As a wedding gift to ourselves in 2018, my husband and I got shutters, closet organizers and closet doors. The experience working with Bryan was fantastic. Informative, impressive and easy! The product was such great quality and really elevated our home. We loved it so much, it was a no brainer what our first project would be in our new home that we moved into last year. Can’t wait for the new shutters and closet doors / organizers to arrive!
Interior door and closet company installed some beautiful mirrored closet doors in my home. Matt and his team of installers were very professional and did an amazing job. I love that there is no tracks on the floor and that they are super quiet and glide very smoothly. My next project will be new interior doors. The bright white factory paint really makes my doors pop!! I really should’ve done this years ago! I’m so glad I visited the show room, the selection was incredible! 5 stars!!
Interior Door & Closet made installments at our home several years ago. Recently we have decided to place wood flooring in one of the rooms where the closets are and have found it difficult to remove the doors to fully access the interior of the closet. We reached out to their office and Megan and Glenn were very helpful in providing verbal instructions. Glenn went the extra mile to offer sending a video of how its done, and further offered to send someone out to assist us. Super helpful and super professional. Their work has held up over the years and the doors and closets are still in amazing condition. You wont be disappointed choosing this company.
I called interior door and closet company in search of new doors and closets for my home. After visiting the showroom, not only did I find perfect Shaker style doors to match my home decor but I was also able to get matching closet sliders for a great deal. On the day of the installation, the crew was very kind and respectful of my home and did there work very efficiently. It amazes me how they installed my entire home in a single day with no mess. I can’t believe my wife and I did not decide to do this years ago between the the companies work of expertise and an amazing price.
This is our 3rd project over the past 10 years with Glenn and Interior Door and Closet. The workmanship and quality of the interior doors, mirrored closet doors and closet organizers have been great. The team doing the previous installs was always professional and courteous. Many happy years of use and well worth the investment. I will post pictures after this next install is complete.
A friend of mine had recommended this company as we were doing some remodeling during the Covid pandemic. I could not of been any happier with the outcome. Its rare that a remodeling project goes off without any problems, but this one did. Just as the nice salesman said it would. I ended up replacing 9 doors and 3 sets of closets. Best part about it is everything was painted at their factory perfectly which was important as I did not want a mess in my home. They came out with this computer and measured everything down to a perfect fit. Just like the salesman said everything was installed in a single day. The install crew were very polite and on time. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for doors or closet doors. Thanks for the great job.
Last week my doors were installed and they look fabulous. We had these 50 year old cheap flat doors caped with paint. IDCC measured with their computers and installed everything in just a few hours. The paint looks amazing. Now we have heavy solid doors with closets doors that actually work. I cant say enough about company. If your looking for interior doors this is the place to go. My husband and i had done our homework and shopped around and these guys were by far the best price and quality out there. After we saw the technology they used we were sold. Thank you to all the staff that helped us along the way. Everyone was nice and professional from start to finish.
BRYAN LOERTSCHER- Several years ago I purchased Plantation Shutters for my entire house from Bryan. He was very professional and Ive enjoyed the quality product for the entire time. He also had a couple of bi-fold doors installed for me at the same time. Recently, a worker in my home damaged one of the bi-fold doors. Bryan was very gracious and saw to it that the door was repaired in a timely fashion and at no charge to me. I always have and will continue to recommend this company and Bryan.
I was intrigued by Interior Door & Closet Company’s ability to complete door projects in One Day according to their website. So impressed with this companies’ digital door measuring technology shown online.I was an exterior door & widow installer for more than a decade so I know how difficult it is to get doors to fit well and close properly so we visited their showroom and decided to hire them for our remodel project. We had them install Shaker doors for both the interior doors and closets in our home. Needless to say, they blew my mind in both quality, speed and cost.So impressed that I asked them for a job! LOL. More than 5 stars:) I Love Doors .
