I am a very discerning (yes, demanding) customer, and received estimates from 4 Tucson companies for replacing all 8 windows and the patio door in my 20-year old house. Weathersby has repeatedly high Google ratings and reviews and best of all, they undercut another local window company (also with high Google ratings) with identical brand/series windows by over $1,000 (15% less). I am 100% satisfied with EVERY aspect of Weathersby WIndows, and I watched the install for 2.5 days straight! So I know first hand why Weathersby was the RIGHT CHOICE!Specifically the estimate was professionally and accurately done. Unlike one of the other company estimates, Weathersby did not try to upsell my chosen window/patio door, make/model selection or features. They also did not add to their estimate any extra charges (like a couple other company estimates did) for moving furniture, taking down window treatments (blinds, valances, etc). All items within 6-8 ft of the windows (furniture, chairs, computer, etc) covered with a clear drop cloth. Vacuuming done continuously. With only 2 professional, teamed installers the left hand knew what the right hand was doing.I chose Milgard Trinsic series vinyl windows with optional sound-deadening panes (one pane thicker than the other) for my noisy, corner house near River Rd. What a difference the windows made! The Trinsic Z-bar windows were a perfect match and color, and the caulk was a perfect color match (caulk not made/provided by Milgard). With the Z-bar series, no need to cut down to the original house framing and Tyvex paper, possibly compromising weather-proofing. The 2 highly professional installers (Louie and David) were carefully cutt out the old windows without damaging the outside stucco and several windows were recessed (not flush with the exterior wall), thus requiring surgical precision.As well and most remarkable, Louie (on his own) noted that on the inside, outer edge of some windows where it meets the drywall, it would be aesthetically nicer to add new drywall mud right up to the newly installed window frame before caulking the final window seam, as opposed to running a trim piece to hide the seam between the inner edges of window frame and the drywalled alcove. So Louie called (again, on his own without me knowing or asking) the Weathersby Windows company owner, suggested skipping the quick, fast trim install and doing the drywall mud enhancement with the understanding Louies wages would be adjusted accordingly. The owner approved his request on the phone call (at no additional cost to me) and only later did I find out when I asked why he was drywalling rather than installing the trim pieces. Now that is what I call customer service!I noted they did not take shortcuts, took hardly any breaks, never had to run off for more tools or supplies, or wait for tool batteries to recharge. They were prepared and well stocked every day.Weathersby is a smaller window company and a company with a few employees will not stay in business for long if they do simply satisfactory work. Another reason I chose them. I asked for their BEST installers who have been with them the longest, told the company I will wait as long as that takes, and I seek quality over price. They gave me BOTH quality and value.As a disclaimer, I make the above comments on my own, based on continual first-hand observation of Louie and David over the 2.5 day install, and my few discussions with Darren, the co-owner. BTW.....Darren himself does the measurements to send off to Milgard so the co-owner is involved and his measurements were exacting (as I would expect and demand). The windows and patio door fit like a hand in a glove; no foam to fill gaps, no chicken-wire stucco fix, no oops moments.I was not paid for my review, nor obligated to make this review but I wanted to do YOU the reader a service. Had my experience been good, mediocre, marginal, or poor, I would have still spent the time to leave a review for you, the consumer, to know about Weathersby Windows.

From the initial contact and quoting procedure to the final installation it was a very good experience. The company team was very professional in all aspects and the communication was exceptional. Every schedule went well and a special thanks to the installers Luis and David for two long days of work with an exceptional result. They took out the old metal single pane windows and doors we had and disposed of them. The new Milgard vinyl window and patio door package that were installed are very good looking and energy efficient. When they had finished installing everything was neat trim and totally cleaned up. Other than having to do a minor bit of touch up painting on the stucco (which they advised may have to be done due to pulling out old and putting in new) all was complete and totally to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company and the product they distribute.

Darrin and his crew was very professional and did great quality of work. On time and on budget. I had a 3 panel aluminum slider and picture window installed in a kitchen area where there was just two windows. The difference is amazing. Local company and good people.

I don’t think you can find a better contractor. Ours was a fairly large project - 18 feet of glass doors and two skylights. Weathersby came in substantially lower than other bids, and the quality of materials and labor was still of the highest quality. It seems there is a tendency to high ball this sort of thing.There was some time delay - but beyond Weathersby’s control as near as I could determine. Doors got back-ordered and a dry wall worker got the flu, but once the project got under way, work proceeded efficiently and rapidly. High quality work by all crews and obviously experienced and skilled. Dry wall issue was corrected without question. John Wagner oversaw the project and I would give him a high rating as well.

Great team. Great windows. Wife is thrilled.She is pretty picky and extremely detail-oriented.I dont know if there is even a higher level of praise for something than to say my wife couldnt find anything wrong with it.She has not shut up about how happy she is about the service, the windows themselves, and the company.Like I said, it doesnt get any better than saying the wife is thrilled.

On March 6th, we had a new arched window put in be Weathersby Door and Window in Tucson. The two folks who did the install were Dave and Louie. The product is great. The install went well and the two crew members were very professional. They did an excellent job on the window and cleaning up when finished. The sales person was very rude and unprofessional. He got really offended because I told him I’ll wait until they can send someone that can do the measurements in the house. I’m not going to pay thousands of dollars and not have the right measurements. I called the front office and told them I wanted to cancel and that the sales person was rude and all she said was ok that’s fine. Apparently they don’t need the business.

We had 12 windows replaced on our home. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone for stellar customer service and quality. We were burned by a previous window company and found this one to be completely honest and professional.

Weathersby Windows did a great job removing our old windows and installing our new ones. The work is outstanding, and the crew was very professional during the process. They were also the most competitively priced option for replacements for our entire house (that still had the original windows from 1958). Update:Windows are still perfect a year out!We had one tiny issue and Weathersby sent Milgard out PRONTO!They just replaced a little weather stripping that had come slightly undone - turns out it was just cosmetic. Easy peasy and completely covered by the warranty. Took 5 minutes. And while he was here he took a look at the rest of the windows just since Im here and said wow, this is a great install, Cant beat hearing it right from Milgard!Original:I dont even know where to start...our experience was flawless from start to finish.Diana, Chris, John, and the whole team were incredible.Everyone was knowledgeable and helpful. I spent a month making decisions about ratios for openings, style of window, etc. No one ever made me feel rushed or pressured. They were always available to answer questions.Our windows got here FAST! I barely had time to blink and we were already setting an install date.And the install team were meticulous. I have never in my life seen contractors that careful, skilled, and neat. They made almost no mess, and the mess they did make, they cleaned up! I have also never seen such PERFECT caulk lines. WHAT? How does that even happen??? Caulk is evil! Nope, lovely and perfect, super neat little lines that blend seamlessly into the house.Also, the measurements were perfect - and I mean PERFECT. These windows replaced the original windows from 1961 - steel frame casement windows. I have no idea how Chris measured so exactly - they fit precisely in the openings - no gaps! They were seriously EXACTLY the right size for every single opening.And the windows themselves are amazing. Im so glad we went with Milgard.What a difference. And their prices were competitive and reasonable.I cant say enough good things. I cant even think of anything I would add as a negative - this was an absolutely perfect experience. I thought ripping windows out of my home would be stressful and messy - Weathersby made it easy, fun, and fast! We are so pleased!

Wow! Have had multiple crews out on various remodel jobs and all have been nightmares. But, the Weathersby crew was amazing. The foyr guys worked like a well oiled machine.
