The barbers that gave me a hair cut are professional at their job. Usually, I don’t have a preference on which barber gets to cut my hair because I trust the store and employees 100%. If you tell them what haircut do you want then they will do it. They are so good at giving you a fade and trim than any other barbershop I went to. I will continue to go here until I move out of the Trumbull/Fairfield area.

Very bad experience with a hair stylist. She is very rude, arrogant and no patience at all. I requested for brown colored Balayage but the lady ended up doing with blonde color. I spent all my money for a awful result.

I wasn’t pleased at all with my hair…I simply asked for balayage and the hairstylist not to mention no name did something completely different. I showed her a picture and she said it was easy and she can do it,mind you I showed her the picture 3 times and what she did was regular highlights and still charged me for a balayage 😡To add to that the front desk girl recommended her and spoke highly of her, saying that she was the best in hair coloring which I disagree.

I’ve worked with Tiffany and Amiya. Both did a great job and I had a great experience at this salon. I would recommend it as they’re hours are flexible - open 7 days a week as they’re connected to the mall - and they do a great job!

WORST PLACE EVER!!! I am very disappointed with my haircut. The lady does not know how to do long layers. She ruined my hair. Never going to this terrible place again. Goodbye.

Great Family spot to get a quick hair cut or style at a decent price. Great with kids, beautifully executed styles, great stylists that are so friendly. The only negative is the front end service.

Not covid safe place, the staff will not wipe the chairs and the place in Trumbull mall is too small for social distancing. Half of the customers had no mask on. I was terribly overcharged. Ask for prices before they start doing your hair and say no to everything that your hairdresser have to offer otherwise you might end up with a $300 bill as I did.

Geo is my barber of choice. He is a great listener when it come to the way I want my haircut. He checks in with you during your haircut and makes sure your comfortable I highly recommend Prestige and Geo as the barber.

I have been getting haircuts here for a couple years. Everyone is friendly and the business is well organized. Even without an appointment I rarely have to wait more than a few minutes. I have had multiple stylists cut my hair and have never been disappointed. If you have a preferred stylist you can always call and book an appointment. They also trim beards. For us guys, its nice to have a pro trim and shape things up periodically, even if you dont on every visit.

I got my hair done my Emira(i’m pretty sure) and asked for curtain bangs. the right side looks amazing but on the left she took way to much hair and made it look terrible. I also asked for 1 inch off and she took off three!! I always get something else than what i ask for and if i get what i asked for it comes out terrible!

Muhamer cut my hair too short. He is a good barber, but he cut my hair too short and I told him that he needs to stop cutting it. I specifically said before he started cutting that he should cut it to the bottom of my ear. He insisted on cutting it as well. Also, on the phone, I asked for a specific barber because he cut my hair perfectly last time, and I didn’t even get the correct barber.

Geo has been cutting and styling my hair for years now and I appreciate his expertise as well as the service and friendliness at prestige salon. I have had experiences at other salons that were not pleasant but each time I walk into prestige I am impressed with the operation and the professionalism of the management and the staff. I was very skeptical about a hair salon at the mall but I’ve never gone somewhere so welcoming! Also I’m completely in love with the haircut I got ! Ask for Mary she only speaks Italian but the man at the front desk translated everything between us and I left so happy with my hair! I come here for haircuts all the time and Geo is one of the better barbers so I recommend asking for him. Simmy is at the register most of the time and she is also very helpful with anything I need. The salon is family oriented and never gave me any issues.

I brought my 7 year old daughter for a haircut here because all 3 of my salons in Monroe were booked and my daughter wanted her haircut that day. While they weren’t super friendly they weren’t rude either. The hairdresser didn’t introduce herself so I have no idea who she was but she did okay. It was a bit shorter then I wanted but my daughter pulled it off and she liked it. Because my daughter got her hair washed and dryed I paid $42 instead of $19. No one told me and I have no clue why washing and drying a child’s hair (who got it cut from her shoulders up to her chin) costs more than the haircut. To top it off you can’t add the tip to the receipt— but don’t worry they have an atm that charges you an additional $3 to take money out. I dont mind paying a lot if it’s worth it but it wasn’t. I know it’s not the hairdressers fault but I don’t appreciate being hustled so blatantly.Due to COVID and having my other daughter, I couldnt stay with my daughter in the salon. They had no chairs and there are no benches nearby so just be aware and plan if you have no alternatives to bringing multiple children. I’d rather be safe from COVID so I didn’t mind this too much and it was quick.We for sure would not be back.

