Fun little place!! Husband loves to come here for MTG drafts. Great little bar in the back. My dog loves coming here as well. Everyone is so nice here. Highly recommend :)

Great store to play games. They have tables for use, (Fee but you get the equivalent in drinks/snacks/food) cool atmosphere. Has a Medieval style Tavern in the back where you can get food and adult beverages.

The only thing that would make this place better to me is if their entire inventory were searchable online, with links directly to YouTube videos on how to play these games and links to their respective manufacturing websites. Owner, Im available if you want an IT consultant. 😉

I am not really into most of the games that are sold here but my family is. The staff is always friendly and very helpful when you have questions. They have a huge selection of games and products relating to each of them. In the back, they have a small hallway that connects to a bar of similar interests. Very cool place. I would go back for again. Great place.

Great local gaming place! And if anybody knows me I love local! they just opened the short rest tavern and I have to say that its really nice to have even more of a reason to visit! the staff is great and they have tons of games to play whether it be board games or role-playing games!

Love this place! Not only is it cool to just look around, they let you play games with your friends and have a tavern (The Short Rest Tavern) in the back! You can even roll die to choose a drink which was super fun for my friends birthday. Great people and drinks and a very lovely time. Check it out!

Went into this store looking for a birthday gift for my son. Was met by Micheal who gave excellent customer service. I recommend this store to any gamers into or parents who need assistance finding the perfect gift!

This place is awful. No selection, no information about anything they sell, and they look at you like you shouldnt have come into their store. Theyre also the dumb kind of nerds who cant figure out technology. None of them will ever read this, and their event schedule is months out of date. They dont do events and dont plan to anytime soon. Only drop by to spit on them.

Great local place for tabletop gaming

Great place not only to game but to meet with friends. Staff is responsive, friendly, and receptive to there customers. I like the idea that there is a place in the back called the short rest inn. Pretty original in my opinion.

The staff here is the absolute sweetest. They also all know so much about board games and are excited to share what they know! The variety of games is so expansive and they also let you play a few games at their tables. Ended up walking out with a Magic deck that I love and a cute card game Im excited to try.

Now that Amazing Discoveries got rid of their bulk bins to look through--Tucson Games & Gadgets is getting my loyalty as a transplant customer. They have made it abundantly clear that they appreciate our patronage and were greeted with warm welcomes everytime.Compare that to What would you like to buy? which I could swear Ive been greeted with at the major competitor LGS.

Sept 26 at 11:09 AM, I call in to reserve a product as I am driving on my way to pick up the items. Mike on the other end says, I cant reserve this particular product. I ask how many are available for me to purchase I am on my way in. Mike says there are 5 left.I show up at 11:30 AM, grab the 5 items I called about - as they were not behind a counter or anything and available for customers to grab, and I bring them to the front to pay for the items. Mike behind the counter says with a bizarre and hesitant voice, I can only sell you 3, I reserved the other 2 for.. uh, uh, someone, a friend.Within 21 minutes... Mike told me he had 5 items I was looking for, for sale and that he doesnt take reservations for those 5 items. In the same 21 minutes he reserved 2 of the items to his friend, didnt separate them from the group where they were available for customers to grab and carry to the front to pay for them... and this really hurt me as a customer. The amount of fakeness and betrayal I witnessed from Mike in a span of 21 minutes from the person who was in charge of Tucson Games and Gadgets, it left a nasty taste in my mouth.This was so strange to me... not even a super big deal... it was just shady and weird and I wouldnt want that guy representing my store. I told my wife the story when I got home and she said, OMG I know who you are talking about, I tried asking him a question and he was so involved in staring at his magic cards he completely ignored me. When he finally helped me he was rude and seemed like a A-hole.You cant make this s**t up.

Im glad to see this type of store is still around. If you have or want to try playing pen and paper roll playing games where you can immerse yourself into a world full of imagination, I suggest checking this store out.

My husband and I are hooked on this place. We originally were going to the Broadway location but were excited to have another store open closer to us. The orcs/team members give great recommendations for games and they frequently have specials. We had an absolute blast at their Settlers of Catan tournament and hope to have a rematch soon!

Awesome place that has an amazing bar in the back, appropriately called the Short Rest Tavern. Fun is to be had and customer service is outstanding!

From my experience, this a not a shop to go to to do events. Every time I have gone there the event just didnt happen and just ended up wasting my time. It probably has whatever you want to buy but sometimes the staff just isnt at the counter. Its a shame since its one of the only stores by me and I want to play magic.

We ended the hands-on help we received a the Pokemon game night. Very family friendly and even the other players were super nice helping our kid learn a few tips about Pokemon gameplay. I really enjoyed the atmosphere in here as it was very mellow and everyone was having a really nice time.

Recommended if you like board game thats where you should be and there are some free to use board games and a nice choice of really interesting board games

This place is a hidden gem!! Lots of great variety, the staff have suggestions for types of games youre looking for and their experiences with them, and the best part is you can rent games! We are moving out of Arizona soon, and can hopefully find a game store as great as this one. Tucson Games & Gadgets is THE game store.

Great place for almost all nerd things. They are slim on the magic singles but the staff is friendly, there is so many board games available, and the selection of niche miniature games and card games is pretty damn good too. Highly recommended to at least check out if you have some kind of gaming interest

I love taking kids here. We spend couple hrs playing virtual reality games, chess, and board games. And of course they have snacks drinks and very clean restrooms. I want to give a special thanks to Michael. He is very respectful and inviting to everyone walking through the door. In every review I like to write things that can be better, not here. I really cant make other employees to be like Mike. Thanks this place is lucky to have him.

They have the worst customer service for a game store, if you are there to but magic singles Id just look else where. They dont aim to help you at all and the store isnt very family friendly. Would not recommend it.

Great and clean store. Plenty of board games for sale. I came in mostly for figurines and dice for dungeons and dragons and they have a great selection along with rule books and guides. This spot even has a board for people to advertise looking for dms or looking for groups for a few different games! That was awesome! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They have table top games to play in store as well as a PS4 set up for rent to play VR games.

Great place to get good deals as well as being able to play Games. Store however, has issues with certain employees who make the store uncomfortable for women. My sister refuses to come back due to uncomfortable situation. Some employees should not be there. Store also no longer sells what originally drew me there. New unnecessary rules affecting community. I hope to see a return to the store I love.

Usually has whatever tabletop game supplies you want, if not when you come in then the employees at the store are very helpful about whatever youre looking for.

In my opinion, the second best game store in Tucson (second only to their Broadway location). Good selection, fair prices, a good and growing stock of Magic cards, and a gamer lounge with classic video games.If only it werent in the mall. :)
