I live up towards Sedona area. I’ve been looking for a handgun for awhile now. While my wife and I were in Tucson area I decided to stop into Diamondback. They have a great selection of guns the staff there are awesome and helpful. I purchased my New hand gun from there great prices. I’ll definitely purchase from them again.
I visited Saturday and they were excellent at helping me with my 6.8. Today I went back and the gun smith mounted and bore sighted my new scope for me. These guys are awesome! Especially since there gunsmith helped me on a Saturday for my first visit! So many gunsmiths are closed Saturday or saying they arent taking anymore customers. I trust Diamondback and encourage anyone to visit here for anything they need PERIOD! VERY WONDERFUL STAFF! I will be going back soon! One stop shop for almost everything! Side note: I was informed they couldnt order a barrel I need for one of my rifles. I can understand because some customers dont understand that delivery times cant be guaranteed due to a shortage of components everywhere in the US...its nuts! Everyone on the net is out of the barrel I need with no certain time frame of availability for months. Thank you Diamondback for everything! Ill always be an understanding loyal customer!

Diamondback is excellent. I shop there and I train in their classes. Everyone has been super friendly and they are all very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them for your purchase and training needs.
They have excellent customer service every time I come here. I have bought guns from them and had guns shipped to them. I also took a conceal carry class with Grimm yesterday and he did an amazing job and I actually learned a lot.

Had the awesome pleasure of doing some brief training with these guys.100% with my trip up from the valley. Ben and Grim are outstanding in the classroom and out on the range. They were extremely accommodating to my scheduling mishaps, and extremely communicative of expectations and in general throughout the entirety of the 3 day process. They pack in a plethora of info in a short time extremely effectively. The store itself has a great selection, abundant and helpful staff as well as extremely competitive pricing on everything. I highly recommend checking out their training and their huge selection of stuff in store. I look forward to signing on for more courses with these stand up dudes. They run a great operation.
DIAMONDBACK CONTINUES TO PLEASE!!!I dropped by today, (Sunday), after misplacing the rollpin for the gas block on my rifle.The helpful gentleman that greeted me as I walked in immediately had a parts person locate the correct rollpin for my application. He then asked his gunsmith to install the part on my rifle. You can tell this is the case for how many customers are constantly in the store.The service in my opinion is what sets this company apart from others like it in Tucson. The staff is not only knowledgeable, but they are extremely helpful. What a great service they do. I needed a gunsmith and he was the only person to help me. Everyone else was to backed up, Kevin fixed my revolver in under a hour at an extremely reasonable price. Large selection and very knowledgeable staff as well. The whole place is just a real class act. I wish everyplace ran their business like this place.
I wanted to put a red dot sight on my pistol. Not knowing much about them I asked an employee. He seemed very knowledgeable on the subject. Next step was You Tube. I ordered a sight and managed to strip a screw. Took the slide down to them and they were able to get the screw out. I asked about another pistol, not optics sight ready, and he suggested another gun smith shop that could do the job for me.
Would recommend to all my friends and family really was a breath of fresh air. Carlo assisted us and helped us immensely. Would give 100 star if I could. Will be bringing all my business here originally went to sng tactical but I would never buy there and im glad I came here instead. Thank you. Really nice store, good selection of firearms inspite of the shortages we are going through currently. Lots of accessories and magazines (most notably for ar style rifles) and good prices. Really friendly workers there at the store willing to help you find what you are looking for.
Have been coming here since they were at their prior location around the corner. Bought a new handgun yesterday, and later the same day, realized the sight was damaged. I went back the next day, talked to Stan about the problem. He took it to the boss and in 30 minutes it was swapped out with a equally comparable sight. No question or static, like you get at other shops around town.They stand behind what they sell, and I will still be spending far more money than the wife would be happy about (if she knew!) at this place.

