My visit was great from the moment I walked in! Mr. Quinton greeted us right away. He showed me how to properly choose a pillow and what a difference that made! I was also impressed with the mattress cover demonstration, which of course I bought for my new Sealy Norman mattress! The entire experience was very pleasant, the store was very inviting and the staff was brilliant. I also received a good discount from ongoing promotions which was an added bonus. Ive purchased at this location before and very happy to be a returning customer!

This is my second time to purchase a mattress from Mattress Firm, both times on line.At first, I was very unsure that I was doing the right thing, purchasing an important item like this, sight unseen.I had such a good experience the first time that I didn’t hesitate this time.The salespeople are knowledgable and helpful and the delivery crew did a perfect job of set up. My mattress is the best I’ve ever slept on!

Wife and I came to find a good mattress and was helped by Crystal. She took us through a range of common sleep needs, let us sample a few choices to get an idea. Financing check went well and their programs are very fair as long as you got your personal finances in order first. After we knew or approval range we tried a few more until we settled pretty close to Crystal’s First suggestion. Had no problems and was a nice experience. We felt like our personal needs were heard and we were able to find a mattress that will last us a while. Very satisfied.

For the past two weeks I’ve been having difficulties securing a mattress delivery from an order placed on Mattress Firm’s online website. After a failed delivery attempt, my pillows were delivered but my mattress was essentially left in limbo and no one I contacted about this issue seemed to have a clue as how to resolve it. I decided to try going to one of the local stores for assistance not expecting much. I was greeted by Mr. Ryan Hinkle at the door with ample kindness and he had the problem promptly resolved in less than 10 minutes. The guy absolutely knows his stuff (both about mattress and logistics) and it shows. Thanks to him there will be no more headaches and I’ll finally have my mattress delivered. Today I went in with a challenge. I needed a high quality Queen sized pillow top mattress within a budget that I could take home that day. She really worked with us to find the best mattress and accessories for us, get us discounts where she could, and help set up a delivery time that worked for us. Few days ago, I made a purchase, and the experience during the purchase was exceptionally great. The store staff answered all my questions one by one with great detail. It is rare to meet a staff that has great qualities to assist a customer. She was very friendly, understanding, and knowledgeable. I was NEVER pressured to make a purchase. She rather told me to take my time and only make a purchase if I was sure that the mattress meets all my needs.One shortcoming is that when there are lot of customers at once, the wait time will seem really long and may seem like this place have bad customer service. My advice is to make a visit at a time when there will be few customers or make a appointment if possible. I highly recommend this place. When coming in for a visit, ask the staff for big sale items and promotions. I want to thank the staff, and hope that future customers are also taken care of with the best possible service.

She even helped me change the size of the mattresses when I realized I ordered the wrong size and I called her.THE DELIVERY:You read that right! They not only delivered the new mattresses to my home at my convenience, but they picked up the old ones and carried them off for me.The communication regarding the delivery was impressive. They contacted me to confirm the day and timeframe they would arrive, then again to let me know they were close, and upon arriving. The delivery men were very friendly, extra clean, and efficient. By extra clean I mean they had special blue things that they put on their shoes and a mat to stand on once they were on my porch to ensure they didnt bring in any dirt. They were really quick and efficient bringing in the new mattresses and taking out the old ones.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SHOP ELSEWHERE!About a year and a half to two years ago, we decided it was time to upgrade our mattress. We had chosen Mattress Firm because of its large brand name and reputable company. However, we have been far from happy with them so far especially with the Tuscaloosa location. The sales woman was quick to get us in and out of the store and make a sale. She really didnt pay much attention to our needs and what we were looking for in a bed. We had to decide ourselves and chose one that met our budget well and seemed to be the right fit. The delivery of the mattress was a disaster. They were supposed to come in between 4-8pm on a Sunday. They didnt show up during the scheduled time and did not provide a phone number to follow up with. Since it was scheduled past store hours, we were unable to follow up with the store location as well. The delivery truck showed up at 11:00pm!! They were running behind schedule and still had two more stops to do. It was completely unacceptable. We went to talk to the sales rep the next day who was not apologetic about the situation at all nor felt that anything else could be done to remedy the situation. Luckily, the manager was there to take over the conversation and gave us a discount for the inconvenience. I still wasnt overly thrilled but it helped.Fast forward to now - we are now having to exchange for a new bed and pay the difference for a new one. The bed we bought is the worst quality bed that we have ever had! It sags all throughout and is lumpy. Looking at the website, these are problems that this bed has had for awhile but the sales rep still sold it to us. Poor quality beds for the price shouldnt be a option for a large company like this new The next time we need a bed, we are going to to be looking elsewhere. We are almost $1600 out on two mattresses in two years with this company. Absolutely unacceptable.
