Very professional! He addressed me as soon as I entered and looked at my car within five minutes of my arrival (Even though I was late for my appointment!). He listened to my concerns, showed me the issue my car had, and gave me a price on what it would cost me to fix it. Ive found a business that can service my cars as long as I live in this area!! I was back on the road in less than an hour! Ill definitely be back when the necessity presents itself.

Good honest people. I took my Ford in for a brake booster repair. They found out it was still under an extended warranty. They advised me to call the dealership and get it repaired for free. Integrity and honesty have gained these guys a customer for life!

I went for an oil change this is what I returned with.Their mechanic backed up my truck to a pole.The owner is the most unprofessional person I have met in Valdosta. I have lived worked and raised a family in this community for 24 yrs and never had an experience this bad. The owner told me Your truck is damaged that is true but your truck is not new. I had used this place for at least 15 yrs with my other vehicles. He keep repeating Your truck is old. Ray Nortons unprofessional, rude and offending statement was noteworthy to a customer of decades.

Sadly, cant honestly rate it. When traveling through Valdosta on 75 our car died. We were towed to this business by AAA where we found they couldnt work on the car until the following Friday, a week later. Needless to say we made other arrangements.

Fast service, reasonable prices, but they dont always take accurate notes, or follow through with free point checks... Revisited on 9/28. Eric was very attentive and explained everything, rechecked parts of my 21 pt check report, and offered to check out the need for a replacement part free of charge. He even looked over the pprwk for other work done on my car to correct alignment concerns; I felt valued and appreciated. I will take my car back for other services. We all make mistakes, we are not all humble enough to correct them when pointed out. Ray Norton is. They have my recommendation!!

Didn’t even look at it saying I need to take it to a body shop...to it to A&M and they fixed it! If they didn’t wanna deal with it that’s all they had say...don’t know if I’ll be back! I went in for a front end alignment. Had it done. Drove for a few days noticed my steering wheel was off center. Called for a Checkup. The employee got in drove it and said its fine. Well it did end up going to be rechecked and he stated bnothing changed. Well low and behold when I left the wheel was straight and the truck is driving wonderful. My complaint is this listen to your customers

They sold me a bad battery and kept trying to say that the battery was still in good condition, but when i took it to other places (namely, AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, Gn Salvage) all three businesses said that the battery was default and would no longer provide the energy it supposed to towards my 98 Toyota Camry. And I asked them to just replace the battery with another one and all he kept doing was charging the battery up, which later died 10 min into the car.. So i went and got a brand new battery and all my lil problems that they said I had with my power source was depleted..

Great staff & great service! While on my way to North Carolina from Florida, my car was experiencing issues that needed to be repaired immediately. We called them early on a Saturday morning and they told us to come on in. Our problem was fixed right away and we were back on the road in no time! Thanks again for the help! Now we can enjoy a stress free vacation.

I think the tires and the prices are great they are by far one of the cheapest places to go for good quality tires. But the wait time just to put them on is ridiculous. My appointment was at 10. I was there at 930. I didnt leave until around noon. I could of put those tires on faster then that. And it was only 2 people ahead of me and they were getting different services. But great prices non the less

I visited a different mechanic because the same issue I went here for came back like 2 months later. My mechanic told me the pieces that were supposedly changed we’re just moved around. If you go here, just ask to watch your mechanic because they’ll have you paying hundreds of dollars for false work.

The Establishment is basically friendly, I purchased tires from there, they installed the tires but the job wasnt completed correctly the first time, they did own up to this which caused my tires continued to lose air on brand new purchased tires. I had to go back several times with this issue, while this issue was being corrected an employee damaged my car but did not own up to it! Are there no establishments in town that can be trusted to do a good job without damaging your property or make it right when they do? We pay money for quality services! My car was purchased with hard-earned money I just ask that these establishments respect my property as they expect me to respect their property!

After stopping by a national chain store that begins with “F”, I decided to get a second opinion. The staff at Norton’s Tire was able to save me $200 over the quoted price of the other shop. While there, I met the owner of the shop. Ray is a very nice and kind-hearted man, who really seems to love what he does. Thank you to Mr. Ray and all the staff at Norton’s Tire.

I used Ray Norton to replace my control arms on my car, I heard they were really good. Friendly staff and very polite, however when I picked up my car they told me that the steering wheel was not straight because the tire rods needed replacing, it wouldnt align properly. I just paid almost $600 and now they wanted $300 more for new tire rods to make the steering wheel straight. I decided to get a second opinion from another mechanic on the tire rods. I found out I didnt need tire rods, they were fine. The other mechanic aligned the front end again and my steering wheel is now straight and it only cost $ 45. This was my first and last time using Ray Norton

Do not take your business here. Youre better off elsewhere. I wish I could give this place 0 stars if I could after what they did to my car. I took my car here to get my clutch master cylinder replaced and I came back to scratches on my door, a broken dead pedal, dirty interior and exterior, and a scrape and dent on my driver side rear quarter panel. Please do not come here.

