Phil and Jake did a remarkable job restoring the exterior limestone, and stone floor of my 100 year old home. They worked tirelessly to remove years of grit and grime, and return the surfaces to their natural color. The result is better than I expected. Awesome work, and great personalities to boot!

A technician from Stone Restoration Services came out to deep clean our two bathrooms. The young man was very professional, courteous and efficient. In each of the bathrooms he had to replace some chalk. The chalk came out white, it should have been clear, and lumpy. We set up a time for the next day for hi, to come by to check it and possible redo the areas. When I spoke to him I told him that both areas had dried clear and looked good. He was insistent, in a polite way, to come to our home to make sure it was up to his standards. He was happy with the results and we were very happy with the shower walls and the bathroom floors. Excellent work!

My job was originally done on April 30th. It was ok when the counter was polished and sealed. In the meantime, a death in the family occured and I was unable to respond to a request for review. Before I posted online my review, I reached out to Greg and explained the job was ok but I had a concern. He responded immediately, had Jeff come out and look. Today, less than 1 week from reaching out to Greg, Terry arrived this morning and resolved my concerns. The counter looks better than it ever has and the service I received was above reproach! SRS did a great job refinishing my stainless steel backsplash removing scratches which prevented me from discarding the steel. Greg was very responsive and made sure the job was done well. Its nice to have an option to refinish rather than throw away. SRS offers a unique service at reasonable cost. Greg and his business felt honest to me and I always try to support small businesses when possible.

I had a wonderful experience w/SRS. I had a difficult job for them with a special concrete tile that had not been treated properly and the original installers had left a grout haze. Also, I had 2 more projects correcting shower floor (marble/onyx) with grout left on stones and the wrong sealer and polishing a large travertine table. Jeff was very prompt in responding to my inquiry. He was extremely knowledgeable in how to treat and take care of each type of tile and stone. He came to our home to evaluate the 3 jobs, provide an estimate, and give his best recommendations. He was very honest and forthcoming about what his workers could accomplish. He called to confirm appointment the day before and answered additional questions that I had. His workers were just as he said, very experienced and very professional. I would not hesitate to use SRS again or to give them the highest recommendation. Overall, it was the best type of experience possible.

They did a great job with the floor. Quick and efficient. Only thing I would say is that they scratch super easily and cracks and chips super easy if something falls. Looks gorgeous and every one loves it.

We had SRS restore and polish our marble master bath (floors, shower) - the SRS team was very professional and courteous. They did a fantastic job - the marble looks new! I had SRS come in before repainting the walls - the SRS team was so neat and tidy that I now wish I had painted first :-).

The entire crew that I worked with was wonderful. From the first meeting for the estimate, down to the very end when the work was complete. They were accurate and precise with their explanation of the work to be done, and they executed it exactly as they said they would. We purchased a 1920’s home that had very unique Flint tiles which were layered with years of wax and dirt build up. Of the three companies who I called to restore the tile, SRS were the only ones who knew how to properly take care of it. They also were the only ones to accurately identify the type of tile as every other expert who looked at them assumed they were Pewabic. I will say that I followed their recommendation of not sealing them with wax or some form of poly and I am regretting that decision as they feel have an “unfinished” look.

We used S.R.S. here at the Charles T Fisher Mansion to polish our marble floor in the Ballroom. We were expecting the floors to look good but Gregg and the S.R.S. team really put in some extra effort and the floor looks AMAZING...it is now like walking on a piece of glass! Just stunning! We have a 7 year old large slab of marble as a kitchen island and a few side counter pieces. We have struggled with accumulating etching rings, and other marring after years of teenagers in the house. With them grown and living on their own now, it was time to do the fix. SRS quoting pro (Gregg Laviolette) was excellent with option development and ultimate recommendation for what we had (not the feared sell you what you dont need). The technicians (Jake and Barrent) were great, polite, accommodating, and minding social distancing and masking needs. They appropriately helped us determine the level of honing for our liking, and did some on-the-spot hone and coloring sampling to guide us through some choice-making. A great team and i give them and SRS an unqualified recommendation that you use them.

We used SRS to refinish a marble floor for a school project of ours and the work was outstanding! The floor was brought back to its original life from 1950. I highly recommend them for all flooring restoration services.

I had lived in my home for thirty years, and the marble in the front entry way was very worn and it was in need of replacing. However, a friend suggested that I call Stone Restoration Services to see what they could do. They did a great job in just 4 hours and it looked like new. It was much cheaper than replacing. They are the way to go.

Overall my experience was good. The team showed up as scheduled and complete as scheduled. The floors look great and the product is performing as expected. I have a couple of spots that need to be touched up and I am waiting on the team to show up and fix them.

SRS cleaned and polished my master bath limestone floor. They did a good job but I would never recommend limestone tile for anyones bathroom. Too difficult to keep from staining. I would choose non porous tile in the future.

Could not have asked for better service from beginning to end! I requested a quote online by giving fairly detailed measurements and a description of our 1930s basement terrazzo floor and received a prompt response with a rough quote. I set up an appointment for an estimate and Jeff came out. Friendly, professional, and way more interested in doing the correct finish than the expensive finish, but thoroughly explained all three options. His quote was spot on to the rough estimate I received. We scheduled the service and the men who came were prompt, friendly, clean, and clearly took pride in their work. We had a very dull spot on our granite. The spot was brought back to a shine. Then he resealed all my other granite. The gentleman doing the repair was on time, very neat and just a pleasure having him complete our repair.

These guys are great. Continued with the job until it was perfect, and their craftsmanship is outstanding. After two years the floor still looks excellent. Their attention to detail was amazing, and I would not hesitate to use them again.

We live in St.Clair County and could not find a place that could restore a marble top that is estimated to be from 1858. The stains were so bad we were ready to buy a new piece of marble, but thought we would try Stone Restoration Services first. It was amazing this company brought back that piece of marble to like new condition. I have passed on the name of S.R.S, to a gentlemen who has a wood restoration business because he cannot seem to find anyone in this area that restores marble.

I highly recommend SRS! I had a travertine floor installed by another company who did a horrible job. 90% of our floor had severe lippage. I was referred to SRS by multiple flooring professionals. I brought out a few companies to quote my job and SRS was competitive with their pricing but they were also much more knowledgeable of how to properly grind our floor. I could tell SRS was a professional and trustworthy company from my initial meeting with Jeff who came out to quote my job. SRS was great in managing my expectations. We were very nervous to restore our black slate floor because we were patching in some new tiles due to the opening of a wall. We did not want the new tiles to be apparent and they are not. The floor looks like its been here since the house was built 50+ years ago. The cleaning and sealing of the entire floor is just amazing! SRS were great to work with and we couldnt be happier with the outcome. The floor looks better than ever!They also cleaned our marble bathroom floor and that too looks great. Our Corian counter tops were professionally restored by S.R.S after 15 years of hard use. All the scratches were removed and the surfaces shined better than when they were installed new. We were especially pleased with the professional and courteous crew. And best of all, there was virtually no mess. All of the sanding dust was sucked up by a high tech HEPA vacuum system.
