Very good first experience for me as a first time car buyer. Had an idea or two of what i wanted and had my budget. Went a bit over my budget but only due to Jade Davidson helping me out fall in love with her recommendation of a 2018 Camry. Very friendly staff there seeing how i talked to about 6 representatives, 2 of them actually being the ones to finalize my purchase. Overall happy with my experience there!

I arrived at Tracy Toyota at about 7:00am on Thursday, 08-19-21, for my first appointment with Auto Butler for my new red Toyota Tacoma.I was very curious to see the reapplication process! I walked out to satisfy my curiosity, and I was greeted very cordially by the gentleman in charge of the work! He explained the process in detail to me. I took a couple pictures of the spraying and of him wiping down the haze when the spray was dry. I could not have imagined the process, so I was very pleased to see it happen! But the best part was thrilling! My truck looked like a million bucks, and the finish was as smooth as a baby’s butt!

This is a bad place to buy a car. The floor saleman does not care whether you come in looking to buy or not.I was met with David, and the guy sit in his desk while I was not even invited to sit for the whole conversation. I am taking my business elsewhere.As of this writing they have a $3,999 on top of MSRP.Livermore Toyota, Stockton Toyota, Modesto Toyota does not have any markup. Pick your dealer wisely.I used to bring my car here for Toyota care 2-year free maintenance, not anymore.

I absolutely recommend Tracy Toyota dealership! We had a great experience. Walked in completely frustrated with our old car and drove away in a great car! The sales manager (Zahid) went above and beyond to make our family happy, he set us up with Mo (Mohib Amiry) who was a great salesperson. They took in everything we said and got us in the perfect car for our family while still keeping the payments to what we wanted. Great service helpful informative, Tina and Samantha and the finance guy where amazing with helping in trade in my used car and buying something new and reliable. I would recommend them to anyone. Gave me top dollar for my trade in which helped with the down payment for my new car. Would purchase a car from them again! Worth the drive from San Jose. Also they were the only dealership willing to work with me because my credit is not the best right now. With this purchase it will help me rebuild my credit. Thank you all once again!

We drove down to Tracy from Sacramento with the intention of buying a used car - after seeing the price on a new car we blew our sales associate Casey away and bought the new one. It was fun to work with Casey. The entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable. NO high pressure selling involved which is greatly appreciated. If they have the car we need in the future its definitely worth the drive. I also love the 49er motif.

Got a great deal on 2021 Corolla SE Hatchback. My sales guy Deepak did me right. He was very helpful, thorough and prompt in answering all my questions. My family hasnt owned any other vehicles other than Toyotas since the 80s. This is my 3rd one from Tracy, Toyota.

Had a really rocky start when the vehicle I wanted and had an appointment to test drive was sold before I got there. Kaycee was really kind and apologetic and turned this one star review into a 4 star and an angry person leaving with a complaint into a sale.Edit: was going to make it a four because of the rough start but Kaycee is a good enough employee that he talked me into a 5. Would recommend asking for him.

Went to purchase a new Toyota Camry or Corolla. As quick as I was shown a few options and test drove one Corolla, I was dismissed by the salesman. Was also interested in test driving a Camry I am sure I would have liked and bought, but he was too quick to say ‘thanks for coming in. Have a good day’, the moment we got out of the Corolla. Days prior we purchased a Tacoma from Toyota in Stockton. So much better salesmen there that I will keep my business with.

UPDATE:Brian, the service manager, has taken care of the issues described below and made right the situation. While there was a rocky start I am being taken care of well at this point.Original Review (1*):TLDR; I got charged for a part replacement I didnt need, a diagnostic procedure that should have happened the first time they looked at the car, then got promised a diagnostic fee credit for having to take my car in to them the *second* time that same day (didnt even leave the parking lot) that was never delivered when I decided not to go with their repair that was more than double the cost of competition. $430 down the drain and I still have the issue I checked in with.I booked an appointment for this morning saying I have a high-pitched whine every time the engine starts and when I accelerate it increases in pitch and intensity. It seems to me that its probably the serpentine belt.They change the serpentine belt, call it fixed, and charge me $250. I start the engine and *immediately* notice the high-pitched whine. Obviously, its not fixed. I walk back in and the service rep tells me Well, the guy that told you it was the serpentine belt was wrong. But hey, you needed it replaced anyway.No, doh - its not the serpentine belt if it still has the issue.He continued: Normally there would be a $170 diagnostic charge but since you just came in with the car Ill see if I can credit that to you.Fine, I thought, at least theyll probably correct it free of charge.However, a few hours later they call me back quoting me almost $1,000 for an alternator replacement, after parts+labor+tax. A quick call to a well-rated local mechanic places it at about $400 + tax, less than half.I go back to the dealership to pick up my car, and say I might be able to do the repair at a later date but am unable to do so today as its a lot of money. I mention to the cashier that since I came in with the car earlier that my service rep mentioned hed credit me the diagnostic fee.After some discussion behind the scene, I am still charged the $170 fee - though if I were to go with their outlandishly overpriced alternator replacement the fee would be credited back to the cost of repair. No dice.$430 down the drain and I do not have the issue I went in with fixed. Roughly $800 more to replace the alternator through the dealership, assuming that the $170 diagnostic fee is credited if I were to get it done through the dealership.

