Made an appointment to have tires rotated, took about 2 hours and I had an appointment for 11am, they didnt take my car in until around noon. We then added a break check at that point and they quoted and printed out the fee. I called to make an appointment for the brakes a week or so later and they said the cost went from $250 (AN OIL CHANGE AND BACK BRAKES) to $460 JUST for the back brakes and NO oil change. The paperwork says they honor their quotes for 30 days. They lied. Thanks anyways, looks like nothing has changed with Firestone. I will literally pay double elsewhere before ever giving them a cent again.
Professional crew, efficient. I was having one of those days (a series of unfortunate events caused me to miss my original appointment), and they kindly worked with me and were still able to fit my oil change into their schedule despite my conflict. Also, they caught that I accidentally ordered the wrong kind of oil for my car, which would have been dreadful, obviously. They corrected my mistake, and didn’t try to get more money out of me by miraculously finding, like, 10 other things that needed to be fixed. I’ll definitely be back 👏🙂
Excellent service. These guys made things right when Les Schwab in Orchards refused to honor their word. I highly recommend this store.
Appt at 9am didn’t take for tire rotation until after 10am then crashed car into equipment stand & did pretty good damage to front end. Employees apologized but that doesn’t help service nor wreaklessness of service employee
Made an appointment and showed up 5 minutes before the selected time. Was told it would take 1 hour for a slow leak repair on a tire (about a 10 minute job). 2 hours later they hadn’t even put my car on a lift to start the repair. Here’s an idea, don’t offer appointments if they are irrelevant. It leads your customers to believe you are efficient and appreciative of your customer’s time when you really don’t care.
Took my car into get an alignment and they snapped a stud off trying to get one of my wheels off, and then I scheduled to get the oil in my transmission changed but when I got there they told me they couldn’t do it because it had over 100k miles on it. a lot of car manufacturers recommend the first oil change AT 100k miles. Don’t waste your time or money here, take your car to a shop that knows what they’re doing.
Terrible experience. I was told my breaks, rotors, and calipers needed changes and it was over $1500.. I did it myself and found that it was okay. I called and spoke with a manager explaining that I wanted him to know that his crew is taking advantage of woman. He said he would call back after looking into it. That was more than a month ago.
Amazing customer service! Really accommodated to my needs and I didn’t feel like just another customer. Highly recommend!
Again, a very positive experience. I had my vehicle in for a wheel alignment and they made a couple adjustments, very well done, thank you. I also asked for a few tire price estimates for another vehicle of mine which was very helpful. All in All this place does a good job and the staff are very professional.
Fair pricing, friendly staff and prompt service.
Really they are so good and the staff are awesome, I like their prices too it’s reasonable.
Poor service. The front counter guys don’t have a clue what they are selling. They also damaged my wheel and they never called they just mounted it and went on. They refused to look at the pictures before they had it and after they had it. Way to go on taking care of you. Especially after you spend $1,300.00I don’t recommend this shop.
The service on my car was great.....even if you schedule an appointment be ready to wait. It took 3.5 hours for a wheel alignment and oil change. That was with an appointment.
Took my car in for an alignment, my low tire pressure warning light started flashing after picking it up. I scheduled an appointment to get a fuel system cleaning that they recommended and also a coolent system flush and replace of coolent fluid. I dropped my vehicle off thursday night. They didnt complete the job until saturday at 12:30. And they didnt even do the fuel system cleaning they recommended and upon asking about the flashing tire pressure light they stated that it would be a bad sensor and they had nothing to do with it even though they just got done messing with tires. Too many screw ups for me, i dont recomend this place and will never go back. Why would a company recommend a service keep your car for two days then tell you they couldnt do the fuel system cleaning. Why recommend it, why tell you they can do it if they cant.....
Good price, good service.
611 dollars to replace a 89 dollars alternator rip off that was the quote i was given
I went in and told them I wanted my alignment checked. They didnt do it and told me they couldnt because I needed to spend 1700+ to replace my pitman arm, idler arm and left front wheel bearing. Within the last 2 years I have replaced both wheel bearings and all the steering linkage. Drove vehicle at home and inspected it, found none of the listed parts needed replaced. Trying to make money off me like that is BS. Even if they thought that work should have been done, they should have completed the work I requested and then recommended the rest. Will never go there again
Had a tire replaced due to a hole too big to patch. Aside from prorating the cost, they replaced it with a better tire at the same price. In and out in a reasonable amount of time.