Just moved into a new home & it was suggested that we change the doors to make it look more modern. My realtor suggested this company. My husband and I are so happy we did it. The doors look amazing. I like the new style & the crew was fast & clean. I would definitely recommend using them for new doors
I used this company 10 years ago when I first moved into my house. I didn’t replace every single door at that time because of my budget, but now I’m completing the entire house. The doors have really held up well. They still look new and they function perfectly.
Five star service and from Interior Door and Closet. We were looking to replace our doors and are so happy to have found this company. We love our new doors and the above and beyond service. If I could give 10 stars I would. I highly recommend.
Had them replace all of the old, hollow doors on a home we were re-modeling in PVE with solid Shaker doors. They were a pleasure to work with. Always professional, arriving on time, and scheduling was flexible and easy. Was particularly impressed with the high quality of the doors and the finish for the price. Took the money saved and spent it on upgraded hardware, and the doors look simply amazing. We even needed one door changed due to a carpentry mistake on our end, and they replaced it quickly at a very low cost. Will definitely use this company again.
I contacted them because I needed four custom made closet doors. At the beginning everything was fine. A guy came over, took measurements and we set an appointment to finalize my order at their location.I took an entire afternoon off for that appointment. Once I arrived I was told that I should come back together with my husband. They had no time for just me without him. Also, instead of the four closet doors I specifically asked for they wanted to show me and my husband doors for our entire home during a sales pitch. I knew exactly what I wanted and also said so in the very beginning. They disrespected me and my time. I can place orders without a male, and if they wish to see both of us, they could’ve told me over the phone instead of asking for that once I arrived at their facility. I took the business elsewhere.
We had the best experience with Bryan at Interior Door & Closet Co! He designed the perfect closet for our space and we definitely got the most out of it! The scheduler and installers did a great job too! We highly recommend Interior Door & Closet Co.! Make sure to ask for Bryan!
My family has worked with them for 15 years and they always deliver the best quality doors to two of my houses. They are reasonable with their pricing and fast with their service!
Just replaced all of our interior closet doors. So pleased with how they turned out. Visiting the showroom was key to picking out the perfect doors for our home. Once installed they transformed the look of our bedrooms. Exceptional quality and the ease of opening/sliding them is amazing. Great experience from buying to installing!!
When we bought our West Hills home, the only thing my husband hated was all the cheap interior doors. I spent six months researching and pricing replacing the 11 doors, everything from having our contractor do them to various door replacement companies. Kept coming back to what I thought was too good to be true Interior Door & Closet Company (aka onedaydoorsandclosets.com), & their offer of one day installation; quality products; & their buy this get this free offer. Believe me, the whole process was definitely true and definitely good...no, it was GREAT! In addition to the interior doors, we had a weird Pasadena type closet with DIY jerry-rigged doors. They had the best solution to fit our desires and our budget. Consultation & design was a dream (with Glenn, the owner, no less) scheduling was easy (Megan is the best); measurement with Matt was done quickly & with lots of information; & installation with Jude was quick, efficient; clean and wonderful. Defintiely the best experience possible.
Crew was fast efficient. Love our doors.
Crazy how i found them 5 yrs ago in google and they did such an amazing job and customer service that i came Back again and working with them for 2 more new homes. Great service, high quality, and pricing is amazing too. Highly recommended A++++
I recently purchased 10 solid wood interior doors, as well as 2 sliding closet doors from Interior Door & Closet, and had a truly 5-star experience. Glenn Johnson (the legend himself) is a master of his craft, and has built a company that replaces doors in a very disruptive way. It would be impossible for me at this point to use any other company for doors in the future. His entire team is also stellar, and work together seamlessly to ensure every aspect of the door manufacturing, installation, and experience is perfect.
An excellent service from start to finish. Quotation and measurement were extremely easy and costs were laid out clearly and explained in full. Installation was stress-free and the end result is extremely premium. The shutters have definitely added style (and value) to our home. We just ordered another 6 shutters.
