My husband and I are happy patients of Dr Stephanie Cooper and staff. Everyone at Arizona Eye Consultants care about your overall health, not just if you need glasses to correct a vision problem. Exams are very thorough and consults are in depth regarding treatment, options, and further visits as well as annual vision checkups.

When I arrived the office was not very busy, and check in was all by electronic media. I asked if maybe they could schedule an appointment for my father and they said they would accommodate us and surprisingly they had an opening only 45 minutes after my appointment. This was so surprising especially when I finished my appointment the office was packed and there were so many others to be examined. The doctors my dad and I had were very communicative and were very thorough with their explanation of our conditions. They also suggested to my father a solution to one of his sight issues and have scheduled him for a consultation in about a week.

Dr Chu and especially his assistant was very though and concerned of my thoughts of approval of all test results. Very happy

Extremely detailed wellness exam with full results at the end. The practice serves a large number of patients, but they are extremely efficient and professional, so that everything flows smoothly and just about on time. Dr. Levine and his staff are among the best I have found.

Excellent visit. Only delay was to sign in . Once I was signed in, I immediately was started on my evaluation. Once the evaluation was completed, I was taken to see the doctor. He reviewed the results of the evaluation, performed an examination,.then explained the results, listened to my concerns, and answered all my questions. No wasted time!

Dr. Chue seems to always be in great spirits, which makes for a pleasant visit. My teenage son, the patient this time, appreciated the ease of interaction with the doctor. At this appointment, we were particularly thankful for the explanation of Dr. Chue’s more recent practice of having patients with mild near-sightedness only wear glasses for distance, rather than constantly. My son mostly needs his for school, in the classroom, and also for driving at some point. This conversation was helpful. Thank you!

Staff is always pleasant and helpful. Dr Butler is cheerful, gives information in easy to understand language and goes over recent test results. Waiting time was minimal. Highly recommend Az Eye Consultants.

My experience with AZ Eye Consultants was excellent. I was seen promptly at my appointment time and was treated with the utmost professionalism and respect. My doctor was great as were the front desk staff. I wont go anywhere else from now on.

Arizona Eye Consultants is a excellent place to get your eye care. They are very polite and friendly. The office is very clean just a great place all around. I highly recommend this office for all your eye care.

The staff and especially Dr. Muller are very professional and caring. My only problem is the fact that each visit is almost always over 90 minutes with only 10 or 12 minutes with the doctor. Most of the reast is waiting in 2 out of 3 waiting rooms.

I had my first visit with AZ EYE on 09/14/2020. I was taken right in at my scheduled time and given a complete eye exam. My initial technician Belinda knew exactly what she was doing and did not waste any time getting me ready for the eye doctor. DR Cooper examined my tests and made suggestions for me to keep my eyes healthy. I was prescribed new stronger reading glasses and released. They say to allow for 90 minutes for your appointment and mine was 85 minutes and they dont waste any time with you. I felt VERY CONFIDENT that this team knew exactly what they were doing and am VERY HAPPY with the service I received. I recommend them completely.

Our visit with Dr Muller was both pleasant and productive. She is warm and friendly as well as exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, and clear in her explanation of exam procedures and results. We very much appreciate her expertise and abilities. Thank you!

Told me come in 10 minutes early, I did, told me appointment would be 20 minutes. Waited 45 minutes after appointment time I asked why I hadnt been called, 3 receptionists ignored me and gave me no reply. 10 minutes after that I left. Bad bad customer service. Dr Levine is really terrific very educated friendly and knows his stuff. I am truly thankful I found him.Only problem is very busy but said it should lighten his load by getting another Dr in. Wait time was only about 5/10 minutes. Everyone was nice and professional. It did get so busy in the office reception area, it was very difficult to stay socially distant.

If i could give this place 0 stars to the staff, I WOULD. talked to a lady named gloria and she was flat out rude not only to me but a nice young lady sitting at the front desk checking me out. gloria seems to be a manager of some sort but gloria girl was on her phone constantly and not caring about doing a good job to patients there, i noticed. SHE SHOULD BE FIRED. i have never seen someone so rude to other employees.

I think that in this time of our countrys paths dealing with the Corona virus and all other things, I cant understand why people are upset when they have to wait up to 2hours for their appointment. Ths sign on the door says you may be waiting up to 1 to 2 hours due to emergencies and other situations. The wait is worth the wait. There is nothing more important than your vision, 1 to 2 hours is nothing when it comes to your sight.

I was pleased with this location and the staff. I would have liked an on site opportunity to purchase glasses as the downstairs Optical place didnt take my insurance.

Jason Levine is very good. I was very nearsighted.He gave me a double surgery a few years ago, (2008)which did not take much time, and I see him every year to make sure my eyes are in excellent shape. I have had no trouble, and have only to wear glasses for detail work.

