My heart was melted the moment i walked in i felt like a child again. I will definitley be going back we had a toothless dragon made for my girlfriend. And i made a birth certificate for my bear. Staff was super friendly im so glad i went there!

The staff was super friendly and really engaged in the process. Id never made a bear before and they made it really sweet. If I had any complaint it was the lack of variety of animals to pick from but that had nothing to do with the staff. I definitely would go back!

Had to wait to get in because of COVID but the store was clean and both workers were very friendly. Heather was helping 4 groups but remembered the names of all kids n gave them things to do to “help” her and keep them busy while we wait to get the bears filled. Even with mean people bothe girls were patient and calm. Will def be going back again

A bit of a wait because of new precaution, I appreciate them however I would have liked to spend a little less time waiting around for each step.

I have no idea what they put in the water and give to the employees here but I swear to goodness they are always so happy cheerful polite and full polite and put a smile on every little kids face including mine lol

Great place ! One negative! They should get more boy cloth for the bears! I would say there is 60% girl things 30% costumes and 10% boy cloth

Build-a-bear has and always been a great place. There are so many great deals and sales. It holds some great nostalgia. It also isnt just bears. There are bunnies, monkeys, media characters, stitch from lilo and stitch, baby yoda, and more. Totally recommend.

I bought my first bear from Build- A-Bear. It was a very wonderful experience. I have not had a bear, since I was a kid. There are so many to choose from. All the accessories, clothes, and everything else you can imagine to go with a bear. It was amazing to watch them build the bear and put it together. The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions. I will recommend them to everyone. I will go back for more bears.

This is the place to go for any special or regular occasion! I had a blast with my grandchildren we all got a bear! It can be pricey but it doesnt have to be. If you take your child in in there birthday month you pay there age.

My daughters first time there, and I think she enjoyed the experience. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately they only allow up to 16 people in the place (including associates) so we had to stand in line outside the store for over half an hour. And even though they didnt have the outfit we wanted, they were able to order it and have it sent to our house. Overall, a great experience.

Took my daughter here and she loves it. Imagination paradise for children and I enjoyed the process of creating, naming, and characterizing these fury friends.

Great service and my daughter loved her 1st trip here. However, it does get a little pricey if you end up buying all of the add ons. Either way, if you go here, you child will love it and you will leave spending about $30 per animal plus cloths.

Cute store! Friendly staff. Unfortunately, pricey I guess you pay for the experience of it all. Its best to sign up on there website for news and promotions. They have a rewards program in place but its missing more customer appreciation type of deals. They should offer a friends and family discount every once and a while. I do love how whenever theres a big popular movie out in theatres they have the bear readily accessible for purchase. I usually would take my children to make there bears and take them with us to see the movie in theatre. Fun treat for the kiddos!

I phone today to build a bear workshop at Troy.I should buy a baby Yoda plush.Grace, I know the name of this nice person answered to me. She was so patient with my english sentences and vocabulary. In february I was at my daughter at Plymouth Mi, but this plush didnot exist yet.....So I think that the most simply thing that I must do is calling ly dayghter Marion and that she sent me this plush.....Thank you soooo much Grace for all !!Marlène

The wait was 2 hours because of limited capacity. My sons dinosaur busted open before we left the mall so we had to go back and she sewed it back up by hand.

Weve always had a great experience here. The employees are friendly and helpful and really want to make the experience a great one for my child. The merchandise can be a little pricy, but this isnt an everyday stop for us so I dont mind spending a little extra for the experience.

This was our first time going to build a bear and I wasnt sure what to expect. I saw that there were some children celebrating a birthday. I thought they were getting some extra attention because it was their birthday (which I totally understand), but I was pleasantly surprised that they paid just as much attention to my children and the other children there too! We had a great experience!

I took my daughter for the count your candles promotion. I was a little disappointed that you can only choose 1 type of bear. But all the add ons are super cute, but super costly. Overall my daughter greatly enjoyed herself. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

My granddaughters 10 birthday

This Build-A-Bear is very enjoyable to visit.  The staff and management are upbeat and participate in the events around them.  They are caring for their patrons.They have a great selection of bears and other stuffed toys to choose from.  I like the pirate and the rainbow bear especially.The stuffing stations are in good condition.  One drawback was there was a light film of dust in the place.  I am not sure if it was due to the material batch they were using or the process they used to load the stuffing station.  The process involved dragging out a bag and grabbing large tufts of material and pushing it into the machine.  They might need to work on that one – maybe auto introduction from a bag or small bale.When we visited there was a young bride there with her bridesmaids and family.  It made the whole activity festive.  Talking about festive – there was a birthday party going on too and if you don’t know how it gets in a Build-A-Bear when a party is going on you’ve simply got to see it to believe it!They have a wide selection of accoutrements for the bears and others.  It’s a hoot to browse through them.  Last but not least there is a sound machine where you can load sounds into your bear’s heart which is then placed in the chest your bear and sewed in tight.  (It’s not as far out as it sounds – once you see it or participate it all makes perfect sense – like having fun!)Enjoy yourself!

