I recently came into the vancouver quick lane for an oil change. I’d been there a couple times and had good experiences and the folks were nice. So I didn’t have and pre existing qualmsHowever this time around I asked them specifically to look at my breaks too since I wasn’t sure when I had them serviced last. The guy came out and told me after the oil change that my break pads were down to 4mm (3mm is critical to replace) and all of the rotors were heavily worn down and needed to be replaced. All in all would be 900 bucks. I was very skeptical because I know a little about cars and it didn’t make sense that 6 months ago I had the breaks looked at and everything was fine, and I work from home so I’m not driving anywhere...fast forward I took it into les Schwab in camas the same day and asked them to verify. They brought me out to the shop and showed me the pads and rotors. The pads were at 6mm (half life) and all of the rotors were completely fine which is what I expected. I don’t want to point the finger and say any names but I was very disappointed and probably won’t be going back for any other service after this experience. My advice, be very weary about anything β€œadditional” they tell you about is wrong with your car. Because more than likely they are up selling you...my 2 cents

Ive been going to this location for years and am consistently happy with them! Customer service is great (I believe it was Jeremy who helped me), answered all my questions and walked me through suggested service and were generally friendly and helpful. I take some of what they say with a grain of salt because I know theyre affiliated with Ford and have to talk about how great the cars are and having had mine for almost a decade I know how expensive and burdensome repairs can actually be but its not their fault. I was surprised to see staff not wearing masks at times but do appreciate them wearing them to move cars and such. While I was standing in the store one staff member coughed and sneezed multiple times without wearing a mask and rubbed their nose while answering phones and things...which is exactly how COVID-19 spreads. Wish Quick Lane paid employees to stay home if theyre not feeling well and this location took the pandemic more seriously but am otherwise happy with the service.

If youre considering a different place for service, I seriously think you should think again. Over the weekend I hit an object in the road and immediately my tire pressure low light popped on, then...splat..tire flat! Ugh!!! A kind stranger put on my spare, allowing me to avoid the long wait from roadside assistance. This morning, I called Quick Lane, and spoke with manager Jamie R., whom was warm, kind, and informative. However, the cost of replacement was $300 and they couldnt do the work till after 3pm because, like a normal Monday, they were swamped. Meanwhile I called a few reputable tire companies in town only to be told all four tires would need replacement not just one, exceeding $1,000, even though my mileage was under 35k and tire thread low. I drove to Quick Lane, with my dog, expecting a long wait, only to be greeted by a smiling, professional, and friendly, Jamie R. They really tried to fix it, but, unfortunately it had to be replaced, and a sweet angel named Trevor, did an outstanding job. Trevor even put on my new plates AND license plate holders...all before noon! That, my friends is how people work when they are at the top of their game and really care about their customers. So go no further...go here. No regrets!!!πŸ¦‹

