This place was my go to for a long time but this last time I went I had nothing but problems, first they sold me tires that had a leak so the next day I had to pump up my tire and go to a different tire shop and have patched, then while the shop was patching my tire they noticed that all 4 tires I had just purchased were cracking and about to blow out, I returned to St Johns Tire shop the next day and showed them the tires and asked how they could sell tires from 2004 legally and especially how they didnt notice the date or the damages or the leak for that matter. they simply said things happen and then when I tried to get my money back and take m y business elsewhere they said that they didnt have my old tires still (from 3 days prior) and that they didnt have any other tires in my size....so I ended up having to pay for new tires to be ordered to the shop and get the old failing tires they sold me replaced with the new ones....all in all this cost me twice as much as I would have paid anywhere else and was a very big hassle....avoid these guys as they are going downhill and there employees dont seem to care anymore

My wife went here all the way from Portland to get the tires where the price was quoted over the phone. This shop installed the tires then raised the price without letting us know and would not release the car, fix the price or give us our old tires back and we were told 40k mile warranty with life time rotation which they then threatened saying they would not give the warranty all while my wife and crying kids were waiting in the heat trying to get the car back. And even after paying the inflated price so my wife could leave the guy there continued to yell at my wife and argue with her and refused to give her a receipt for the tires while she kept saying that the kids were hot and crying and she just wanted to leave. Worst tire experience we have ever had.

So frustrated with this place. I purchased 4 supposedly brand new tires from this shop 8 months ago. Total $685 They do not do alignments and failed to tell me that at the time of purchase and instead sent me out the door to pay to get it done elsewhere. Since then I have drove less than 10k. I had a flat and went to the same place to have them fixed as they should still be under warranty. I was told they could not fix them as I did not but them new. WTH! so pretty much they sold me used tires and charged me for new and would fix my tire.DO NOT GO HERE

Dishonest. I paid for two new tire sensors along with a set of used tires. When they couldn’t program them and make the light go out the owner sent me to another shop. That guy said the sensors were bad.They didn’t even put in the sensors and the installation kids are rude extremely rude.Don’t shop here....dishonest.

Update: 6/4/20 just got another set of tires for my sons truck this time. Got another great deal and great customer service.***************************************************My husband drove up, as soon as he got there he was greeted and taken cared of. We got 4 brand new tires installed. Great customer service, nice guys, very quick, and a great price!! We definitely recommend them .

Really bummed out because these people have always done a good job for me in the past at a fair price. I get there and the guy tells me 10 minutes and he will get to me and quoted me $35 to put a tire on a rim and mount it for me. 45 minutes later he tells me to go around back. The guy back there tells me to park along fence on the outside of the gate. I wait 30 minutes goes by and the lady from the tavern whos property I am on tells me to move my vehicle. I ignore her demands thinking it will just be a few minutes. Another hour goes by and they finally get my tire done. They bring it up and he tells me to go pay and tells me $45. I went back out and my tire still sitting there not mounted. I wait another hour and finally grab my tire and leave. They lost a good customer today!

I needed tires really bad and then the snow hit! They got me in right away. I was there for maybe 20 mins and then on my way. Good prices and they were professional. Recommend trying them out, I left happy and with a free t-shirt!

Please stay away from this shop. I came in here after needing some new tires on my accord and after discovering what these men did I am just glade my little one and I are safe now. Being a single mother this shop took advantage of me and put on tires that nearly exploded on the side of the freeway with my one year old daughter in the car. After just 3 weeks of getting the tires I noticed a thumping noise and brought the car to my father to inspect and he stumbled upon the damaged tires. Turns out they sold me tires that were 11 years old and damaged. After bringing my vehicle to a reputable shop to get new tires the owner told me he couldnt believe someone could put such unsafe tires on a car. I had the tires for exactly 3 weeks and 2 days and put maybe 350 miles on them. St. Johns Tire Shop saw someone with no knowledge of automotive and decided they can make a few hundred dollars easily. They saw my daughter with me and did not care for my safety one bit. I hope the police report I filed leads somewhere but this shop should not be in business putting people in danger. Again please stay away from people like this.

Pulled in at 5pm home by 5:30 with 4 Brand new all season light truck tires didnt break the bank good people in there 😀

Don’t recommend this place to anybody. Went in to get two tires changed. They put on different sized tires then the ones that I had originally. I ended up having 2 tires at 215 instead of 225 all around. The tires were no good, tread was bad and one tire had a bump on it. Had to buy new tires.