First of all let me say, the best car-buying experience ever. I had been trying to find this model Camry all over the Bay Area. I inquired online and Samantha responded back quickly to my request. Over the phone we set up the deal and she pre did all the paperwork. I showed up to the dealership and Samantha again was extremely helpful. Covid-19 and “chip” shortages have made this a very stressful time to buy a new car. When my wife was involved in a terrible accident back in January 2021, her 2012 Camry Hybrid saved her life. We immediately knew we wanted another Toyota and decided on a 2021 RAV4 Prime. We looked for seven months with no success. I finally decided to expand my search further out to include Tracy Toyota. Within an hour we finalized a deal over the phone thanks to our Sales Consultant Deepak Bhardwaj. When we drove the 30 miles to the dealership that same day to do the paperwork Tina and Ed made things happen quickly and “without a hitch”. We had to wait nine days for our beautiful new RAV4 as it was transit from Japan. When it was time to pick it up Deepak came in on his day off and waited hours for us to arrive as we were stuck in horrible Bay Area commuter traffic. Even though it was 30 minutes until closing time when we finally arrived Deepak took the time to patiently explain the vehicle to make sure we would arrive home safely. THANKS DEEPAK!

Glad you are remodeling because finding where to go on the lot was quite difficult and not very welcoming. Also, we asked a worker where to meet “Sam” and he just said “inside”. Again, not welcoming. Once inside no one greeted us or asked if we needed help. We had to stop someone and ask where we could find “Sam”. After a while he appeared with no smile or welcome. Guess we were expecting more since we had a designated appointment time. The actual process was interesting because the car was washed and ready to go before we even discussed terms and made a commitment. After 4 hours we were ready to go but i only had time then for a quick go through of the basic technology and instrument panel. It was now dark out and I am 77 years old in an unfamiliar area. If my son was not there to follow home I would have had to come back for more thorough instruction and in daylight. Sam is an OK guy but the overall experience could have been better. The car is great.

I had a wonderful experience at Tracy Toyota, I am a first time car buyer and I could not be more pleased with my experience. My sales person was Sam W. and my finance person was Ed Lee. Ed Lee went above and beyond to make sure everything was covered and that I got everything I needed before I left. Ed was very understanding when I told him what I did not want and made sure every detail was perfect and also provided outstanding customer service. Ed went out of his way and put in 110% searching for a car that was just right for me. Sam W. did a great job helping find the perfect car. Sam W. was also great taking us out on test drives and explaining all the features each car possessed and also gave me a follow up call asking how I was liking my new car. Buying a car from Tracy Toyota was one of the best buying experiences I could have asked for. I never felt pushed or overwhelmed by the salesperson. I worked with Kacey Dawson and he was attentive to my needs, I never felt pressured to buy a car. To give you background, I went to other lots before going to Tracy Toyota and it wasn’t that the other lots didn’t have a car I wanted, it was more I was pushed towards the cars I hadn’t even asked about. Each time prompting me to leave to the next lot. Once I decided on a car, Kacey worked with me to get the best deal. I also liked that he worked with my schedule so that I could drive away with the perfect car. Getting through finance was entertaining and didn’t feel like a chore. This was the second car that I have bought from Tracy Toyota. The first I was handling for my mother-in-law. Both of those experiences have been very positive, easy and mellow. I recently purchased a 2021 Toyota Corolla hatchback from the Tracy Toyota dealership and it was a great experience. I was nervous as its a huge purchase but Gabriel was very knowledgeable and kind throughout the whole purchase. He was polite and tried to be very accommodating to our desire for a wonderful deal.I feel Toyota offers no workable deals. Customer service is pretty good. No line when I dropped off car for service and no line when I picked car up 1 hour before closing. Only reason I give 4 stars is my credit card got hacked after using it at this dealership in the past so I paid using a cash card (debit rewards) for services. I had an appointment on a Saturday and when I arrived, there were a lot of cars in front of me so I expected the service to take pretty much all day.But I was wrong, after a couple of hours I got a text from Zyn my service advisor indicating my truck was ready to be picked up.I didn’t have a ride to go pick up my truck and Zyn got me set up with a Lyft but the first time the pick up destination was to the dealership and not my residence. I had a problem with my battery. I was told by this service center that the previous service center used an unauthorized battery so they wont replace it. I contacted the previous service center. They said it was an authorized part. I contacted Toyota Customer Experience. They said Toyota Tracy is wrong and they are supposed to replace my battery. I was supposed to get a call from Toyota Tracy last week. I havent received it yet. I had problem with my glove box as well. I was charged $80 to fix it. Even that is not fixed. The charges are so high, but the service is not up to the mark. I still dont know if my battery problem would ever be solved.