Sadly, I have updated my review from 5 stars to 1. This has been a process. I have spoken with 3 managers in regards to this, so consider that before you write me off as a man Karen :) my original review is at the bottom, from years ago. Here we go:Over the last year, I have watched the front desk make up wait times according to how they feel. I think part of it has to do with how you look. Fortunately I look good and got in quick lol!! Kidding. One person would come in and was quoted 45 mins for an oil change. Next guy, 15 minutes later: 1.5-2 hours for an oil change. Once I was told 3 hours for an oil change, transmission flush, and other services adding up to around $600. I said OK, I have nowhere else to be. Go ahead. The ladys body language indicated dread. Fine, next time another shop would be happy to do this.Fast forward, I have been asking for alignment for months. I am always told no in a less than courteous manner, ranging from I dont have anyone to do it so youre not getting one today, to the most recent why do you need alignment, you just did it 11, well, 12 months ago? Geez, I dont know, what do you think? Ford did try to give me a free alignment when I gave them 3 stars on a survey, but I dont want it.I I cannot be bought. Finally, last week, I showed up around 3:15 pm. Keep in mind, they close at 5. Parking lot was fairly empty, and 2 bays in the shop open. Jackpot!! I will be in and out quickly, right? Nope. I wanted a simple oil change and tire rotation, nothing more. When I walked in, the gentleman at the counter was speaking very condescending to an elderly lady asking very valid questions about the mechanical state of her car. He went as far as cutting her off mid sentence, demanding she have a seat and he will call her if he has questions. Ouch. I asked for an oil change. He rolled his eyes, smirked, and said he had all of the work he was taking for the day, with 1:35 remaining in the day and 2 bays open. Told me I could come back tomorrow. I politely, but sternly said I wont come back tomorrow. Or ever. Im done with the senseless excuses. I walked out. That is the last time I will ever come back. I took time out of my work day and drove over an hour to get there. Oh well, that will teach me to be loyal! On my last service, I was passively insulted for buying tires elsewhere and told they were sub par. OK. I can take insults from a guy who feels inadequate. Guess what? Quick Lane said they didnt have time last year to put my tires on!! So, I went elsewhere. Same tire, same size and ply, $200 cheaper.Noteworthy: I asked them to do a coolant flush on my wifes Hyundai once, along with oil change and tire rotation. I had the car back in about 25 minutes. I challenged them on that, said there was no way you inspected everything, changed oil, tire rotation, and a coolant flush. Absolutely thinking I got ripped off. The car was too new to tell if the fluid had been swapped so I hope I got what I paid for.Sadly, since they are affiliated with Ford, I likely wont be shopping for a truck at Vancouver Ford when the time comes. Time may heal all wounds. My truck has been serviced by Ford/Quick Lane ever since I bought it brand new.If you can get services here, they have always done great. Not sure now, as a couple of mechanics told me they couldnt keep help. So, be aware of that.Original review:Always courteous and professional. I get all of my services done here. BEST TIRE PRICES IN THE COUNTY! I have only had one inconsistency to speak of, and that is on my brakes. One mechanic says Im low on brake lining, and then 5,000 miles later another mechanic says I am good. Not enough to turn me away, I would install brakes myself anyways since I am out of warranty on my truck. Recommended!

Went in for an oil change. I went early in the morning to try to beat the crowd, and the place was empty. They estimated the work would take 45 minutes to an hour. The waiting area is very comfortable and has coffee, popcorn, and wifi. I ended up only having to wait about 30 minutes. The price was about what youd expect for an oil change. They also rotated the tires and performed a standard multi point inspection, which did not rack up the cost.I checked my oil levels when I got home (due to a few reviews here saying that the oil was old or not filled at all) and found it to be full of what appears to be new clean oil.The service was fast and friendly, and the work seems to be solid (based on my admittedly small knowledge of car maintenance).I will be coming back for future service.

Pricey but the cost of service is worth it because of the peace of mind from their quality of work. Never have to bring back my vehicles for the same thing twice. They always get the job done right, unlike Firestone.I also like the complementary car wash on-site after each service. The only thing I dont like are their rebates, which require a bunch of hoops to redeem online and then never show up in the mail.

Usually go to the actual dealer service department for maintenance, but they were backed up a couple weeks and suggested since it was just an oil change I take it to their Quick Lane. Sounded easy enough, I took it in for an oil change and tire rotation. I got the car back and they explained that they rotated the tires, set all the tire pressures to 35psi and changed the oil.I got it home and noticed the tires were never rotated, so I checked the pressures and they were not set either. I called them and they said to bring it in the next morning and they would rotate the tires. I go to get in the truck the next morning and theres a puddle of oil on the ground in my driveway.Thats the last time I take my truck here.

They charged us to fill up the DEF fluid in our diesel even though we literally filled it right before we dropped off the vehicle. After explaining to the mechanics that we had done it ourselves, they refunded the money. But it still makes you wonder what they actually do and don’t do since its apparent that they just tack on charges without actually doing the work.

