The place is a hidden gem of Christmas spirit plus some antiques! You might find something that you never imagined you would.

Such a wonderful store with so many beautiful items to choose from. The people who own it are so sweet and welcoming. A must stop if you love Christmas and Antique items. If you love games try to find Waldo (stop in and ask about it).

I don’t like to post ratings like this but I rely on the honesty of others to save me valuable time, especially on out-of-the-way stops such as this. Country Christmas has an affectionate nickname in our home; my husband knows when we go to TC (every year for 25+) he has to take me to the Happy Christmas Lady. Last year we walked in and out as there was nothing new from the prior few years. This year was an even bigger dissapointment. So sad to not have this to look forward to any longer but no need to waste precious vacation time when right up by the hospital there’s Christmastide and several other sweet stops.

Love this place, been going the last few years...we buy a few ornaments each time. Kids have a fun time trying to find Waldo.

Drove here to find a cute ornament to take back to Oregon. Heads up, the hours on here are incorrect. The sign on their door said Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 11am-5pm.

The customer service here is impeccable.The 2 ladies working were the sweetest. My wife and I were looking for an ornament that was Traverse City specific and they were able to accomodate us and personalize the items as well! We will be coming back every year.

I have been going to this shop for over 25 years. Back in the day it was an AMAZING Christmas shop with lots and lots of items - so many, that it would take you a couple hours to see everything there. Now it is a tired old shop with nothing new, nothing exciting and inventory that never turns over from year to year. I was just there this past weekend on my trip Up North for a color tour and mini vacation. Last year I was SO disappointed and this year was no better. Im done. Too bad as they have such potential but obviously do not know how to stock the shelves any more. I went to TC Commons to Christmastide which was a MUCH better shop and about 1/8 the size of Country Christmas - but the selection of items was current and pleasing to the eye. Country Christmas you need to step up your game ... you could still be a fab Christmas find ... but not the way you are currently operating.

Great place to shop for all things Christmas! Special and unique ornaments and decorations from Germany as well as local artists and the shop owners and employees are super friendly.
