My boyfriend and I were looking for a new mattress and decided to visit this Mattress Firm because it offered the Purple line. Desmond greeted us when we came in. He answered all of our questions and gave us a lot more insight on mattresses. Desmond was very knowledgeable and not at all pushy. He genuinely wants people to get good sleep! The Mattress Firm location is clean and well-organized. There are pads where your feet would sit on the bed on all the mattresses. They have great financing options. The check-out process was very swift and were extremely excited about our new mattress!

Where should I begin to let you know how great Larry and Tony are. I’ll try to keep it short and simple but detail will let you know not to go anywhere else to shop but Mattress Firm. I bought a mattress from another store and they didn’t inform that the mattress was on back order and couldn’t be delivered until second week in September. This store had no intentions of calling me. Larry and Tony not only got me a mattress similar to the one I bought but saved me $412.17 and my mattress will be here on the 08/21/2021. Thankful.

Lawrence was the associate who assisted us in finding the perfect mattress for my mom and I, and our needs. He was extremely helpful and patient throughout our selection process. His welcoming presence and insistent desire to help really pushed us to make sure we supported Lawrence and the mattress firm regardless of the other mattress locations we considered buying from before. I live in Arizona but have had a residence in Michigan for several years. This is the second time I have had to call the Troy store to discuss mattresses and order over the phone without ever setting foot in the store! I was in a hurry to get a bed and Mike was able to get me the mattress I needed for a great price and delivery was early (delivery guys were friendly and got the bed where I needed it!) Literally got me the bed less than 48 hours after walking into the store. I originally had bought a mattress from a different company and their delivery was 3 weeks out…so I was saved by Mattress Firm. If you need a mattress…GO TO MATTRESS FIRM! I had an EXCELLENT experience at Mattress Firm in Troy. Desmond helped me, and he listened to my concerns about my budget, and showed me their sale mattresses first, and I was able to buy a memory foam mattress for 50% off! I had previously gone to Gardner White and felt very uncomfortable with the persistence of the salespeople. But Desmond made me feel so comfortable and helped me find exactly what I needed. We had a great experience at this Mattress Firm. Everything we wanted was in stock and they were available to deliver on the day we wanted. We got a Purple mattress and they matched the sale prices that Purple offered on their website.

I moved to Georgia back in 2013 and needed a bed right away. The sales associate took really good care of me. That is something you don’t forget. When I needed a new mattress, mattress firm was the company that popped into mind. I could have gone anywhere, but they were my first choice because of the kindness they showed. And they showed the same kindness today. Andrew Davis and Desmond Jones were so nice by helping me put my mattress and platform in my car. I was in need of a new bed. I kept on seeing advertisements for the Purple brand. After searching it online, Mattress Firm was one of the only places that offers it and has it in their showroom.I was on a time crunch because I left work closer to 7 pm, and the store closes at 8 pm.I made it there at about 7 40 pm. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the salesman started explaining to me a sheet that asks things like budget, sleep style, and a bunch of other stuff. I really did not feel like going through that process so I was up front with the salesman and expressed that I was interested in the Purple brand and I wanted to try them out.I was able to try the four editions offered by Purple, and I really liked the original generation. It was the best fit for me. I took some time to weigh my options, and then I decided to commit to the original Purple mattress set, mattress firm platform, water proof protector, sheets, and pillow.I was really happy with the customer service that night. Despite me showing up 20 minutes before close, the salesman was not at all trying to rush me out of there. It was not until 8:30 when I was completely checked out and my new mattress set would be ready just shy of a week later for pickup. I am okay with that because the customer service I received was truly exceptional and I would recommend giving this mattress store a shot when in the market for a new bedroom set.

Desmond helped me find the right mattress for me that accommodated all my needs. I was able to try out a few different mattresses that fell in my price range, and I also looked online at the reviews before making a final decision. Desmond broke everything down for me with how the pricing would work regarding any returns and exchanges. They have free shipping and will drop it off at your door or you can pay for them to come in and set it up as well. My mattress shipped very fast. I went in and placed my order and two days later it was at my house. This location also follows COVID guidelines. Employees are wearing masks and wearing them properly and they limit amount of people in there at one time! I love my mattress so far. I have had it for about three weeks, and I dont have any complaints. I also got a really good deal on the mattress since there were a bunch of sales going on!

I went to 4 different mattress stores today and had issues at every single one until I walked into the doors of the all glorious mattress firm. I was greeted immediately (not hounded) and asked all good questions. Mattress size, style, and most importantly my budget. The nice lady took me over to a section and brought out 6 different mattresses in my price range and had me test each. Then when she figured out which mattress style I preferred reccomended two to me! I ended up buying one of her recommendations! Next time I look for a mattress I’ll be here

If you are shopping for a bed, DO NOT GO TO MATTRESS FIRM. They said my bed would be delivered in 5 to 7 business days when I was at the store and I was excited about that because I was moving into a new place and starting a new job. Days kept passing and the tracking system said my order was still preparing. I called and they told me that they would upgrade me if I didn’t receive the tracking number from FedEx or UPS. I called them since it’s been 10 days and now they are saying that I have to pay for the upgrade even though they didn’t hold up their end of the deal on the delivery. Very unprofessional and I recommend you shop on amazon. Oh and did I mention they also have no one on customer service that you can talk to you?