Hi EveryoneI took a private handgun lesson yesterday with Jacob.Jacob is great.. he is knowledgable, helpful and stresses safety during the lesson. I have a slight disability and he made me feel very comfortable.This is the 2nd private lesson I have taken with Diamondback.. the 1st time I took with the other instructor named Grimm . He was just as amazing as Jacob. Both these guys were great and I feel very comfortable to recommend either one for the person looking for a private handgun lesson.
Made a purchase of a firearm, staff were short, acted like they had too much to do, then even with a purchase no ammo allowed to be sold, when two people in front of me had it in their hands. 2nd Amendment, Sportsmans, you name it gives a better experience. Wont get my business or families business again.
Needs improvement. Overpriced guns andoverinflated staff. If they knew as much as the think they do, it would be incredible. 2nd amendment is much better.
I love this store. The staff are GREAT! They can make custom kydex holsters which is perfect for left handed peeps where the market is tight. I had them make 2 for me, both are holding up to a lot of use! Never had an issue here!

Stopped in on New Years Eve, the store was pretty busy, but I was greeted very quickly. I wish I caught the guys name that helped me out, but I didnt. I was asking if they could press on a rear night sight on my new G3C I had just purchased a few weeks ago. The salesman took it back to ask the gunsmith to check. He came out about 5 minutes later with the sight installed! Better yet, there was no charge! I tried to tip them both, but he insisted on no tip needed, so I am leaving a 5 star review for their awesome service. I will be back! Thank you so much!
It would be nice that Daimonback supported the customers who support Diamondback on daily bases. Not all of us need two boxes 9mm. With that said why not allow us to buy two boxes of our choice. We are the ones who stand out front rain or shine each and every day.
Definitely one of, if not the best gunshops in Tucson. Have bought firearms and accessories, have had firearms transferred in and out, and have had gunsmithing work completed here. They do great work, are knowledgeable and willing to help. Definitely recommend.

I have been a customer for some time and have not been hassled before about wearing masks as I have a medical condition that makes it difficult for me to wear a mask for more than a few minutes. Today there were 2 other customers in the store and I was socially distanced but was told per store policy I had to wear a mask. They provided me one but I had to cut my time short and left as I was unable to breathe with the mask on. Unfortunately, they lost a high dollar purchase and my respect. I may return as a regular customer if they respect the medical condition exemption. Per the county order you must wear a mask when it is not easy to socially distance. This store is large enough. Also. Please review section 2.b. of the 2020-96 resolution

Took a slide of a Springfield xd mod 2 40cal for my boyfriend to have the rear slide removed. I forgot to ask for the guys name that helped me. He was nice and didn’t charge me for the removal. Great and quick service. Thanks
I buy my pepper spray here. Mine is expired so a trip to the East side soon for more. Ive bought handcuffs and a case in the past. I went in with a C02 BB gun, sorry, they dont fix those. The staff is helpful when you have their attention. My pic is about the same as their cover pic but here it is. This is a fun store to just look and if you wish, buy all you want. I was in there with the Co2 gun and accidentally dropped it and it went flying! I was all, like, great! Throwing my GUN! Too funny, no one feaked

This place does not follow the mayors mask mandate for the employees! But goes around demanding customers wear one. They even have signs up saying this! Cashiers not wearing masks and the area is open accept for a small plexi glass they stand behind. Early this week a cashier with no mask on had her daughter doing school in a corner with no mask on. Today cashier and another employee had no masks on and standing 1 foot apart at register. The mask mandate requires everyone to wear a mask! If you are going to demand customers wear one then follow your own damn rule and require all your employees to wear one! They need to be fined for being in violation of the masks simply because they are hypocrites.

Diamondback police supply has always been amazing..I remember going to get fitted for my Kevlar here when I was a JPO. When I went to buy my first and only firearm in 2010 they were so amazing to me. 11 years later when I needed to get information so I could get my firearm returned since it was illegally taken and has been held by the Chatham County Sheriff Dept in violation of law commited by Thomas Bass in October 2018.. they were so kind to provide me with the information they had. Thank you very much. Despite not being able to travel I am so grateful for your help today.
I am new to the gun business and went here to look at some weapons. The help was very informative and patient with me. There was no pressure at all to buy anything. When I finally found a weapon that I felt comfortable with they left it up to me to decide again no pressure. Licensing went very easy and the entire experience was great.I now purchase all my supplies there and find all the employees to be very helpful and friendly.Ken
I went in and asked for help with a gun I have I thought was broken instead of saying I need a lot of parts for it they showed me what was wrong and fixed it fir me their extremely helpful and a great environment I wish I remembered the names of the people that helped me but everyone in there is amazing

