Ive used this business for its tag & title service, travel agency services, and today, for the first time, the automotive services. Ive always had good experiences here, but todays was exceptional. When I called last week to make an appointment, the man who answered the phone, Allen, was extremely helpful, scheduling my oil change and helping me take advantage of a tire promotion I was interested in. He even called back the next day to confirm that the tires I wanted were available and covered by the promotion. When I went in today for my appointment, the store was extremely clean an took every Covid precaution. Tim, who checked me in and out, was friendly, professional, and prompt. Upon arriving home after my happy experience, I noticed a small issue on my ticket. When I called back and spoke to Rich, he too was courteous and helpful. I strongly recommend this business to anyone looking for professional automotive or travel services. Thanks, AAA!

I went in to get my car’s battery replaced and they didn’t have the right wrench because my car battery was in a weird spot, but they spent over an hour tracking down the right one for the job. They could’ve said “we can’t help you, sorry.” but they didn’t. They made it work. Thank you!!!

I was greeted by the staff as I entered the service center. Although I was early for my appointment my car was immediately taken in for service . The oil change and check up was completed in about three quarters of an hour and I was out the door. The staff has taken many extra precautions due to the covid crisis. I was impressed they even disinfected the pen I was to use to sign the service ticket. Ive been dealing with this AAA center for more than 10 years and would not think of going elsewhere

I was so glad to have found that office.Absolutely everyone who helped me was professional, sincere, and up to date with everything I asked about. I felt like they cared about me and my particular problems and concerns. Thats not always found.It was my joy to re-join AAA again. Wasnt even aware my membership had closed. Have visited the AAA Towson location several times and have also used their roadside service. Average customer service, no issues.

These guys are great. I went in there simply looking for some advice on the troubles I was having and they told me everything I needed to know and more. It was a super friendly experience and Id definitely go back!

They were very nice and got us taken care of in a timely manner. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, they might need to find new sources for tires and wheels because their prices on tires and wheels were 25-35% higher than found at NTB down the road and online. Sadly i dont know that we will be able to use them for car care again because of this.

I have honestly never felt more disrespected by a mechanic shop than I did while doing business with AAA Towson. I was told I needed a new starter and that the total job would be $418. When I questioned further the man I was speaking to said that the part alone was costing them $240 and that it was a rebuilt starter. I proceeded to call a couple friends who all said a starter should go for about $80 new. I searched online and confirmed what my buddies had said finding multiple reputable sources with prices below $80 new. I called the mechanic back and made my case. Eventually he admitted that they spent $125 on the rebuilt starter (still 50% higher than it should have been) and marked it up to $240. Almost a 100% markup for doing absolutely nothing. Ridiculous. Additionally, my family has been long term AAA members and supporters. This is not how you treat loyal customers.

Ive been a member for 22 yrs and this was my 1st time using a AAA Car Care Center. My experience was excellent. My vehicle problem was explained to me in a professional manner. I spoke with Rich and Alan. Both answered all my questions with patience. I will definitely return to this location.

I love love love this place! Tim and Criselda were amazing. I got an oil change and the wait wasnt long at all. Plus I got a free gift for seeing if I was eligible for their credit card. Nice and comfortable atmosphere with complimentary water and coffee. Ill be back in a couple months!

Had an alignment and road force balance done on my A4 here. Pretty routine and quick service with a great discount as a member. Only complaint is that the tech didnt think to rotate a slightly bent wheel to the rear without me having to ask.Waiting area is ample, exceptionally clean, has WiFi, complementary beverages, and lets you peer in to the shop.

Called about having tires installed and was quoted a price on the phone. I was assured the price included the whole process of mounting, balancing, disposal, etc.When I showed up to have the work done, the price suddenly doubled. I explained that I was given a certain quote over the phone, and I was told that by the guy in the shop that, I couldnt even buy the wheel weights for that price. At that point, I knew he was lying to me because a box of 25+ wheel weights costs about $5.Im going to give this place another shot because I should be able to take advantage of my AAA membership and maybe it was a misunderstanding by the one guy. Ill update after my second attempt.

This AAA in Towson does not even deserve the one star given. I am a Premier AAA member and have been for some time now.I normally would do business at the White Marsh AAA where I have never had a problem. Their service is superior and that is most likely why they stay booked with appointments.The worst customer service I have ever experienced within a AAA Auto Care center on Sunday, October 21, 2018. The service rep was very short with me, cutting me off when I tried to speak, overcharging me as a Premier member. Nasty, unprofessional toward me and two other customers who called over the phone while I was there. I asked his name and his manager, he gave me both cards like he knew that nothing would happen to him for his behavior.I will be writing a letter to the Manager of the store, the Regional Manager and the Corporate offices.To end withSo, this being the case on several occasions, I booked my last appointments in Towson for both of my vehicles at different times. My son would take one vehicle and I would take the other vehicle at another time. I never compared the pricing, but after my last experience with AAA Towson I decided to do so. Same vehicles, same year, purchased on the same day, pricing different for each vehicle for a mere oil change and tire rotations. No charges are visible at this location. They charge whatever they want to charge the customer.

