Hobby Lobby always has good deals for those with a creative side and not so creative side. My daughters (creative) love the art. For me (give me a crayon, not so creative) they have lots of pretty shiny things to look at while the girls shop.

Always find more than I go in for.

Hobby Lobby is a wonderful place to get everything you want for fabric, quilting, yarn, sewing, arts and crafts, frames, decor, seasonal decor and so much more! Mostly crowded on weekends and holidays. Closed on Sundays. No longer takes the 40 percent off coupon.

As a customer, I used to love this place, but when I started working there, my opinion quickly changed. Upon being hired, I was not told of a lot of what I would be doing at the job. Despite applying for a full time position, I was only offered a seasonal part time position with the chance to move up later. A lot of details were left out, being covered by vague phrases. Who knew that being scheduled from 11am to close would result in being on my feet for 10.5 hours. A third of that time being spent unloading a semi truck full of boxes. According to the store manager thats all just humbling hard work.I was barely taught anything. I was only told short tasks to do for an hour or two, having to move a lot and/or do physical tasks. When I finally had enough and quit, I was greeted by the store manager telling me, Well, I hope you find a job that doesnt require you to do hard work. So, she really had to insult my work ethic on my way out. I dont expect this review to stay up, but I want to share my experience with this particular Hobby Lobby, Store 353.So long story short, the store is pretty great from the outside. I hear complaints occasionally about the employees being slow at check out and sometimes having bad attitudes. Great employees dont smile when theyre treated like garbage by their boss. If you try working there, expect Ms. Jan K will treat you like an ant, not a human being. If you happen to be a male applying there, prepare to be worked to the bone for a measly 11 an hour.

They really need to do something about the lines. Even before Covid, lines anytime was impossible to check out. 5-6 people deep. Also Corp needs to bring back the 40% off coupon.

They normally have what I am looking for and I can check their inventory online to save myself a waisted trip. However, be prepared to wait to checkout. The lines are always filled and very slow. I only go here if I cannot find what I need at another store or I do not have time to wait for shipping from an online source.

Staff was friendly. Was welcomed to Hobby Lobby as soon as I entered door. Store was clean and neat. Only gave 4 stars cause was out of what I went there for.

I love shopping at and buying from Hobby Lobby. Their prices are competitive, reasonable and sometimes unbelievably low. It never fails that when I enter the store with a definite shopping list, I ALWAYS end up buying something extra because it was unique or low-priced or just irresistible. I love the furniture items in their vestibule and always purchase something from there. The wedding and artificial flowers selections are always uniquely astonishing and extensive, as are the home decor and sewing/material selections.

Lots of stuff, and deserving of probably 3.50 - 3.75 rating, if you find helpful customer service. Though long known for American business success, it has come at expense of cheap Chinese labor. Large portion of goods are Made in China! Each location is fresh, clean, and exemplary associates can be found, at times!

Hobby Lobby is a great place to shop, but when my mom, my sister, and me went in there you got bad service. We went to the refunds and exchange line and the lady named Wilma, she throw the pen at my mother and she caught a attitude when we said we was returning it. PLEASE CHECK YOUR WORKER WILMA AND TELL HER TO GET HER ACT RIGHT!!!!!!

Its not often you can shop at a Christian owned business. Very well stocked with just about anything you would need. It is nice to shop where employees say Merry Christmas before you do. I hope they stay in business until Jesus comes.

Always love Hobby lobby especially for our Grandson its definitely the go to place for his models he loves anything military to star wars and always plenty of crafts for the Granddaughters and can always count on the 40% discount havent seen a 50% off coupon in a long time but its still worth going just for the models @ the price with coupon code and would love to be able to get him an electric train but just to expensive even with coupon, he loves this store which is awesome for any highly functional Autistic children or child with Autism as most love trains, just wish yall had some less expensive then in the $100 range. But yes highly recommend Hobby Lobby.

I enjoy Hobby Lobby because they have any and everything from home decor, fabric, picture frames, materials for DIY projects, and many, many craft supplies. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous and the prices affordable.

