My wife and I went to look into the purchase of our new home to put on our property. We meet with Jorge, we were amazed to be able to sit down and talk to him not knowing what we were really looking for and did not felt rushed. Jorge was very knowledgeable and helpful, he answered all our questions and was very helpful with the whole process. We highly recommend Jorge, he knows all about the business and cares about his customers.

Jorge was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. After talking with us for a while, he showed us a home and it was exactly what we were looking for and in our price range. He nailed it on the first try! He also explained the whole buying process and made everything seem manageable. He answered all my questions about the whole process from start to finish. I highly recommend Palm Harbor if you want a great low-stress buying experience!

I’d give it even less if I could. We walked into the office and wasn’t even greeted. Finally when I said something about everyone being too busy…. The girl that had the office directly in front of the front door put down her hair straighten(professional) and said hello. We walked into her office and she pulls out a form and proceeds to tell us she has a four step process. I tell her we simply want to look at the homes and decide if this is the right route for us and we we are also looking into other building options. She again says she has a four step process and I reiterate we don’t want to run credit for anything like that as we don’t know what we want to do. She again tells me about her 4 step process and says she won’t show us anything until we get credit checks. We leave, and she goes back to straightening her hair.We went to Pratts next door and honestly, the difference was night and day. We walked in and explain to Lynn how unprofessional my visit was at palm harbor and I tell him exactly what I wanted to do, which was see houses. He gave us a key and told us we could for for a tour with him or do it ourselves. We choose to do it ourselves and it was great! Don’t waste your time with palm harbor. Go see people that actually want to help! I should also add that pratt and Clayton both told us a lot of their customers come in and say the same thing about palm harbor. And especially about the girl we unfortunately interacted with at palm harbor.

Such an amazing expirence!!! Aaron was super super helpful! My family and I have been searching for a home for months on end and Palm Harbor was our last resort! We found a perfect house and he even helped us work on our credit!! Definitely recommend!! If nowhere else will help they will!!

Start my application in February with Chad got an approve, then by the end March Andy took over. He also said I was approved and we find a trailer and finish the paperwork. I wrote a check, then he add all this new stuff to a use trailer that jacked the price up out my budget that he promise me. He when ghost and wouldnt answer the phone for me for about 2 weeks. I had to call the bank myself to get the answers I needed. Close my account with them on May 13 and still havent received my refund back. When I called I get a different date on when my refund will be in the office. Dont waste your time, they give your hopes up.

This place is horrible, over priced and nothing but a scam DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Do not leave earnest money under any circumstances. It has been over a month and we have not received our money. First the office lied and said they never took it, then its this whole thing about them finding this or that document. With Rachel basically saying she will get to it when she can. We have proof they took the money and we want it now. This wait is unacceptable. The other reviews are right. They are stealing money and refusing to give it back in an appropriate time frame.

Your customer service is seriously lacking... Andy is a rude person who lacks any sort of professionalism. As long as Palm Harbor employs salespeople like him, customers may be disappointed.

From the first contact online with Palm Harbor Homes to the day we went into the Tyler location was such a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. We met with Chad who is so awesome and definitely puts the true meaning to the “I CAN MAN”. Chad took his time with us showing us everything we wanted to see and more. He made us feel right at home and took his time and went above and beyond answering any questions we had. Chad was the calm in my storm buying a house can be so stressful, when he said “I got you” he truly did. He surly made this process less stressful and pleasant. If you are looking for a home don’t go anywhere else go see Chad and I promise you will not be disappointed. #ICANMAN

I give this place 0 stars we went in just to look at a repo because we knew that was all we could get approved for. Once we got there Sari was very pushy about doing the paperwork before looking at the house and talked us into doing the application with them, they asked for more documents that were not needed we knew what to expect due to us having our approval letter through 21st Mortgage. She argued with me on several occasions about different things during the application and at one point even stated that my boyfriends job would have to do another VOE when we had one already done one at that point I was upset and stated there was no point in us moving forward if our documents were not going to be good enough. On top of that the repo she showed us had a horrible smell to it and was in bad shape and they were not even going to offer the old AC unit that comes with the house and we were gonna have to do everything ourselves as for the house pad, hook ups and etc. They also pressured us into putting a deposit with the application needless to say we talked on our drive home and decided we are going to withdraw our application and go somewhere else our only intention was to look at a repo to see if we liked then do the paperwork if we did. Horrible place would not suggest going here.

If youre looking for a quality home go elsewhere.. The construction is shoddy and the buying process was painful.

Was not happy with my dealings with this company. Felt like I was passed around a lot. Everyone seemed to be blaming everyone else for things or they were lying. Unfortunate.

ITS BEEN ALMOST A MONTH SINCE CLOSING DAY, THE SALESMAN WAS FANTASTIC BUT AFTER THE CLOSING ITS LIKE THEY JUST FORGOT ABOUT IT, THE PAD BUILDER DID SUCH A TERRIBLE JOB ON THE PAD THAT WERE HAVING TO BRING IN AN ADDITIONAL $3,000 OF DIRT, THE ELECTRICIAN DOESNT CALL BACK, AND WHEN WE DID HEAR FROM HIM HE LIED ABOUT COMING OUT TO PUT UP OUR POLE! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, THE SEPTIC GUY ALSO HAD A HARD TIME COMMUNICATING, BECAUSE HE DID NOT TALK TO US FIRST ABOUT WHAT HE NEEDED US, THE HOME OWNER, TO DO!!!!

I went in knew it was bout closing time so I would not be pressured into purchasing a new hone as I just wanted to look. So I had the pleasure in meeting with Mr.Andy he was very respectful, friendly, pleasant, and most importantly outgoing. He took the time to explain the details of the home in which I just stopped by to inquire about. He is very knowledgeable, if you are in the home buying process I recommend Mr. Andy he is the man with the plan.

