This business had my moms car from June 15 to Sept 5. Her car would randomly not start, so we took it to be diagnosed and fixed. The whole time they had it we had to call if we wanted info. They never called to let us know what was happening. Finally, they said it was fixed and we could pick it up today. We get there to pick it up and suddenly the break line was rusted out. No one called this morning to let us know. The guy working there was completely rude with us . The owner came in and was just as rude and told my mom to drive it out of there WITHOUT BREAKS because he didnt wanna work on it any more. We said we werent driving without breaks it would need to be towed. So he directed us to ANOTHER businesses parking lot across the street to park until we can get it towed. I would not recommend this auto shop to anyone.

Vance and his guys are awesome. Best prices around, and they get the work done fast. Never been pushed into fixing or replacing parts that didnt need it, and never been over charged. I cant say enough good things about Oz!

They fix stuff for a great price. Not sure about the review that said professional. Id say Utilitarian. They have what they need to do the job. No secretary (mechanic answers the phone) and the schedule seems to be only in the head of 1 guy, and no customer area - just walk right into the shop with all the cars being worked on. BUT WHO CARES!? They have done a ton of work for me and an amazing price. Why pay extra to have a nice customer area and free coffee? Ill use OZ forever. P.S. theyve always warned me about how long I have to pick up the car before it gets parked outside at night, so the review complaining about that...they were probably warned.Keep up the good work at OZ!

The guys at Oz truck and auto have done really good work for me and at reasonable prices. Wire to an oxygen sensor on an older model pickup had melted apart and needed to be replaced. Other shops wanted to replace the entire harness and charge an arm and leg to do it. Oz was able to splice in new wire and replaced the sensor with an oe part. Saved me a ton and had it done in a day. Will go back anytime.

I can say with all senserity that OZ Truck & Auto is by far the best independent auto repair shop in Topeka.They are honest, have themost reasonable priced labor in town, they do quality work that they stand behind and will not suggest or do unnecessary work. If they give you a quote, they stick with it. I recommend OZ to all my friends, co-workers and friends and of course I take all my mechanical needs to them. They are by far the most honest, quality shop in Topeka Kansas!

I liked Oz at 1st my car was in and out just fine. My husbands truck however did not make it out so well. Not only was it not fixed it took them a month to tell us that they werent going to fix it, THEN when we go to get it towed out of the shop the battery was missing out of the truck and they say they arent liable. On top of that come to find out that about a month ago a friends husband had his car in there and his stereo and speakers were stolen, same thing, they did noting about it. Not to mention they never answer their phone. I wouldnt use them, unless you dont want your car back for a month and dont care if your stuff gets stolen.

I’ve been using OZ Truck and Auto for three years now, and they continue to earn my business with professional vehicle repair and maintenance. The bottom line for vehicle repair for me comes down to two questions: (1) Was the work done right? and, (2) Was the price reasonable? OZ always nails this getting the repairs done correctly when they say they will, and the price is always right. Rich and Vance are knowledgeable and honest, and they have earned my trust.One more point about OZ that that I really respect is that whenever my wife has taken her car in, they never try to bamboozle her into a bunch of extra stuff she doesn’t need, and they don’t charge her any extra. Some places try to talk women into all kinds of unnecessary repairs or maintenance because they think women might not know about cars. Rich and Vance never pull any of that nonsense, and they take the time to listen to her as well as explain everything that’s going on with her car. It’s the one car shop my wife doesn’t mind going to.

I took my pickup in that I had taken back to another shop 6 times and spent over $1,000 and still had the same issue. Vance diagnosed and repaired my truck the same day and the cost was around $150. The bad part was one of the very parts that the last shop told me they changed and charged me for. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

I had this establishment reccomended to me by a few of my friends and due to the location I was a bit hesitant to trust leaving my vehicle, but I have never had any issues with the services provided. There is a customer friendly environment with honest mechanics that have fixed all my mechanical problems without hesitation. They took serious car concerns and put them in laments terms for me to comprehend. After being mistreated by the automechanic servises provided at Lube Stop off Wannamaker the mechanic assured me that they were trying to scam me into replacing both my front shocks and it was not nessicary. I always request Vance.