I really like this place. The staff is really friendly and always does a great job and tries to give the best possible price when things need to be fixed. I really love that they have a childrens area while waiting and some items set up for buying to pass the time. Beautiful facility.

A rare Find Today...Excellent repair service, No inflating the job cost, No pressure at all. Mike Kept me informed as the two services were being done on the process and and issues..And I was informed if either job couldnt be properly completed, I wouldnt be charged...I travel the country for Business and have also used other local shops when i had no other choice, And its very uhhh to say leaat risky and amazing at how shops do business now. Anything goes...Rays was just the opposite, and totally Honest and very reasonably priced, And Bottom as well, Did great work...No leaving feeling worried or with more problems than you came in with. And believe me, I do a review occasionally.This is the place to go.

This place is horrible. I got all four new tires from them and in less than a month two of them blew. The first time I went and I didnt complain I just bought another one. A few weeks later another one blew and I went to go talk to them and they wouldnt do anything about it. The guy at the front desk said that it was mounted wrong. Will you guys were the ones that did it last. They just always pushing sales on me. Very unprofessional. I dont recommend this place.

After worrying about a shake that was going on with my front tires I took it to them to have it inspected for free! The man at the desk took the time to really explained what was going on and what wasnt supposed to be happening (eek!!) He gave me all the info and the price and I was shocked at first but I knew there isnt a price for safety! I was amazed by the service I received and was also blessed they were able to do it! On May 3, I had a blowout on I-75 and AAA towed me to Ray Nortons tires. I was beyond shaken up. Every single person there was professional, courteous and went way beyond my expectations to help me get back on the road. My car is a 2015 Kia that I bought a few months ago. When we got to the tire store, there was no wheel lock in the vehicle. They talked to the local Kia place, went over and bought a wheel lock set and installed the whole thing - just for their cost and labor. They put two new tires on. They explained everything they were doing and did all of this at a very reasonable price. If I were local, this would be my tire store. I cant thank them enough for taking care of my problem.

Friendly service and fair prices but make sure if you have a bottom engine cover they put all your bolt back in tight or you will have to go back and get new ones put in.

I have used Ray Norton multiple times and each time they have been wonderful to me and have done excellent work on my car. This latest time I brought my vehicle to them for a second opinion and Im glad because they found the obvious problem the other place missed and saved me an unnecessary repair and a hundred dollars! Cant say enough good things!!

Had repairs on my car that was fair and pricing fair. Did a follow up on a general inspection and over heard its not a safety issue...as I hoped they werent talking about my car, if someone goes to a specialist, thats probably the last thing they wanna hear after getting their car checked

I came in on 11/24/2015 for an appointment to have an estimate done for repairing a radiator leak. The guy at the desk was courteous, and the seating area of the shop was pleasant to wait in while they checked out the leak.Between 30-45 minutes later, I was told that the radiator needed to be replaced. I was then told I would have to pay $39.95 for their coolant system pressure test.Unexpected, to say the least. Obviously, a heavily-leaking coolant system (or anything, really) would be deficient on pressure. This unnecessary service and charge was against common sense, and has the grimy feel of a nickel-and-dime ploy.I also asked about the condition of the hoses to see if they might also need replacing. I was told that they didnt know, just that I should replace the radiator.What this tells me is that Ray Norton Auto did not do a visual inspection: as in, going underneath the vehicle and examining the pinpoint source of the leak. Instead, they hooked up my vehicle to a pressure tester, got a readout, and made a broad and clumsily-contrived assumption. This approach to repair can easily result in customers wasting hundreds or thousands of dollars on unnecessary services that do not resolve the issue. Needless to say, this is quite a profitable approach for an automotive shop.Lifelong lessons to be learned here: asking for an estimate does not mean that the estimate itself will be without charge. Other shops in the area of Valdosta have checked and provided estimates for any of my concerns without charge, so I was accustomed to that kind of service.I must give Ray Norton Tire & Auto Center credit: they seem to have friendly folks working the desk, and a great atmosphere to read a book or fiddle on your phone while you wait. Sadly, the positive experience did not extend into the service bay.

We were from out of town and they inspected a vehicle we were looking to buy. Very knowledgeable and helped us with our car buying decision.

Way overpriced for my brothers car to be fixed. We went somewhere else to get it looked at and it was half the cost then what they charged for it.The place we went to charged him $500 while RN wanted to charge $1200 and also said something else was wrong with it so $300/$400 more on top of the $1200