Clean, know their stuff. Rick, Eric and Jim Very knowledgeable. I like firestone
Get everything you can in writing before you let them work on your vehicle, especially warranties. At first they quoted me $560 for rear brakes. I had to remind them that I spent over $1000 on lifetime brakes. All a sudden they had a warranty. I bring it back for my warrantyrear brake job. I get told that there will be charges on the quote but they have to just warranty them out when I pick it up. I return to find out that my drums were not under warranty and after some pushback on my part they go down a whole $65. So $200 for a warranty job. Im sure Im at little at fault for not reading every single previous invoice, but please tell me to my face that my warranty job will be $265.Im a transplant from Texas and went to Firestone because I had great service there. I never really got the same feeling at this location. I hate to your use this term but today felt a little bait and switchy. It also felt like my last time here.
Crooks! They wanted to charge me $770 to fix the front left control arm and ball joints. I took my car to Mikes Auto Repair in Washougal and he was flabbergasted by their prices. Firestone was going to charge me $389 for a part that was only $89. On top of that, both R and L wheels needed major work. Mikes fixed the entire front end for only $900 - PLUS they gave me a free alignment. And if you want to catch COVID, go to Firestone. None of their mechanics wear masks and they dont social distance.
Reasonable prices and quick, friendly service. And most importantly for me, theyre open on the weekends, and they even let you schedule appointments online. Im definitely going to be a repeat customer.
I have always received good service. Decent prices.
11-2020 Caution poor warranty service from Manager Rick! A 2018 car with tires hardly used experienced a tire malfunction. Corporate said take the car to this service center as Bridgestone owns Firestone and they had 4 tires in stock and it wouldnt be a far drive. We take it to the store and get the run around on warranty. They suggest I leave the car there overnight. Next day I called corporate about details about my circumstance and they said due to my tire being so new (less than 1 year old) to have the shop call them if I run into any problems. Called this Firestone and they claimed they wont fix my tire under any warranty and they will not call corporate. I asked to speak with the manager and they said the manager Rick would not speak with me at all. Eventually corporate had to call the local branch. Then suddenly the tire was warrantied. Look elsewhere and try another Firestone.
Worst customer service I have ever seen. Rick was rude and clearly has no idea what customer service is let alone how to wear a mask and or disinfect anything. He lies through his teeth. Dont bring your car here you will end up with more issues Then when you brought it in. If I could give it zero stars I would.
Firestone is the best .....they took care of my worries and i drove off feeling grateful
Was on a road trip and picked up a nail in my tire. Came here and they immediately got it repaired and aligned the front end. Much appreciated.
I love Firestone! As a cross country rideshare driver I visit their locations often and many Portland area location including this one have a clear labor shortage. I arrived at 6:45 am with the mindset of (Im getting an oil change today) after being turned away from 3 previous Portland locations on busy afternoons I said one oil change please he said not today and Im pissed! 4 visits 3 separate stores and I cant get an oil change. Ive had better experience in the NE and SE USA... NW USA Firestone locations sucks because you evidently need an appointment and Im busy, Im the customer and it should be your pleasure to take my money and not a chore. Thanks for reading my rant. Peace love and happiness 😀
Highly recommend this location! Great staff, service and promptness. I come regularly for oil changes, but needed other services once or twice. Always helped with kind employees and no run arounds! Thank you Firestone 4th plain for your outstanding service.
They were they were professional and did a great job
Great service. Very professional. Got the job done without an appointment, in and out the same day. New wheel bearings and new front tires. Great guys, they know what they are doing and dont try to scam you into getting more done than is needed. same day service without an appointment!--most places make you wait 3 days to even look at the car and give and. estimate. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Very professional, great work.Friendly and helpful staff.
This place is awesome might be my new favorite Firestone, very impressed and veteran friendly.
They replaced all brake components on my daughters newer car because they said that it was unsafe to drive. Then when we had to take it to another shop for the same problem 2 weeks later they informed us that no components were actually replaced besides the break pads themselves. They Charged her over 700v dollars and scammed her. Turning it over to my attorney with pics of the replacement parts lol that look identical to the ones that were on the car before she went in. Busted
Came into the store needing a brand new tire on a rim that was already off of the car 2 hours later they still havent had it changed
Great for all weather tires...
