Brought a car 9/30/2021, and exactly a week a check engine light comes on. Warranty company says possibility it won’t be covered. And when I called Drive time they advised to call warranty there’s nothing they can do. I feel scammed just to get a sale, especially when I stressed how important having a reliable car was to me. Save your self some time and go to a actual dealership.

NEVER purchase a vehicle BEFORE getting an inspection from a certified mechanic.This dealership does not allow you to get a pre-purchase inspection before purchasing. They said I had to purchase the car before getting it inspected. The point of the inspection is to make sure I don’t buy a car with mechanical problems...DriveTime does not want you to make sure there are no mechanical issues with the car they are selling you.Very SHADY.Update: as response to DriveTime reply: of course the dealer selling it will say it’s inspected, but I need to get the vehicle inspected by a mechanic I trust, not just take your word for it. Also, I read the reviews, your warranty is BS. Sounds like it is difficult to get you guys to honor it. Vehicle Service Contact? That’s a fancy name for extended warranty. It is probably overpriced and also difficult to get any repairs from.

I visited Drive Time after several phone calls to make sure I was approved and had everything I needed because I live two hours away. I get there thirty minutes before my appointment and fill out paperwork I already did online, and yes you have to write your SSN on paper which is so suspicious. I came in with my lease, my bank statements, and drivers license. The guy who greeted me was awful he had an attitude, he clearly did not want to be there, he made me print off another bank statement because he did not believe it was mine, and he then declined me because my STUDENT bank account has both my mothers and my name on the address slip. He said that means it is a joint account and I only get 50% of the income which is not how joint accounts work! My mother can not touch my money at all which I explained to him that she has no legal access to but he still turned me away. The service here is awful and the people here are really rude.Do NOT believe any of these reviews left here on google, these reviews are fake!!!! . They all start off the same way, Insert Sales persons name, helped me get a car they were very enthused to work with me and they were very patient

I had an appointment here today at 4:30pm and called to say I would be 15 minutes late. I arrived at 4:45pm after driving an hour to get there, was given a sheet to fill out and turn in and was then sent outside to wait. I waited for about an hour before finally being called in when I had to submit a paystub through email. Once I did that, I was told to go back outside and wait to be called again. I waited for another hour and watched 3 separate people who showed up after be called and helped before I finally decided to leave. When I called to complain, the manager said that he cannot verify that the people who came in after me were called ahead of me. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I felt that my value as a customer was not shown. If im being completely honest, I felt as though the reason we were ignored and treated this way is because we were the only white people there. It hurts me to say that but thats how I felt.All I know is I will not ever return to this location again and will definitely make sure I let everyone I know know how I was treated here and to not waist their time going there.