We love the Interior Door Co. First we used them to replace all of the interior doors in our home. The price was reasonable and the result was beautiful. Next, they redid our closet doors with equally great results. Finally, they put in a closet organizer in one of our bedrooms. It was amazing how much storage it added. This company is courteous, efficient and extremely professional. We wouldnt consider using anyone else for these products and services.
I cant say enough good things about this company! First, the product itself - very high quality and they have a patented system for the entire process that is the most efficient and effective system Ive ever seen for any type of home renovation. My doors are spectacular! Then, theres the competency and personality of the staff - stellar! And, finally, owner Glenn is a master at listening to his customers. When I had a concern, Glenn listened carefully and fixed it like that. Cant say enough good things about my experience with Interior Door and Closet Company. They rock!
Our experience with Interior Door and Closet Company was positive from start to finish. We visited the showroom in Torrance to see firsthand the merchandise they have to offer. At that time, we set up an appointment to meet with the sales representative, Jeff, and everything went smoothly from then on out. Additionally, we met with another representative from the company regarding Shutters and Blinds. As a result, we wound-up ordering several doors, as well as window treatments. Every step of the way we were advised by Interior Door and Closet Company as to the time frame, and what to expect within that time frame. This week Interior Door and Closet Company sent a professional crew to install all our doors and window treatments. The doors included Bi-Fold closet doors, Sliding closet doors, Mirrored closet doors, and Interior doors. Then too, Shutters and Blinds were installed the same day. The crew did an excellent job, and our house looks very nice.Needless to say, we are quite pleased with the quality of products we purchased from Interior Door and Closet Company, as well as the professionalism each representative displayed throughout the process.
I have an old house being totally remodeled with an added walk-in closet. Without delay I decided to hire a professional. I did contact the top rated two in South Bay: Closet Solutions and Interior Door & Closet. Both were responsive but quite different in details. Each came for measure and an estimate and a few days later returned with a closet design file. If I liked it they were supposed to quote but first I saw the difference of PDF (two dimension design) from one and 3D design from another. What affected my final decision was combination of the open 3D design instantly reflecting my ideas and quality materials Glenn showed me in his Torrance factory.Glenn said three guys would come out in about six weeks to install when the materials are ready. They actually came in four weeks with a notice call in advance and three of them worked over four hours from 8:00 am and refined our walk-in closet, and two reach-in closets for little daughters. My wife love it! My daughters are ecstatic! I like the strong, solid shelf structure!Overall, the price was reasonable considering the design, quality materials and labor. The reason I invested extra on the closet instead of doing myself using stuff from the Home Depot is my family use it more frequently than any and a little bit of added design and quality gives you comfortable satisfaction for long. But if it is done against your satisfaction you will suffer long, I guess. Material matters as well as the design in closet. So I should say Glenn, his guys, his price, his design and his materials have met my pretty high standard.
We are a repeat customer of Interior Door & Closet. We first bought doors from them 6 years ago. We were impressed with the technology they used to measure all the door frames and the one day installation. The doors have held up very well. Now we need to change doors at another property and we immediately decided to call Interior Door & Closet. The owner Glenn came over at 8:30am on Saturday to give us a quote. He arrived on time, thanked us for our repeat business and was very efficient in giving us a quote and explaining the improvements in the companys technology and suppliers since the last time we worked with them. This company offers a high quality service and product - a rare find today!
I just wanted to let you know that Steve & I are so happy with our new interior doors! Matt, Jose, & Jerry did an excellent job with installing them. Thank you so much for helping us get through this process of our remodel!
Best value door company in the area! My new doors actually close all the way and dont stick like the old ones because of their digital measuring and cutting process. Still cant believe how quickly they were able to prepare and install the doors and their factory paint looks awesome!