Horrible experience. The delivery team ruined our brand new carpet because they ran out of shoe covers, we reported to the manager and never received a call back. We had to pay $400 to get the carpet cleaned. Additionally, We ordered an adjustable base & initial base that was delivered was broken, we had to wait another week to have it delivered again. In the store the sales rep assured the base was compatible with our bed set (he pulled up our set in the store & looked at the specs). They seem to not want to do anything to rectify the experience weve had. Dont use them!

Buying a mattress can be SO complicated but not if you see Michael or Desmond at the Troy store. I’m confident we got a good mattress and a great deal!

Desmond was an absolutely fantastic knowledgeable and personal sales person. I was shopping with my elderly Mom who has multiple health issues and Father, trying to get Mom a new mattress. For COVID protocol, Desmond had to keep a line of people outside the store while he served us. He could not have been more patient and helpful. When my Mom had a dizzy spell he rushed to get water and chair. We ended up making a purchase and I wanted to hug him he was so compassionate and helpful. Despite the fact that there were people waiting to get in, he NEVER made us feel rushed and we did take a long time. He is a model of outstanding customer service.

UPDATE: If you need to cancel an order the service isnt as great. Also, should you need to speak to someone that is not at the store level, getting in touch with an actual human is a very hard and frustrating process. They give you a number to call on the website, but every option you press gets you to a message saying due to volume you have to contact via email. The only human you can get to is a sales person. I will say that when I made human contact not at store level the customer service person I spoke to was very friendly and helpful - just a frustrating process to get there.Went in at 6:30 on a Tuesday night. Was greeted by Desmond (I was only one in store). I told him what I was looking for and we immediately got to work. He gave me 3 mattresses to try while he checked availability. The whole time he kept me engaged talking about the different ones I was trying and the perks and possible things I might not want. He told me any specials on the 2 I’d narrowed it down to and ultimately I went with the one I’ll have to wait about 5 weeks for (no problem). I asked him about a decent similar feel in smaller size to hold me over til then and he had me try one that was on 1/2 off sale (which will be in the guest room). I got that one too. He answered all my questions honestly with his opinion and I never felt I was being rushed or pushed into a price range I wasn’t comfortable with. In other words, no high pressure sales techniques! I realize being the only one there I had his full attention, but confident he takes care and time with each and every customer. I highly recommend this location!! Thanks for a great experience!!!

We needed a new mattress to replace our saggy old one and stopped into Mattress Firm ‘just to explore.’ The salesperson, Desmond, was FANTASTIC! He let us browse as long as we wanted with NO pressure. Any question we had was gladly and willingly answered (sometimes multiple times lol!). We were leaning towards a ‘mattress in a box via mail order’ but used our visit to decide that wasn’t a smart choice for our needs. We spent a couple of hours trying each mattress and stayed until closing before we made up our minds (wanted the electric adjustable base as well). Desmond stayed another hour after closing to complete our purchase just WOW! His attitude was still friendly and energetic even though he was ‘off the clock.’ He arranged to get our new mattress and base delivered to us within the next 2 days so we could start enjoying that asap. I cannot thank Desmond enough for his professionalism during the whole experience- it’s certainly rare to come across people who are this dedicated to providing excellent service. We just went to MattressFirm and WOW! I’m so tired of going to stores now and most of them just have people hired to just sell without the knowledge of what they’re selling. Not so at MattressFirm! Well, the previous store would have sold us a base that would have negated our mattress warranty! We would never have known that if we had purchased it at the other store. I’ve been wanting a Purple Mattress for awhile now and have looked on the Purple website many times and planned on buying one off of there once I was ready. I went to Mattress Firm because I wanted to lay on one in person before making such a purchase. The sales associate Andrew provided us with absolutely PHENOMENAL customer service! He listened carefully to all of my wants, needs and concerns and answered my million questions in the most easy-to-understand way. He spent HOURS helping us find the right mattress with the right settings for our two totally different sleep positions and educated us on how to improve circulation and the science and technology behind all of it. Desmond was awesome in handling our questions and put our mind at ease when making a large purchase like this. No pressure in buying additionally warranties or something I didn’t need. We had great customer service here.We didnt really know what we wanted so they gave us the full run down.They had us try out Soft, Medium or Firm Mattresses then once we had that figured out, we went through the different types of mattresses.They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy.But we wanted to shop around. So, we went to the Art Van Sleeper store down the street. The difference in customer service was huge.We came back to Mattress Firm 10 min later.If you need a new mattress, go here! Keshia made me feel safe and comfortable, following the CDC COVID guidelines, and made me feel like there was no pressure. Picked up a box spring and was struggling to get it on our car after getting it out of the store. Desmond came out unprompted and assisted with solving our ratchet strap problems, getting it wrapped up with twine, and securing it to our roof. Wonderful service!
