This AT&T Mobility store is a source of excellent service. Aidan was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with my purchase of a new phone. He also looked at our plan and gave us the best price possible. He was happy to answer any questions and also took a phone call from me later in the day. What once was is no longer; this is now a top notch store! The folks that work there deliver the highest level of service with concern for each customer that walks in the store. There is attention to detail; there is respect for human dignity and there is a comprehensive knowledge base about the vast array of services that is available by AT&T to be discussed pending individual needs. It was a genuine pleasure to work with the new manager Anthony and his staff on our varied needs; purchasing new equipment and plan changes. Went in today to upgrade my phone, and expected a long and tedious process, instead we were surprised to have a great experience with Aidan. He was able to get my upgrade processed quickly and took the time to explain all my options. He had a great attitude and did a marvelous job, he even put my screen protector on for me!

I went to see justin a few days ago he was straight to the point with no nonsense. He offered me multiple options and solutions to my issue. I love it he was honest and quoted my plan with my budget in mind. I was over hearing another rep who was a female and you can tell she was clearly up selling other customers and very uneducated about her own business. If you need to come here definitely see justin, justin even told me I didn’t need to write a review but I get compelled to because of how understanding and honest he was. Thanks for the experience.

I recently purchased and thought my original sales person was fantastic. Well that changed quickly. He just handed me the box with no explanation. I didn’t think of of it I was upgrading from the 8.Know for some positive comments. I went back to the store and met with James who showed me how to use the phone etc. I asked him about headphones and the charging port. Which did. Not come with the phone. He was fantastic and I just wanted to pass that along. I love my new mini and James saved the sale. I was told the phone was 700 but was charged 729.Thank you James.FYI. I purchased a charging pad from Apple which is to arrive Feb 2. I just wish I had been better informed. At the cost of 180. It’s only money right? Once again i I can’t tell u how impressed I was with James. I have been w. ith AT&T since 2005 and this exp turned me off. James took a negative and turned it positive. The horrible sales person was Deandre.
Aidan not only helped me set up my phone quickly, but he made sure that I wasn’t being overcharged on my plan. He walked me through all the steps and made sure I was good to go. It was a pleasant experience with a very helpful employee.

Went to store x2 this week and couldn’t be more pleased with the service we received from Eddie on 1/4/21 and Tyler 1/7/21. We had 2 new phones and multiple questions/problems moving from old phones to new ones. Appointments and COVID precautions were outstanding as well as their patience/knowledge/friendliness/professionalism.Our phones and all new accessories were purchased at this store and enjoy doing business here.
Staff transferred my 14 year old prepaid balance from an 8 year old 3G phone to a new 4G phone in about 15 minutes. Ive had the new phone for about a month; it works well, notwithstanding that it was only $35 to purchase. I appreciate the effort they put in for a customer who does not generate a lot of revenue.

I cannot stress enough DO NOT SHOP AT THE TORRINGTON AT&T store! I went into the store back in March to upgrade my iphone 7 to an iphone 12. I worked with a young man whose name I do not know because on the receipt for the transaction everything was rung up under an employee named Veronica. Without my permission a new line was added to my account, my phone number attached to my iphone 7 was transferred to the iphone 12, but, the new number that was created was assigned to the iphone 12, and set as the primary number for the contract without me realizing any of this until my bill came and had been overcharged by $50.00 for not only a new line I did not approve, but, for the lack of credit I was receiving for the iphone 7 I turned in that was not documented anywhere, meaning, the man that helped me just took my iphone 7 and I am not sure what he did with it, but he did not register it onto my account for a credit.I went back into the store twice, once to speak with another worker who had me come back two days later to speak to the store manager who informed me that he could not help me and that I would need to call AT&T. In the past three weeks I have spent over 15 hours on the phone with AT&T, they deleted the line that was added illegally but are now charging me for the iphone 12 in full which they requested I pay several days ago along with several other charges for what was initially $811, but has now been increased as of tonight to over $1,000 due to late fees. They are also refusing to credit me for the iphone 7 I turned in, but, was never recorded and credited to me.I am working with the AT&T fraud department and they are discussing requesting the video from the store to find out who the employee was that I worked with since he rung me up under another employees name, he illegally added a line to my account and he took my iphone 7 for a trade in but never had it added to my account. I realize I will just have to pay off the phone, close out my AT&T account that I have had for over 18 years (and have never missed a payment once on) and go to another carrier, but, I WANT TO LET EVERYONE KNOW NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PARTICULAR STORE, the amount of time and effort that I have had to invest in trying to fix what they have done to me with zero success and now having to be charged for lines I did not approve and late fess for unauthorized and unknown charges, the least I can do is to warn everyone else stay away!