Appreciation from a fellow business owner...We met with Glenn to order new Interior Doors & Closets for our home. We are very impressed with the digital technology IDCC has developed to measure and manufacture interior doors and closets. (This is high precision stuff) Make sure to set aside 1-2 hours for the estimate. Tons of information and considerations to discuss with no sales pressure. We ordered 21 interior and closet doors and a custom master walk in closet. As a business owner I cant afford to take off 7-10 days to babysit a contractor or handyman to cut and paint doors in my driveway. Time is my most precious resource so IDCC delivers big by being able to complete my home in just 4 hours. This alone saves me thousands in work hours better spent on managing my two physical therapy offices.Just to find a company that has the capability to factory finish doors prior to installation is a home-run in my book. Save time and money by calling them. You will be impressed.
My wife and I just started out looking to replace two large sets of floor to ceiling closet doors. I found Interior Door & Closet Company online while researching options. You see tons of window replacement companies, but I was surprised to find not many companies in SoCal that do replacement closet or interior doors. Glenn, the owner, came out to meet with us. He showed us a top hung closet door system which we liked since we are also redoing flooring and dont want a metal track screwed into our new floor. While he was there Glenn also shared some info on replacing our original interior doors - which we were considering doing at a later date. We had toured several homes in our area to get ideas on doors styles and fell in love with the idea of using privacy glass on many of them, they allow light throughout the house and make everything feel modern and open. So working with us and understanding our budget, we ordered 8 privacy glass doors and 13 matching shaker style doors for the rest of the house. IDCC utilizes a computerized measuring system to fit precise door replacements and all 21 doors can be installed in one day. Pretty impressive. We havent had them installed yet, but the buying experience was very positive. 5-STAR first impression!
We recently moved into a new home where the house had been upgraded, but the doors seemed like hollow plastic. Also, the closet interiors were not done yet, and the blinds were broken. We responded to this companys ad, and they said they could cut new doors for us, paint them, and then install them in just one day. Since I had installed a couple of doors in the past, and took half a day for each, this seemed too good to be true. But it was true. These guys brought in a computer measuring device, then cut our new shaker doors on their computer, and then installed them 2 days later. As an engineer, I can say that the fit was perfect, and now I understand how these guys can deliver on their claim to fit new doors throughout the house in just one day. And Ill bet that this process is repeatable for all the houses they install, with the same precision they did my house with. After seeing the doors done so well, we then called them back in for an office system and organizers in all the closets, including converting one bedroom to a big walk-in closet for the extra space. And best of all, they did my garage as well, and now its a real man cave. However, my wife likes it so well, since her laundry area is in the garage, she claims its her woman cave. Well, I guess were both right. Lastly, we called them back again for shutters across the front of the house, and all the bedrooms. What a difference! But the real amazing part is how much money we saved. They even beat a couple bids I had from contractors wanting to cut on the front lawn. Cant beat this computer cutting, which really was appreciated for this new (and large) home we moved into. Thanks to all from Interior Door Company, you guys are great.
I saw their ad in the Best Buy Guide and decided to give them a call, and Im so glad I did! I called and talked to one of the girls up front who set me up with a free estimate, & they sent Glenn out to my house to give me pricing a few days later. He helped me pick out colors & which handles would look best with the rest of my house. I needed 9 doors replaced, from bedroom doors to my sliding closet doors in all 3 rooms. Glenn & I were able to come to an agreement on pricing, which I thought was an awesome deal! A few weeks later, on a Monday, they sent a crew leader named Mike out to measure all the doors & closets. He was very knowledgeable about all the different door types & paint colors, & helped reassure me that they would look great with my existing interior. After he was done measuring he told me that him & his crew would be back later that week to install everything. They came back on a Thursday & installed all my doors & closets in about 4 hours! All the guys were very nice & respectful of my house & my new white carpet!! They even put floor runners down to protect them so that they didnt get dirty & vacuumed up any dust that they made. At the end of the job Mike did a full walk through with me to make sure I was happy with how everything turned out. After all was good, I paid the remaining balance & they left. I couldnt be happier with how my house turned out, its like it got a facelift lol all in all, it was a quick & easy process. Thank you guys for giving my house a makeover, I will definitely be referring everyone to you once they see my doors & how beautiful they turned out!!