Excellent Service!
Would not suggest anyone to go here. You get talked down to and they try and trick you into additional services not needed. We were sent from another friestone location who was very educated and helpful, just not able to do what was needed at the time. However this location the employees have horrible customer service and they lack the education to properly provide information to make a decision. They had to Google information which was the same information we already provided to them which of course when we first came in they tried to say we needed our alternator done, which is wrong! And we explained we already confirmed this twice. They couldnt even locate our fuses. Which im not a mechanic and we found it without issues. They couldnt even give us an estimate due to the guy couldnt even find the part in the system. Then they tried to sell us to do more diagnostic testing.I would not trust this place at all.
Avoid this expensive repair shop
The gentlemen at this location are fast, friendly and professional. They rotated my tires, fixed a tire leak and checked my car out super fast. Thank you so much!
The staff are extremely friendly and professional. I have always received excellent service and have been to this store multiple times.
Very helpful
Needed to get my car fixed couple weeks ego and came to this Firestone spontaneously! Had a fella work on my car (Andrew I think), he did an excellent job! Car ran excellent afterward and in much better shape over all then when I came in. Perfect for this winter weather. I would highly recommend this location, Ive been to other shops which did a way worse job and left it dirty. I am so excited I told all my friends to come to this location. One of the best shops Ive ever been to. Guys at the front desk are also very friendly. Good Job to the manager of this shop, you have a great team!
Eric is a rockstar. Helps me out every time. Draws pic to make you understand and gives it to you straight. All the guys there rock!
Dropped my truck off for service. The tech heard the front brakes squeal. He found a broken retaining clip. Repaired no charge. We couldnt make it back in time to pick the truck up before the shop closed. They parked the truck inside overnight. Great service. Will go back .
Several years ago I used them and had a bad experience, they were rude, tried to lie to me about my vehicle (I brought it in for an alignment and they told me a bunch of things that needed to be replaced...) When I informed them that I had just replaced said items hence why I was getting the new alignment they backpedaled and told me they couldnt actually align my vehicle because it was modified. Fast forward a couple of years and I figured Id give them a try again as they are close to my house. I call, make and appointment and take time off work. Show up early and they tell me I will have to come back tomorrow as they dont have a specialist in to do my alignment... I said BS, you have a vehicle on the alignment machine right now... Then they tell me I will have to drop my vehicle off and leave it for the rest of day. They said my vehicle was a very complicated vehicle to align and would require several hours and they would need more time and I would cost extra for it... I drive a Toyota truck, not a Porsche or fancy sports car. Avoid this shop at all costs they are crooked as the snake river
I bought my tires from an online merchant and had them shipped to this Firestone for mount/balance. The employees were all very kind and helpful. Any questions I had were answered respectfully and honestly. They helped to take special care with regard to the fact that my car is lowered and gave me updates as I requested them. I would definitely recommend this shop for tire installs and general customer service; since I did not buy tires or have any mechanical work done here, I can only give my feedback regarding the mounting/balancing of new tires.
Id never been to this establishment before but I will definitely return. I didnt have an appointment but blew out a tire and needed a new one ASAP. There were other tire businesses around but no one could fit me in their schedule for several hours. I walked in and asked if I needed an appointment. Larry replied yes usually but whats going on. I told him my situation and he fit me in. He told me it would be about an hour and a half. Not too bad. He called me 40 mins later to say my car was ready! And for much cheaper than other competitors! I will definitely go to this location again. What a great experience!
Everyone was professional and friendly, even though they were busy they managed to fit me in for an oil change and only took about an hour.
I appreciated the upfront and honest explanation of how long the process would take despite my appointment, the salesman who checked me out explained my invoice and got me checked out with excellent customer service. Firestone Complete Auto Care on Fourth Plain Blvd is my new place to go for my car needs as they do a good job and are right by my house! Thank You!
Super fast and friendly plus professional and thorough service. AWESOME WORK GUYS! YALL ROCK! They were slammed and squeezed me in and still got me on my way earlier that their estimated completion time. IMPRESSIVE!!
Good customer service. But they need better technicians. Maybe better payed techs to fight 8-5 syndrome.
