be due to the fact Christmas was day away. The overall store was nice. It was clean and very organized. Due to the time of season there were many workers available, lines were short and quick and they were very friendly..I did go in the morning but the entire mall and store was filled with people at the time.

Love JCPenney, both shopping at the store and having the convenience of shopping online! Love their jewelry selection, bought a beautiful 3.5k bracelet here not long ago that was very unique! Something I definitely couldnt find amy place else! After months of searching for the perfect bracelet, this is the only store that had it!

I can always find something on sale at JCPenney. On this particular trip I went to pick up an online order. My purchase was ready according to an email that I received. However when I got to the location and give them my phone number I was told that it wasnt available. If I didnt have the order number from the email with me I would have not been able to pick up my order. online in my profile there is all my information my name my telephone number Etc. All that information should link once I login and place my order. I do like the idea that I can take advantage of the free shipping by having it shipped to a local store.

I had to pay my bill, but never received my credit card, so I couldnt do it online. I was helped by an associate within a few minutes and got everything straightened out. I was able to pay my bill and get a statement and my card in the mail within a week or so. Much thanks to the associate in womens clothing ;)

Normally I love going into JCPenneys I dont know whats going on but there was no air circulating in the store today so my shopping experience was not good had to leave could not buy anything just too hot in the store

JCPenney used to be a good mid-range mall store with good prices and a varied selection. But now they are an over priced, limited choice store. VERY disappointed in my visit.

The prices displayed on the racks does not match the price at the cashier.

It looks like they are getting ready to close. They dont have plus size clothing anymore, the sizes only go up to 18 now. The clothes are all put together, not separated by size. Its a mess

JCP has always been a favorite of mine...the associates are friendly and knowledgeable...they have frequent sales on quality merchandise!

Went to Sephora primarily to get bare minerals makeup. Lets face it, it is pricey but you dont really have to buy it as often. Sales lady was very helpful in matching the correct color for my skin tone.

Went shopping for a prom dress and also looked at the smart-watches. It is a Saturday so it was kinda busy in there. Staff was very polite and eager to assist. Had a great shopping experience today at JC Penny with my my fiance, my 2 daughters, my mom, and my 2 grandbabies.

I was really upset that I and a couple other shoppers had to search for a register with a sales person to check us out. I ended up putting some clothes back so I didnt have to wait or search for a salesperson again. Very disappointed with the whole ordeal. I also dont care for the chance in the petite department, hardly any nice clothes in there and its hidden away in the back of the store.

So JC Penney is one of those love hate things. The past few visits have been very good in that Ive found what I was looking for, and at a great price. Thats the love part, the hate is checking out. Too few customer service areas to check out, too few employees Working and big long unhappy lines of people waiting. It seems they just need to open one to two more places to check out and insure there are always at least two employees at each.

Went with my friends and we were just looking around when when a lady came up to us and told us that she was going to follow us around, we were doing nothing and just trying to look at the bathing suits. Really hurt our feeling.

Horrible customer service. Cashier wouldnt accept their own coupon for 40% off total of purchase which they gave me within that hour. Date on coupon was for that day only. However, the cashier did try to keep my coupon stating she gave it back to me until i insisted she didnt because it was on top of her register. She was nice about giving it back to me. Would never shop there again. Waste of time. I did call Corp office and reported it. Corp rep took down report and connected me to store manager who did not answer phone. I left message on her machine. Never received call back from anyone.

Always clean.nice store. Needs more cashiers but so does everyone else. I just got some great Summer shirts.

Since I worked for pennys yeats ago I still have a warm spot for them. But because of the internet you have to wonder when theyll close the doors. Not much excitement. Same old same old. Dont be fifth in line without a beverage or snack. Too many price checks or other assorted problems. Rip