Not impressed. Basically for tacticool fanbois, hunters and marksman are wasting their time here. 2 times I attempted to do business and was passed off to a fella who was full of nonsense info. I watched him fumble through attempting to look up a value of a pistol (was told he was their expert on antiques....as a former curator of a national firearms museum, he most definitely did not know what he was attempting to talk about. Took that weapon to Frontier and completed transaction there without problem or confusion.). Then when I recently asked about transferring a weapon, was again passed of to the same fella...who rambled off some useless info and directed me to some resource that sold junk level mil surp...not high end weapons like the one I was transferring (and am now receiving through another local shop called Murphys). Absolutely useless.

I called and spoke with Tony who said bring it in, I brought it in and they took a whole second to remove it, didn’t even think to charge me.. amazing service . Thank you all again.
I came in to purchase a firearm with my son. We found a used gun and wanted to purchase it. It couldn’t be purchased till the next day because they had to hold It for a certain period of time. I filled an application out and was told to come back anytime between 10-6 the next day to get it. I called to get the total amount needed and the manager was adamant that it wasn’t there store I went to and that’s not how they do things. I went in person to speak with the same sales rep and the manager came out and told me they sold the weapon and shredded my application that morning (Even though there was a note saying to hold it till close) he blamed me and said I should have paid for it the day prior even though I was told I couldn’t pay for it. I purchased a gun here prior and was ignored for about 15 min when walking in, same experience the second time. An apology for the mistake would have been nice, offering a comparable firearm in the same price range 500-600 would have been nice as well. I was told I could have 20$ off a 800$ gun which was nothing like the one I wanted originally. Mind while I was there another customer told me he was going threw something similar and recommended I go somewhere else because this was the norm.IN REGARDS TO YOUR RESPONSE——I appreciate your apology, but I assure you I knew it was a GLOCK I put on hold and when asked if there was another gun I would consider that’s where the other gun came into play only after I went into the shop. I went into the shop because the gentleman was adamant that I didn’t even go into your shop the day prior. He only figured it out after asking the employee I spoke with. The gentleman there that recommended I go somewhere else saw how terrible I was being treated by your manager. I can also assure you that he never apologized only blamed me for not paying for the gun and knowing your policies.
Far and away the best gun shop in southern Arizona. I’ve been shopping here for over 15 years (they had a different location then) and have never walked out of the store with a bad impression. The staff is always attentive, knowledgeable, and patient. The upper management and owner(s?) are eager to make sure their customers are well served. I bought my first firearm from them and to this day I see them treat first time buyers and seasoned collectors alike with the utmost respect. If they don’t have what you’re looking for in store, they can get it at a competitive price, especially when you factor in shipping and transfer fees from online vendors. 10/10, will shop here for as long as they’re in business.

In March of 2019, my father passed suddenly. As a part of settling his estate, an appraisal of his gun collection was necessary. I contacted Diamondback Shooting Sports and Doug was more than willing to help with the appraisal. Shane and Jim were tasked with carrying out that appraisal. I couldnt be happier with the professionalism, courtesy, respect and depth of knowledge both Shane and Jim exhibited during this difficult time. They were conscious of a very tight time frame and were diligent in evaluating the condition of each piece, placing a realistic value based on that evaluation. They provided a typed list with the manufacturer, model, caliber, condition, serial number and price when they finished. I cant express in words how grateful I am to Doug, Shane and Jim for their dedication and hard work they placed in valuing my fathers collection. I used this FFL for a transfer. First time using this FFL. The process is a lot easier and quicker at this FFL. You fill out a FFL transfer form online on thier website. You input all the info on the form. So you will need info from FFL you are transferring from. Once the form is complete and submitted, Diamondback did the rest. They contact the FFL it is coming from if need be. I will definitely use this FFL again. There is a line in the morning for ammo. DONT FORGET YOUR MASK. I stood in line for 2 hours and realized I forgot my mask so i went for 30 seconds to get it out of my car and when I returned a lunatic in line started screaming at the top of his lungs at me that I was cutting in line. I started to tell him that Id been standing there for 2 hours and he started screaming again. A grown man, acting like a two year old for 2 boxes of ammo. Once inside the staff is proffesional and friendly. Great assortment of parts and optics and really everything. Definitely will return to this shop.

