Ive had several hearing tests over the years. I feel this was the most complete test I have ever had. The audiologist was easy to work with and explained each test prior to proceeding with it. She gave a very complete overview of my current hearing issues at the end of the session.

Dr Julia was excellent. She persevered over some clogged ear canals, then conducted baseline hearing test. All is well now. Very competent and personable. Appointment was reasonably soon, and the office ran on schedule. All paper work handled online prior to presenting.

A very competent audiologist informed me what would occur before going ahead with the tests. She thoroughly explained the results of my test and what options I had. I would return to Oro Valley Audiology again for testing.

This group is very professional, efficient, and pleasant. I bought new hearing aids from Dr Km 3 years ago and have been very pleased with the service. She and Dr Copeland are always helpful with whatever peculiar issues I have like squeakiness or echoes. Darcy in the office answers all my questions. When I arrived at Oro Valley Audiology, I was told that the power had Just gone out. Having driven from the far east side of Tucson, I was thinking I would need to go home and come back another day. However, the creative staff said they could try to do an abbreviated test. We sat in a room where a window provided light. Dr. Kim used an iPad to conduct the test which she recorded manually on a piece of paper. It worked! and I was able to see the results. She then talked with me about a rechargeable hearing aid about which I had inquired. It was a very good appointment and while the power came on just as I was ready to leave, the server was not as quick to reboot. I made an appointment to return and have a hearing aid fitted for me to try. I was impressed with the service provided under such abnormal conditions!

I love Oro Valley Audiology! When my old audiologist retired, I was sure Id never find anyone to replace him. But my new audiologist, at OVA, is even better than the old one. She is young, savvy, a great techie, and very compassionate. She understands how important my volunteer naturalist work is to me, and has made a birding program for my hearing aids! Today she even took the time to download some cicada sounds to make sure that was programmed in there too. This is a great place. Try it. You wont be disappointed.

I really wanted to like this place since it is close to me. I am new here so I had called to see if I could make an appointment since I was having trouble with my hearing aid. I called and they informed me that they had a walk in clinic from 11am to 12:30pm. I went in and told them what was going on, I was told I needed a new tube so I had that done. I also noticed they had changed he hook BUT didnt realize it till that evening, that my hearing aid was cracked from when they changed the hook. My hearing aid was whistling before I went in but it was worse when they fixed the tube. I told them that it was still whistling so they suggested that I needed a new mould. I had told them that the one I had was fairly new and had it made exactly a year ago. Then they stated that too much air was possibly getting through which was causing the internal feedback to whistle. I also let them know that my hearing aid was cracked, and was told that it was the seal that came loose.I paid and had an ear mould made. Went back the following week, the mould was a completely different one that I had ever had. I put it in and stated that it was STILL whistling. At that point, they told me I could leave it with them to send in but it would cost me $350!I had called back the following day after getting my mould made because they didnt get a phone number for me and I also inquired on if they took my insurance to have a hearing test, I had called back and the receptionist told me that they didnt at that location but did at the Tanque Verde location.Fast forward, I decided to go to a different audiologist because I personally felt I wasnt getting the care I should have. I never received a call back to schedule an appointment OR to see how the mould fits. I had to have my new audiologist call in to the company to get the right mould sent since it was under warranty. Thankfully that was resolved but my hearing aid snapped in half, the hook came off the behind the ear part of the hearing aid. Never in 20 years have I had that happened!

I have had the good fortune to have found Oro Valley Audiology 9 years ago. I have had very professional and caring help regarding all aspects of my hearing problems. All members of the office are courteous and helpful. Dr. Melanie Dunne has replaced Dr. Lamfers and I find her just as professional and knowledgeable regarding Cochlear Implant mapping and associated hearing problems. I would recommend Oro Valley Audiology to anyone needing advise regarding their hearing situation and solutions. Best in Tucson.
