The Mocha latte is good. Blueberry muffin is delicious.

Fun atmosphere, personable baristas that seem to genuinely enjoy what theyre doing, and great coffee. These arent the watered down, syrupy beverages with a little bit of caffeine that chains serve; they are true to their name in that this is pure coffee. Creative menu, and definitely worth a try!

As a world renowned connoisseur of hot chocolate, I like it with dark chocolate, steamed milk and whipped cream for the sweet. This is an awesome coffee shop. Simple but elegantly decorated. Plenty of seating, warmly lit, good coffee. They also have a nice selection of extra products coffee mugs, grinders, whole beans, and even some merchandise.

Great coffee and the eats . Not a big sweets person and was happy that both things i bought werent overly so sweet you couldnt enjoy all the different flavors.

This place has really nice atmosphere. Their hours are better than the overwhelming majority of local coffe shops which seem to close way too early. The coffee is a bit pricey, but I have no complaints about the quality. They also have a good selection of delicious pastries and other items that youd want to eat while having a good coffee. I tried the homemade strawberry pop tarts twice, and they were the perfect accompaniment to their great coffee. If you love coffee, this place is worth a weekly or daily visit.

One of the best coffee shops in the area! Ive made the drive up from Dayton multiple times just to get their delicious coffee and pastries. Its a great space to work or meet friends, and the coffee is really some of the best in the greater Dayton area - and theyve got some steep competition! You cant go wrong with any of their drinks and sweets. My favorite is an oat milk latte or their cold brew!

The Barista was super friendly the place was clean and my quad whole milk latte was delicious, the bonus latte art nice touch! I did not get any pastries but they look really good I was kind of bummed I had already eaten. I got off 75 to go there definitely worth driving past Starbucks to make the stop.

First and foremost.....great coffee! Also, it’s a cool vibe with cool people. I was reluctant to try the “pop tart” but was pleasantly surprised. Hope they expand food options in the future. Great to have this place around.

One of the newest additions in town Purebred Coffee Company was hopping this past Friday. The shop has a male vibe, complete with a burly barista who offers quick and friendly service. The environment is community-oriented --any moment I expected someone to yell Norm when the door opened.I ordered a large brew-dip ($2.50, plus tax and tip) and the presentation blew me away. See my pic! The coffee had a stringent taste initially but ended with a deep note of pleasure.Excellent coffee, excellent service, and a wonderful workspace for commuters passing through like me. Who doesnt love downtown Troy! We stopped here after a disappointing hunt for a live Christmas Tree (bad year for trees). My 2 teenage daughters wanted to stop here for coffee and loved how the place was decorated and set up, however thats about all it had to offer. The young man who served us seemed annoyed by us and wasnt all the friendly. The coffee was even more disappointing. The girls got peppermint and caramel lattes and they were bitter with hardly any flavor. My husband got an eggnog cappuccino and thought it was just okay. My peppermint mocha latte was fine. Oh, and the process were a bit pricey imo. We probably wont stop back.

This is such a great addition to Troy. The baristas in the space were welcoming and helpful and pour a great latte. The space with open and fresh with plenty of outlets, so its a great place to stay awhile and work. It also lends itself to be a good place to just meet up and talk. Plenty of parking around so no stress with that. Although I just got a latte this particular visit, they offered a good variety of coffees. Definitely pay Purebred a visit soon! I cant wait to go visit again myself!!

We stopped by Purebred earlier this week to grab a coffee. Unfortunately, not a single employee was wearing a mask. This concerns me greatly. If you arent taking the health of your customers seriously during a pandemic, and your employees arent following the state-mandated safety guidelines, how can I also have confidence that your employees follow any other health measures like washing their hands after going to the bathroom?

Purebred is my favorite coffee shop! The staff is always great and the coffee and food is the best around. It’s a nice cozy atmosphere. I’ve made their whole bean coffees at home at well and they’re fantastic. Overall, such a great place to go to, even if it’s 40 minutes away from me. Great job guys!

We were hiking the BT today and stoped by this local coffee shop. Best cold brew I have had yet! The homemade donuts were awesome. The people working were very nice and welcoming. When I come through again I will definitely stop by again!!!

Great local coffee shop! The baristas are always awesome! The shop has a very good atmosphere that can be used as a personal escape for some creative work, or as a place to hold an event/ gathering!

