My family loves the diamond vault! My husband bought my engagement ring there and we’ve gone back many times since. Everyone there is always super nice and helpful. The front desk staff is excellent. The prices for diamonds are the best around. I will say, after going there so many times, I prefer to work with Randy because he’s not so much of a typical salesman attitude, he is sweet and you can tell he genuinely cares. I hate feeling like I’m being pitched a sale and the “know it all” attitude some salesmen have. Randy is never like that, which I love! Always willing to explain everything in a genuine manner!

Diamond vault of Troy has truly been an amazing through each and every one of our experiences there. Holly is an absolute gem of a person who is clearly very knowledgeable about stones of all kinds and precious metals. She will answer all of your questions and provide top quality designs and help. She was great with my husband when designing my ring and hand picked all the stones for both my engagement ring and my wedding bands. They make it easy to get your products professionally cleaned and takes roughly 10-15 minutes. Could not recommend her and diamond vault of Troy more. We will be customers for life.

I came in knowing the general design I was drawn to and 4 Cs diamond basics, but she educated us about diamond fundamentals, hands on. I learned so much in just an hour than I ever did through the internet. With that knowledge, we hand-picked our diamond and were so comfortable with our decision, design, and the value behind our diamond ring. The ring turned out perfect. On top of their A+ quality product, the customer service was top-notch. No pressure, no sales pitches, they treat you like family.

Great experience, very friendly and helpful, on multiple occasions we were advised against a choice that would cost more (which would increase their commission of course) but would harm the strength of the setting, or was simply not worth the upcharge. Everything is totally custom made, they did a great job resetting a diamond we already had, and we also went back for our wedding bands, the selection of mens rings was massive when considering all the options one can put together online but there is plenty to look at in house to get an idea of what you are looking for.

Holly was absolutely phenomenal, she helped me design my fiancées ring while taking special care of heirloom diamonds she seamlessly integrated into the final product. Went back to get wedding bands and the process was even smoother. Definitely my go-to jeweler from now on.

Diamond Vault of Troy is hands down the best jewelry store Ive ever been to. From the time you walk through the door the customer service is first class. I was searching around for my now fiances engagement ring and narrowed my search down to two jewelry stores that did custom settings ( I already had a diamond). To be completely honest the pricing between the two were almost identical however the deciding factor for me was the customer service that I received from Tim and Holly. I worked with Tim when I was searching for a diamond and I worked with Holly to design and complete the diamond setting. Holly was flat out incredible! The first time we met we discussed what I wanted the final ring to look like and she literally drew the ring I wanted as we were talking about it. She was able to give me a date that the ring would be completed and she was able to meet that deadline. I could not be happier with deciding to go to Diamond Vault of Troy. I 100% recommend going to them for your jewelry needs. They are knowledgeable and provide incredible customer service ( I honestly cant stress this part enough). Another great thing about Diamond Vault is that not once through out the entire process did I feel like I was being pressured to do something and that was great . Other Jewelry stores were really pushy which was a complete turn off for me. I lost a ring purchased many years ago from an internationally-known designer. The style is no longer available, anywhere, whether at retail or directly from the designer’s studio. Diamond Vault of Troy carries the designer’s work, but primarily in wedding rings and engagement rings (mine was a cocktail ring). Randall Cole worked with me on an individual basis to reach out to the designer, pick out the precise stone colors I wanted, and prevail upon the designer to recreate my ring. I could not be more grateful for the attention and effort that went into this recreation of a ring that would otherwise have been a sentimental and physical loss. Highly recommend the product and the personalized service at Diamond Vault of Troy.

Randy is amazing, I was recommended from a very good friend who bought his wife her ring. Shortly after many friends from my church told me about Diamond Vault. It was a big investment and I am glad I went through Randy!

Randy and everyone at the Diamond Vault did such a great job helping my fiancé design my engagement ring a year ago! He came in with some pictures and ideas and Randy and the team created the perfect ring. After they did such an amazing job on the engagement ring we had to go back for our wedding bands. Randy was so helpful, he explained the different sizes, styles, and materials for both of our bands to help us make our decision. Not only did we find our perfect wedding bands but we had a great time doing it.

