Last week these people basically wanted to charge me almost $900, yes, 9-0-0 US dollars for perscription and frames (no exam, had a script with me). But after my “discount” and the 40% my insurance would have covered the bill was still almost 400. Then I said, what if I just bought the frames then? She said, after a few calculations, “$360.” Like, WHAT?Granted the frames were Prada and listed in their store for 280.00. Went online and found the exact, same frames for 115.00🧐. Of course I walked away. And felt bad for the few elderly people that walked in to shop.I went back today to get the serial number for the frames and found that they were “closed until further notice.”And that someone had thrown a plant into their window, completely shattering it. I was low key shook. Had to get the heck away incase, “drive-by!” I can’t. 🤦🏾♀️
Johanna and the other two ladies(I didn’t get there names) were excellent. Very knowledgable and easy to speak to, which is comforting after a long day of work. Dr. Pong is also very sharp and informative. Hoping everyone is still there when I go back for my next eye exam!

The last time I visited LensCrafters was 2017. I came back today and was seen by Dr. Pong who was very nice and answered all my questions and concerns. I recommend Dr. Pong. She’s very patient and she takes her time and doesn’t rush.
Ann at the East Hanover location was wonderful and helped me order at the Totowa location since the machine was broken and I need the glasses urgently for my daughter. She was able to help me order so by the time I arrived they were ready for pick up. It was very easy and I received a text when they were ready. Prior to this visit Ann had been very helpful to me and my daughter when she first picked out frames.

Fantastic staff. I had an issue at a different Lenscrafters and came to this location which I’ve been to before. Kloud and staff were very helpful and took care of me. Issue was solved and got correct glasses same day. Also the doctors at this location are absolutely wonderful.I made the mistake of going to the Willabrook location and the doctor gave me the wrong prescription. And didn’t even bother to schedule me for a follow up.
I found Johanna to be most helpful in selecting my new glasses. All the staff is always polite and friendly.

I have been purchasing eyewear from LensCrafters for many years. Johanna (Totowa, NJ location) has been my salesperson since I made my first purchase. She is courteous and professional when helping customers, is very knowledgeable about the products LensCrafters has to offer, and assists me in making informed decisions about the add-on options (Eg: protection plan) I may want to consider when purchasing eyewear.
My son needed new glasses after a new prescription so we decided to try a new place. What a night and day difference. Short waits, good prices and a great service. We had to replace lenses and they were done in 1 hour. This is all during COVID times
The Indian sales guy was deliberately unkind and insulting. I grabbed a single package of lens cleaning wet wipe from the pile of lens cleaning supplies on my table while I was waiting for a salesperson to bring the pair of glasses I purchased. As I was about to open the package I heard a a voice thats for sale sir!. Sure enough this guy on the next table staring at me with a blunt face instead of helping his client. The sudden impatient tone in his voice that I found disrespectful and offensive, especially in front of people. I thought they were complimentary supplies for customers, not to mention I just spent $1,200 here. It was a terrible experience and I regret that I was shopping there for many years.I also noticed the frames and lenses on the display were dirty with lots of smudge on them and theres nothing to clean them before for trial. Later I noticed one of my frames had heavy scratches, so I went back to the store. They changed the little molding inserts and when I looked at it later, sure enough it had new scratches on. Overall I am very extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the way I was treated. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

I had a great overall experience at this Totowa location. From the eye exam by the in-house optometrist to the customer service from the LensCrafters employees. The salesperson, Amina, was very professional and personable. Amina made sure I left the store with no doubts or concerns. Definitely recommend anyone to come to this location.