I met with a sales representative in the showroom a few days ago. I was pleased with the presentation and the quote, however when I had to call back to the office yesterday to inquire about pricing for the hardware (if there was any additional charge) the phone representative politely took my message and informed me someone would be calling me back shortly. I decided to call this afternoon and spoke with a phone representative and when I indicated I was told the day before someone would return my call, she stated in an afterthought manner, oh, phone calls are returned within 48 hours. I smiled and have decided to go elsewhere for my purchase of closet doors.
The crew was courteous and professional. However if you have a upper scale home do not use this method for installing doors. while the machine makes some measurements it does not make all. the doors will open and close fine. The door will not be flush all the way around and if a door is shut with the light on at night you will see additional issues and know it was not a professional job. Once they have sized these doors they will not fit anywhere else because of course they are altering the door and not shimming the door frame to fit the door. all of this becomes clear but then its too late. gaps between door frame and door are inconsistent and it shows.sorry I bought these.
I do know a couple of things:1. One of the best things home-owners can do to give their home a significant (yet reasonable) facelift up-grade is to replace their outdated interior doors with high quality solid wood doors and new hardware;and 2. If one doesnt chose Interior Doors and Closets to do the job, they just havent done their homework. Our family business was building homes. Ive seen hundred of doors hung and thought I had a pretty good idea how it needed to be done. When I saw ID&Cs method, I realized I was still in the Stone Age. Their propriety computerized technology brought me rushing into the 21st century. Their computer, in literally a moment takes the exact measurements of each existing opening, which are rarely if ever, true or square. The technician did a dozen doorways in less than an hour. The data for each (I went to the shop to watch the process) is downloaded to the cutting machine and the machine analyses the information, picks the right tool and cuts the door precisely to fit each particular opening. The end product is perfectly balanced plus cut to accommodate the existing hardware cut-outs . Each door once cut, then is custom laser painted in a dust free room and allowed to dry before the new hardware is installed. Then the doors are suspended on the truck and delivered to the site ready for installation. The technicians then match the door to the specific opening it was cut for and zap it into place. One could spend 10 times as much for an on the job site custom application, painting and installing new hardware and still not come up with a consistently better result. The ultimate beauty of the ID&C finished doors and their method is that they pass on the saving of their expedited process to the homeowner resulting is a savings of 1/3rd to 50 percent. Outstanding! Would I recommend ID&C? Yes, without reservation.
My son recently replaced all the doors in his house with this company, and I was very impressed with the quality of their doors and their speed installing them. The doors in my home are in fine condition, but my wife has been begging me for years to get new closets for the bedrooms. We hunted around a bit, and wound up choosing IDCC. I gotta say, the new closets in our home are every bit as impressive as the doors in my sons home. The salesman Glenn, who I believe is also the owner of the company, took my wife and I through a computer demo of what our closets would look like, which was a very neat way of letting us know exactly what wed be getting ahead of time.We got the same color finishes -- Coco -- for all the closets, but added a shoe rack for the master closet. My wife is in heaven. While I dont necessarily share in her zeal for home improvement projects, I will say that this is certainly the company to deal with. Honest, courteous, and affordable.
My closet doors were outdated from the 70s. I had Interior Door and Closet remodel my closets. They changed my closet doors and also did the design inside. Not only do I love my new closets, but the staff was very professional. They were polite, clean, and finished the job in a few hours as promised. I would easily refer them.
