The price, the services offered and the associate that help my wife and I were freaking awesome. My wife went from not even wanting to look at mattresses to pushing me buy one. American mattress won over one of the pickiest people on earth (my wife) so you can’t go wrong.

Salesman was friendly and helpful when it came to picking out a mattress. Gave a guarantee wed have it in a week. One week turned into two, two weeks turned into a month. Still havent gotten the mattress and they refuse to communicate on if/when well ever get it. Save yourself some trouble and just go down the road.

FYI the warranty is terrible. Wait till something goes wrong with your mattress after putting out a very large amount of money.. the store does not do the warranty the have a warrantee company come and look at your mattress then email you to tell you that it isnt under warrantee. So buyers beware we got stuck with a defective mattress. And the store said it wasnt up to them. They sold it.

Terrible experience. Never buying from them again. Eric the manager is terrible communicating things he’s promised customers. Pete is extremely rude, didn’t even try to help me when I tried explaining how frustrated I was and kept telling me I would have to wait to get the situation resolved. Ended up having to call the 1800 number for them to fix things for me. Overall this store is terrible 10/10 recommend going somewhere cheaper that’ll treat you better.

Terrible delivery options. If you want to wait forever and not have any delivery options available when you aren’t working. Manager not interested In the fact that you spent 1,000.00 and can’t get your product delivered. Delivery is outsourced and they aren’t able to contact them. Both times company drivers have not been English speaking. Go somewhere else.

We prefer to buy from locally, family owned business. We found American Mattress several years ago to have just what we needed for our little ones growing up...a big person twin bed. They were really nice and helpful so we returned around Thanksgiving for their best deals of the year! They treated us really nice and threw in extras for free! Weve been back a couple of times since! Weve visited all the others and keep finding the best deals and quality service at American Mattress!

We bought a leather covered futon mattress to address some seating issues we had with a jackknife sofa in our RV. It took us a month to decide that this mattress was not going to work for us even though we only sat on it about 5 or 6 times. We asked if we could return it and it was no problem whatsoever! We are very grateful to the staff of the store. We will be back when we are in need of new mattresses.

During my visit there, I was not looking to buy, I was just looking for prices to compare and contrast, until one of the salesman came up to me and started talking to me. I came into American mattress today lookin to get some prices on mattresses for my girlfriend and I. Wasn’t really looking to buy, but after talking to the staff there they changed my mind pretty fast, one of the salesman Jim was very friendly and easy to work with. I was out looking for a mattress today for me and my boyfriend. I wanted to shop around to see what all of my options were. My first stop was at Mattress Firm down the street. I was not impressed with the selection that was offered on their showroom floor. The salesman was not informative and did not really help me with any of my questions. When I told him I wanted to look around and asked what other stores were in the area he said everything close by was another mattress firm or that mattress firm owned the other beddings stores. Upon leaving I googled other mattress stores and came across that American Mattress was down the street. I figured I would test my luck and see if this store had other options for me with more information for my purchase.When I walked in to American Mattress I was immediately greeted by Jim. He was an extreme pleasure to work with. He understood that buying a mattress is a rather large decision and he made sure that I was getting exactly what I wanted. He had me test out a bunch of different products and asked me questions in regards to mine and my boyfriends sleeping patterns (side sleeper/ back sleeper/ do we snore/ etc). I have never had such a positive experience in purchasing something. Any question I had, Jim was able to give me a quick answer with as much information as I needed to understand and feel comfortable. He was able to help me get the best price I could have ever imagined. On top of everything, he offered for the bed to be delivered next day! I was extremely excited!As it turns out, American Mattress is NOT owned by Mattress Firm, and is in fact a privately family owned company.
