I visited Hassan for the first time 9/3/21 in preparation for a family party. I was immediately impressed with the friendliness of the staff, furthered by the beautiful presentation of the fresh meats! It was also refreshing to see how excited the gentleman helping me was about his products! (I assumed he was one of the brothers/owner!) Although I went there for 2 items, I left with many more! So far everything I have prepared has been top quality and was a big hit at our Labor Day get together! Despite the fact that I pass many other store on my way, I will definitely be a return customer!

We got oxtails from them not even 3 days ago, and they went bad. It smells, and has mold! Lady said we can’t get a refund or replace them. Do not buy meat from them ever!

I called and asked for a bundle of meats. The owner was amazing, he put together a package of roasts, lean burger, sirloin steaks and beef short ribs at an excellent price. The steaks were very tender. The beef roasts were delicious.Great service. I highly recommend!

Seeing great reviews for a well deserved market makes my day! been shopping at Hassan Brothers for at least a year now & lets just say, they know how to make my day! Great service, friendly staff and amazing products! Couldnt shop anywhere else.I see the reviews on YELP and its just sad how people even visit a site like that to see reviews and make reviews as well. If you ask me, I would say YELP is full of the biggest lies you can read on there. Only haters post reviews on there because they cant compete with all the good reviews on google or facebook weather its for this business or a different one. Worst part is that when someone is talking trash in a review and you report it or request to remove it YELP always refuses to remove it, like what a shame! Seriously.Personally, if youre reading my review right now, put a like if you support me on the idea of the nasty website called YELP. People should avoid websites like that and come to google where everything is true and you see 10x more reviews that actually make sense!

My family and I have been coming to Hassan Brothers since we moved to Troy some 20 years ago. This is THE spot to go to for halal meats, unique middle eastern snacks and dishes, spices, and much more. It’s a cozy, quaint little store with a very comfortable atmosphere. The owner and employees are so helpful and even throw in free items with whatever you buy! Thanks for being the best!!

Bought some nice chicken wings today from Hassan Brothers! They look gorgeous! I dont know if I can wait till Saturday to cook them, might make them tomorrow instead.

Came in the other week for the first time after hearing from a friend that Hassan brothers has the best French chops. went in to try myself and I am so amazed with the taste of the chops! best quality ever and everyone was wearing face coverings which made me feel safe buying from their! definitely coming back for more

Went to the store yesterday for the first time and i will definitely be back again. The staff workers are so friendly and advisable and they always know how to take care of their customers with prices and deals. Amazing first time experience, I don’t understand all these hate reviews because the meat is amazing and the staff is so loving. Definitely will be back again.

Cleanest market I get my meat from! Even during the COVID pandemic they were taking every safety precaution and never closed their doors. I personally rely on Hassan Brothers Market for all my needs when it comes to meat and I am so glad to give them my business and support because they really are the best!

Stopped by sunday afternoon and picked up some amazing steak for a barbecue hangout with friends and family!! Definitely coming back again soon for some more

Just bought some chicken breast with their homemade marination and I havet yet tasted chicken like this before! The flavor of the marination is so different and unique from what you would eat at a restaurant definitely coming again next week for more!

A very clean well ran meat market. They make some great Sujuok and house made Kabob’s. All his meats are fresh and very well priced

Chose Hassan Brothers Today for Easter. I been coming here for 5 years now and i get cooked Lamb every year for easter and Christmas. Always the best cooked lamb. Keep up the good work boss!

Anyhow, looks like someone else here has a vision problem because you didn’t read my review correctly. I was talking about the employees and staff wearing a mask for customer’s safety during a PANDEMIC. I was not talking about the store being clean or not. Not wearing a face mask during a pandemic while handling with meat and customers is a health and safety hazard and violation. Which I just reported to Michigan health and safety department as well.

Found this market online today. Went in to pickup some lamb chops and walked out with several bags full of good stuff. Very friendly staff, excellent service and the food was amazing. The meat was very fresh as well. Will certainly recommend this business to others and will be going back for all of my fresh meats in the future.

If there was zero star I would rather use that instead . Worst customer service ever . First the girl in the meat department was not wearing mask while cutting the meat. Second she was so rude while talking to me with very loud voice and rude attitude. I will never go back there and will tell everyone about the bad service they provided not only this time but couple times before too .

This Place Is Clean nr 1 priority employees are smiling, reasonable prices. What else can i ask for I recommend this place to everyone I know.