This review is for their Speedway location.Went there for a routine contact lens exam.Dr. Muller was very good and professional. The rest of the staff was not.Was told they could order contact lenses for me before my insurance expired and that they would call when the order arrived. After my visit I called twice to make sure they were being ordered and would be billed to my insurance and was told that it would. I show up 2 weeks later for a follow-up and they were not ordered. My insurance expired so there was no way to order at that point.I wouldnt have cared so much if they told me they forgot, but one of the technicians proceeded to lie to my face about not being a licensed distributor and not being able to order in the first place. Best she could have offered me was a trial pair, which I already had. If you couldnt order in the first place you shouldve told me so I could order somewhere else.Thanks to that I now have to pay $150 out of pocket for contact lenses.The doctors there are good and I would give them 5 stars, but the medical staff is not reliable and I would give them 0.

I have very thick corneas which give me high readings for glaucoma checks. My father and aunt had glaucoma so for this reason, I am extremely confident with my care and trust my drs careful exam every year.

Do not go here unless you have a lot of time to waste. Was asked to show up a half hour early, then was finally taken for intake almost an hour after initial appointment time, and then once my eyes were dilated was told there were still 6 -8 people waiting in front of me! Despite there being business cards on display for 12 doctors, they told me Levine was the only one there today.... so I left and will never return. Suggest finding a reputable and professional organization before wasting time here.

I went to a different Nation Wide location because after waiting 3 weeks for my sons glasses I had to call and they told me we dont know what happened to his glasses we have to order again. Never had a short wait to see a doctor at this place. Cataract surgeries went well. However first capsulotomy caused Halos and Starbursts. Second capsulotomy corrected that and now they are gone! However had to pay twice.

They want you to wait 1 to 2 hours AFTER your appointment time to be seen by the doctor. This place is a joke, and they have no respect for your time. I heard another person ask why he has not been seen after waiting for one and a half hours AFTER his appointment time. I asked when I would been seen, and they told me about an hour, after I had already waited for 1/2 to be called back. I walked out after talking to a office manager who told me they tell you on the phone the wait is long. Well they never told me or I would had NEVER made an appointment with them in the first place. She also pointed a sign out to me (attached) tucked into a little corner, that nobody sees, about the long wait time. Arizona Eye Consultants, you should be ashamed and embarrassed about wasting peoples time! Also when you call Serena 327-3487 ext 1014 at the corporate office she will lie to you, and shell tell you they tell you on the phone there are long wait times, and there are signs at the front desk. Yes there was a sign at the front desk in Spanish, and who cares about a sign at the front desk, youve already wasted your time going there!

DR Kim and his staff were all very friendly and helpful. I was in and out much faster than expected, and will be back again.

Theyre fine folks. Its a busy place. However, their register closes hours before their office does, how does that make sense? Wanted me to put my CC info on a paper so that the can charge it the next day and then send me the eye script through the mail....Their staff seemed nice enough, but why make things more difficult than they have to be?

My ophthalmologist, Dr. Levine, is the best. However, I would warn everyone about the outrageous wait times. It is so unnecessary if you schedule the appointments appropriately.

Its a cattle call in this place. You are herded in and out of offices as fast as possible and it leaves you with no time to actually ask questions of the doctor. It seems to be an elaborate assembly line system designed to keep you distracted with the end goal of selling you eye drops.

This is a patient mill. They have no regard for your time. They say an appointment for an annual exam may take 1-1/2 to 2 hours. Maybe so 5 years ago when we started going here.But that has not been true for the last 2 years. They are backed up and try to see 115 patients a day. Waiting rooms are backed up and full. They have at least 3 levels of waiting rooms. An appointment typically takes 4 hours. Maybe longer. The front office staff just keep repeating a phrase that you should expect delays and 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 hours, but when it stretches out longer, they just repeat. Eventually I was shown into an exam room piled high with unopened delivery boxes. They had to remove a half eaten carton of yogurt and empty energy drink. Once you get to see “the doctor” they provide good care however.

Be aware of long waiting time.

Awful. This place is a factory that will consume half your day. They tell every person who arrives, It will be 1.5 - 2 hours for your visit. You arrive on time, wait 90 minutes, get moved to another waiting room for another half hour, get moved to the tiny room where you look into those little machines, and there are 4 other patients in there with you on the all the machines. When you finally get to the doctors, they are kind and thorough, but stay away unless you want to spend half your day at the eye doctor.

The on call doctor took me in on a Saturday and performed minor surgery on the eye the same day. Wonderful, friendly service.

This is absolutely the worst optometrist place I’ve ever been. The staffs don’t know how to operate any of the machines. The wait is 2 hours in the second waiting area (I arrived on time). And then very unknowledgeable optometrist that don’t know how to write a right prescription for glasses. My God. You have one job. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

The most impersonal eye doctor Ive ever been to, and I wont return.4 weeks after my appointment, I cant speak to a human to find out where my missing contacts are, as I was told they would likely be in closer to 2 weeks rather than 4, but either way they are now beyond the window of when they were supposed to arrive.