They did a house for my family and I will never use them. They promised new cabinets and failed to even refurbish them, never communicated dates, texured walls and didnt paint them, filled holes with chauk, used lowes to deliver appliances and we had to move them into the house. Terrible experience for them. Really sad because they were recommended by a good friend and they are now embarrassed for even mentioning palm harbor.

Chad Jeffery, was our sales consultant at Palm Harbor. He showed us a few homes. He promised we would be able to get a model home. So, for ten days after being approved we go to the meeting and Chad states, that we would not be able to purchase the home off the lot, and that we would have to wait until January 27, 2021. 🤨 Why couldnt you inform us before coming to the meeting? When my husband and I put our earnest money down 10 days, ago, Chad Jeffery, also stated that we would give your money right back. I paid with my debit card, not a check. So, after they lied to us, we decided to end the relationship. My husband asked for our earnest money, since Chad Jeffery, stated we will get it right back, instead Chad stated that the bank will send us a check in the mail and it will take about 2 weeks. What happened to, you will get your earnest money right back? Another lie. Also, I paid with my debit, why cant Palm Harbor refund my debit? He states, hes the can man, but he couldnt close the deal, and he can LIE! Before purchasing a home with Palm Harbor, fact check your salesperson, with his/her general manager.

We went in on three different occasions looking for a home. The first time we really dont consider because we went in around closing time. The second time we went in, we had questions about a specific house and the sales woman was very pushy, rude, and told us that we were wrong about the information we were given from another dealership. She also pressured us into trying to buy because the price was only good for that day. We said we were still shopping so we left. We later found out that they carry a model that we found and really wanted so we went back. The new sales lady was very helpful but as I said, she was new. She asked for help from her general manager about the floorplan we wanted because she didnt know all of the details and he came in. We had found this house in Wills Point, TX and Waco, TX. We had already been approved for a loan amount of $104,000 when we went back to Palm Harbor. We had been quoted a price of $74,900 and $82,000 but those dealers are a distance away so we were wanting a local dealer should we need anything. The general manager came in and started talking to us about the floorplan we had inquired about and told us the price was almost $96,000. We stated our shock at the higher amount quoted and his reaction was rude, Well, I dont know who quoted you THAT price but we cant even buy it for that amount. His reply and reaction to us was as though he didnt believe us. We said thanks but no thanks and left. His demeanor was as though he was bothered by us asking questions and that he didnt care about trying to help the customers. Palm Harbor has OUTRAGEOUS PRICES...$20,000 more than other places, they act as though you are lying about information from other dealers and they have very poor customer service. We would not recommend Palm Harbor Homes in Tyler to anyone. We took our business to American Homes in Tyler and have had very good customer service with our sales person, Elise Dorsey. She has been very helpful and replies quickly. We have found a home that fits our needs and wants AND ITS $24,000 CHEAPER.

Aaron was exceptionally helpful. Even went above and beyond to help get to where I could receive a better offer(How many companies do you know that help you pay them less money?!). I’m very grateful that we met him when we did and will be referring everyone I can. Thanks so much Aaron!

The quality and affordability of the homes were better than everywhere else and the customer service we received was the BEST! Sales woman is very pushy and I cant imagine how many people shes rushed into a house who were not ready for a house. Ran my credit for and said it was a soft pull but wasnt and took my credit score down 13pts!! Had some pretty homes available but I would check out the better business burrow on this company before purchasing a home. Saleswoman tried to force me into putting money down saying it was a today only special. Was considering buying a house and recommending them to other people who are looking for homes.. needless to say I will and am NOT returning to Palm harbor.

We were ready to buy a home and went to Palm Harbor. Our salesman is Eric Luker. We told him what we wanted and what we could spend and he got us right In The ball park. Our deal is not complete yet but I am in love with our new home. Eric has worked really hard to meet our needs. He always answers our calls and stays in touch with us if something comes up. I could not point one out better than the other, both have great floor plans that would complement what I’m looking for in a home. Space, storage, privacy, family gathering and comfort. Good sales men overall and if your able to stretch your beginner home budget the Encore was beautiful!

I was sold a home that was promised to have an excellent warranty. I have only lived in my new home for 4 months and have several issues with my home that I have made known to Palm Harbor through various phone calls and emails. But no one has came out to see my home. The customer service is all talk and no service. The house has poor workmanship throughout. I feel like I spent my money poorly on purchasing a home from Palm Harbor.

This company is VERY unprofessional! My consultant was Chad. He had me under the impression that everything was great and that I was on my way to being a first time home owner. Had me paying earnest money the first day I went there. They ran my credit, did an application, verified my employment, shown me some homes, and told me that all they were waiting on my income tax check to come so I can put some money down on a house. Well, needless to say, I got my check and ended up putting over $4000 down and Chad kept ducking and dodging my calls because what he wasnt telling me was that the bank had only approved me for $31,000. Long story short, I ended up asking for my money back because I cant do business with someone who is not consistent and honest. A little advise Palm Harbor, it takes more than comical advertising, and smooth talking to sell homes. You have to earn your customers trust by being honest, precise and consistent! Stalling and avoidance is just as bad as lying.

I would not recommend this place. I went in a few days ago looking...and expressed that I was in the very beginning stages of looking and planning. The pressure to buy was very strong and I could not get out of there fast enough. They told me that someone was coming by to put money down in the next few hours on the only model they had in my price range. Well, of course they asked for a deposit that very day...and the huge discount was only available that day (insert eye roll here). I dont believe there was another customer...however, if there was another customer I still would not have appreciated their slime ball practice of undermining that customer. I have looked at several other places in Tyler and not a single one felt high pressure. I, personally, will never return to Palm Harbor.
