I heard years ago that fresh roasted coffee beans have the most health benefit, well Village Coffee is the BEST! I decided to go buy fresh roasted beans after they started roasting their own downtown, and I don’t think I’ll ever buy anything else. I got the House blend and the sweet barista offered to grind it for me, but I just purchased the whole beans. I COULD NOT BELIEVE the difference when I made this first pot. It truly was the best coffee I’ve ever had.

COVID- tall ceilings and airy. I did see some people inside studying.VIBE- I could be wrong because I am not from the area but it looks like a high school study/ hangout spot.COFFE- just a standard hometown sweet drink kind of place. My partner and I both got a frappe type drink and it was very sweet but it wasn’t bad.CHOCOLATE COVERED COFFEE BEANS- I prefer the trader joe ones to this. The choco coffee beans here had way too much chocolate covering so the chewing of the bean itself wasn’t that satisfying. It made it too sweet.

Happily sitting outside drinking coffee and smoking a cigarette and was run off by the owner who pointed to a no smoking sign... When you’re sitting there wondering how you’re going to make payroll remember me and remember you didn’t have to say anythingI had just spent $10 on two cups of coffee and tipped your staff another $5 and planned on buying another cup before I leftMaybe you’re looking for a different clientele ya know people who don’t smoke while they’re drinking your coffeeMaybe some homeless deadbeats bouncing off your free WiFi or some broke college kidsHeaven forbid you have good people visiting your establishment that actually have money and payWe won’t be coming back

They have a really nice selection of drinks there and I highly suggest the village charger. However, the lady who checked us out wasnt very friendly and acted like we were a nuisance to her. My boyfriend and I got their Jimmy Dean (and yes I said Jimmy dean) breakfast sandwiches to go and they were warmed for maybe 30 seconds because they were still pretty cold in the middle. Very disappointed, especially seeing all the good reviews.

The largest size does not meet the definition of large. Had I known the true size, I would have ordered two, or none. I paid over $5 for what at best, would be a medium.Tyler was awesome!I will not return.

Coffee is horrible. Got one honey latte today and it tasted like cardboard. It went to the garbage I thought maybe it’s the honey. Then went back in to get just regular latte. And it tested even worse. Over all $10 down the drain.

Frozen coffee and smoothies were great! Great customer service! And i was able to print a few copies while i waited via their printing service. Amazing!

I guess five stars, I just stay in the car while the wife goes in. No Starbucks where we live so this place gets her through. We go here often so it must be pretty good. Shes a bit of a coffee connoisseur

The associates were friendly and efficient at processing customer orders. The coffee I ordered was a medium, approximately 20 percent unfilled and the bagel I requested toasted with cream cheese, was lacking about half the cream cheese to cover the oneside of bagel. It was disappointing and could have been a 5 star experience, if only management wasnt being cheap, the price wasnt. Owner recommended to get involved.

Fantastic local coffee shop. They have lots of variety in their menu and helpful customer service. In addition to their main menu, they have baked items, coffee, and other accessories for sale. It is also a great place to go and get work done or study. Would recommend to anyone in Troy.

Stopped in thinking they had ice cream, according to the sign....but had a great salted Carmel Frappuccino with whipped cream. The staff were very friendly and helped me decide what to get. Also got 2 cookies to dip in our coffee .

Usually I enjoy coming here but this morning some of the staff had a bit of an attitude and was gossiping over what seemed to be a co worker... For this to be a “friendly christian” environment I think it’d be smart for the employees to avoid gossiping where customers can hear.

Coffee is always good. I called ahead with my order, but that didnt help that much given there were five people in line ahead of me. They need to consider a way of making call ahead more expedient.

Good coffee if a bit expensive. If you want to use the bathroom, you have to be a paying customer and ask for the key (which is a good idea) staff was nice.

Love it. I am from Georgia but make sure to stop by to grab coffee when I am in town visiting my mom. My favorite is the Iced Bushwhacker. Great coffee and even better staff. They also have free wifi and games (cards, checkers etc) for people to play as they drink their coffee.

Clean and courteous. Customers in line wore masks but the employee making the drinks did not wear a mask or gloves. On the higher end of pricing.

Felt like I was drinking straight sugar. Didn’t taste any coffee at all. Poured it down the drain which is a bummer because it wasn’t cheap either. Also when approached the register, instead of a simple greeting, the 3 people behind the counter had a weird pseudo argument about someone leaving their shift (I think) for almost a full minute (which is a long time to awkwardly stand there without being acknowledged) before they even looked at me. I don’t need to be wined and dined but that was very uncomfortable.

Tried the Pumpkin Chai, a must have for your fall drink.

We stopped on the way to Panama City Beach Florida. It was so good we stopped in on the way home. Its a gem! Great service and the smoothest coffee Ive ever had— and we have some premium coffee shops and roasters in Louisville, Ky where Im from.

The only coffee shop I could find in the small town of Troy, AL. They do a pretty good job. Coffee and baked goods were good. Space is a little small and cramped but clean and comfortable. Theres some issue going on with the bathroom since its posted no public restroom ... not sure what to make of that.

Our go-to place for delicious coffee when were in Troy. Only place Ive found raspberry mocha. Friendly staff and affordable prices. Small area for seating.

This is my most favorite coffee joint in the WHOLE WIDE WORLDDDDDDDD! Ive had Starbucks. Ive had Ellianos. Ive had Joe Muggs. Ive had wonders of company coffees, and they DO NOT top the smoothness of their roast. This coffee is not overbearing, and their bean accents are off-the-charts GOOD. I only drink my coffee black, and they are beyond 5 stars, 😉🙃 Ill always be coming back!

Love this place. I go a couple of times a week. Meet clients there when possible. If I have every gotten a drink that was not right, they are quick to correct it. Very nice staff and always a pleasure to be around. The environment is safe for families of all ages. Has seating outside if you like that better. Just glad this coffee shop is in Troy, AL.

I really enjoyed this coffee shop! Its a nice place to stop on our way from Florida and o had a very great tasting iced late. And the staff was very nice as well. Over all a good experience :)

Love this place. Iced and flavored drinks are far superior to Starbucks. Muffins and biscotti are amazing (especially chocolate chip and banana nut muffins).

The coffee here is really good. The staff is generally friendly, though the quality of service varies based on who is working. The shop is quite small, but I have always been able to find a seat which is really nice.

The place smelled damp and musty... The coffee wasnt very good; I had the house blend. The staff was courteous and pleasant and it was a quiant little shop with nice areas to study. Too bad for the smell and coffee.

Coffee is great but the staff isn’t always friendly. Just depends on who is working that day. Overall not a bad place to hangout and drink coffee.

This place sucks. Nothing on their website is available in the store. It says “build your own breakfast sandwich” when we got there they admitted they were Jimmi dean premade sandwiches. So I ordered a simple bagel with cream cheese. They gave me a bagel and one packet of Philadelphia cream cheese. I asked for another packet and they tried to charge me. Someday I want to eat at the imaginary store they had on their website. That place looked very enjoyable.

Perfect spot for writing!! Friendly staff, the perfect Caramel Machiatto and the best cheese cake EVER! I spend about 6-8 hours there weekly writing and the atmosphere is perfect, the tables/plug-in areas are comfortable and the WiFi is good. I have the option of staying in Montgomery at Starbucks but prefer Village Coffee.

Great little coffee shop! Delicious Carmel macchaiatto for my wife with a variety of sugar free syrup flavors (most places only have SF vanilla). Plenty of exotic teas for me as well (the orange dream was dreamy). Top it off with two polite and cheery baristas and some groovy music & decor, and this place started our morning off right as we headed out of town.
