I have so MANY wonderful compliments to give to this establishment! I had my hair styled by Alex and makeup done by Becca in under two hours! Not only was it done in a timely manner, but the end result was more than I could have ever expected! I reserved a time slot on their website, super easy process.Both the ladies were professional, friendly, kind, easy going and listened to my wants for my big day! I left extremely impressed and happy with my experience! The establishment was clean, organized and appealing to its consumers! I also appreciated the pricing being affordable!

Alex and Becca were AMAZING! They were able to glam my bridesmaids and my mom in enough time, so we didn’t feel rushed while getting ready. They were funny and nice and made each person feel so welcome and beautiful. Communicating with Alex was a breeze and she was able to answer any questions we had. We had the option to either come to their storefront or they could come to us. We had them come to our Air BNB we rented so we were able to get ready in our own place. I loved them and so did my bridesmaids!

The staff here is knowledgeable on the services they provide. Their recommendations for hair and skin had always proven to be a win for me. When I come in everyone is friendly and accommodating! I always leave feeling extra glam! Love this place, highly recommend!!

Kimberly was amazing. My eyelashes are very short and very straight, but she was able to make the classic lashes work. I love the lashes and I feel so beautiful!

I cannot recommend GLAM Beauty Bar enough! I am not one who enjoys to wear makeup and really wanted a natural look/loose hair. They did an amazing job and I could not have been happier. Their down to earth personalities made the day that much more enjoyable for my family, my bridesmaids and myself! Ive been to the beauty bar twice for a lash lift and tint and once for a makeup application. I love coming here and every time Im so happy with the results! My lashes looked so perfect after the lash lift and tint. I loved not having to wear mascara for weeks. I also came to the beauty bar to get my makeup done for engagement photos in June and loved how my makeup turned out! It was exactly what I wanted, but looked so much better than I imagined.

Had a brow lamination done by Becca and I’m absolutely OBSESSED!!!! Not only am I beyond pleased with the results, Becca is fabulous and explains everything while she’s doing it! Highly recommend

I moved to the Vancouver area in the last year and needed to find a place to get facials as well as get my brows waxed. A friend of mine recommended GLAM so I called them and tried it out. I am so happy that I did! I have been getting facials with them for the last 6 months (pre-COVID) and it has helped my skin so much!Alyx Wiest has been amazing at recommending products that work for my skin. She has been professional during all facials and answered any questions I have pertaining to my skin. I have loved getting facials at GLAM and love how relaxing it is. It has always been super clean there but even during COVID I feel comfortable coming in because of all the extra precautions that they take. Alyx has also waxed my brows and this experience has also been great.I would highly recommend GLAM to anyone looking for a place that is professional and will provide outstanding services!

This place hits the nail on the ry time! This is my go to anytime i need hair and makeup done for an event. Wedding, birthday, fund raiser or concert. They also offer fantastic waxing and spray tan services. I have not had a facial here but i know they offer them as well. Lucky for me they can usually get me in on short notice as well. They will greet you into their adorable pink oasis and cheerfully offer you a mimosa (duh!) before letting you get comfortable while you wait for your makeup artist (or esthician) They really make you feel like a beauty queen and dont miss a beat from the moment you enter to the moment you leave

Becca always goes above and beyond with my brows. I really enjoy my monthly visits as she is so personable and I have the best time just chatting and getting pampered :) Everyone is so friendly and it’s truly an amazing experience every time.

My eye and face makeup looked great, but my lips were so messed up that I had to go home, remove the lip liner/lipstick and apply my own. I felt so embarrassed that I had walked past so many people on my way to my car (after the appointment) looking like that. It was painfully obvious that my lips were uneven and not filled in completely on one side. I felt really rushed towards the end and that simple mistake could have been easily fixed had they taken the time to really make sure every detail was accounted for. I should have at least been given the opportunity to look in the mirror before I left.I was instead, rushed over to pay and leave.I understand with COVID it can be weird working with guests (I work with guests every single day as well), but customer service is everything for a small business. Especially right now. I am thankful that they continued trying to make my eyelashes stay on because my eyes kept watering but that was basically ruined by how rushed I felt.I also didn’t particularly care for being told that I shouldn’t want marriage because I’m “so young” (I’m 26) and have plenty of time. Didn’t exactly appreciate having that be (literally) laughed at. Not everyone shares the same goals or aspirations, but I’m pretty firm in mine. I can be a mom, a college graduate, an employee, and want to get married to the father of my child. It’s not out of the question.

I visited over the weekend to have my hair done for a friends wedding and couldnt recommend this place more!! It was easy to book, and I was able to connect with my stylist immediately. Cara was so professional and personable. She styled my hair perfectly and took extra care to make sure that it would hold in all the rain. My hair looked beautiful the entire evening and I received many compliments. It was such a fun experience - you can tell they really love what they do! PS - the salon is so cute!

