I bought a 2011 Ford Escape From SG used auto 6 months ago. I paid close to 7000 with taxes and registration for the vehicle. Normally if i buy a used vehicle i expect to have problems with it but not when i pay that much for it. I had a few minor problems with the vehicle in the first month that cost me around 800 dollars. I contacted Sal the person who sold me the vehicle he told me to take it into a shop to get it fixed. I text him back the price. He told me the vehicle had no warranty on it or anything so he would not be paying anything. Honestly if your a reputable car dealership you would expect them to at least offer to pay half. I could have returned the vehicle but the amount of time it would have cost me would not have been worth it. I would have lost time at work which would have cost me more then the repair bill. I have had more problems with the vehicle since then it was not a good buy for me.In response to the dealers reply to my message above.Yes the first time the truck was in the shop it was oxygen sensors and the other things Sal mentioned but the sensors stopped the truck from running it would stall out randomly and i had a hard time getting it started. Within 90 days of having the vehicle more things started to go wrong with the truck. The shocks and struts, the control arm and ball joint. The suspension springs. The stabilizer bar. Total for that bill was 954.00 i will add a picture to show labor costs. My brake pads were also bad i mentioned this to Sal before i bought the truck and he told me he would give me a set of gold brake pads. When i asked him for them he said he couldnt do it because there were so many different sizes he didnt know which ones would fit my truck..(exact words) another 60 dollars out of my pocket just for parts. After i posted the first review he text my phone and told me to take the review down that it was not fair to him. I may not be able to get my money back for the truck but i have my right to review the dealership...Bottom line i bought lemon that looked like a pearl NOT A DIAMOND. I encourage anyone buying a vehicle from SG auto to have it inspected by there own mechanic first.

Financed a cavalier couple months ago great car only problem ive had was a sticky caliper causing the rotor to overheat no big deal cavaliers are known for that problem messaged him and let him know got me a brand new one no questions asked very fair price for the car, was upfront about everything. Honestly was expecting more work to be needed but its been a great car since the day i got it.
