I had yet another great experience at SVS! I needed an upgraded exam because things have changed and I wanted a different style frame. I was also interested in getting transitions. Jackie helped me pick out frames by presenting me with options. After getting my glasses I was helped with the adjustment to. I even had to come back a second time for more. The staff was so helpful.

Very nice experience! ♥️It was clean and spacious. There is a large variety of frames to choose from and they accept most insurances.The doctor was super friendly. He was able to examine and prescribe lens for my daughter in just a short bit of time. The staff helped her pick out frames that looked cute and fit appropriately.My daughter left with a big smile!! 😁Then the glasses came in much sooner than we expected. The girl made sure to make any necessary adjustments on the lenses, went over care and replacement options/cost.Excellent service 💯

I had a great experience at SvS they have great customer service and they were fast as in a timely manner to get my appointment done. Very friendly inviroment plus wide selection of frames. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that may need eye Care.

Never had a bad experience up until today. The other times I did not have to deal with this lady. But.. just because Im trying to see the price difference between plastic lenses and the other options because at the moment I do not have a lot of money to spend. Theres no reason to say really??? Super rude like because I asked how much the plastic lenses are. People have bills to pay and have other expenses and when you have no idea what a person is going through. There is absolutely no reason to act like that..and for that reason. I will not be going back.

The best experience I have ever had when shopping for glasses.. They didnt push any products I didnt want or need, the eye doctor was great to work with and so was Jackie.. Definitely will be sticking with SVS and highly recommend them to anyone who needs glasses or contacts..

I’ve never had a bad experience here. Both doctors I’ve seen were amazing and beyond helpful. All of the staff goes above and beyond to help you and get you into what works best for you. I for sure will be going back yet again this year. I love this place.

Decent selection of eye glasses, they had no problem taking my insurance. Staff was friendly and was very supportive with trying to teach me to wear contacts even though I ultimately failed. The Dr I saw for the eye exam lacked a little in bedside manner, but was overall pleasant and the other staff were all great.

Liked the frames and the customer service, but my lenses have worn very poorly. I’ve worn glasses for awhile; can’t think of any explanations for why they’re so scratched. I’ve taken good care of them. I’m trying someplace else for my next pair

I purchased a pair of glasses from SVS last June. At the time time, everything went great and the glasses I received were what I needed. Today, 7 months later I returned to this SVS store with over 20 scratches on the lens. After looking at the lens I was informed that they were normal ware&tear and Id have to pay $160+ dollars to replace them. The scratches are on the inside of the lens in all directions. Not scratches from activity as those would be on the outside. Not in a circle pattern that would be a sign of bad cleaning techniques. Theyre in every direction and all over. Im 64 and have worn glasses since I was 6. Ive never had glasses scratch like this. The store manager would only say nope, normal ware and tear, goodbye, have a nice day. I will not be returning to this store. They dont stand behind their product and have rude customer service.

My daughter went in for an eye exam on Friday. First time ever getting an eye exam. We were a few minutes late getting to the appointment on a Friday evening and I was feeling horrible about that but they were great. The staff was patient, kind and helpful. The Doctor was awesome. He made my daughter feel very at ease. He made her laugh so that relaxed her. The lady who helped us check in and find frames and sized her up was the best. We were there about 20 minutes after they closed but the staff didnt seem to mind at all. Takes a 13 year old a bit of time to pick out her first pair of glasses. Wednesday night we received a text that her glasses were ready when we expected about 2 weeks. The same lady assisted us getting the glasses and ensured they fit just right. We were out of there in no time at all. And my daughter was very excited to be wearing her new glasses. I would highly recommend SVS Vision of Traverse City to anyone.

She did a phenomenal job of helping me decide between a couple of pairs of Polo Ralph Lauren prescription glasses, and she eventually assisted in make decision purchasing the pair that I now own.They also have a really cool reference benefit. I have been going to the same optometrist for years who I have had a wonderful experience with, so when I moved three hours away, I was really hesitant to pick a new eye care place. Let me tell you, Dr. Connick was absolutely AMAZING. Very personable and friendly and, even though my appointment was the last one of the day, he readily answered my many questions and even hung around a bit after the appointment as I was picking out my new glasses to make sure that Ingot exactly what I was looking for and what fit my budget and face shape (for functionality purposes). Never have I ever had such an amazing experience! I immediately booked a contact appointment and cant wait to go back!Also, Amy was an amazing help with glasses. She was super patient even though they were technically closed and she also answered my many questions about what my insurance would cover and was extremely personable.Absolutely wonderful experience all around! I definitely found a new home for my eye care!

All staff are super friendly and the optometrist is pretty chill and straightforward. They literally went through every case with me and gave feedback on which fit and looked best (took 30 minutes) just to make sure I was set with the best pair even though I wasnt going to buy right then. Never had a bad appointment.Be nice to them too, they deserve it~

My experience has been that the optometrist has good humor, and I feel confident in his knowledge. Also, all support staff I have worked with really seem to care about their work, the people that they work with, and seem happy. Which makes my experience significantly better.

They are great! But if you have Medicaid, they are less like to be as talkative and helpful picking glasses and stuff. Other then that the doctor is great and caring! And I do recommend SVS to family and friends.

Spouse is a retired Kent County employee, so while we no longer live in Michigan, we still have optical based here. We make a trip home annually to get our eyes checked. We have used multiple locations and each one has great friendly staff. As a diabetic, my exam takes a little longer, and I never feel rushed or hurried.

Doc and Trista are the BEST!

My wife and I called ahead of time for an appointment and got the time that work for us. Even recieved a text message confirmation to remind us about the appointment. Once we arived for the appointment, service was friendly and speedy even tho they were busy. Eric did the exam on my wife and I, He was friendly and effiecent. He also did a great job of explaining why our vision is the way it is. Choosing a frame was quick and easy with honest opinions about what looks good. All this grest service while having a new born baby and a 17 month old along for the ride. I highly recommend this location for consideration. If you want a great experience that is. Also dont forget to set and appointment and stay positive.