Fast, friendly and honest service! Thanks for doing what you do!
Took my car in to find out why my windshield wipers would not work, got a call a few hours later letting me know the issue and cost to fix. They got the job done quick and when I picked up my car the gentleman helped me with applying it to my Firestone credit account so I didnt have to pay for it all up front. I could tell they were extremely busy and it was very close to closing time so I am very grateful of how helpful they were. I will be using them again for sure.
They were helpful and professional. Even replaced a missing bolt.
Had new tires and oil change. Oil started leaking later on my driveway. Crawled underneath and found oil leaking from filter that was 1 1/2 turns loose. Not seated or tightned correctly. Brought in that same day noticed the leak and they corrected, quick and easy with no issues. Service people freindly and you should know this could happen anywhere (even your own garage) were human. It is how firestone handled that makes it so much better then anywhere else. Thanks Firestone!
Very professional staff, they know what they are doing . I always take my car there .
I got a flat tire on my fleet vehicle Saturday evening, Enterprise has them listed as a preferred vendor and one of the few tire shops open on Sundays. Eric M. was a pleasure to work with, I highly recommend this location!
They charge for checking your car AND then dont give you credit towards service. They wanted $1200 for a new radiator and two tires. Tires are expensive and I only needed one.
Rip off refused to sell me a tire unless I replaced all of them
Their coupons and services are great 👍
I got a battery installed. The price was competitive and the service was good. They checked my old battery first to make sure I needed one. You can watch their work from the waiting room through large windows.
Firestone actually was worse than useless. My experience: I asked if they had a tire for my car. Instead of doing what any normal tire shop would do and ask the size and check their inventory, they said were too busy to check now but come on in and well check it out! So I get there and they say they dont carry that size. So great, Sunday at 5:50PM, too late to go to any other tire shop. I got the tremendously useful suggestion of get a hotel. Turns out Wal Mart was open later than them on Sundays.Had I called anywhere else I might have been able to get this fixed same-day.
Great place! So helpful and kind.
Not very helpful, passing through town looking to get alignment said they were booked through the week. It would be nice if they offered a number to a Firestone near by. Thankfully Google will do their customer service for them.
Only once have I ever received good service at this location. They quote you a wait time and dont actually have your car done in that time. I will drive across town to the hazel dell location. Better service.
Ordered rims and tires 3 weeks ago, promised 2 weeks still no rims and tires! Already prepaid! Bout to be a lawsuit!
My appointment for an oil change and tire rotation was at 1:30pm, I arrived at 1:20pm for the appointment. My car wasnt even on the rack until 2:25pm. Here it is 3pm and its still not finished. I dont expect to be out of here until at least 3:30. It doesnt take 2 bloody hours to do a simple oil change and rotate 4 bloody tires. I could have gotten my oil changed in 15 minutes at the valvoline oil change.Update: I finally got out of there at 3:15pm and they tried charging me for the tire rotation, I bought the tires at firestone for bloody sake.
Respectfull, very informative of prices, and good variety of tires to choose from.
Went in to have my wifes car serviced. I was refused service because I gave them a negative review, since they way over charged my wife for repairs on a previous visit. I gave them plenty of opportunity to correct their mistake and got ignored. Anyway, since I gave them a negative review previously, one of the head people there demanded that we leave and never return to his store ever again. If we did not leave or ever returned, we were told that they would call the police on us and have us arrested for trespassing. Claiming that my review of the previous visit cost him his CSI Bonus and his store bonus. Other customers in the lobby were shocked by the treatment my wife and I had received. Really??? They charged my wife nearly 20% sales tax instead of Washingtons 8.8%.In short, if you ever write a bad review for this location, they will refuse service to you in the future and may threaten to call the cops on you if you dont leave. How does a business like this stay open???Their facility is clean, but their customer service is probably the worst in the business!!!Steer clear of this place!!
Always had a pleasant experience here
My tire is at 21 lbs. I walked in and asked for help. Sorry, were full. Maybe an offer to air it up for me would be nice before it has to be towed somewhere. I understand a full schedule and a busy shop but Les Schwab is just as busy and was able to take 120 seconds and air up my tire and look for any obvious problems. Thank you Les SchwabbIve brought all my vehicles to this Firestone location for years. But I wont be back to this location.