3/7/21- Alyssa was extremely helpful in the store on 46 in Totowa. She helped my husband and I purchase new lenses and frames. She patiently helped us, especially with many technical issues with the computer.3/12/21- Erica was just as helpful and efficient over the phone for assistance when I called to add transitions to my glasses that I forgot to do it person. I would recommend this location to others in the future.
Fantastic experience at Lenscrafters Totowa. As good as America’s Best was bad! Am up fromMD to see Mom who had stroke and after accidentally crushing my good pair of glasses I broke my old ones too. LensCrafters staff was able to get my RX off the good lens on the now broken frames and got me two new pairs of glasses faster that I can type this review. Sitting and visiting with my Mom now and very grateful for the help. Trying to drive home with no glasses at night would not have been fun - or safe! Worst Customer service. Came to this store yesterday with my husband who needed glasses. After his eye exam we entered the glasses area and no one approached us to ask if we needed help even though the store was virtually empty except for around 4 staff members gossiping. Once I yelled out if someone could help, this young man approached us and eventually gave us a tray to place our tried on frames then walked away and not staying to help provide advice.Finally, once we were given a price (btw, $400 charged to the insurance was quite expensive for lenses alone for reading), we were getting near the end. As I turned around, saw a female black staff member staring at me. Once I caught here stares, she changed seats and strategically sat at the desk directly behind me and resumed her staring further, this time with her blonde female colleague. I know the stares were because, my husband and I are an interracial couple and that because people like this to stare like crazy. Once I turned and noticed their uncomfortable stares, the black female staff member started laughing so loud, it was so unprofessional. Btw, the blonde female jumped to the table near the exit for some weird reason as we were leaving and did not even say goodbye. I would not recommend this location due to the lazy and unprofessional staff.
By far one of the best eye glass places I’ve ever been to. Extremely good customer service. They go out if their way to make the customer happy.

This is my favorite Lenscrafters store, and Ive been to a few. Charisma and Erica always provide great customer service and they arent happy until youre happy. Cant wait to see them again!
PK and Erica are extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It’s the reason we come back repeatedly to the LensCrafters in Totowa.
The doctor I saw did not properly wear her mask. It was under her nose the whole time while she was working close to my face. When I was not looking she had her mask fully off. Then after an unsuccessful contact fitting (I did not leave with a contact prescription) the front desk tried to charge me 100 dollars. I specifically asked before coming if I brought my previous contact prescription will I need to do a new contact fitting and was told no. I work in healthcare and was genuinely concerned for the safety of the other staff and patients. Will not be returning for my follow up visit.

Ive been a customer for years. I see different people running the place and I am not receiving the customer care it once had. I chose my original pair of Versace frameless glasses because they were light on my face and nose bridge. I loved my glasses. Unfortunately they fell off while I was moving and they were crushed under a box. And it has been a nightmare having them replaced with my 2-yr warranty. This is the third time I got them back and I know for a fact they didnt even send them out for repair. I will write my story and send to headquarters. I do not appreciate lies or anyone trying to get over on anyone. When I called they hung up on me TWICE!!! MANAGER SITS ATOUND ON HIS PHONE.. I will write a detailed story and post again NEVER AGAIN WILL I DEAL WITH LENSCRAFTERS. THEY NOW OWE ME A PAIR IF CONTACTS THAT WERE WASTED BY WAITING FOR MY GLASSES!!!! Total of 6 weeks. I AM FURIOUS. WHEN GLASSES ARE REPLACED THEY COME IN A CASE BY VERSACE. THIS TIME THEY WERE RETURNED IN A LENSCRAFTERS FELT BACK WITH A DRAWSTRING... PLEASE WHO DO YOU THINK YOURE CONNIVING.
Appointment was at 4. I was taken in just before 4. I got my eye exam done then had to wait over an HOUR just to see Dr. Half the time I couldnt even sit because they only had 2 chairs. Staff was not nice or accommodating. Ill never go back. Im finding a new eye Dr and will be switching.

Here’s the thing I brought Oakley prescription sunglasses from them it was nfl theme Giants so I was happily spending my money 300$ . I was loving the sunglasses until they broke accidentally so I figured like anyone would to go back to them for repair unfortunately they had to turn me away because it was Oakleys instead of LensCrafters they hit me off with an excuse that I didn’t have the extra insurance and that they were Oakleys so I had to ask what if I had the extra insurance what then ? The lady told me it would still not be able to be repaired…. So what’s the point of having insurance or do they sell glasses that they can’t repair it really got to me because I loved the glasses however because of this incident I will now turn potential customers away from them instead I think I’ll try getting lasik next time instead that way I would’ve saved over 150$ Instead of getting the prescription glasses