I went to the Diamond Vault to see if I could resell my wedding band set. Mr. Cole gave me an appraisal on the ring and was very honest and told me that he could not come close to giving me what the ring was worth. Reason being, when they purchase used jewelry they don’t estimate the value of the design and the work that went into the ring when it was made. He recommended that I try to sell my ring on craigslist or marketplace. I was disappointed that I couldn’t make the sale but he told me if I found someone to purchase the ring and I wanted to make we could come back to the store where it would be safe. I was so surprised that the store would allow me to do that.I would definitely recommend the Diamond Vault the people there make you feel like your family.

Took my wedding band and engagement rings to be resized because this was where they were purchased 7 years ago. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The work was beautiful and seamless. I had my rings back in a week (sooner than expected) and they were sparkling as much of not better than the day the were purchased. This is the only place I will bring my rings.

Extremely disappointed. Went in here over two months ago very excited to work with Tim again, who I’d met before when I went in with my brother, who was purchasing an engagement ring. This time around, after having left the store with a diamond held for me and having presented Tim with my idea for the ring I wanted, he told me he would contact me after doing a bit more research on the custom setting and side stones. Weeks went by without any word from him, at which point I reached out via the email he gave me and asked when he would be contacting me, to which he replied he was out for the day and would contact me the following day when he returned. Needless to say, I never received any type of contact from Tim and still have not. What should’ve been an easy sale for him instead left me feeling like he didn’t care about my businesses at all.

As someone who prides himself in taking the time to understand what Im purchasing before making a big purchase, I really appreciated Randys guidance and patience.Before even showing you rings, he walks you through the 4 Cs (cut, clarity, color, carat), and their respective importance depending on the type of cut you are looking for. I can be pretty type-A, so I had already learned a lot of this info before even beginning my shopping process. But Randy took it a step further and even broke down the science behind what makes a diamond truly special ; as opposed to just a hard rock.Randy and his staff are very responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied every step of the way.Once I communicated my target diamond grades and budget, Randy called his sources and had diamond after diamond delivered for me to inspect.And when we finally found the one (1.2 ct, D, VVS2, Emerald-cut, with Excellent polish and Very good symmetry), he came down on the price to be close to my target budget. My ring easily would have cost over $25,000 at Tiffanys. I wont disclose what i paid, but lets just say that Tiffanys mark up is about five-figures.To top it off, the day after my fiance said yes, we came in for a resizing before driving back home to Chicago. Even though the process normally takes a few business days, Randy had his jeweler completed the resizing in an HOUR on the same day; just so my fiance could wear the ring on the car ride home.I couldnt be more appreciative of Randy and his team at the DVoT. They took the time to teach me the craft, and worked with me every step of the way. Everything was transparent; everything tailored to my needs. Again, the staff being so friendly, they brought us wine! He also gave my girlfriend the history and background on the diamonds. This is one of the best businesses I’ve ever been to. We were treated like a million bucks, and we initially only went in for a $69 appraisal. I also needed a crack fixed in my ring, and we were so impressed that we decided to give them our business for that as well. Randy was so kind, honest, and knowledgeable. The people at the front desk were also very friendly and relaxed. I highly, highly recommend this place.

I visited 5 total jewelry locations, looking for an engagement ring, before settling on the Diamond Vault of Troy. Upon walking in, I could instantly tell the atmosphere was different than any of the other stores. It was a very professional mix of office space and displays that really made you feel at home. I was introduced to Randy and we simply started talking about what I wanted in a ring. I could tell that he has a genuine interest in what I had to say and a dedication to his field of work. He showed me some samples and I worked with his Designer, Holly, to come up with a perfect sketch of what I had in mind. I eventually ordered the ring and Randy was able to work within the small time frame that I needed. The bonus to this place is that they have Forever Mark Diamonds for a reasonable price, especially when you consider the amount of effort put in by the employees, and the good story behind the DeBeers Group. My now Fiancee absolutely loves the ring and we will be going back here to buy wedding rings for sure.

Tim has been such a pleasure to work with. My fiancé got my ring through him and it is GORGEOUS. I get so many compliments on it! This place is simply fantastic. Not knowing that an appointment is recommended, I showed up to browse some engagement rings. They were very accommodating and were able to fit me in to see Tim right away.