I went in there today because I thought my recently purchased revolver had a manufacturers defect that required it to be returned to be inspected. I was assisted promptly. They gave me the option to have the gun smith take a proper look at the firearm to try and resolve the issue, which would save me money on shipping and transfer fees. Kevin, was awesome. Very knowledgeable and ended up resolving the issue I had. He patiently listened to the questions I had about the gun answered and gave me advice on how to care for the firearm properly. I will definitely be going back.
I have purchased guns and parts for guns and they were always happy to help. I bought some night sights for my XD and they were happy to help get them installed, I dont remember what they charged but it was around $20. Took the gun out and was spot on. Nice work all around.

I went to Diamondback 6/4/20 to buy an AR rifle, ammo, and down the road some handguns and shotguns. I need to build my inventory so I would have been a long time customer with a lot of sales for them for years to come. I walked into the store and no one greeted me or came over to ask what I was looking for, but I did see a lot of sales people just standing around doing nothing. I went over to the counter where the rifles are and was looking at the rifles and turned around and a sales person, who was doing nothing, looked at me like, What? You think Im going to come over there and help you? What kind of store doesnt want to make sales? I dont get it. So then I went over and looked at their ammo area and was a little surprised to see how little ammo they have. They didnt even have 20 ga shotgun shells. So I tried again and went over to the rifle counter and stood there a long time while the sales people stood around with dumb looks on their faces. Then I went over to a counter where a sales person was - doing nothing of course - and he ran in the back to shoot the breeze with another co-worker doing nothing. They need to hire people that understand customer service and understand what it means to be in sales. They could have gotten a ton of money off of me today and in the future but I guess they dont really care about sales, which is very strange to me. I will give the owner some free advice now: Sales are the lifeblood of a business. You have to know how to screen employees before they are hired and make sure you are hiring employees that understand customer service and sales. If a customer walks into your store you dont ignore them. You greet them, welcome them, and see if you can help them with something. Now youve established something right off the bat to launch from for a sale. To just ignore customers is amazingly insane. Why are you even there? What is your purpose? Of course Im taking by business elsewhere where they actually want customers.

I’m consistently disappointed with their sales floor and lack of customer service. Most of the people they have working their are not knowledgeable. Used them as an FFL one time, took them weeks to fax necessary paperwork (I did everything in my part) to the company I was buying from. Went to pick up my purchase once it arrived. Employee went to the back to grab it, waited 15mins and he came out empty handed... asked him if he grabbed the order, he apparently forgot and said “oh yeah”, turned around and went back to get it. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
Bought a consignment 300 blk. Gun was a lemon but they went out of their way to make it right. Appreciate a business that backs what they sell.Have bought 4 new glock handguns and a used shotgun from them. And never had an issue.
When I arrived, there was a line of dozens of people out the door due to the virus scare. When I finally got inside, I found a store with very little inventory and a whole lot of anxious shoppers. The employees looked downright exhausted from dealing with the rush, and they were doing their best to answer questions from everyone. I dealt with five different people and they were all incredibly kind and took the time to help me choose something from the limited stock. I managed to walk away with a rifle, ammo, a bit of peace of mind.

Came in to shop for and purchase my first AR. I’ve owned a lot of guns in my life but never an AR (aside from the military). I explained my circumstances to them and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. At the end of the day they I left with a new rifles and few accessories. The prices were reasonable, there’s a ton of inventory to chose from and the vibe was good. Looking forward to my next visit. Excellent crew🤙🏾

