I have been looking for a good mechanic shop here in Tyler,Texas since i moved here over 3 years ago. I found a great place to get my car worked on when i found Mikes Automotive.They are all very professional,fast,nice and great folks.

I dont understand how can you run a business like this? Called a week ago to bring the car for o2 sensors and suspension issues. The lady was nice on the phone and personally but when I got the car to the shop she asked the mechanic and came back only to tell me to go somewhere else. Wasted my time driving for an hour .

Excellent car repair. Highly recommend if you have auto problems. They will diagnose your auto and tell you what the issues are. They will explain what is needed and what it will cost to repair. These guys are very good at what they do. Honest and reliable. They do guarantee there work.

This is the only automotive shop in Tyler that I will ever use! They are honest, dependable and trustworthy! Especially if you are a woman or single mom! This is a shop you can trust! I just moved back to Tyler and was glad to see Mike had his own shop. I will definitely be using him. I was reintroduced to him by a friend of mine who was getting repairs done. He was polite and started and finished the problem quickly as Mike always did before. I would recommend him to anyone needing a honest and reliable mechanic.

Mikes Automotive has been working on our cars for the last three years. I dont know much about cars, so Im always apprehensive about who Ill use. Im always afraid Ill be taken advantage of. I tried Mikes out on one of the few issues I actually knew something about, and they were great. They even made an effort to keep my costs low. I was very impressed. Ive used them 2-3 times since and always received the same level of honesty and service. Good people. Great owners.

Late on making this review but I finally got around to it after helping my grandmother. She took her car here & they replaced things that didnt need to be replaced, didnt repair the actual problem & left her with a $600 bill. She called to try and negotiate a deal because she didnt authorize the other repairs but they wouldnt budge. So disappointed with the way she was treated & she refused to let me call. Thankfully we found a good mechanic who did the actual repair for next to nothing after we called 6 other shops!

Mikes Automotive demonstrated the epitome of customer service. They were kind and went out of their way to make sure I was a satisfied customer. Since I only have one vehicle, they took me home and picked me up when the work was done. The problem was an obscure one, but they stuck with it until it was resolved. I recommend them 100%.

My 2003 Toyota Camry XLE was having vibration issues at different speeds. While on military leave visiting family, I decided to have Mikes Automotive take a look at the vehicle and see what they could find after my Dad recommended them to me. Mike and Joe were very helpful throughout the entire process and they found the issue was my drive axles. They gave me the quote which was fair and well priced. I had the car fixed and it feels like a new vehicle. I couldnt ask for a more pleasurable experience from an automotive shop and just had to write a positive review. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP.

This place is great! Best mechanic in ETx! My mother brought her vehicle in and they treated her with more respect than her past mechanics in the Mineola area! They explained everything clearly and made sure she understood what was going on. They also only fixed what was needed and helped hunt an elusive issue shes had with her headlights for 2 years.

There is ONE mechanic in Tyler to take your vehicle to. Mike and his guys are honest and professional people. I took my wifes Ford Explorer to have the climate control screen looked at. Joe ran diagnostics but was having trouble figuring out the issue. I called the Ford house and was about to take there, preparing myself to have to spend $2,000. However, when I went to pick the car up Mike was in the driver seat running tests on the car and as it turned out, they had fixed the problem-saving me potentially thousands. They could have just as easily told me that the part was just going to have to be replaced, but they were diligent and honest in their work. Thank you to all of the people at Mikes Automotive-we appreciate you more than you know!