Went to get a flat tire fixed they told me I needed a new tire when they went to find a replacement they didnt have one, so I went down the street to another shop. Come to find out my rim was slightly bent so the seal was broke..my tire was fine.

Spent 275 on 2 sets of new tires for my wifes Camry, not even 2 months later we had 3 flats and the tread was wearing on both front tires, wasted some money on those, had to drop 600 at les schaub but hey its worth it, because now I have a warranty for 45,000 miles plus they fix flats for free, if you want tires that last make a good effort to pay more its worth it.

Not sure these guys know what theyre doing. They dont even how to take off the spare on a Chevy. Totally ruined the locking part of it on my car. Dismantled it and never put back. Also seems like its a the basics for a tire shop but I replaced two tires and they put two of them on one side and kept a different type tread pattern on the other side. Arent you supposed to have same tread pattern front and back. No left and right. Im sorry guys but having cheap prices wont keep you going long.

Don’t shop here! Sure they are friendly and prices are great. The owner told us 20 minutes. Yeah right, 4 tires mounted and balanced? We were the only ones there. They have 4 floor jacks so I thought maybe... but then the owner sent 2 more customers back and we got BLOCKED in there with all the tires off and up on jacks. They took care of the two other people first despite every protest I could think of. I became extremely agitated and the more upset I was the funnier they thought it was. Integrity is everything. They don’t have any. Do yourself a favor and go to Les Schwab. You will get the respect you deserve.

Gotto place i came in 30 min before closing hours,was told 30-40 min and ill be out.waited for an hr and no one got to me, left the yard and with in a minute realized i had a nail in my tire!! Didnt expect more from a mexican business. Not worth saving a $100 and get no warranty.

Called them on the phone told them wheel size they give me the price, I came there waited for one hour asked him if he wants to look at it he said nothing to look at. After an hour came out looked at the wheels and said more work cost me more. After waiting an hour he wanted more money. Dont recommend, not reliable I can only imagine if there is a warranty issue. Go to reputable shop.

I liked how fast they could deal with changing all my tires and the low price but I’m just mad I didn’t get a receipt and no warranty at all. I went to les Schwab and they said they gave me bad tires with bad treads and over pumped the tires them selves.I really liked how they did it fast but if they gave me a receipt and a written warranty I would have rated 5 stars. They seemed unprofessional and sketchy when I handed them cash for the tires.I’m just afraid that if the tires get damaged they won’t do anything about it since I don’t have any physical proof of purchase or any warranty.Other than that they did a good job.

Forget it.Bunch of Mexicans talking trash in their native language about you if you dare to act like you know what tires are.I wanted things done a specific way because Im a commercial driver and its my responsibility to make sure my truck is legal in every way possible.They told me they couldnt put the manufacturer min. 80 PSI into my tires they mounted and balanced because the tires are old.If the tires are too old to safely hold manufacturer minimum PSI maybe you shouldnt sell them anymore? Youd think basic knowledge would be applied here... not from these Mexicans, forget it.A business only there to make money and screw its cities residents over wont last long! Count the days till this place gets shut down.BBB Will hear about them from me personally.

Sold me a $40 tire that was close to new. On I, 5 bridge blew out less than 24hrs. Would not replace tire, said they mark their tires. DONT GO THERE NO QUALITY AND DONT STAND EHIND ANYTHING. I WOULD GUVE IT A. 0 IF I COULD. THEY SOLD ME A BF GOODRICH TIRES THAT WAS RECALLED

Saturday: I bought 2 front tires, and one of them went flat within an hour. I tried calling St. Johns tire shop right away, but they didnt answer. I didnt have wheels all weekend.Monday: I called the shop and explained my issue with the tire. They suggested I bring the car back, but wouldnt send a tow. I had to pay for that myself. First they tried convincing me that I ran over a nail, but backed off after I pointed out that the hole was on the sidewall and there were no nails in the tire. Then they tried to paint me as a horrible customer, asking questions like do you drive fast, and telling me Im scary. But finally they agreed to replace the tires.Imagine how stunned I was when they tried replacing the one damaged tire, and not the pair. That would leave me with 3 different tire types on my car. I may have gotten a tad scary at that point. But it didnt take them more than 5 minutes to replace the final tire after they decided to do so.Cherry on top... girlfriend got 4 tires replaced the same day, at the same time. While all this was going on, she noticed a lug nut was missing where they had worked 2 days before. Their response?She never had one.Buyer beware.