While Im not overly fond of Ethiopian beans, thier dirty chai was delicious. The vanilla latte is decent and the bartender did a good job. Maybe an alternative to Ethiopian could be available, like Sumatran or Guatemalan, but I might just be too picky.

My husband and I stopped this morning to check it out, and wow! We had machiattos; the best Ive ever tasted. Strong espresso, yet no bitter after taste. The prices are great, staff very friendly, a lovely environment. It has the genuine basics of a coffee shop, which is all you need for excellent coffee. I highly recommend and certainly will be returning!

Very nice place! There are outlets at every table for all of your service charging needs. Quiet atmosphere to take a break. And the coffee is delicious! The lady at the counter was very helpful and offered to answer questions right up front. They have some different brews so it was nice that she understood that we might not be familiar with them but was happy to explain.

Purebred most definitely has the best coffee in the area. It feels and looks like a busy yet comfortable New York coffee shop. The coffee while good, is not perfect...yet. you can feel the passion that the owner and employees have for customer service and coffee as a whole.

Lovely little coffee shop in the heart of Troy! Tried the Guatemalan and Kenyan pour-overs, both of which were tasty in their own respects. They use the roaster, Deeper Roots, out of Cincinnati. Customer service was exceptional and got to chat with the owner for quite some time.

Wonderful and knowledgeable staff, excellent coffee. I highly recommend the honey latte, that and the cortado are my favorite drinks here. Great atmosphere. Chill enough to sit and read but lively enough to be able to bring my toddler.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this level of coffee in Troy, Ohio. After grabbing a burger across the street I went in to check it out. Youd find the same equipment and atmosphere at the great shops in any major city. The cappuccino was delicious made well with some African natural single origin espresso.

Hands down the best coffee in the area. A bit pricier than you might be used too but worth it, even if just for a treat now and then. They have multiple different cold brews that they produce. Both are really good. The cold brew nitro is definitely worth trying.

My first time here I quickly noticed they dont offer iced coffee. The barista proceeded to argue with me that cold brew is the same thing. They dont have iced americanos on their cold menu, more than likely in hopes youll buy their expensive cold brew. The hot coffee is very standard and similar to boston stoker or other similar shops. The atmosphere is that of an ordinary hipster coffee shop. Second time was today. They have the smallest large Ive ever seen. $2.75 for like a 12 ounce coffee. Barista seemed preoccupied with regulars and far less interested in me.

Today I enjoyed a latte with oat milk! Their espresso isnt extremely strong, kind of sweet actually. Love the staff and atmosphere, only downside of the shop is lack of size options for their handcrafted beverages.

Hands down best coffee in Troy. This is a perfect place for meeting up with some friends, studying, getting work done, or just enjoying a nice cup of espresso. Everyone there is super friendly and knows how to make an incredible cup of coffee.

Thank goodness for coffee that doesnt taste like a burnt version of coffee from my Keurig. Wonderful flavor. Taste separates this place from all of the rest.

Ive moved away from the Piqua-Troy area, but when I went home this winter to see my family for Christmas, I went to Purebred because for me, it was a new coffee shop. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the space. It was clean, artsy, and creatively minimalist, but not pretentious. I feel like if I still lived in the area, I could definitely come back and do some serious studying or just hanging out with friends here. The younger barista behind the bar pulled really good espresso and the baked goods were tasty, though Id be interested to see if they have a wider variety of syrups when I come back!

My Favorite Coffee Place! Ive had at least (2) new coffee drinks, at Purebred, that Ive never had before. Each was awesome. Most of all, though, are the people at this shop. The owners, and baristas recognize me and call me by name. We follow up on things that have been occurring in one anothers lives. As well, Ive met some great people here, and had some awesome conversations. Purebred, provides some delicious coffee/treats, but I think the culture in and around this place might be its greatest treasure!

Just visited for the first time the other day. The coffee is good but the pastries are to die for. The blueberry muffin and the cinnamon apple coffee cake were amazing. Staff was very friendly.

Giving Winan’s a run for their money, this place is on the opposite side of the town square and is the more “progressive” shop of the two. I had already been caffeined-out when I stopped here, so I got an herbal tea and was pretty satiated. Cool hip spot in downtown Troy.