I recently bought a suppressor through Diamondback and they were extremely helpful throughout the whole process. I spoke with Doug mostly and he was more than happy to answer all of my questions. If you are need anything firearms related (including a suppressor) I really recommend Diamondback. I have bought other stuff from them in the past and its always a good experience.
If you are new to guns or even have some questions about anything related to the topic this is your place. The staff here are more then kind they make you feel like you are at home and are always more then happy to help you out. Picked up my rifle the other day and needed some help with a few attachments and they helped me put it on right there in the store same day and for no charge. I also came in earlier today with a few questions about my rifle and same thing no charge they took care of me right away and told me how to use certain things and what is best for cleaning. I came in wanting to purchase a specific handgun. I was told they had none in stock. That’s when the guy helping me turned his back on me and walked away. I wasn’t done. I had follow up questions I wasn’t allowed to ask. Guess I wasn’t his kind of customer. Pretty dismissive. I’m sure this isn’t the norm overall, but just know that if you shop here, you might not be worth their time.
Went through Diamondback for a FFL transfer. Ive always wanted an AR, and of course it happens to be the same time everyone is panick buying weapons and ammo. Made the process longer than normal but completely understandable and the store seems to be handling it very well(aside from ammo shortage). The men who helped me seemed very busy and probably exhausted from the surge of business, yet they maintain composure and professionalism and I can respect that. Ill be back.
Their awesome, I always go there for my gunsmithing needs. If theyre not busy they will always start the gunsmithing as soon as they receive it. They also have a point system when you get 10,000 point you get a free hand gun. They have good military and LE discounts. Overall good place to shop.
A little of everything, Loved it
I got three firearms from this store so far. I have bought a firearm in their store, on their website, and chose Diamondback to receive a firearm from a third party service. Each time has been a pleasant experience, even with the higher traffic they have due to COVID-19. Any question I had inquired through email, I have received responses within the same day. Ill have to admit that I was impatient with receiving my firearm and e-mailed Diamondback every day for when I could pick my item up since it was my first time ordering through a third party, but any question I had was responded to and given clarification. Lastly, I like the fact that when I was in the store waiting to pick up my firearm, they had an employee go around and ensure everyone had been helped. I will continue to support Diamondback for all my firearm needs and thanks to the employees at Diamondback Shooting Sports for making it possible to do so in these strange times.
Not impressed at all. Went in 2 days in a row to buy and cant even get a employee to acknowledge me. Business must be good to just ignore people. Going to second ammendment guns instead. Would give 0 stars if I could.
Just went through the CCW course last weekend at Diamondback Shooting Sports. Ben Anderson was the teacher for the class and he did a great job. The 7 hour class flew by since Ben made it interesting with great real life stories and videos. I will probably sign up for his other classes since this one was so well put together/presented.
FingerPrint card was cheap.....for MMJ caregiver.....but riddled with issues. Eagle in Tucson comes to your home...they know what they are doing. These guys would rather fight then get the job done.

I went in today to buy a revolver. The associate helping me, Stan, was very knowledgeable and worked to make sure I would be happy with my purchase. He showed me various models, listened to what was important to me, explained the features of each gun I looked at and helped me make the choice that was right for me. He helped with the selection of ammo, a gun sleeve, and other items. I felt very confident about my purchase then and now. I will come back to Diamondback for future purchases.
Fil was the best! He sold me my first gun and took the time to explain all options. He walked me through the whole process and he really cared. Im a customer for life! Ill be taking classes there! Cant wait!
They have always been great place for those of us who started with the owners worked at Jensens. They take great care of the first responders and the LEOS in the area! The staff is the greatest!

My husband and I are newbies with firearms, but we felt welcome the very first time we stepped into Diamondback. Everyone there is always so helpful, most especially Kevin and the owner Jim. They dont mind taking the extra time to explain something to a couple that is just getting involved in this field. Even if our questions make us feel embarrassed they brush it off like its no big deal and turn our desire to ask questions from folks that have experience as a sort of respectable quest for knowledge. This has always made my husband and I feel more comfortable to seek out guidance again in the future, which is important when dealing with firearms. Everyone at Diamondback is willing to help you learn how to be safe and feel comfortable with our purchases. They also dont mind helping us obtain general knowledge on how to use what you already have, no matter where you purchased it. We have even taken the concealed carry course there and felt it was very informative and highly recommend it. Over the past couple years we have been going to Diamondback with our kids we have NEVER had a bad experience. Weve done transfers and its always worked out well. Even the cashier Martha is super friendly! Our family is one happy customer.
First time customer. Went in on a whim today and picked up a couple of boxes of ammo and was directed to their website to order a part they didn’t have on-hand. After viewing their website I noticed they had a better selection of ammo then offered in-store. Wanting to order more, but also feeling regret buying the previous sub-par boxes earlier, I called hoping to be able to return/exchange the ammo bought earlier in the day. After a bit of back and forth with management they decided they wouldn’t accept the ammo I just bought earlier that day, quoting “liability”, to which I would say, a simple visual inspection would show that the condition of the ammo was the same as it was 3 hours ago when I bought it. I understand having policies in place and so forth, but a little consideration and situational awareness goes a long way. Needless to say I wont be placing that online order, and take my future business elsewhere.
JD was super helpful. Resolved my issue quickly, demonstrated his knowledge (so I learned something) and verified the issue resolution with the gunsmith in-store for safetys sake (issue was related to safety switch). Give em a raise! :-)

