I do almost all my own maintenance on my home and cars. I getting older so I dont know how much longer thats gonna last but Harbor Freight certainly helps with that. The service is excellent and the tools and supplies are good quality at a reasonable price.The lower end stuff you still have to be careful of but when I buy that its because I know it wont get used much or perhaps only a couple of times. Its a great resource for that DIYer.

Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, cashier was excellent. The item I went in for was out of stock, they offered for me to perhaps go to another store but I prefer to deal locally, Miami County. I found a hardwood workbench that would be better for my purposes. Tony and a young lady loaded in my car, the young lady taught me how let my back seat down. Absolutely a great experience at Harbor Freight.

Quality isnt the best but its not bad. They usually have what ever tools I need to do whatever it is Im doing, from car work to carpentry work. I can usually count on them to have what I need (and somethings I dont) at a reasonable price.

Clean store, nice staff, but now you have to be in a program for maximum discounts, no more coupons. There is a yearly fee for this program.

Brandon at the Troy store who was working on Saturday 2/13/2021 went above and beyond with customer service. He was very polite and helpful. I recommend he get a raise. Nice to see younger adults performing great customer service in this day and age

Very poor website response. Ordered a tool online saying it was in stock, after a week of not shipping order said unable to fulfill. Tried to cancel two times online asking for a response from company. No response ever came. I found the tool at a different store and canceled item again online. No response. After a few more days, the tool shows shipped. Called customer service as it said only the label had been created. Customer service said they could only send a label for the return, or once I receive tool I can return to store, but will be out the shipping charge. Very poor customer service, and to get no response to 3 contact attempts online is unacceptable.

A great place to get tools. Quality to price point ratio is usually pretty great. I do not buy everything here but HF is awesome if you need a tool youre not sure you are going to use regularly. My philosophy, buy the cheap tool. If you use it enough to break it quickly, buy a high quality tool. I still use some of my just starting out HF tools I bought years ago, waiting for them to break, but they havent. (Ive had my electric grinder for 10+ years) Hand tools are usually very good for their price too.I have had to return stuff before but theyve only really asked two questions. Is there an issue with it? And Do you want to exchange it or get a refund? Pretty painless.

If you need something in a pinch, something you dont plan to use every day, or you know your just going to destroy the tool either way this is the place to go. Dont get me wrong some of their stuff is pretty good and I have had really good luck with it. Other stuff not so much so keel that in mind. The staff at this store was super helpful and polite and the store looked well kept.

Harbor Freight Im able to find the tools I need at affordable prices. The quality is as good as any other tool on the market if not better in some cases. They have an easy return policy and always treat me with respect when I do have to bring something back.

Friendly, knowledgeable people. I was getting trade school supplies for my son, just a few things unavailable. Almost everything I needed would be in a kit with tools he wouldnt need, none of the sockets came as a single piece so Ill have to look elsewhere for the ones he still needs. Other than that, money well spent.

Cheaply made tools

Its great because its harbor freight. Granted, the expected lifespan of anything I buy there is about 2 days, but its a damn fun experience to browse, buy a motorcycle lift perhaps, a furniture dolley, and a variety set of Louvres that feature all the same sizes, thus missing the variety part by miles. Fun though! Clean, quiet store.

I love Harbor Freight. Most tools are good quality but there are duds. If you become a regular you learn how to distinguish their good stuff from the bad. They are amazing in general and the staff is generally really good. The only major downside is the incessant ads and fake mark downs. Also always search for coupons as there is a 99% chance you will find a percent off or better.

We never had been here before, but wanted to check on a portable garage that we had seen advertised. Sue said that she had never been in such man store before! It was good for her. We looked through the store and didnt see what we came to see, so I asked the man at the desk nd he pointed toward the back of the store and said, look for the check sheets. After about 10 minutes we asked a young woman and she pointed and said the same thing. Our guess was, we couldnt follow directions. So we asked her if she would take us to these check sheets. She did, and now we know what a check sheet is. They didnt have a portable garage only a check sheet. It was recommended that we go on line to buy it. Now we know.
