Pretty good store. About what you would expect from a dollar store-type business: a lot of stuff sold for cheap. However, when I came to this location on a Saturday, there was plenty of merchandise in the aisles. Not sure if this was because it happened to be extra busy that particular day or what.

Did not feel safe there as there were signs that ready masks are required but none of the employees were wearing me. They kicked a person out as the manager said that he is not allowed in the store as he was a thief.

Found exactly what I needed and was asked if I need help finding anything, very kind and helpful

I MEAN PEOPLE WERE ACTUALLY LEAVING THAT STORE WITH OUT GETTING A PROMPT FROM GOOGLE ASKING DO YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR HOME ADDRESS TO THAT STORES LOCATION!! BUT WE WILL SEE HOW LONG THAT WILL LAST!! Clean, well-stocked, friendly and courteous staff. We shop here often and its always a stress-free shopping trip.

Since they moved to the new larger location its one of my favorites. The staff are always nice and helpful. Some of the customers are inconsiderate and need to put stuff back where it goes.

People loitering outside, kids asking me for money. I cant find a Dollar General near my home in Topeka where I dont experience this. Ill drive further away than this store on 10th and the store on N. Topeka Ave. Staff inside is always nice. I just dont feel safe outside.

1920 10th st in Topeka ks. Rude employee named Dorothy rude to customer and other emploee, publicly shaming him for his mistakes and for wearing a mask....saying she couldnt hear him with that thing on his face (she was maskless of course). Customer asked if masks required when he entered and was told no. No hand sanitizer. Carts not wiped down or sanitized. Nothing available to sanitize the carts yourself. No extra precautions besides the one cashier wearing a mask. Way to protect the public!

It was a lot cleaner than the last time I was there. Nice surprise!

Convenient store with quick get in and get out.

This is the last time I go to this particular dollar general. It is not organized and some aisles you cant get down because of the stock that is not on the shelves.and the store is dirty.The female cashier is rude and it takes forever to get checked out because she lets customers go back for whatever they forgot which is fine if youre not the only cashier and there arent 5 or 6 people waiting. Just not a good store. i will have to find a different dollar general.

This is the nearest DG to me unfortunately. The store is sloppy just like the customer service. I dont honestly expect anything more but employees should NOT be literally talking on their cells phone while checking customers out.....smh 😑

Absolutely unbelievable- there is a mask mandate in place for the state of KS - I walked in yesterday afternoon to grab a couple of things - every single customer in the store was wearing a mask and every single employee was NOT wearing a mask (or at least the 4 employees I observed running he cash register, stocking shelves and bringing things out of the back inventory room. I am in town visiting my mother who has Stage 4 Cancer and was completely floored to see this - older people in the store were murmuring about weather it was safe for them to be in the store. A friend said that she shops at the Dollar General on 10th & Fairlawn and that they are very strict about masks for customers and staff...which leads me to conclude it must be a management thing...the blatant disregard for the the mask mandate at this store makes me wary of what else they may or may not be doing at this store with regard to safety protocols. The store on 10th & Fairlawn seems like a safer option for the foreseeable future...if you are wondering why I did not immediately walk out of the store upon noticing the “no mask” policy, it is because my mother’s caregiver’s shift was ending soon and I needed a healthcare supply for my mother before returning home - this store was the most convenient option...

I really hope this place is going through some kind of a remodel right now. There were a lot of empty shelves. And when I went to check out, which was a 10-deep line for the whole 10 minutes I was there, there were just random items everywhere around one of the check stands and on the shelves that you look at as youre waiting in line. I can understand being busy during a random rush, but there was a manager (?) that had to be called up front twice in both times did what she needed to do and just left after looking at that line. Sorry, but it was a bad experience.

The dollar general by my house is closed. So I had to go to the one close to my work. They always have what I need. When the other stores dont have what I want I go to this one. But I hope the one by my house opens back up. They might be renovating. Thank you.

I used to like going to the one on 10th Street but over the last 3 months it has gone down the aisles are a mess and nothing is stocked it sits in the aisles and its just dirty looking. Not to mention being asked for money by people who are hanging aroundoutside.just dont feel safe going to this location.

The only thing bad about Dollar General is sometimes they dont have enough cashiers otherwise its an ok place to shop for some items.

Great layout and easy to navigate the isles. Well stocked and especially like the grocery items and cold sections. Checkout needs a little help but not because of years staff they are very nice. The placement of registers causes a blockade if there are more than 3 customers.