They will be upfront with you and honest with you from the get go. Best place for front end alignments
We all know, sadly, one cannot get a single item order right at a drive-in these days. Well, its the same at this Firestone. I had my tires rotated here 25 July 2019, and I requested the tires be adjusted to truck specs. The lame place got it wrong. I had to go to a different place to have the tires inflated correctly. Give me a brake!!!
Great service great prices
Their initial estimate shows a $50 discount, but the final bill was only $40. They refused to give me the $50 discount, even though I spent $650!! And their discrepancy was clearly their discrepancy!!!
They are honest and do great work. I finally found a mechanic that took the time to explain problems with my truck. He saved me $$$ in the future
I love these guys. They always take good care of me.
My husband and I have been taking our vehicles here for a long time now. Always 100% professional. A little on the spendy side but the quality service makes up for it.
I will not be returning nor do I recommend someone I hate go here.-1 I scheduled an appointment for females friends car. Time expectation wasnt kept.-2 quote we received wasnt what they charged-2 worst customer service Ive experienced. Manager of location talked to me first before her, the car owner. He talked condescendingly to my friend, was impatient with her, rudely wouldnt maintain the price quote. Making matters worse he offered service saying that if she was back in the area (traveling through) she could get a free oil change. Insult to injury.Avoid the bad experience.
Nice chairs, and efficient work. Extremely friendly employees explained everything, would recommend to anyone.
They tried to way over charge me.
Great service on time at a reasonable price.
Got there early and got right in. Services priced very fairly and the work was done flawlessly.
Couldnt help with the smallest nail puncture in the center of the tire because my cousin had put fix a flat in it. I hate the stuff too but come on. Is this not a tire center? I had to drive an hour to do a three minute repair in there parking lot because they were too incompetent to help her. Poor poor customer service. She wouldve bought a new tire, paid them to patch, paid them to plug, anything. But they simply couldnt help and continued to pre close shop like they couldnt wait to get out of there saturday. Pretty lame if you ask me. Definitely wont be purchasing any more tires from this location...
Open on Sunday unlike competitors. Good communication. Acceptable price for the work done.
U I like u
These guys are so rude smartasses EVERY SINGLE TIME Ive come in or called. I take my business to other Firestones in Portland, even though I live 5 lights away from this location. The phone generally goes unanswered for hours on end. The guys at the Firestone on Sandy Blvd. in Portland have been my go to location when I lived in Portland for 9 years. Never had any complaints, always been total sweethearts. P.S. The Vancouver location STILL has the WRONG ADDRESS on Google. So youll end up circling the wrong part of town and miss your appointment time.
Always great service and reliable trustworthy work
Been going to Firestone for 20 years in three different cities across the United States. Always great service.
My visit here was very pleasant! They were a steller group of guys, who told me exactly what I wanted to know. I plan on visiting them again.
Stopped by on 12/18/2016 Sunday morning with a low tire prob, I was met with a smart ass attitude and not much interest in trying to help me my estimate to check if it has a nail in the tire and rotate tires, and he said the work should take around 1 1/2 hours and when I said I would bring it back, I asked if he could give it a quick look-over to see if he could see anything in the tire, He didnt want to unless it was on a lift! when he noticed I didnt like the attitude and wanted to leave he said he would look at it, the address is 7739 ne fourth plain blvd, Vancouver, WA. Look for the service writer with his hands in his pockets Hs a real Winner!
Went in a while back to get 2 new tires and rotate the other tires. They didnt properly balance any of the tires that they worked on and they couldnt even totate the tires right. They were ok to begin with on the pricing then once I got there, they jacked the price up. I had asked them to fix their mistake and fix the rims and said it would be another $150 plus over 90 mins for a wait time. I wouldnt go here again even if they were the last tire shop open in all of the west coast. Really horrible shop.
This place beat me out of over 2000.00 suppose to do wheel alignment and rack and pinion, charged 420.00 just for fluid exchange 70.00 is the normal cost and I didnt ask for this procedure. As we speak Im having new tires and another mechanic going over there work and test driving . Car still pulls left and shakes when over 75mph. Bad job over priced.