I asked Beni, the barber, to cut my hair like this, and he made it like below. He started cutting from the top using the clipper, finished everything in 5 minutes, like a work I can do by myself at home. All work was done by the clipper. I’ve been here 5 times or so and always asked to cut as the same picture. Nobody started cutting from the top using the clipper, even the guy Beni before.--------------------------------------------------------------- update --I visited this place again, about a year after the happening, to get a haircut, and the manager remembered me. The manager talked to a barber to give a nice haircut and I got a pretty good haircut.

I have natural hair. Wash and blow dry are not included in price and you arent told until after. I received a wash, deep condition blow dry and flat iron with SOME curls at the end. I have gone to MANY places and the most I paid for this was $40 (including tip) here I paid $65 (NOT INCLUDING ADDITIONAL TIP). When I informed the woman at the front desk that $65 is VERY EXPENSIVE, she decided to make a scene by walking back and forth to the stylist asking for discounts as if I couldnt afford the amount. When I told her that I could afford the amount and I was only stating that the price was steep in continued to talk on and on. All I wanted to do was pay my bill and leave since she already made such a scene. I had to legitimately BEG her to put my bill on the screen so I can pay and finally leave. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

Must say the lady who answered the phone was very polite and answered all my queriers, she asked me to come in for a quick consult. I went in and spoke to Simmy the lady in the front, even tho she was very busy she was handling all the clients pretty well. She took her time and recommended me few services for the concerns i had. I must say a employee like her is must for every business. She knows what shes taking about i really wished she was a stylist. I will for sure be coming back to them. Good customer service starts from the minute you walk in. I will be recommending this salon to all my friends and family.

Didnt get what I expected. The color I got was not the one I asked for, and the estilista did not understand what I asked for. I asked for a balayage, yo be done very close to the scalp and got instead a style that just looks that my natural hair grew and didnt have retouch for 3 to 5 months. I tried to clarify what I wanted when I saw that she was done putting the hair dye, but she said that it couldnt be done... She later admited that ther was a mixed up, thinking I only wanted a balayage when I also needed highlights. On top of that they charged me $250 cause I have long but thin hair. I didnt say anything else cause I understand they used products and took time on me, but definitely not satisfied at all. Dont come here for color change. Wont be returning.

Don’t let the other reviews fool you - THIS PLACE DESERVES 5 STARS. I’m new to the area so I called them and by chance spoke with the owner for an honest opinion about the place. He told me to come see it for myself and I was NOT DISAPPOINTED. I got an excellent fade with a nice trimming on the top with scissors. The owner welcomed me to the shop with great manners and took care of me as I needed. The place was packed with people (14+ stylist working and all busy with clients) Check this place out, you won’t be disappointed. Ps. They maintain a high level of cleanliness, not like a bunch of the other barber shops around Trumbull and Bridgeport that I’ve been hesistant to even step into.

Everybody is friendly and attentive. However, be careful if you want to die your hair. They make you sign a contract saying that they are not responsible if you hair gets damaged, which to me means that they are not professionals. The haircut I got was fine, but they really damaged my hair. Great for haircuts, not too good if you want to change your hair color.

As someone who used a barber for a number of years I was hesitant to try a mall location. My opinion was definitely changed after visiting Prestige salon. The service was great and the selection of hair care products they have is equally as good.

My mother in law went to get her hair blow dried and flat ironed the lady said 33 for blow dry and 10 dollars extra for the flat iron and when she was done she charged her $110 Im appalled I dont know if the lady was racist, but best believe if I was there my mother in law wouldnt of paid that price when I got the same thing done without the flat iron plus a haircut and all I was charged was $33. These stylists should be ashamed of themselves.