I went and bought all 4 new tire, 285/70/17 I ask him which tire is more smoother then m/t he sold me mud terrain instead and started to shake at high speed he also posted the 4 tire for example at 530 include balancing when I get there and bought the tire came out 580. He lie to sell his tire the owner.

I had a respectful young lady take my call and was very nice. They didnt have the size I wanted but Ive been wanting to go up one size and they did have that. They were priced well what the tires were worth. Theres another shop slightly cheaper but that shop is in total disarray and only accept cash. St Johns will get my business for now on!

This place used to be good and was my go-to for tires. Now their prices change depending on which employee you talk to. Mounting and balancing is actually more expensive than chain competitors like Les Schwab. I felt like I was being sized up to determine a price the last time I went, rather than just being given a solid price tag. This is disappointing as I have been a long time customer. I don’t need to haggle or be swindled and these business tactics are no way to keep a customer. I’ll be going elsewhere now.

Higher priced than the tire shop off hwy 99, and the one in orchards for used tires. Hell the other 2 shops only wanted 60 to mount 4 tires i already had, and these guys wanted 80. Was hoping their prices would be around the same, but ill travel across town, instead of down the street to save a few bucks. They forgot what used tires should not be so expensive i guess.

There is no doubt these guys work hard, but they are poor at what they do. I bought a set of tires from this place and can’t say I was impressed. Their sale methods are unknowlegable and exaggerated. I looked at a set of used tires that were advertised as have 75% tread, upon looking at then the were more like 75% wore. The salesman spoke out his ass trying to explain things he knew nothing about, fortunately I did. Once I settled on some tires, I watched as they were mounted and balanced. I noted they had placed weights on the outside of the alloy wheel which was okay. What was not okay is they placed several weights that were spaced out. This is not industry standards. I mentioned this to one of the guys and he said it was a new machine and new way. I then brought it up to the salesman/ cashier. Once again he was talking out his ass and knew very little of what he was talking about. He indicated the Snap on guy had trained them this way as it was correct. We debated some and asked if I wanted to try and balance them. I told him I would, but he then backpedaled. STAY AWAY- inept-unprofessional-untrained.

This place is very unprofessional. The owner is dishonest and only looking after has shop and not his customers. I went there to patch a tire after they took the tire off and patched it the owner came around the corner and told me that its not safe for me to drive this tired on the road that I need to buy a new one well two months ago I bought a set from these guys. A brand new set spent about $400.. after the tire was inspecting I was told it wasnt good so I asked the owner how much will charge me for a brand new tire that will match the Set ..he said I will have to break a set of new tiers or I can order a single one tomorrow.. I say whatever works better then he came out couple seconds later and said he had found a tire .it was brand new.. so he said it will be $135 for one brand new tire plus the patches that were added to one tire that I brought there to be inspected even though I was not able to use the old tire that are brought he still charge me being the fact that I spent over $80 I think those patches should have been free he told me they were like $5 a piece at that point I told him why he was charging me he said quote to quote --( I have to look out for myself and make sure Im getting my money). At that moment I like to him and I said thank you but I will never come here again I always get mix estimates from the 2 supposedly owners are theyre not stable with their quotes and they dont know how to work on cars I have scratches all over my car I dont know how its a tire shop other than that this place is trashed... And its no good... Tthis business its only looking after themselves theyre greedy people selfish. ... When I went there to get my tire expecting I have asked them if they can put air in my tires and they said its$15 I looked at them and I got more even frustrating this place is a scamming look at it it looks like a junkyard trying to run a tire shop out of it unstable the couches are burnt smell like ass theres no waiting Lobby..this place is a joke .... Dont take your car to St jonh tier shop. Its a rip off and they like to like to you and scam your money..... Especially the two owners ... They like to rip you off..

Got a set of used tires. Was advertised as 70% tread and asked to see them measure it with a gauge and was told they don’t have one. (What tire shop doesn’t have a depth gauge?) Went to the auto store right after and bought a gauge and measured between 4/32” and 5/32”. Charged me to get a replacement for an actual good tire. Wouldn’t recommend

Too bad there’s no option for 0 stars.. I never leave reviews but I felt like I really had to on this one.. Very Poor service.. These guys don’t care if you’re a returning customer at all...bought a set of new tires from them costing over $1000 dollars, then caught a bolt, so I figured they’d patch it for free since I spent over 1000 dollars there... ha, he tells me that a patch job is $15 I reminded them that I bought the tires from them, they didn’t care, then the manager said something in Spanish to the employee and he translates it to me saying since it’s a big tire it’ll be $20.. I’m like, wow you use the same machine but ok.. just take it off the rim and see if its worth patching since the hole is big, so he takes it off, the hole ended up being too big to patch but they still encouraged me to patch it just to get $20.. they also found another small nail puncture and wanted to charge me $10 more.. so I told them It’ll buldge up anyway since the hole is so big, I’ll have to order a new tire.., as I’m heading out the door, the manager yells something in Spanish to the employee, he comes out the door and tells me it’s $10 to take the tire off the rim.. I brought the tire to them already off the vehicle.. never coming back that’s for sure..