Why do you shop on the Internet for weapons/ammo? Because its cheaper? WRONG - I learned my lesson. I had a rifle shipped to Diamondback and when picking it up, I bought a bunch of magazines and a Magpul vertical grip. I went home and checked my favorite on-line stores and all 3 were more expensive (b4 shipping) than Diamondback. Like 15-20% more expensive than Diamondback. Learned my lesson. I have always appreciated their friendly, top notch, technically proficient service. I wont be shopping anywhere else!!! Doug, your store and team are amazing!
VERY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE.... UPDATE scroll to bottom.It starts well at least. I had a nice experience purchasing a new firearm from David today. At least I believe his name was David, he was a large man. Either way he had amazing customer service and was extremely respectful and quite humorous, which was appreciated. However, my wife and sister in law had a negative experience. There was an employee, a man with glasses and grey facial hair that pushed my in law. She was standing in a isle entertaining our children whom were behaving themselves quite nicely I might add. He had zero manners and physically put a hand on her and moved her aside. I was greatly disappointed of the whole ordeal. Had I known of what happened I would NOT have made my purchase. I learned of what happened only after we left. They were both greatly disappointed with what happened. Sadly I may not be back for future purchases. Furthermore, I have read at least a review or two that have described the same person for the main reason of their dissatisfaction. I would have rated Diamond Back a solid 5 stars had it not been for the man in question. I would like to recommend Diamond Back to all of my friends and family. However, I cannot in good faith do so with my own family being treated in such a manner.I received a call personally from the owner which included an invite back to Diamond Back. He wanted to extend a personal apology from both himself and the employee in question. Perhaps we may learn that the whole situation was a misunderstanding? I would like to think that is the case. I greatly appreciate the call and will be stopping back in next time I am in the area.
Dont know who the older gentleman was at the door today, March 22nd around 3:30 pm, but he is the reason your shop is receiving a 1 star review!I had not even been into your store and this is the type of review you are getting. Now I understand the world is going crazy at the moment and quite frankly I wanted to see if this is true. As well I have been on the edge of purchasing my first AR built or buying a kit and building. When this comes up I like to visit a shop, look around and do my research and ask questions, if the shop is well informative and can sell me, usually I will leave with something. Well not today, I called my friend and asked him about Diamondback and said they are the only store open today and he recommended them with excellent service (he has bought 2 ARs from this location). When we arrived it was barely 3:30 pm, we parked my truck and walked to the door. To my surprise a gentleman held the door open and I figured it was respectful and kind due to the virus protocol. As we approach him, no welcoming words just straight to the point asking us what are we there for?? Caught me off guard so responding, wanting to see if we can get 9mm ammo. He replied, nope we dont have any. Then I responded, how about some ARs? His response, nope none. Then again I ask, what about some AR build kits? Again, Nope only lowers. At that point my friend and I felt awkward, never have we been questioned why we are going to a shop, and the older gentleman came off rude. At that point we decided to walk away and leave. As we left we noticed another gentleman approach the store (older than us) and he allows him into the store, no confrontation. Dont know if we witnessed Ageism today or what but honestly its bothered me all day. Why wouldnt you want me to enter your store, look around and most likely leave with merchandise? I usually visit Trail Boss Outfitters and somehow get talked into leaving with something! I am impulsive, like to be sold and honestly wanted to visit your store to get talked into purchasing something and now you lost my business! I may visit again but for now Ill just continue my business with Trail Boss Outfitters in Vail. They may be a drive but they are family owned and treat everyone with respect and have great quality merchandise as well as knowledge.
