Service is great and simple as it should be. Not sure the woman’s name, but she normally is the one dealing with customers. She is very sweet and upfront. I’ve taken my car there three times. The product is great. You pick the tint, they put it on well. My only gripe, which is mostly my fault, I wish they’d recommend what they felt would look best for what your getting. They are the pros, I’m just someone who wants my trucks to look good. Again, it’s mostly my fault for not actually putting too much thought into it, I just wished the stopped me from hurting myself by going dark or too light for what I overall was looking for. But I will continue to go there because their quality results speak for themselves. Next time, I will just ask what they think would be best for what I’m looking for.

South Bay tinting is the only place you should take your car for tinting. Honest, knowledgeable, and very professional. You will get what you pay for here. And they even do their warranty registrations online.I made the mistake of taking one of my cars once to another local highly rated place, and came out of there feeling like I had been to a flea market. Price haggling, unprofessional, and Im not even sure I got the product I paid for. Normally the highly rated product I wanted installed comes with a warranty and the customer receives warranty papers. I had to find the warranty online, and have the place provide me with the details of the tint. As far as I know they went in the back and took the numbers off random boxes.You wont have that sort of experience at South Bay. If you want it done right, and you want it done professionally, South Bay is the place to take your car or truck.

I have had 4 of my previous vehicles tinted at other shops. This one has the best product (3m) and customer service!!!! Price may be a little steep but you get what you pay for very professional staff, very knowledgeable and friendly people at the front end and quality products. 10/10 will be any of my vehicles here again.

Dropped off my car on 6-1-18 at 10 am so it could be done by the time I was off work at 4 pm.I show up at the shop, they are still working on my car. I think oh maybe just a few more minutes no big deal, they only had the car most of the day, when I dropped off my car I was the only one there. after waiting 20 minutes a lady comes out and says oh it was really bad tint you had two layers. also says its going to be 20 more minutes. almost 7 hours to remove and apply tint? that is just ridiculous.as I am in the waiting room, I can see my car and I hear it turn on followed by a loud grinding sound . I hear the same grinding sound 3 or 4 more times. the guy with the glasses is in my car grinding the gears over and over again, I got out of my chair and walked over to the garage area and asked him what the hell he was doing? he just looks at me. I am pretty upset at this point, but not losing my cool. a lady walks over to me with a look of I cant believe your upset right now face. being very Patronizing and condescending and tells me he didnt do it on purpose . the guy with the glasses tells me the cover to my shifter came off... Im not sure why that matters and gives me that as an excuse for why he was grinding my gears over and over. he just walks away no sorry no accountability nothing ....... the ladies in the office continue to make light and not care at all about what just happened. at this point I just want to leave, they charged me $160 for something that took almost 7 hours plus abusing my car and not apologizing. I get in my car to leave and the guy with the glasses and the other two workers are just staring me down, I guess they are upset because I stood up for my self and should of just let the guy learn to drive stick in my car, if I would have known he didnt know how to drive stick I would never have left my car with them .... I can only imagine how bad he was grinding my gears when I wasnt there. side note: my car has a rebuilt transmission with less than 1800 miles so there was nothing wrong with my car when I took it to there shop.

Not all that good as the comments make it seem.I wouldnt recommend. There is still a water mark in beetween one window hasnt gone away. Very disappointed for the money I paid.

I would definitely recommend this place. I came to get my tint removed on a busy day with out an appointment and they where able to assist me and had me out in less than 20 minutes. I will definitely come back and get my tints replaced once I fix my ticket.

These guys are great. They took me in right at my schedule appointment and was in and out in an hour. So far i havent had any issues with my front window tints. Greay job!!!

George was able to remove old inferior tinting from my 96 Camry station wagon without damaging the defroster lines. Getting a back window for that wagon are not cheap and hard to find. Then he he put top grade 3M tinting, the car looks really great. He knows tinting.

George is the Mr. Miyagi of tinting! Every car I have owned or leased always makes it way to his shop. Quality tint, backed with a lifetime warranty. Friendly staff. How can you go wrong?For the car enthusiasts/aficionados George doesnt cut the tint right at the rubber seal. He actually takes the time to remove the door panel and cover the ENTIRE glass. Why? Well because you need not worry ever that something will get lodged or stuck in the rubber molding and rip your tint right off. Hence why I come here. I never worry. Drop the car off, Uber to work, and later that day get the call its ready for pickup! ...AMAZING!

I just had my 7th car (George has been tinting my cars for the past 15+ years) tinted at Southbay Tint. I had to drive nearly 40 miles from Orange County to get to him, but it was well worth the trip as the job was flawless as usual. I have also referred dozens of my friends and clients to him over the years with never a complaint. You get a lifetime warranty on the film from the manufacturer (3M window tint film, George only uses the best!) and a lifetime warranty on the install from George. If you are particular (or as in my case, neurotic! LOL!) about the quality of the work performed on your car, this is the only place you should ever have your windows tinted.