Came here a few weeks ago for the Lion King collection. The girl who stuffed the animals for us did not seem very happy. I expected much better service from Build-A-Bear, as all of my ones in the past were way better.

Okay yes my kids love this place you get to pick an organ shove it inside a stuffed animal and then push a button with your foot and stuff it while Im watching the ladys sew it up.. be expected to pay a minimum of 25 to $30 regardless of whats on sale dont forget you can add sound now recordings songs smells for an extra 4 bucks even buy clothing dont forget your birth certificate for your animal and try not to get talked into the buy extra $20 gift card get $10 free just say no very tempting try to resist

The staff were kind and helpful, even while hosting a girl scout party. Since its my birthday, they gave me a birthday heart for my little Barron, the Business Bull. XD They were very busy, but were efficient. I definitely will be back again!

We took my daughter here for her birthday its in December. I hate to admit it but I was really jealous. It was a lot of fun you pick your animal you can have a heartbeat put in it the heart only beats 3 or 4 times I wish it would beat longer. If you want to sound in it you can get a sound she picked a song from the movie trolls they put it in the stuffed animals hand. You can also pick a scent she picked the bubble gum. They had all sorts of different outfits and costumes underwear I grabbed her a couple of clearance outfits and she got Elsa from Frozen dress along with the wig couple pairs of shoes. And then they do this cute little saying before you stuff the bear she absolutely loved it. It was kind of expensive. In the bag was the Valentines Day special animals and they had a couple teddy bears and a dog. I absolutely fell in love with that dog. So for Valentines Day I got my boyfriend to take me to Build-A-Bear and got that puppy dog I wanted so bad. I did put a beating heart in. And two Lavender scents I wanted it to be strong. I felt like a little kid in there I sang the song poem thing that you do before you stuff it. The clothes are so cute the puppy dog is a boy so he got boxer briefs ❤ Batman pajamas a couple pair of jeans and shoes it was a great experience. My boyfriend had taken the day off and my daughter was at school when we went. The first one was regular price and the second one was $10 so we got her the Valentines bear named it rainbow kiss. While it is expensive its definitely worth seeing the smile on your kid or girlfriend when they get to make something so special.

My children really enjoyed Build-A-Bear Workshop they had a blast picking out their new best friend however it didnt last long. On the car ride home one of the horses my daughter had picked out had clearly been over stuffed and the seams on its face split open the store and they were extremely understanding and accommodating I went back the next day and the very nice girl at the corner sewed it up. Unfortunately this didnt solve the problem although their sewing technique is not as visible as others it was still clear that it had been fixed because now the fabric on the face Pluckers... I am quite disappointed over this and wish they had offered a replacement clearly the issue was caused by it being overstuffed & within a day the same seem split open again this was not wear and tear this was simply overstuffed and just needed to be replacement...I contacted Build-A-Bear directly not the store this time asking if I could send this one back and get a replacement but unfortunately no one ever called me back

My go to place when Im bored. I always find a special friend. My daughter bought me the 90th Mickey mouse. This location was nice, neat and clean everyone was pleasant we didnt feel rushed they also have almost every bear you want and clothes

Expensive to make your own bear or other animal and choose what you like. Overall if you come here every other year for the kids isnt so bad. They get happy for awhile than want another toy not that long later.

We bought bears for 4 kids and the customer service was absolutely awful. The employee seemed to be very uninterested in being there or making it a nice experience for the kids. Didnt seem like there was a manager around to supervise.

Definitely understaffed. Shouldve expected people to be visiting after the pay your age promotion and prepare. But clearly theres no intelligent people within the company. No other reason we wouldve visited it they didnt give the $15 credit from the original promotion. Should have a larger facility to accommodate the rushes.

The lady was wonderful that stuff the birthday bear for my daughter 1st birthday.

Took my nephew here to build bears for his sisters and himself. He had a ton of fun helping with the stuffing and the heart ceremony. Only thing keeping me from 5 stars is how expensive it is and the fact that we had to come back after how un-prepared they were for the crowds on Pay Your Age day.

The accessories are of course overpriced😏 but the actual animals are VERY reasonable for what your getting. The ladies were really sweet Kia was just the kindest lady💓!

It was my birthday and Im 28 years old, but definitely still a kid at heart so I had to get a Pikachu with my girlfriend. The staff was so nice and they even went through all the steps to making the stuffed Pikachu so they were super funny! Thats what customer service should be like all the time :) Ten outta ten!

Staff has been awesome for all of our visits so far - even when the lines are long.

When you walk in the staff is there but no one seems to ask if you need any help they either look at you or walk away trying to find something to do. I wish I could give 4 stars but they need to work on that. Twice I have come into the store and left out with my granddaughter due to service.

I had had a problem earlier this year which was not handled properly by customer service, but this store manager went above and beyond to resolve my previous issue. She was very pleasant, and extremely helpful, and our visit was a lot of fun.

Id b honored 2 participate in anutha BAB 4 her baby sista ina month approximately 4 her bday.

Nice store but some of the staff could use some training on how to be a little more cheerful to the children making the bear by explaining how its being done in a cheerful way instead of being so uncaring!
