This an interesting store with a European flavor and specialty imported foods. There are some awesome prices amongst the weekly specials.I dont go to Jons for my regular groceries because generally prices arent quite as good as closer stores but the specialty items and specials can pull me in especially when it is on my way back from someplace else that I had to visit.

I’ve been going to Jon’s for quite a long time now. It’s where I buy my cheese either after or before work. Never had an issue until last night where the Hispanic male at the deli refused to service me at 9:30 pm. I had to ask for a manager which was the older lady who is normally a cashier whom I’m thinking is also a shift supervisor. She was even worst because she acted like the employee didn’t do anything wrong. Her response was “well I helped you so everything is fine.” No everything wasn’t fine because not once did you correct him and you made it seem like he’s behavior was fine. No, it was horrible customer service. The customers that goes into that store are the reason you get a paycheck!!! I was so annoyed that I threw away the cheese in their lot.

I love this market. Small, but lots of international items I use. Great quality produce, and weekly specials on fish. I love to buy Shrimp and Tilapia here. They also have a delicious fresh food section with homemade Fish, Chicken, Beef, and an assortment of fresh breads and soups like Lentil.

I LOVE THIS STORE... From the fresh produce to the vast selection of Mediterranean Products and the Smokehouse BBQ as well as the addition of Mediterranean kabobs, etc . Our family was first introduced to Jons Market when purchasing BBQ back when it was smoked in the parking lot. So grateful to have found this gem of a market. Also, the flowers and plants sold at Jons are healthy and beautiful and reasonably priced. In addition to all the great products, their staff is very friendly and always helpful. I will continue to bring them my business.

A few times I ordered food for some events. It was delicious, on time. Personal was very polite and helpful.

I have gone to Jon’s since the day they opened and I love the variety and international foods that it offers ..at the same time I find most of the employees never say hello ( I’m a friendly person ) ask if you need any help .. I literally walked down the international isle the other day at least 5 times looking for something and the assistant manger was working the isle and he never once asked me if I needed help .. I go there no less than twice a week .. there is only one grocer that says hello to me and is a wonderful person, the rest well ..

I have experienced not so nice behavior from employees??but overall the Prices are Alittle bit to high, compared to Walmart?

Found empanadas ready dough very good nice store i was surprised how nice it is.

Went there to pick up some colossal shrimp which was on sale it was a good deal! When I was in the produce department I asked the produce guy a question if he could break off two organic bananas and not have me by six of them. He wasnt very helpful or friendly. He couldnt be bothered with me but he enjoyed his fruits and vegetables!

Busy inside which is good for yall. They were restocking items, place looked clean an staff was very kind. Ill be back an thank yall for being here for us.

One of the best Johns stores in LA area, large, very clean, decent parking, plenty and diverse products, and you can grab and enjoy on the spot a fresh barbeque rack of ribs. They even have Hello Kitty branded drinks.

The prices are good and the customer service is great

Clean and nice supermarket. They have many kind of England tea. Also we can find a lot of Mediterranean food.

If you want Eastern European cheeses, fish and meats this is the place to go. They have hard to find farmers cheese used to make pierogies.

This market has a lot to offer. There deli has so much good choices of cheese, meat, and salads. The star of the show was the smokehouse eatery within the place. I have to say it was one of the best half chickens I have eaten. I recommend comming here to eat first then do your shopping. Definitely comming here again if I am in the area.

I picked up some White shrimp,and some Blue cheese.I love Blue cheese.

The only thing I like about John’s is the deli section, go take a trip over there if you’re trying to have a good barbecue and impress your friends. They have the best pre-marinated everything, my favorite is the black pepper marinade sauce they put on the tri-tips.

They carry all the regular household items you would find at a regular grocery store, plus a huge variety of imported fine foods from around the world. If there is a hard to find ingredient for a recipe you are making, you are likely to find it at JONS.Each department has all the imported food products integrated within each aisle. For example, imported jellies, jams, and preserves will be found by their domestic counterparts like Welch’s. You won’t have to search around in the “international” aisle like most other grocery stores.They have a full-service deli where you can buy sliced meats, cheese, salads, sides, and more. You can even order a sandwich made just how you like it with meats that you might not be able find anywhere else.The Torrance location also has a full-service bakery with freshly made layered cakes, strawberry shortcake, brownies, tiramisu, and even Eastern European desserts.A mainstay for the area is the BBQ counter. It has been part of this building since the last two stores that occupied the space. It has a huge following in the area so JONS decided, not only to keep it up and running, but even added more options for locals to try. They also have Santa Maria-style BBQ available on the weekends (weather permitting), grilled up fresh in the morning. The aroma of BBQ alone will lead you here!