Imagine to my surprise after a long day of work I come to my vehicle to go home to find I ran over a screw on the way to work. I get blown off by one truck driver and end up showing up 20 min before closing time after I arranged for tires at 2:00pm. As friendly as can be the owner said no problem sold me a great pair of used tires for a good price and stayed late to put them on. Now thats service. Im ecstatic! Most will tell you theyll get to it tomorrow, but this man came in like a hero and made my night. Thank you St. Johns tire shop, its obvious to me service is #1 on your priorities.

Just trying to get prices was almost impossible. I very clearly stated my tire size, and asked for what options they had, they hung up on me twice because they didnt want to answer pricing questions. Very strange. Called back and asked for the manager, apparently the manager is the one who hung up on me both times. Terrible service, l will shop elsewhere.

Its a dirty old shop..But I bought 4 new 50,000 mile tires for $420 out the door. Customer Service isnt great but price was my need so I dealt with it. Overall I would recommend and will shop here again.

I called about a used tire, and they said they could have it done in 10 minutes. I went in and the original quote was $34. Its a little high from the normal $20 used tire, but I didnt want to drive all across town to get one on a tire with a screw in it. I was literally one minute away from this location when the guy said to come on in since they werent busy they could get me done quick. Upon arriving I parked and went inside and was greeted by a young lady who asked if I was the one who just called. I said yes, and she told me they had the tire ready for me to pull around back. I got around back, and was confused as to where to park. Then, a truck from the main road (St. Johns) came barreling in like a raging bull, and drove right up into the only work bay they had! I thought that was odd; since Im the one they were expecting. I called from my phone and asked where they wanted me to park, and some young guy (Spanish Speaking Accent) says the charge is going to be a different price; its going to be $47!! I just hung up and left!Dont go here! They are Mexicans who will cheat you simply because youre white!! The last time I got used tires from Mexicans they sold me tires that are winter tires, and during the summer after I bought them, they literally FELL APART from the heat!! Les Shwab was the ones who told me the tires were the wrong ones, and whoever put them on knew they were!!WARNING: If the tire shop is ran by Mexicans... SAY ADIOS MUCHACHAS!!

Don’t go here for anything heavy duty. The owner priced me at $100 over what other local shops completed it for, only realize that his shop was unable to perform the tire change in the first place. Wasted about an hour of my day only to see that he didn’t have the correct sockets, lug keys, or proper equipment. The employee told me to shut the f up after I was irritated that he tried using a crescent wrench and channel lock plyers to get the job done. Very unsatisfactory to say the least.

I would have given zero stars but that isnt an option.6 years of being a loyal customer to this place. Always quick and cheap. This time is the last time they will be seeing my business. I bought a set of used tires. I had one explode violently on the interstate just 2 hours after I had it installed. I suspected that they were over inflated but the accident happened to soon. I had to buy a new tire at walmart in a hurry. After the tow, tire, and several hours of head ache Im out almost 250$! When I went in to talk to the owner about it all I asked was that he paid for the tire I purchased. Not the fender damage my car sustained, not the tow fee, not even the several hours of my life wasted. I was told, no, you should have bought new ones. After six years thats the response I get. Several thousand dollars later thats the service they provide. Please keep this in mind when looking into doing business with these crooks.

If there were a less than zero rating, this place would get it. Called about a set of tires, was quoted $400 out the door. Upon arriving, was given a quote of $550 for the same. When commenting on the fact that the previous quote was $150 dollars less on the phone, was promptly accused of being A lying white f--k piece of s--t Then, this Hispanic employee started puffing his chest, putting on a macho show, and reaching into his jacket for something (dont know what it was). The boss showed up about that time and decided he should side with his employee as opposed to making a sale. Informed same that, instead of turning one or both of them into hamburger, I would take the passive/aggressive option. To put it bluntly, I wouldnt recommend this place to an individual that I loathed. Racist policies are a two edged sword that swings both ways. Utterly repugnant place of business.