With my car out of warranty, I go here for The Works. Oil gets changed, tires rotated, all fluids checked. I get a report card showing what is OK & what needs doing now or in the near future. Ive been going here since moving to Vancouver 8 years ago & am still happy with their services. Quicklane is affiliated with the local car dealerships, but Ive never been given the old hard sell or been lied to about my cars servicing needs. I gave 4 stars because they dont take appointments. You must come in & wait your turn, & that can take some time. There is a free shuttle that will swing by if I want to kill some time at Vancouver Mall.

My husband and I took our Honda Accord in to get a free oil change (it was free because the last time we took our car in for the oil change and advertised tire rotation and car wash, they didnt do the tire rotation or car wash). When they called us to let us know about the inspection on our car, they told us that we needed new breaks, front and back (they said the last time that the breaks looked great, now we know that they hadnt even checked the breaks the last time because they had also failed to do the tire rotation). They also said that we had a bad cell in the battery and needed a new battery (we took the battery to another place and had it tested and they said that our battery was good still). They told us that we needed a new air filter so we did have that replaced because that is believable. When we took the car in we did have them do an alignment which did need to be done. When we got back to Quick Lane to pick up our car and pay our bill, the bill was pretty high. We had them go over it with us and that is when we saw that they charged us for the air filter AND for LABOR to put the air filter in. The labor was 3xs as much as the filter and they also charged us a fee to throw away the filter. We ended up paying as much as it would have cost to get the oil change in the first place (which was supposed to be free due to their failure to do what they were advertising).

Quality: Average. Friendliness: Above Average. Timeliness: Below Average. I took my 2015 F350 Platinum for its first oil change. Front desk guy is very friendly. They gave me a first time discount - with was great. I waited 1.5 hours for an oil change/tire rotation at Quick Lane. Not so quick. But since it was Ford Dealer quality, I settled for the slowness. In a hurry, I jumped in the truck and went home - without checking it over. Got home & found oil footprints on the floor mats (despite their paper protector), oily handprints all over the drivers door, all over the grill. Obviously not wearing gloves & being careful. Then, I wondered what the service was like... So I popped the hood, checked the oil. It was still black. Ive changed oil on my 2003 F350 7.3L myself for 5 years until I bought a new truck. Its always dark brown - not black - after the change. Under the truck, it looked like an oil filter bomb went off. There was oil everywhere. Down the frame rails; on trans lines; & back three feet. I surmise that the mech was in a hurry, plugged it back up before it was done draining. Dark brown after an oil change - ok. Black - not ok. Called & complained. They said theyd wash my truck for me & there was no way that the oil wasnt changed. I declined the wash because last time they gave it a free wash, the truck came out covered in water spots & wasnt even clean. Sorry, but I expect Ford to treat a $60k truck like I would. At least wipe off your mess. The black oil thing - Ill find out next time when I do it myself. 13-15 quarts of new oil + maybe 2 quarts of residual shouldnt be black. Ive changed diesel truck oil at least 10 times so I wont be duped about what it should look like. I initially thought Id start taking all my cars there because they were reasonably priced & friendly. But nice doesnt make up for lack of quality care on a critical daily investment. I wont be back. Maybe I just got the wrong mechanic working on my truck there.

Whats more important speed or trust?I own a 2008 Mustang GT that Ive been taking to QuickLane for over 5 years since 2008 and have had two problems.Once they forgot to tell me about a nail stuck in my rear tire - which they ended up giving me a free oil change to make up for the mistake. On another repair they replaced the timing belt for my wifes VW which broke and ended up damaging the valves, the head, and the timing belt of course. Once we had our car towed back I was really worried what they were going to do. Aaron the shop manager had our car completely repaired, the timing belt including all the damage caused to the head and valves when the first one failed.I will continue to go to Quick Lane even if some of the people here are complaining about their repair costs.