Lots of great prices and coupons off the dg app and very convenient place to shop close to home.

Good store. Sometimes they only have one register going and lines can get really long. Since the pandemic started even with the mask mandate they never make their employees wear masks or make sure customers wear them despite having a sign on the door that says otherwise. Get your messaging together if you dont require masks in your establishment make that clear.

Rung my purchases up wrong. Got charged more than was supposed to. Now I have to go back tomorrow.

Its a dollar store..they do have a guy that works there thats kinda off putting tho.Saw him follow a woman around and maybe he knew her or she done something in there before..but when i went to the back to get water i turned and he was in the aisle behind me and followed me to the register..guess people steal cases of water there often

It is very helpful they have a lot of stuff for almost every occasion.i love shopping there they havereasinable prices.but dont bring your kid because their are so many toys to select from all youll be hearing is your kid begging you to get them a toy. They have adorable clothing there to. In conclusion it is an amazing store and I think the people who are reading this should go

They followed me around like I was a theft, and they tried to act like, I didnt see them. I work a full-time job, 7 days a week, I have no reason to steal, my Mom raised me better than that, so No I will not be shopping at this Store anytime soon.

These guys are so much better than earlier this year! Their store is better stocked and it doesnt look like the day after the apocalypse.

Treated horribly here. Another customer got into an altercation with me. Them when I went to check out, the cashier ripped into me and accused me of making a racial slur and threatened to ban me. I didnt make any racial slurs or any comments involving race AT ALL, or anything that could even be construed as such. She wouldnt listen to any of it, and simply again threatened banning. Saying it just isnt fair. I dont think its fair to be accused of something I never did, then simply being decided that I am guilty of it. Apparently somebody simply saying it makes it true. Dont bother banning. I wont be back, if that is the someone is treated, to accuse someone of saying something so horrible.

The store is perpetually slightly dirty, but not too dramatically. The selection is somewhat limited in some areas, but otherwise fairly good.So all in all, its not a bad place- to start with.Then you start getting the damaged products they refuse to handle returns on..Well, okay, thats one thing.Then, theres the rude treatment at check-out or with any other interaction.Well.. okay..Then theres the employee that -ran- up to me to scream at me for something nonsensical, and when I explained that I was disabled in a way related to the topic, the employee mocked that and harassed me for a good while, even after I explained to them that that was what they were doing.Uh.. right.Then theres the contacting of central management, and their complete ignoring of the matter, and refusal to comment on it.Yeah. And with that, Dollar General is added to my business blacklist.

They didnt have the item i went in for but the cashier was friendly with good service. The store seems cram packed with product but not very organized. Thats kind of a given at Dollar General tho from my experience.

This location has a good inventory and is one of the larger stores in the area. The staff are friendly and the store is clean.

Inexpensive but the waiting line too long.

The isle are always blocked with merchadise. Which offers up a nice liability suit against your company. My suggestion would be to have night time stockers or shut down when the truck gets there and every employee be on the clock that day to prevent this hazard.

When I got in line there where at least 20 people in line with one clerk. She finally went and found another person to help. I finally left without buying anything. There were at least 5 that walked out. Several people in line were very upset. Won’t be going back to that store. Place was dirty, unorganized and smelled.

I could spend hours, literal hours, perusing the aisles of a Dollar General store. You dont need a list, an inkling or single desire. What you need will find you before you ever knew that you needed it. The brand names are decently priced, but sales offer deeper discounts yet. Some of the house brands such as Clover Valley rival their cousins with higher market share. If you have a bite of a Clover Valley Coconut Fudge And Caramel Cookie and dont think youre eating a Girl Scout Samoa then youre just not self actualized enough to admit that your world view might be skewed. Perhaps even flipped turned upside down. Id like to take a minute, just sit right there. Soak in what Ive told you about Dollar General.

Digital Coupons are a joke!!! Dont waste your time.... Employee asked if i was signed up for digital coupons... told yes I am! Went on with my transaction and enter my number... First issue the $3 off $15 survey I couldnt use off my phone, it had to be printed off! Ok... Next got my total seem a little high not what i had figured up. FINISH and step to the side and what do you know... the $2 off $10 didnt come off and the employee say there is nothing they can do about the coupons not coming off.... WHY PRESS FOR PEOPLE TO SIGN UP AND ITS NOT GOING TO WORK! SMH
