The salesman was helpful but not pushy. He gave me time to decide on my purchases but was still engaged in the process. I was able to get quality furniture that was affordable.

Great place. Lots of variety between pieces of furniture. Youre bound to find what youre looking for. Prices can be a little high, but I dont think its as bad as Furniture mall of Kansas. Sales people know their stuff and arent pushy about anything. Ask for Dan if you go and Im sure you wont be let down.

I came in with a budget and worried about being snagged by a pushy salesman. Thankfully they were so nice! James helped me look through their mattress stock and pick out the perfect mattress. My back feels so much better after sleeping on it for a few weeks. I cant say enough good things about my experience here compared to the other stores in town. And the prices are better than any of the other furniture stores in town.

Ordered online. Transaction went smoothly and I felt was very secure. Staff was helpful when I had a question. I haven’t received my rocker recliner yet.

Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because of the lighting. It was so dark inside it was difficult to get a good idea of some colors. That is on the building/leasing, owner/agent, not necessarily Slumberland.

The store here in Topeka is going out of business. You would think the extreme markdowns would be at least decently priced, but the prices are still almost twice as high as the other 2 competing furniture stores in town that have regular markdown sales going on. Wasnt impressed with their website either that listed the same furniture that they have in the store for cheaper as well. For a store thats closing they sure marked up the furniture a lot just to mark it down to even higher prices than their website.

Purchased 3 very large floor pillows. Our granddaughters love them. Thank you!!

I cant really write a review yet.. We were looking for a new bed plus to check out the adjustable beds.. I really didnt want to pay very much for a new bed. I really didnt know how much a new bed was going to cost and WOW what a big difference in prices from our last bed. We ended up buying and new bed and adjustable base it wont be delivered for 11 days and we purchased a cover so that after 30 days if we dont like the bed then they will replace it at no cost.. So now we just have to wait and see.. So Ill have to rewrite this in 30 days I hope that we made the right decision..

I worked with Tim at Slumberland in Topeka. He was great. Very professional and knowledgeable. I appreciated the way he let me walk around the store by myself without pressure. Then when I needed help or had a question he made himself available immediately. The showroom is smaller than some stores but they had an excellent selection. They offer delivery with purchases if needed. I highly recommend Slumberland and ask for Tim. You wont be disappointed.

Lovveeee the customer service and how they interact with us. Our first time buying furniture straight from store instead of like second-handed and they made our first experience worth it. When we had missing piece for our couches, they gave us better one that works better with our couches. We also was looking for rugs and I was very indecisive which sucks, but they laid it out and we were able to make the decision easier. Will definitely come back.

I purchased a sectional with a gentleman named Dan that was in stock and I got it right away. A few weeks later I decided I wasn’t happy with the sectional and I called and I was just exactly 30 days out from purchase date. So they went ahead and did an exchange for me and let me choose another couch. The new couch won’t be in until June because of Covid delays but they said that I could keep the old one until delivery and then they will exchange it at that time. Dan was fantastic what a guy!

They have really great pieces! The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars was because it took a few minutes before we were greeted. I think someone should always be closer to the door to greet incoming customers. However, once we did see a sales person we were immediately assisted!

Large dining table assembled and in my dining room within 2 hours of entering the store. My wife and I have been looking for the right table set for several months, visited many stores. Slumberland was having a good sale this weekend so we decided to give it a shot. Tim, the store manager, and Daniel were very cordial. We paid less than a third of the listing price. The loader and I gently loaded it into my pickup within 20 minutes, drove it home and had it assembled within the hour. Quality table and quality service.

I am never disappointed shopping here! Staff is always friendly and accommodating.

James Taylor is an excellent salesman. He would allow me to shop without being overbearing. I appreciated him checking on me from time to time to see if I had any questions though. The big thing was the next day when I needed to change my order by no fault but my own. He acted like it was no big deal which meant a lot to me. I will definately recommend him to anyone that is looking to buy.

I was met by the salesperson within 3 minutes of entering the store, and, when I explained that I was searching for a firm sofa with a solid back, and an 18-20” seat height, she immediately went to retrieve a measuring tape.When I found a good match, she explained that there was no fabric selection and that it could take several weeks for delivery. I selected a sofa, and she went to check the status for a delivery estimate. I was very pleasantly surprised, as was she, that my sofa was in stock and available for delivery within a week!I am very satisfied with my experience today and look forward to the delivery of my new sofa on Saturday!

The two men that delivered the furniture showed up when they say they would. They asked exactly where I wanted the furniture. They assembled everything rather fast and properly. They asked me to check it over to insure I had everything I ordered and it was where I wanted it.