Superior Installation process for upscale homes.I have a very nice home in Manhattan Beach and was needing new interior doors and closets. After talking to numerous door retailers, contractors, and door installers I came to the conclusion that nobody has a good process for installing fully finished doors into existing homes. Several of them tried to convince me to tear our my doors frames (jambs) and casing, even though my flooring is nearly brand new and would get damaged in the process. All the other companies and contractors described a nearly 2 week process of demolition, installation, which would be done painting in my yard. Then I was referred to Interior Door & Closet Company in Torrance by a close friend. IDCC offers the only no demo, no mess, doors installation process. I was immediately sold on their process. I was given a tour of their factory in Torrance and was very impressed with everything they had to offer. I quickly, realized that I didnt have to go through multiple steps to get my interior doors and closets done. All of these other companies would have made me do the all these steps on my own! (forget it)Step 1: Buy doors and material from a lumber yard or home improvement storeStep 2: Rent a truck or pay someone to deliver the doors and store them in my garage until installationStep 3: Hire a door installer to cut the door in my front yard at approx. 2-3 hours per door or approximately 7 daysStep 4: Hire a painter to uninstall the doors and take them my garage where he would paint them 2-3 daysStep 5: Painter to reinstall the doors after paintingStep 6: Have the installer come back to install the handles and hardwareStep 7: Take off 7-10 days of work to be home during the installation processInterior Door Company saved me All these steps and completed my home in less than one day! They performed the work exactly as described and sold to me. No cutting, sanding, or painting at my home. They were incredibly clean and efficient, absolutely no mess. I ordered a one panel shaker style with beveled sticking because of the simplicity and contemporary design.Their painting process is the most impressive part of their services. Fantastic paint quality and oven cured for durability. The crew was on time, clean and respectful to my home. Thank you very much Interior Door & Closet Company!5 Stars!!--Manhattan Beach, CA.
We had our doors and closet doors done by this company, and we are very happy with their professional service and best of all the quality, since they use some kind of computer to cut the doors, and then paint them at their factory, good job fellas, keep up the good work!
Extremely Happy Customer. Our custom closet was just installed and WOW we cant say enough how pleased we are with Interior Door & Closet Company. After getting several estimates, IDCC surpassed our expectations at each stage in the process. First, the 3D design process was the best part. We could see everything before it was built and was able to choose from multiple design layouts. We love the rounded corner hanging rods. Our big biggest complaint with our old closet was the cluttered corners where we couldnt see sections of clothing. The materials are high quality and all sit in the floor as compared to the hanging designs other companies showed us. Dont let anyone sell you on a hanging system- weak and cheap. The lead installer, Tony, told us he had been doing closets for more than 25 years. His experience and skills were obvious, hes a real pro. The workmanship, fit, and finish are all superb. The price was better than the other companies we met with even though we added much more to our closet with IDCC. Make sure to visit their showroom, its best to see and touch the materials and options. Awesome job!IDCC also did our interior doors last year. So pleased with them too. Awesome!
Starting in 2006, 2010 and 2015, IDCC has been the best value and service in all of Los Angeles for me. There is no competition, because you receive first class service, products and installation. I would give IDCC ten stars if I could. Dairl the owner and his very professional staff, will take the time, to inform and make you feel comfortable, knowing you came to the right place to purchase your beautiful doors and closets.Reid HoshizakiHarbor City Ca
Must read before you do a door project! This company blew my mind! Dont waste your time with any other company or handyman. IDCC replaced all the doors and closets in my home in less than a day. I replaced 18 interior doors, four sets of closet doors, and a barn style mounted door this week. Two different handymen quoted me 4-5 days for installation and 3-4 days to paint the doors in my garage. So, me take over a week off work to make sure they do it right? Uh, no thanks hombre.IDCC puts the cutting, painting and installation process into warp speed. They used digital imaging to precisely measure my door frames, flooring, hinge placement and handle height. My house is a bit old so isnt exactly sqaure. All good. Mike, the measuring tech, measured the whole house in 20 minutes with his measuring device -- pretty cool contraption. Three days later his crew installed everything in less than four hours. Not a spec of saw dust or debris. Thats how I like my home improvement projects: clean, fast, and efficient. Because its all digitally measured, and then painted and cut at their facility, the process is legitimately 80% quicker than it wouldve been with a different service. The paint finish is the best part. I was given a tour of their factory in Torrance when I signed off on the deal. I saw their painting facility and paint ovens -- truly impressive technology. I got the Allabaster finish. Looks great! Even better, they fit great. Nice, quiet click when we close the doors.