There are very few markets that have special items items at good price. Just wish their wine selection was a little more vast.

The scales are set to estimate weight,but is bit to much off, abouth a pound off, thats not good.

Best grocery ever!!

A lot of their produce is damaged, but at a very good price, like organic Mellon 2 lbs. for a dollar, but then you discover that they wont ripen before they start to rot. They can take 2 weeks before they are ripe enough to eat and parts of the mellon is already rotting. I dont mind because as soon as I see any mold or rot, I open it up cut away the bad parts and eat it. You dont have to eat the whole mellon as long as youre ahead of the rot you get a lot good parts and it ends up being worth the money. And there lots of other produce cheaper than anywhere else. Like organic zucchini for .99, organic celery .69, organic scallions .99, organic bartlett pears .99. Im not saying that theyre always cheaper, but I feel like Its usually worth my trip there.

Very friendly. No wait in lines. Not the yuppy store everyone says it is. Better in some and great in most. Preference is just a choice but I recommend if you think twice.

Its okay. Convenient to stop at on my way home. No self checkout and theres always a line to check out. Its small but better than nothing or going out of my way for just a couple things.

This review is for the restaurant inside, specifically the Persian. The persian food is not authentic at all. Like the chicken koobideh is not supposed to have a ton of coarsely ground black pepper what the heck. Was too much black pepper for me to eat it and just did not taste authentic at all. The rice lacked flavor. But yeah its just not good at all.

I have never seen staff that slow. Ever. Their Deli is a place where time stands still. My advice to the management is to find new people or change the existing workflow otherwise customers will turn away from you.

Items are well placed throughout the store. Store very well maintained. Employees extremely friendly and helpful.

I love this store. Alot imported goods. Great place to come.

Decent grocery store

Made salad for dinner last night. Went to get ingredients here but Produce wasnt fresh :( ended up Caesars salad dressing here and then to Trader Joes for produce. Please fix this so Ii can give you another chance, Jons!

They carry some of my childhood favorites, such as kvass, lavash and pilmeni! The kitchen is also decent (Persian food as well as BBQ).

The largest selection of cheeses and cultured-milk products that I have ever seen in America, and groceries from a wide swath of Eastern Europe, from Lithuania to Bulgaria and Georgia. The in-store BBQ, and the produce department are also first-rate. The cold cuts, breads, and cakes here are not as well-served as at the Alpine Village Grocery, but I live between the two, so this is not a complaint...

Market Grill food is fresh and delicious. The best Smoked Chicken Ive tasted on the West Coast. Prices for food are reasonable for lunch and dinner specials.. Nice clean eating area to dine before or after grocery shopping. Also, has great customer service from staff. One of my favorite places to eat although its inside a supermarket. A must try!!

Jons has so many different groceries from other countries. My favorite deli meats are here. I wouldnt find these items in any regular grocery store. The employees are really helpful & nice.

The hot food counter has seriously good food. Full BBQ menu plus beef and chicken skewers with a wide selection of sides and the prices are very reasonable especially when buying the combo plates. My faves are the Baby Back Ribs, BBQ Chicken, Mild and Spicy Sausages, Hawaiian Chicken skewers, Protein and Beans. Its much better to buy them in the combos rather than a la carte. You get much more value that way...

My first time there. Overall I love it and will continue to shop there. Only complaints: the ad items I went for were hard to find. Never did find a couple items. The deli line was a ridiculous wait time. Need to have more people working there.

Folks! An extra item is more likely added (by accident) on the receipt at the counter. Your guys need to double check the purchased items prior leaving the store. Other than that, they have good deli counter with various cold food and international beer. The hot food stand has a gourmet lamp shank, fresh beef brisket roast and daily baked baguette.

Its the BEST grocery store around for me; they have everything I need and there are minimal lines. Some staff are more pleasant than others but Ill sacrifice being greeted nicely to being able to go in and get out in under 1 hour.

They have a real butcher, exotic produce, foods from around the world, and a full service deli and BBQ restaurant, the smoked tri tip is to die for.Heres the best part, Jon is actually there, answering questions and helping people.Old fashioned market full of surprises.Like going g to a local market in several countries all at once. You will love it.

Jons is rather unique compared to the standard supermarkets. They have an extensive deli section and plenty of eastern european as well as middle eastern products.The prices are reasonable. I often cruise their olive isle just to see what new brands they added.If you are looking dor some good sandwich cold cuts, JONS is a good plave to try.

They have so many things from other parts of the world is a cool place to shop. Their meats are fresh and very reasonable, the produce is great its one of the few places where I can find escarole.

Went on a Saturday at 1045 am. Parking was plenty and easy. Cashier was relaxed, smiling and pleassnt. Found some pastries Ive never had. ArmenianReally good.
