I shopped around all over metro-detroit to find our wedding bands!!!The cathedral style of my engagement ring made it difficult to find a matching band. I also was not impressed with the mens options provided at many stores. I even ordered a few rings from blue nile as well. after a trip to somerset mall saw that troy jewelers was a jewelry store nearby. Tony assisted us from the start to look at mens wedding bands as I had lost hope in finding a wedding band for myself. After showing him the ring, he goes, well I can make a band that sits as high as your ring! I was very anxious to take such a big risk especially since we had just a week away from our destination wedding. Under a short period, Tony delivered a beautiful wedding band. We purchased earrings and a bracelet as well. You cannot beat the quality of work, service and price from Troy Jewelers. Look forward to going back in the future!

Update 3/11/2020:I had a little incident with my ring. My fiancé took it in. They cleaned it up really nice and it’s better than ever! They did the labor for free. These professionals stand by the work and I’m so happy we found them.My fiancé got my engagement ring here. It is beautiful! My fiancé brought in the original diamond my Dad used to propose to my Mom. They set it beautifully. I came in the day before New Years Eve because I wanted the ring a little smaller. They made sure to have it ready by the next day ( New Years Eve) so I could show it off. Great family business and Im so happy with my experience.

I have been working with Tony for over 30 years and I wont go to anyone else! He has not only done all my repairs, but he also does beautiful custom designs. If he doesnt have what you have in mind, he will either order it for you or make it himself, all for such a reasonable price. If I ever move, I will somehow make it back to Troy to have Tony do my jewelry needs. Honestly the absolute best.

I can not thank the owner enough for his skill, knowledge, and kindness as being a well known top jeweler in his field. I had an injury and had to have my wedding bands cut off :( the urgent care couldn’t do them bcuz they had diamonds going all the way around so they sent me to Troy Jewelers. He waited for us to Arrive and was skilled enough to remove a couple of stones and remove the rings without pain! (I broke my finger) after we finished, we offered him $ and he wouldn’t accept any. Great service and friendly people. They helped me with a difficult watch battery.

Allow me to elaborate on my experience for a watch battery replacement.After waiting to speak to someone, I was told that it would take 20 minutes of work to replace the battery of my seiko watch because it was complex. I was informed it may no longer be water resistant which I can understand since they are unable to pressure test the watch. While Tony was on the phone he was not only able to change the battery in 3 minutes but he succeeded in putting two scratches on the back which I later noticed. Not a big deal because it isnt exactly a high end watch but that shouldnt have happened. Then he told me the coupon he published only covers, some watches - this isnt exactly a Rolex, its a seiko. Even so, I agreed to pay him and proceeded to hand him my credit card to which he smiled and asked if I had cash to add insult to injury. Take what you will away from this - but from my positive experience with their company in the past on big beaver to now, I think I would have been better off going to a pawn shop.