This place is an utter and complete disaster. First off, no offense to the elderly but when you walk into the office about the youngest person waiting in the lobby is roughly 60.I went in because my left eye contacts prescription seemed to have drifted. I saw Dr. Chue first, after waiting about 2 and a half hours between the lobby, the other lobby inside the service area, and the examination rooms. I brought my (then) current contact lens prescription and explained concisely what I thought had happened (that my left eye prescription had changed). Dr. Chue seemed unable to even calculate my prescription during the exam; his first couple go rounds on the phoropter made my vision far blurrier. He played it off like whoops, I read that wrong, scribbled some gibberish on his notebook and continued his guess and check. I was seeing 20/15 out of my right eye at the time with the lenses I had then.. Dr. Chue proceeded to give me an examination, and to my surprise, his results showed my right eye prescription having changed more than the left.Like the reviewer below, I also requested a case of lenses be ordered before the end of the calendar year so that the coverage could fall under 2016. They failed to make this happen, among other things.They called me a week later and said my trials had arrived, and asked me to schedule an appointment for a follow-up. When I got there it was about 3:00 (appointment was at 3:20). I waited in the lobby until 4:30, they finally called me back to the other waiting room. I waited and waited until almost 5:30, overheard the optometry assistants cursing up and down the hallways about their coworkers, ranting and raving about God knows what -- completely unprofessional.Finally I saw Dr. Muller, and when I put the lenses in I found that the new contact prescription for the right was way worse, and the new prescription for the left was worse as well. I couldnt read s@&t. Dr. Muller tweaked the left prescription, and I simply requested that she revert me back to the old prescription I had for the right eye, which worked.She agreed and told me that I wouldnt have to come in and make another follow-up appointment, but rather just pick up this set of trials.I called and requested that the 2nd set of trials be sent to the office on the west side of town, because the east side office is a disaster, and also very far from my residence. They agreed to do so, however after calling and playing phone tag for a week trying to confirm where the hell my trial lenses were, talking to all the wrong people (seriously, why does a cockamaimie office like this even have a call-answering center?) I was told that my lenses were still sitting on the east side office. I drove all the way out there, picked up the lenses, and found that once again they botched the prescriptions. Both lenses were now the exact same prescription, and although the new left was good, they failed to complete the simple task of reverting my right eye prescription back to what they had written in their notes at the beginning of my first visit!Pathetic timing, bad service, no communication, and these idiots cant even get a prescription right when you spoonfeed them. Now I have to peace meal my prescription request through another provider, because another thing they failed to mention is that they dont even have the capability to order the prescriptions they issue in full cases! If you ask me they should have their licenses revoked altogether. Avoid this place at all costs if possible.I know I will!

I made an appointment with one of the specialists for a surgical consultation MONTHS in advance. Asked for a physical reminder to be mailed so I had a hard copy of the right info. Never recieved it.Arrived at the address given to me over the phone when I made my appointment only to find that it was empty. Wasted a half hour calling the office, getting put on hold, and getting hung up on. I explained my situation before they got a chance to put me back on hold. I informed them that I was at the apparently wrong address that was provided to me; without telling me where they were actually located, they simply told me they hadnt been in that building for 7 years. I told them I never received the appointment reminder I requested so this exact thing wouldnt happen; they told me they tried calling the day before; not only am I a student and therefore dont have time to answer calls at any given time (which is partially why I wanted it mailed to me) but my phone did not reflect a voicemail or even a missed call. I informed them that because of the misinforation and mistreatment I was receiving, I was now 20min late for my appointment. They told me their office was next to the hospital gave no further directions, landmarks, or addresses, and hung up.I show up, now 40min late and sign in. I sign in with my initial time of arrival, an hour prior, and take a seat. I hear the receptionists talking about me being the one on the phone but no no no I was late so I had to wait for everyone else whose appointments were after mine. I walked up to the desk, explained that I arrived where I was told to early, and that its not my fault I was given the wrong address and that my calls wouldnt be handled.I eventually get through to see the specialist who saw me for two minutes, wrote down what I was concerned about, and handed me a surgical referral. I took it to the front desk, they made an appointment, and sent me on my way.They did not inform me of any pre-op tests or procedures or if I needed to fast or anything. I later found out that there were things I needed to get done beforehand and did not have the sufficient time before my appointment to do so. So I called the surgical office to see if I could reschedule because not everything would be done on time. They inform me that this appointment is only a consultation.Had the receptionist who scheduled on my behalf informed me of this little detail it would have saved me a lot of time, stress, tears, and last-minute family planning around a surgery that wasnt actually a surgery.Long story short: maybe if the staff could be bothered with a little more than the absolute bare minimum communication with parents, then this might not have been the worst medical-related experience of my life. Not likely, however, as they set the bar for despicably poor service exteremly high.

Lots of older adults at the clinic. It seemed like a good consultancy to me, when making an appointment you have to go ahead of time since even if you have an appointment scheduled for an hour, they attend as they arrive, which seems correct to me due to the large number of clients served. 👓 The first step is to register, and then do some basic exams with an assistant, they take you to a waiting room and that is when they call you with the ophthalmologist doctor. They have good devices and studies, but for more specific queries they will refer you to another instance, for example, of the retina 🤷‍♀️