Sarah is awesome. My wax was quick, looks perfect, she was so professional and made me feel very comfortable. Ill definitely be a regular, and would recommend to anyone. Ill be booking soon for a lash tint and lift. Love how clean/ pretty the space was too.

Im not sure what happened after COVID, but the staff has been extremely unprofessional and rude. Im not saying its everyone there, there are obviously nice people that work there, but i wont be going here anymore. Im not going to be belittled by the staff, Ill just find somewhere else.Edit: Ive been going there for 6+ months and this has only been a recent (like I said, after COVID) issue. They do give nice services, so if politeness doesnt bother you, youd love this place. Im not sure if the lady I spoke to is new, considering other people are now leaving reviews saying the same thing but shes flat out rude.

Alyx W. is AMAZING!! She provides quality service and is so personable, like all the other wonderful humans who make up the GLAM team. I have been getting my brows waxed and tinted for three years now and will never go anywhere else; always perfection.

Let me start off by saying my services were outstanding, and I will definitely return to do them again (thanks Kourtenie!) I usually have a terrible reaction to waxing but she made sure my skin was safe. So glad I found Kourtenie! 💖The reason I didn’t give 5 starts is because the lady who checked me in was pretty rude. It was my first time visiting glam and it was really disappointing to be treated so poorly at the front desk. She was texting, rolling her eyes, and made me feel like I was bothering her for asking where I should sit and wait for my appointment.

I had a wonderful experience with Glam for my wedding day! Alex was excellent at coordinating, Kristen did a great job with my makeup and Katelyn styled my hair perfect! My entire bridal party had both hair and makeup done, and we all walked out feeling beautiful! I would highly recommend Glam for their professionalism, communication and service!

I am so impressed with the quality of service this beauty bar has. I was trying to schedule a facial on a specific day- instead of telling me no, they were able to squeeze me into their Eastside location! I am so excited to get my very first facial ever! I have been in to their location for several other services and have always been treated well. Thank you so much for going above and beyond for lil old me.

I went to Glam with my bridesmaids to get our hair and make-up done. I picked Glam because they are close by, have such a cute studio, and are well priced. I loved my hair and make-up trial run and was very excited to go in the day of. My mom and my fiances mom and 3 sisters also joined us that day, so we ended up with 5 women with incredibly long hair, which caused some worry about finishing on time, but our GlamBarbies were amazing and got us all done on time and looking fabulous. My hair and make-up were even better than at the trial run, something I wouldnt have thought possible. We all received several compliments throughout the night on our hairstyles and makeup. I just wish I could afford to go in all the time!

I am BEYOND upset!! This place was recommended to me. I went in for my appointment today for an eyebrow wax with McKenzie, after she was “done” waxing my eyebrows she didn’t even give me a mirror so I got up to look at my brows on a mirror they had hanging in the room. That’s when I saw she left me a big bald spot on my eyebrow! And she had the dignity to lie to my face and said she didn’t do it! I’m not stupid i didn’t walk in with a huge bald spot on my eyebrow! Never again will I go here and I do NOT recommend to anyone! Unless you want bad eyebrows!

I recently had a custom spray tan. This was my first tan at Glam, but I have had hair and makeup done here prior.The day I got my spray tan, I got my eyebrows waxed and tinted and that was a good experience, although I asked for them to be shaped and they didn’t looked shaped afterwards.I thought my first spray went well. I didn’t get any aftercare instructions past a paper handed to me.. which wasn’t much. Of course it was raining the day I got my tan. I brought an umbrella, but I got some rain on my arms trying to close my car door. I went back into the salon. Got my arms sprayed over. However, there were spots all over my arms from the rain. I asked if that was going to be an issue the next day and was told no. If it was to just put self tanner on it. Mind you, I’ve never used self tanner and thought it was ridiculous that after spending $35 on a spray tan, that I would need to go buy self tanner afterwards. I was reassured that there shouldn’t be any problems with the spots.Well, those spots NEVER went away. I bought self tanner, that didn’t help. Then, I noticed a whole portion under both of my arms was missed.I went back to the salon. Got re sprayed. Jess helped me out the second time. She was way more thorough and helpful.The color was great. Not orange.However, after being sprayed twice, my tan didn’t even last a few days. It was very patchy and ugly on my arms. I was very self conscious about my appearance.I will never have another spray tan again. Too patchy, hands and feet had very orange lines that wouldn’t rub off no matter what I did, and tan is very ugly as it fades.

Great place to get wedding hair and makeup done! I loved having all of my bridesmaids and my mom there at the same time to get ready. Plus its a cute space to have pictures taken as we got ready. We loved the way our hair and makeup turned out.

Went in for a simple eyebrow tint without the wax, which is listed as 15$. Ended up being charged 25$ and left unhappy with the discrepancy.After posting about my experience, I was contacted by management and was informed that what happened wasnt policy and that they wanted to fix it. They went out of their way to apologize and offer me a credit for my next tint on them, which I truly appreciate. The unexpected follow up completely changed how I felt about this business as I can now tell that customer satisfaction is a top priority to these ladies.

