Needed to update our 60 year old front door and wanted to source a new one locally. Dropped into Five Points and spoke to Chris who was able to answer all my questions and find exactly the right door for us. They had samples of everything in the warehouse and I was able to make a decision very quickly and place an order. Chris said it would take to 3 to 4 weeks for the door to come in and that’s all it took. The installer, Johnny, took the time to do absolutely everything right and make sure the door was in perfect working order. Everything was done exactly the way I requested and without error! Highly recommend!
Five Points removed and replaced all of the windows on our Torrance home that was built in 1912. The windows were original to the home, so we were concerned that replacing them might detract from the vintage look of our home. The owner, Chris, assured us that would not be the case and he was right. Five Points did a great job and our new vinyl windows are a major improvement. These guys know what they are doing and I would personally not go anywhere else
I’ve called several times to get an estimate on replacing 54 windows and can never seem to get a call back.
Great door, poor installation. Ordered a screen door to replace existing. I was on extended business travel when they installed and they told my wife it wasnt closing properly because the door frame wasnt square and they couldnt fix that. That was a lie, it doesnt close properly because its about 1/8 to tall and hits the threshold at the bottom when closing. If they had looked at the threshold they could have seen the marks in the paint and corrected. NOTE: This was installed with the previous owner.
We had Milguard patio doors installed by Five Points the summer of 2020. We recently started opening the doors (now that we’re home more during Covid-19) & it’s been warm. We noticed it was difficult to lock one of doors. We called Five Points & had Alex come over at 7 pm to not only check the door but repair it as well. WE LOVE OUR DOORS! It’s 6 months after the install & we are so glad we selected FIVE POINTS! Chris THANKS FOR SENDING ALEX!!!The Aratani’s
New owner! Chris. the new owner is like the old movie Miracle on 34th where Mr Gimbel and Mr Bloomingdale start recommending people shop at each others stores!I have had three window guys to my house and Five Points was the last! He was extremely honest at the risk of losing my business. He told me that my windows did not need to be replaced, only serviced and went on to provide me with the names and numbers of the guys that he had confidence could do it at a very reasonable cost. I agreed that the look of my windows were fine but I struggled to open and CHRIS offered a great solution! When someone has this level of integrity, they deserve HIGH PRAISE!! He also fit me in on a Saturday for the bid because he was booked out for the next week and I wanted to settle in on my bids.I want to mention that apparently the prior owner did not have a good reputation and because of that several contractors I spoke to for other work did the scrunchy face when I mentioned the company but I was willing to try them because Jason at Windor had told me it was a new owner and the old reputation was no longer deserved. I firmly agree! I would absolutely recommend Chris/Five Points to anyone looking for window replacement and will consider them for any needs on windows or doors in the future!! Posting on YELP too because this is well deserved praise!!
Great service staff was friendly and informative. The installation was done in a very timely manner. I was satisfied with the work. Great job.
I requested a bid for a Simpson door from 5 local companies. Three provided bids via email ($3200). Aaron was the only one to personally called me to say that I should not buy that door. He said that he could offer me one that was the same style and quality but at a far cheaper price. He asked me to come to his store to see what he was offering. The door he showed me is made from mahogany with 9 horizontal glass lites but this one would only cost $455, just a little more than 10% of the cost of the Simpson door. This is a place that looks out for the costumer! Needless to say but I bought my door from Aaron at 5 Points.
There was a problem with the installation of my patio door and 5 points just passed the buck to the manufacturer. I did business with 5 points and they just took my money and stepped back, not concerned any longer. Also the installation was not as neat as I expected.