I PURCHASED A SET OF GLASSES FROM LENSCRAFTERS A FEW MONTHS AGO. A FEW WEEKS AGO I WENT THERE TO GET THEM ADJUSTED.THEY DID NOT EVEN CHECK HOW BIG THEY WERE! THEY HANDED THEM BACK TO ME. THEY DID NOT FIX THEM AT ALL! I TOOK THEM TO PEARLVISION WHO FIXED THEM IMMEDIATELY

Doctor Nicholas is great and the technicians too !! BUT the ladies at the reception had no idea of what they’re doing, They told me i have to pay $170 for my contact lenses, because i know my vision plan i told them to check again when they checked the pay should’ve been $30, they don’t know how to read your insurance plan also they didn’t bother to apologize and just gave me looks like i’m the one who’s wrong!!!!! If i didn’t know my plan i would’ve paid extra $140

It was a great experience hadnt been to Lenscrafters since over 15 yrs ago. Loved all the technology that has been added to to the process. Plus during this pandemic everything was being sanitized constantly. I will keep going back for the care of my eyes. Every year.

I purchased a pair of Dolce & Gabbana glasses complete package which was very expensive. I have over 20 pairs of glasses because I use them as accessories and switch up looks. I pay much more for glasses usually and know how to care for them. Their pair of glasses started peeling (the top coating) within the year. They were red in color and lost all sheen and these flaky white residue kept peeling off. I went to the store with my receipt etc and they claimed I had to do it home because their computer couldn’t do it and kept crashing. I went home and did what they said because it was way in the one year warranty. Sent pictures and copies of receipt - basically it took them closer to 5 months to respond and then my lenses were OUT of warranty / so guess their response? “Your lenses are out of warranty”Since then - it is March 2021and thanks to a wonderful representative at the store - Erica Fuentes the issue was rectified with a new frame order and I am very grateful.
I went in today because my frames broke. Madeline helped me and she was amazing. She took the time to explain all my options and was extremely kind. As a costumer, I’ve never been treated so well before. She made my experience coming in a great one!

Ronald, Julie store Manager, and Krazzma all helped me with picking my glasses and taking the time to explain and cared, about my well-being. These three gave me the white glove treatment! I am a first time glasses wearer with progressives. Ronald explained the difference to me with needing a prescription and a bifocal. (I had no clue) This man was professional, patience, and very knowledgeable. Ronald never made me feel rushed, like I had to make a decision. These three were so kind to me. They take time with you, not very many places do this anymore. Excellent customer service! A very happy customer and will return.

I love Dr. Clifford, shes a great eye doctor. But Ive always been terrified of doing the Glaucoma test, the air puff machine always gets to me and I dont know if Ill conquer my fear of it.Though I havent been there in 3 years so I dont know if this place still uses that machine or does a different kind of Glaucoma Test
The Indian sales man needs to be retained in dealing with members of the public, the entire staff have a lot to be desired....They walked up on me while I was looking for my frame as to say ur not supposed to be here.Jst want my glasses lwill not be returning.Horrible experience.
I was helped by the Store Market Manager, Kervin, who was very helpful. I needed my lenses fixed because of surface scratches and he helped me with many option.for replace/repair. Intermittently he was busy helping many customers at a time, but did not make me wait too long or always mentioned that he needed a moment. I did not mind at all because he was very nice to work with and very attentive.
Horrible Experience. Visited for new frames and lenses as my prescription changed. Left the store with worse vision on my new prescription than old ones. I returned the next day to advise of the situation and was told the error was in-fact on the part of LensCrafters. How could you screw up both my left and right lenses? At-least they are honest and admitted to this HUGE error. Im never coming back!

This is by far the worst, least accommodating practice in all of NJ. Do not give these people your money.They are theives, and con you into appointments and show no flexibility for working people.There are a million other places to go, vote with your dollars and put this place Out of Business.
Make sure you ask them are you in my healthcare network otherwise they will lie to you just to have you take an eye exam. Horrible sales associates, horrible staff and completely incompetent. The Drs. are the only good staff here. Do not come to this lenscrafters as I have been living in town for over 25 years. This is the worst eye doctors office I have ever been to in the area. Stay away and save your money.