THIS LOCATION BROKE OUR CAR AND REFUSES RESPONSIBILITY.This comedy of errors began when my husband brought our vehicle in to have a tie rod replaced. The work was completed and when the vehicle was returned to him he was informed that they had decided, without authorization, to flush the radiator. Because they had flushed the radiator, again WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION, they wanted to charge us an additional $25 to replace the fluids. The staff member said that he “expected that you wouldn’t mind the extra expense”. We declined and he replaced the fluid himself. As soon as he poured in the new fluid we immediately noticed a huge puddle underneath the car. I was suspicious but willing to give the benefit of the doubt. Maybe it had been damaged before, and the flush just removed something blocking the leak. I decided to take the car to another car repair shop and had the radiator replaced at my own expense, and with no complaint even though it had NOT been leaking before we took it to Firestone.Fast forward about a week or so and I notice a loud grinding noise coming from the tire on which Firestone had worked. My husband brings the car back in to see what is happening with their work and the staff tells him that the grinding is from a rock that went up in there. They say that they removed the rock and return the car to him. The grinding continued before he even left the parking lot. Obviously, a rock wasn’t the problem. He turned right around, in their parking lot, and bring it back to the repair bay. They look under the car again and tell him that it turns out that THEY INSTALLED THE WRONG PART. The tie rod installed was NOT the one that should have been and it was rubbing against the wheel well. I was starting to get frustrated because I paid a huge chunk of change to simply get the tie rod replaced and having the wrong part installed is just unacceptable. They tell him to leave the vehicle with them, and they would install the correct part that evening. When he returned to pick up the vehicle, which had been with Firestone all that day excepting the previous failed attempt to leave their lot, the vehicle would NO LONGER TURN. The steering wheel is basically locked and incredibly hard to turn. The steering had been perfectly fine before turning around in their lot and returning because of the grinding just hours before. The staff member who was closing told him that the car had been test driven by technicians twice already and to go ahead and leave it in the lot and return in the morning so that they can take another look. This morning my husband went in to talk with the manager, Larry Fried, and figure out what is going on. Larry Fried was incredibly and unreasonably rude. In one breath, he says that he’s been working there for 30 years and knows what he’s talking about, with the next breath he says he “doesn’t have a crystal ball” to see what could happen. Now he’s demanding that we pay an extra $1500 to replace the rack and pin which he claims is causing the brand-new steering issue. The same steering issue that DID NOT EXIST AT ALL when the car was pulled back into the repair bay. The same steering issue that DID NOT EXIST AT ALL before the car was supposedly driven by two technicians.I called the corporate phone line and I am waiting to hear back from the DM. While on the phone line the customer service agent, who was a pleasure to talk to, told us that the situation sounded like it was not handled right on Firestone or Larry Fried’s part and she would be forwarding our case to a district manager. At this point our car is undrivable and after sitting in Firestone’s lot I had tow it to another mechanic. Our trust in the Firestone brand is broken and my wife and I will be sure to tell literally every person in our family, social, and professional circles to avoid their service and products. The situation should have been made right from the beginning instead of treating loyal paying customers rudely and deceptively.
On the way home from oregon to seattle we blew a front tire. It was a Sunday at 5:45pm so we knew most tire places werent opened. Luckily this shop disnt close for another 15 minutes. We called them up and the manager and his men happily stayed opened late and helped us get a new tire mounted and balanced so we could be on our way home. The staff was very nice and understanding. We really appreciated all of their help in such a stressful situation.
Quick and friendly, usually use the after hours drop box and pick my car up the next day. Prices are ok.
Had my wife take our 07 Ford F150 with the 5.4 triton there to get new tires and asked them to do an oil change,They gladly took my money for the tires but refuse to do the oil change due to liabiliity because theres a ticking noise coming from the motor, a normal ticking noise that these F-150s with the 5.4 Triton motor produce. Such b*******.. maybe you guys shouldnt be mechanics then
Enjoy getting your car screwed up here. I went in for a simple alignment and the technician (Melvin) screwed up the shifter cable assembly by forcing the shifter too far to the right (past 5th & 6th gear). This in turn stretched the shifter cables and damaged a bushing so now I have a bunch of slop in my shifter.Went in to ask the manager (Larry Fried) to replace the part they broke and he merely blamed it on me. Guess hell enjoy some youtube fame from the footage on the dashcam you can hear the shifter adjuster being ripped out of position. Now Im out $300 just for parts. Thanks guys!