In September, Tyler helped me straighten out a mess with my phone service...upgrades and so on ... walked away with TV, upgraded phone and improved monthly service plan for my 2 lines.4 months later... came back to this location to help family...James this time helped transfer from the competitor across the street...So happy with this location and the helpful team! Highly recommend. (Other stores should make note)

Typically, heading into a phone store to upgrade phones/lines is an experience I prefer to avoid. However, working with James here at the AT&T store in Torrington totally changed my view. James helped my grandmother and I upgrade our 4 year old phones. He was knowledgeable, patient and answered all of our questions. I could not recommend him enough! If youre heading on over to this store be sure to set up an appointment with James, youll be glad you did!

I went up to get a new phone. Tyler was very helpful although I had no idea what he was talking about. He spoke in phone “Jargon” and I had to keep asking him to repeat or reexplain. He seemed very antsy and kept getting up to “stretch his legs”. He told me I could go home and my phone will continue to pair. It didn’t!! Went back an hour later or so later and spoke with Jeff. SOOOO Helpful!! He chatted with my son while he was pairing my phone and explained my new plan so I could understand. He asked me to make sure things were OK before I left. I thought they were, but had to go back again the next day and spoke with Jessica. Again so incredibly helpful and sweet!!

Typical phone store. Service representative helpful. I went in to get replacement phone reset. He did a good job, I lost information that I cannot get back. The phones camera was terrible, compared to my brand new phone. I had to ask for a new replacement phone. I am hoping it will be a better outcome this time.Free replacement with insurance is not free. I was billed $169.00

I bought a brand new phone yesterday and had many problems. I had no storage left although the new phone was a 128G and my old one had 64G. I could not access my Facebook and had no Yahoo inbox! I went to your store and was helped by a rep named D’Andre. He was outstanding! Courteous, patient and helpful. All problems were solved in less than 10 minutes. Great job!

If i could put zero stars i would. i was supposed to be in and out for a quick screen protector change that i have a lifetime warrantee that i got with the phone. the worker then proceeds to take forever and then give me a screen protector that’s too small. also tried to charge me $50 when we don’t have to pay for it. uneducated about the products and not efficient at all.

You get what you pay for. I am a customer of AT&T for about 25 years. Recently I switched carriers after being tempted by low prices. HUGE MISTAKE. It was a nightmare and I literally, was unable to use my phone for calls or texts for two full days. Only wifi. We all know what being without a phone is like, two hours or 2 minutes. Horrible! Two days? Unacceptable.Went to AT&T store, physical store, in my town, none of this calling, being on hold for an hour or requesting a call back, and the company never calls back. I spoke with a real, live human that explained everything in a way I could understand. Switched back to AT&T. Two minutes, phone was up and ready to go.I will never, ever, switch to some other carrier again. I am AT&T for life.

I dont think I have ever been to an AT&T store and walked out feeling like it was a great place to spend time. My expectations arent set high for this store and its met the middling mark, mostly just by being a physical location to pick up a SIM card.The store is always very clean, although the furniture features squeaky rotating stools, and there is easy to access displays of available phones and devices.For some reason, the employees tend to be very disinterested in customers and not very social sales people, or even informative geeks. When you combine the often long wait times, even for appointments, with the often awkward interaction, its a place you want to avoid.Gets the job done, if you cant do business elsewhere.
Pushy sales people more interested in upselling customers than helping them (lookin at you RJ). Waste of time.
