I only gave three stars because we are in the beginning stages of purchasing a home from Oak Creek with Andy Moncrief as our sales man.A more precise review will be applicable after delivery of our home, should it come to pass, and we can better assess the professionalism, craftsmanship and, most importantly, the service from Oak Creek.We were told after, filling out a vast amount of paperwork that our information would be submitted on Monday, as Saturday was the day we chose the home we we would like, and that we would have an answer the following day, Tuesday, which is today. Meaning that we would have a definitive answer as far as approval for our mortgage goes.I reached out late in the day to our salesman and to one of the owners who does the financial side of things. I also left an email. I did hear back by email and was told that an “answer should be today and soon and I will call you right away”. Anyway, business hours are over and I have not heard back from anybody.From what I understand, they have been in business for many many years so I would imagine they know that people trying to buy a home are sitting on “pins and needles” waiting for an answer so I would think that they would reach out, even if there was no news or bad news. But this has not been the case at Oak Creek in the first go round. Just being completely honest here. I KNOW THEY ARE BUSY AND I AM NOT THEIR ONLY CUSTOMER. I GET THAT. Of course there was great communication in the beginning. Anyway, we remain optimistic, knowing that God is in charge of all of this and is orchestrating this entire situation. I bought a double wide from Tracy the sales lady. She and all the people in this office were great. Only thing that I had an issue with is their communication with the manufacturer seemed iffy at times, I think that was the manufacturer though.

Update 7/7/2020: I have now discovered that when it rains outside, it also rains inside my brand new home.I would not even give them one star, but it was required to leave this review. I recently purchased a new home from Oak Creek Tyler. The process started out great but quickly went south. We were rushed to hurry and close on the house, yet the finance person who rushed us didnt even bother to show up at closing. A month after closing the house was delivered and I received an email notification saying my house payment was increasing with no explanation. How can this be as we have already closed? Supposedly the deal was done incorrectly and things were missed / left off so we had to close yet again. Again we were rushed by Katie to drop everything and come sign. This wouldnt have been needed if the deal was done correctly the first time! The house that was delivered to me looks nothing like the one I looked at on the lot. It looks like a factory reject / factory second. Honestly, the house should have never left the factory in the condition its in. The house was put together and painted the wrong color where the two pieces meet together and several other spots. Why continue painting when you can clearly see the color doesnt match? So now I have a house sitting on my property that is not only several different colors, but I can not move into or live in because it needs so much work! I just keep getting the run around, excuses, and empty promises from Natalie my salesperson and Oak Creek Tyler instead of any true results or solutions. It seems like they really dont care now that theyve sold me this house and gotten their commission. I would not wish this situation on my worst enemy. Save yourself the hassle and stress and shop elsewhere.

I purchased a used oak creek home about 6 weeks ago. There were several issues that was found on the home after it was delivered to my property. A list was given to the owner and absolutely nothing has been done. I cannot move into this home until the issues are fixed. They do not return calls which is very unprofessional. If I had it to do over again I would not purchase from this establishment.Please folks go on down the road to spend your hard earned money.

I have been on the search to purchase a modular home for almost a year.Ive been to this establishment TWICE and received poor customer service both times.Inquiring about modular homes I was given keys and pointed in the direction to a side door leading to outside to view their options...with minimum conversation and no assistance from the facility.the homes I viewed online didnt look anything like the homes I viewed in person so Im assuming I wasnt looking at the right models.In frustration,I returned the keys and left.There were plenty of employees to assist me in the office but no one did which spoke volumes about this company....they really dont value their (potential)customers. I am a huge fan of customer service and I can honestly say its hard to find good customer service nowadays.I refuse to spend my money especially thousands and thousands of dollars with a company where I am not valued as a customer.Thanks for narrowing my search.

A family member of mine bought a home from here and let me tell you one thing... from thier experience I would not buy a home from this place. The sales lady tells you one thing and then trys to swindle you out of what she says. The quality of the home is pathetic for the price of it. If I was in charge of oak creek I would be ashamed of the customer service and quality of the home. Very shady and unprofessional.

Super helpful team out at Oak Creek. Spoke with Bill and very briefly Ron. Essentially Bill asked us what we were looking for in a home, identified homes with those characteristics on the demo lot, handed us keys to them and let us roam around them at our own pace. No supervision, just a family walking through homes seeing what they like and dont like. Discussing everything without any 3rd party input. Bill was really positive in reassuring us that buying a home/land through Oak Creek was an endeavor we could take on and succeed at. If the rest of the process runs as smoothly as the initial visit, I will definately be recommending Oak Creek Homes.

This company is a joke I just purchased a home and have had problems out of it since day 1 there is stuff under the linoleum throughout the house. The first living room has a hole in the linoleum and they dont want to replace it they just want to patch and I dont want that since I am paying for a new house.. there is also a cut in linoleum in kitchen that will also need replaced. The ac unit doesnt keep up with the house and the ac company said that the unit is too small for the house.. we traided in a home and had to be out by the first but they didnt pay it off till after so we ended up making a payment for the house we didnt own anymore and now cant get ahold of anyone about it...

They let us have the keys to a few single wide homes and we loved two of them. One single wide was $60 thousand and one was $75 thousand. Once we walked into the doors we were not disappointed. But I was shocked how singles can be just as expensive as a double wide. The gold spur mobile home would be my first choice if I bought one

I bought a home from them less than a year ago since then the roof has leaked through my wall flooding my kitchen, cabinets have fallen off, and my walls are seperating. The shower leaks, doors dont shut properly causing my electric bill to rise. counter tops are bubbling etc. I would upload photos if I knew how.

Was a great experience to set with and the styles of mobile homes on Oak Creek Homes. The salesman,Glen Glaze, was very. Informative about the styles and what they offered in a living environment. The you for the time he took with us.

Ours had problems from day 1. After trying to get them to fix it for a year it burned down and we lost everything. When the water department turned the water on the pipes under the house burst and it looked like a river under our house. With in 3 weeks of moving in the house had weird electrical problems. One night the wall behind the TV caught fire. We put it out and they came out and said they fixed it. Sometime later while at work the house burnt down. Our whole lives where in that house. Its been several years now but we have never gotten over it. We have nothing now! You would not believe how loosing a house will make you give up

July 1, 2019 my husband, Don Webb and I, Betty Webb, went looking for a new home. We looked several places in Tyler and were undecided until we came upon Oak Creek Homes and stopped in. We had a great experience. We were introduced to the sweetest young lady, Mireya Miranda, a great asset to this company. She is an EXCELLENT sales lady. We told her exactly what we wanted, and what we did not want, in a forever home. She was so helpful in our needs, knowing her business very well. This young lady went way beyond, in helping our needs and wants. She was not pushy on any home at all, showing us what she had, and all of a sudden she thought about another one she had. We received our new home on March....when it arrived the trim connecting the 2 pieces was painted the wrong color, then the under skirting was painted another wrong color. Still today my house a crazy mess of unmatched colors and we continue to get the run around everytime we call the local dealer or the factory. This is just 1 of the many unresolved issues.

The biggest mistake we ever made was choosing Oak Creek Homes. The only reason I gave 1 star is because it wouldnt let me post without it.

We purchased a trade-in Double Wide and Oak Creek delivered our home without any repairs or remodeling. And also we were never given notice of our home was ready or the chance to look over it afterwards. And they only gave us a 2hr notice that our was being delivered to our property. We dont recommend them at all because this was only the beginning of the problems that we had to deal with and were still dealing with.