Our salesman Daniel was amazing and very knowledgeable. We called to make sure what we wanted was there before going in. We were told he has something similar but what we really wanted wouldnt be in until a week later but we still took the chance and went to go see what he has to show.. My wife had our Tacoma serviced and was quoted one price but ended up paying way more. Ive called two days in a row to reach the service department and the call takers send emails to the servis advisor and I do not get a return call. The invoce that we recieved just has the bulk part price of $821.98 and a bulk labor price of $1238.75 without any itemizing of what was done. Ive been trying to reach someone there to explain why and to see exactly what we paid for in the service. I have yet to recieve a call back.

Started ok but ended NOT so ok.Some charges (amounts) were not clearly explained, was told its same as the last vehicle i purchasedWith the excitment if a Plug in Hybird, didnt notice there were NO floor mats until we got home. Called salesperson was told they were optional. I have purchsaed many vehicles and never without mats.BUT the papers clearly show that the price was included in the cost of the vehicle. People beeb friendly ever since I bought my truck here. But when it comes to service they fall short.My last visit was supposedly an oil change and tire rotation. I set an appointment at 1145am. Came in 15min earlier and got checked in right away. They brought the truck exactly 2hrs after and I got surprised it only took 15min to get it done. When I got home I checked the paper they where not able to rotate the tires. Just got dissapointed with that there was no communication or whatsover.

Ill never buy here again. I went to buy a 4runner, Sami helped. I took 2 cars in for trade (they were still being financed) and was told theyll pay them off if I dropped 6k towards the 4runner. Unfortunately I didnt take a better look at my paperwork while I was there and only 2k went towards the new vehicle while the rest went to one of my cars they already low balled anyway. So it is mostly my fault for not reviewing my paperwork and trusting these guys.

I paid for a updated GPS in October and I still havent had it installed. Also, my lug nut 🔩 came off that they put on 3 weeks ago. They also gave me mix match lug nuts. I couldnt even tighten them up myself. And when I got there they wanted me to leave my vehicle until Monday just to tighten up my lug nuts and update my GPS. Me and my wife were thinking about purchasing a new vehicle from there, but I dont think so

The service at Tracy Toyota was exceptional. My service representative, Zin, gives exceptional service and is the most helpful and knowledgeable rep I know. She goes way beyond good service and makes sure that unusual mechanical problems are communicated accurately to the techs and then she follows up to ensure the problems were fixed. As to the technicians who worked on my truck, I dont know their names but they also did an incredible job -- my truck hasnt run this well in years! And the steam cleaning on the engine -- OMG -- I cant remember when it has looked that clean. Thank you all so much!

Not the best, but definitely not the worst... I had an appointment today to have my vehicle looked at. They thought that it would only take about an hour to figure it out. The thing that sucks is they called me 2 hours into the service to inform me that they needed to keep the car for a minimum of 10 hours.Furthermore, during the 2 hours that I was waiting all they did was a visual inspection of the part we thought was faulty. I cannot imagine that taking 2 hours to do.You take the car, put it on the lift and look at the part... maybe 10 minutes tops? Even if you take into consideration that maybe the car just sat on the lot not even being looked at for 20-30 minutes, that doesnt justify the 2 hour wait.Not to mention, when the service advisor called us finally, they couldnt answer any questions because the tech was out to lunch. Meaning the car was just sitting and waiting, and the advisor didnt call.We left the car there and went back home, and lets see what they find tomorrow. The only thing I can say is that Im starting to think that all Toyota service centers suck... I chose this one over Dublin Toyota because they are notoriously bad... maybe next time Ill have to try Walnut Creek.

I came in to purchase a car for my daughter. She chose a 2020 Elantra and had to leave to pick up my grandson from school. By the time she returned about 45 minutes later, our salesman, Dell,. was already finishing up the paperwork for final signatures.I cant say enough about Dell. He is so kind and he made the buying process stress-free for me, which is not an easy feat.This is the second car I have bought from Tracy Toyota in 2 years and I highly recommend them.

This review is strictly for the service department. My purchasing experience was great.I made an appointment to have my car get my first 5K service completed (rotate tires, check fluid). My appointment was at 11am, I arrived at 10:45am, and was checked in at around 11:10am. Not a big deal, I can live with that. While Im signing the paperwork, the lady helping me out asks if Im dropping the vehicle off or waiting. I told her Im waiting. She replies awesome, our service tech take lunch from 12-1, your car will be ready at 2:30...seriously? 3.5 hours for 20 minutes of work, and I made an appointment. My car was ready at 3:30, 4.5 hours later. I will never have my car serviced here again. I can do the services myself, and will from now on.

I had service rep Zynthia Lamboo the first time I came and again my visit today and she is amazing at her job, confident, competent and passionate. She like others seem happy to work here. Excellent service from Deborah Pryor-Bruns and Johnny Aviles Jr. Found the Camry LE we wanted on Autotrader. Got a very competitive out-the-door quote via email that we agreed on. Went to the dealer later the same day. The car was waiting, washed and the gas tank filled. Completed the transaction in 90 minutes and drove the car home. We were pre-approved from our bank and received no pressure to use the dealers financing or to buy add-on products & services we didnt want. Very happy with our experience.