Im a non-member that had tires balanced. I was not hassled to sign up for membership, and work was done in a timely manner as I waited. The York Road office is tidy with water and hot beverages for customers. More automobile service locations can learn a thing or two from visiting .this location.

I have been twice at this location for oil change and tire replacement. The staff is courteous and. Knowledgeable and they have a nice facility. The free coffee, hot chocolate and water is a nice compliment if the repair is taking long and you are waiting there.

This location was fantastic for getting an Inernational Drivers Permit. Was greeted, picture taken and permit given all under 15 minutes. Super helpful and friendly.

First time i came into a AAA center, the experience was good. A walk in oil and filter change. The service was good, and fast. There was a short wait, about 5 mins then my car was service next. Total about 35 mins. Check on times and busy schedules just in case. Excellent work.

The lines were super long with only one express line open which was wrapped around to the produce department.

Absolutely amazing people. My car was towed there and was allowed to stay there for about a week with no charge while I was scrambling around trying to sort out everything. I highly recommend this location as well as getting a AAA membership.

Would be 5 stars if they could explain the paper work they give to you after car repairs. The people in the front dont know what the mechanics are putting on the paperwork. I wish someone knew a little about cars was available to speak with customers.

I am a AAA member. Their prices are fine and their service is fine, but I was a little shocked at them trying to sell me a service I feel is a rip-off. Dont get me wrong, all the other shops do the same. I just thought AAA was different.

I want to highly recommend this place. I needed to get a new tag and register my car from PA to MD and the agent here was awesome. She worked very hard to deal with some of the strangeness that occurred because of my out of state tags and explained all of the materials. Seeing as most experiences with the MVA are enough to make you want to commit sepukku, being able to get the tags and registration handled here was great.

This location has declined in quality in the last year. I can only review non automotive related issues (tickets, etc). There is one person at the counter to handle tickets and she should have assistance. Supervisors come out lurk around and go back into their hiding places in the back. More than once I find myself in a line of one with no one in front of me and I wait 10+ minutes. When I am assisted the poor clerk has no idea how to log in the computer or knows how to process what I need (movie tickets, theme park tickets, etc). It shouldnt be this difficult.

I got my IDP and photos for the IDP/passport here. Super easy and really professional staff. I left with my IDP in hand, even though their corporate website said it would take a few days.I would recommend them for passport photos, because their price is cheaper than the CVS across the street and their camera is WAY better

I had traveled from NC to Baltimore for a wedding and picked up a nail in my tire somewhere along the way. I needed a repair on a Sunday in order to make it to the wedding and reception. Fortunately the Towson facility was open until 4. I got there after the wedding in Baltimore and they patched my tire within the 45 minutes they had estimated. I made it to the reception nearby, having hardly missed anything. Best of all, the tire was all set for the drive back to my hotel in Baltimore that night and back to NC the next day. Wayne Brown was very accommodating in explaining my options over the phone and fitting me in. I couldnt help but think This is why I have AAA!

The people in the front are insensitive. The lady at the front desk didnt even look up when she spoke to me. The guy that took my info in the front was very pessimistic. Im like dude. I just got two flat tires; a smile wouldve been nice. Too much to ask for apparently. Also, dont believe the hype!!! This place is MAD EXPENSIVE!!!!! And I have a AAA plus membership. On the plus side I did get a 3 year warranty on the car, which will be a selling point when I see this car next month.

Was there on yesterday 5/15/18 at around 11 am. I called prior to coming and asked about someone tightening my battery back in place that had came loose. The person I spoke with on the phone said it shouldnt be a charge for it. I then went in and the guy that was at the desk went outside and looked at it and stated it shouldnt take long and I wouldnt be charged but he had to speak with his assistant manager about how to put a ticket in the computer on it. The assistant manager comes and says she needs to see it for herself. I took her outside and she looks and says the pins are broke and I would need all new parts to include the tray the battery sits on and that might cost me a few hundred dollars. I declined and went somewhere else. The other place I went to stated that the screws on the pins that holds the battery in place had rusted in place and just needed to be sprayed with WD-40 then taken apart then put together again. All that took under 5 mins to happen, I wasnt charged and the battery is firm in place. Nothing was broke. My issue I have with this AAA location is not only was I given bad information that could have costed me hundreds of dollars had I not gone somewhere else, the assistant manager contradicted what the guy that was helping me stated which was it something simple to fix. Im new to having a AAA membership card and if this is the kind of stuff I have to look forward to when visiting a AAA shop, Ill be cancelling my membership..

NEVER TRUST, RIP OFF- don’t trust their verbal quote. They will change once you bill. It’s a rip off. Charged 370+ just for labor charge to replace battery. Will never trust them with my car. I hope the work they did does not give me trouble. They will be very rude when you question the cost.

The travel agent, JP is very unprofessional. The thing would never return phone calls. That’s customer service 10, return your customers call because without them that thing wouldn’t be there. Very unsatisfactory customer experience.I will never do business at that location again.

AAA AUTO REPAIR CHARGES WAY TOO MUCH! I do not trust them. They are not nice and prices for auto repairs are always very high! I have had many things repaired on my car there and Never again! I always feel I’m being ripped off and when you ask questions or complain they are not nice. I just do not trust this place, Towson location is the only one I have been too. Beware!!!