Ive had several services here. I had the hydrofacial done and for me it didnt do much. I also had my hair and makeup done for an event. The makeup was great the hair was ok.

I usually avoid waxing like the plague because it hurts so much but I went in on a whim and had Kristen wax my upper lip & brows as well as tint them. She was SO funny and sweet which made the whole experience super enjoyable. She did a fantastic job and I will be 100% coming here for all my beauty needs from now on :)

Glambeautybar is so pretty and really feels like a treat the minute you walk in. They offer you a special drink and the staff is awesome. I have had facials, tanning and waxing done and always love my experience. I recently brought my teenage girls in for eyebrow wax and the staff always makes them feel comfortable and beautiful! Treat yourself to Vancouvers best kept secret.

Very professional, also a very cute place. Got my eyebrows done for the very first time, and Alyx did them amazingly, wasn’t painful, also got them into a nicer shape then I had before. Really recommend this place :)

My review is long, but totally worth reading......I was traveling from Orlando, FL to Vancouver, WA for a Wedding & I had not washed my hair in almost a week...DONT JUDGE -having long hair with extensions makes me lazy (my lack of patience & skills to dry & style it, play a huge factor as it takes my 90 minutes when getting ready). My plan was to wash it on the morning of the Wedding day....but then, my plan was foiled by circumstances beyond my control. My BFF Vancouver friend, Sharon, recommended Glam Beauty Bar since all the Moms in her kids school go there, and said she would totally join me! We had never visited a Dry Bar before...if you know my LOVE of Champagne & all things alcohol, you would understand that I thought a Dry Bar was something in Utah that only served non-alcoholic beverages- Again, Dont Judge! I called & spoke with the SUPER FABULOUS, KATE!!!Kate was super sweet, professional & proficient since she totally squeezed Sharon & I in for an appt. time that totally fit our busy schedule for the day. Kates super fabulousness made us confident that we would be in good hands. Never, could I have ever, imagined that the hands I would be in, would be the BEST BEAUTY HANDS IN THE WORLD.....ALEX JAMESs!!!!When we arrived to Glam Beauty Bar, my breath was taken away with how SPECTACULAR THE SALON IS!!! It felt so LUSH & BOUJEE (in the best meaning of the word ever!) I wished we had more time as I could have stayed there all day. Glam Beauty Bar is like every Girly-Girls HAPPY PLACE! It makes you feel like youre a Celebrity by just being there. I mean, if someone would have taken a picture of Sharon & me, sitting there on the couch, surrounded by beautiful satin & velvet pillows, looking completely Gorgeous, just after being Glamified, under the glistening chandeliers, chatting it up, while sipping on mimosas....well, if that picture doesnt scream Vogue magazine, I dont know what does!!! And the best part was that we paid a minimal amount of money to look totally expensive!!And when I say that I was Glamified by Alex....it is an understatement! Words cannot express how ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS & AMAZING MY HAIR looked when Alex was done using her MAGICAL, BEAUTY HANDS on it!!! When I say, it was literally MY BEST HAIR EVER IN MY 47 YEAR OLD LIFE....I TRULY MEAN IT!!!! It was better than my Wedding Day hair!! I could not stop looking at myself & truly felt like a BLONDE BOMBSHELL....& I looked like that for 4 DAYS AFTERWARDS....my waves totally held up & looked exactly the same as they did, the day I left Glam Beauty Bar, 4 days later!!! There is so much CONFIDENCE, TALENT, CARE, PROFESSIONALISM, SKILL & LOVE in them MAGIC BEAUTY HANDS OF ALEX!!When I returned to Orlando, I went to a chain Blow Dry Bar &, well, lets just say.....it certainly WAS NOT anywhere near the experience or service I received @ Glam Beauty Bar!!! I was literally handed a small book with sketch drawings of 5 different hairstyles (TRUE STORY) & was asked which STYLE NUMBER I wanted done to my hair??!! IT was the most BASIC service & experience you could ever imagine. Very similar scenario as when I arrived at Glam Beauty Bar....I had not washed my hair in almost a week & was having it done for a Black Tie Gala I was attending. The stylist there said it was better if she used dry shampoo rather than washing it & began to douse my hair with so much of it that it looked disgustingly greasy! She rushed through, was very unprofessional & rough with my extensions & my waves completely fell out within 15 minutes of leaving the salon!!! I had to rush home so I could restyle my hair before the Gala.....total waste of money & it was way more expensive than what I paid @ Glam Beauty Bar!ORLANDO NEEDS AN ALEX JAMES/GLAM BEAUTY BAR!!!! I will certainly be back to get Glamified by Alex EVERY TIME I AM IN VANCOUVER!!!!I APPRECIATE YOU, ALEX JAMES, & YOUR AMAZING TEAM @ GLAM BEAUTY BAR!!

I got a full face wax done by Sarah. Nice girl, made me feel comfortable. Eyebrows came out great. I will be coming here from now on.