Nice selection no crowds in the line

The Valdosta store is always very neat and clean. In this particular trip I was buying stuff for a school project, or I should say trying to figure out what to buy. lol. A super nice employee who was putting up stock spoke and asked could she help me find anything. I told her I was trying to figure out what to buy for a 3rd Indian project. She immediately stopped what she was doing and started showing me some different options and explained the pros and cons of certain items. I saw her again before leaving the store and she asked me.if I found everything I needed. I told her yes, I was just trying to figure out the cheapest way to go because this project was getting crazy expensive. Once again she stopped what she was doing and showed me some options that were all on sale. Ive never had a store employee anywhere be so helpful!! I never once asked her for help, she just cheerfully offered and was an excellent example of what great customer service is. I really wish I had gotten her name so I could let the.manager know what a great job shes doing. Shes definitely a huge asset to this company. I did take one star away because the restroom needed some attention and there were quite a few broken Christmas items on the shelves for sale..

Manager needs to talk with customers off to the side not while the customer is trying to check out. All it does is hold up the line. The rest of us have better things to do th han wait for her to stop yacking.

I go here because it is convenient. The prices are a little to high and check out is super long. The employees are friendly and helpful, but sometimes another cashier would be helpful.

I absolutely love this store, it’s the grown up version of kid in a candy shop! There is so much to offer here in the way of decorations and crafts for the whole family. The store is always very clean, well stocked, and organized and the staff is welcoming and helpful, always ready to answer questions with a smile. You can always catch some good deals as well.

I love hobby lobby. Its a little expensive, but they always have amazing deals. The store displays are always fun and cute. The store in general is usually always clean. The bathrooms are a little dingy, but that didnt effect my shopping experience.

Got what I wanted fast and easy

This was my first trip to the store. For being packed busy it was clean. Aisles were clear but narrow. I would have given 5 stars but the supplies i was looking for were not well stocked and hard to find. Additional signage to let you know where to find what you need would help.

Fun as hell but most of the stuff is a bit too high priced. I could spend an hour or so here without even realizing it. Most employees, though, dont ask if you need help but I know its a big store so it cant be helped sometimes. Definitely check it out if you can, because its hard not to buy those beautiful paintings and flowers.

Great prices since my fiance can spend an entire pay check here, but the difference compared to other stores is how much you can get for the price you pay and the majority of stuff is made with quality.

I was looking for small spools of thread in two colors of blue for a small hand sewing project. A worker shower me where the thread was but they were larger spools than I wanted. I explained that I only needed a small quantity; she said thats what they had. Looking over on the notions wall, I found an assortment of tiny spools in 24 different colors.. for 50¢ less than one spool of the other thread. Would have been nice if shed pointed me to those instead of me having to stumble upon them. Oh, well. Live and learn.

Good selection of all sorts of craft avenues except artist pens and markers. Home decor is expensive as all get out but cheaply made. God forbid you look at some of it the wrong way, may fall apart in the parking lot. Still cute. They frequently have sales so it kind of makes up for the prices. Staff is friendly.

Im in Hobby Lobby at least 3-4 times a week. Some of the cashiers are not that friendly but they have a customer service manager names Felecia and she is very friendly and also resourceful. I had to ask another male manager tall with dark hair kind of slim build for help. I appreciate him so much he stopped what he was doing to help me. Overall its a great place to shop I think the cashiers need to be a little more energetic.

Wow. This place had everything!! I originally went to michaels, but they didnt have what i was looking for... but hobby lobby did. Remember to get a coupon ready, they usually have a 40% off one item that can be found online.

Im a avid customer I go in here several times a week.and I must say since they have changed management things are so much better in there. The store is always clean most all of the employees are very helpful if youre looking for something some go above and beyond. Some dont and some are not very friendly.

I can almost always find whatever crafting item Im looking for here. But if I dont, Ill usually find something else to make my plans work! And Ill almost always find something that wasnt on my list to buy ;-) My only complaint is the wait time in the checkout line. Even with 3 registers open, the checkout process is too slow. A different system needs to be implemented for better efficiency.