Worst customer service ever. Waited 45 minutes for the wrong order. Forced to pay for extra meat than I ordered. Meat was good though, I already have enough to last me the rest of the year.

I just recommend the store they have the freshest meat and chicken and goat and lamb I bought some lamb stew with the bone and cooked with it it turned fantastic very tender and tasty Also I bought some marinated steak and chicken breast they were super tasty I really recommend that place to everyone the service is very very good and super clean and everything you ask they serve in front of you.

Bought 10 pound of supposedly 100% lean ground meat 2 weeks ago and wish I did not. Used to go there a long time ago, spent a lot of money but stopped cause quality meat was no longer good. But 2 weeks ago I decided to give them another try but wish I did not. The 10 pounds of ground meat didnt look, nor smelled good and finally when cooked didnt taste good either. I m thinking about tossing rest in the trash & calling them for refund. 90% lean we get from Costco or Kroger is thousands times better.They suppose to be muslim selling hallal meat but they are dishonest (defeats the purpose if you ask me...) I am really hoping they not like that all the time with all customer.I m better off eating non hallal meat from Costco/Kroger

I love going to Hassan & Bros. to get my meat, knowing that it will be clean and not contaminated by unclean meats. That gives me peace of mind. The staff is super friendly, they are always helpful and I love discovering new treats every time I go. Definitely my go-to spot!

First time i bought lamb kidneys, they are not good and it gives a bad smell this is first time i experienced cooking lamb kidneys which smelled like a rotten meat.Please give the good quality products always... very disappointed coming for first time. :(Dont recommend to any one, you can try Jouni Meats or Akbar they are good

This was my first time purchasing from here. I purchased the $129 meat package. Kabob meat was disgusting. Hamburger meat was very grizzley. Hamburger was sold to me frozen, when i pulled the first 2lbs out of my freezer it was grey and smelled bad. The 3rd lb was a little more lively but still half grey. Chicken meat was fresh very poorly trimmed. I could have bought better chicken from a dollar store (if they sold chicken). The roast meat was about 30% meat. VERY VERY disgusted with the products. Will NEVER purchase from here again.

I would give them 0 if possible. I asked for goat meats but they gave me lamb meats. This happened 2 times and now I have decided not to go there anymore. Also, they will rip you off big time in terms of pricing, Total scam and avoid this place by all means!

This has become my favorite store for ethnic foods. Fresh lamb and cheeses are the best and the staff is always willing to custom cut my meat choices. Great variety of spices and imports and the store is clean, clean, clean.

This place is a rip off. Ordered New York Strip steak advertised $3.49 per pound. The girl went in back got a piece of meat she didnt even show me how much it weighs and she said will be around $ 60 she started cutting it without cleaning at all. When I was ready to pay she didnt even wanted to put in weighing machine I asked her to put in machine it showed 12 pound instead of 17 pounds I was being charged that included the leftovers of cleaning the ends of meat. I got the meat since they cut it but for me that was $20 over the price they advertised, also meat wasnt clean all fat was in it when I open it home That was a rip off in front of my eyes and let them know never will see this store again. So beware make sure watch how much it weights the piece of meat before cutting it. Do not recommend this store to anyone the worst.

You want to buy old smelly meat this place has a lot of it . The owner is rude and belligerent don’t go this place.

At this place u get good meat, although its overpriced remarkably. Worst than that is each time you ask for a specific amount u get more than what u ask for. That could happen in meat business but not each freaking time with multiple people. If you end up buying from this place. Just make sure u get the amount u ask for. Last week i asked for 2lbs of steak, i got 3.7lbs!! Almost double!!

Great place for meat purchases.

The meat was ok. If you buy cheap meat like they sell in their ads, dont expect that it will taste like choice or prime. I went there a lot for a while, but it seemed like as a customer I was viewed with contempt. That is an uncomfortable feeling, and not worth the drive or savings, at least to me. I am a white guy in an Arabic market, but I did not feel like the contempt was reserved for just me when I saw the interaction with other customers.

The worst place you can go they gave me old pieces of meat i ordered a whole lamb and they gave me leftover pieces of meat that others didnt pick up i called back to inquire about why i didnt get what i ordered tbey had a horrible attitude they yelled at me and hung up....i dont recommend this place to anyone.

This place has a total scam system going on. However many pounds you ask for, you will get double. They purposely add more meat than what you ask for and then you are forced to pay for it because its already bagged.
