Great atmosphere, great coffee, and friendly service! Lots of places to sit including cozy tables and a higher flat surface on which one could read or do work. I came here to discuss a project with a colleague who had been here many times. This was my first visit. My americano was very smooth - not too strong and not too weak. I will definitely be back!

The coffee has great flavor. I ordered a Vanilla latte and it wasn’t very sweet and mostly just tasted coffee and milk. It would be cool if they had a house made syrup.

One of my favorite spots ever. Personable baristas and coffee that is second to none. The environment is really what keeps me coming back though, it is a good mix of work and casual conversation that makes for a friendly and inviting experience overall.

Good environment to meet up with friends or family.I really enjoy the consistent hours of the Vancouver location. Im an early bird, and with the early morning hours, I am able to get a little work done on the weekends.

Excellent in coffee quality and place to hangout. However, my most important quotient to any place I go is the quality of human interaction: the owners of this place rate a 1 out of 10 in terms of Emotional IQ. So this is a non-starter for me going to this place.

If you want a place to sit and chat, this is a lovely coffee shop. The staff is friendly and outgoing. The polished wood countertops and open layout make for a relaxing a quiet atmosphere, even when it is busy. However, they have a very limited selection of drinks and flavors. Furthermore, the taste of their house coffee was so mild that it was almost tasteless. I havent tried their other drinks.

I am so glad they opened a Vancouver Albina Press. We like the Portland one but it is sooo great to have one close by. The service is wonderful and the food/drinks are perfect!

The atmosphere is nice and good for bringing your laptop and chilling. The coffee is okay. The ham and cheese croissant I had was nice and tasty. Ill go there again to get away. Its seems like a good place to chill.

Had a large almond latte here, it was delicious. I really, really like what they did with the interior! Great place to hang out - lots of outlets, too, if you want to plug anything in.

I absolutely love this coffee shop. The staff are extremely laid back and nice. The coffee is not everyones style since it is a stylized coffee, buy I enjoy the bitterness. If you have a chance try the baked goods they are amazing as well. The aesthetic interior is very appealing and the shop is always clean. The only issue I have is its a bit pricy but they have to keep up with competitors so I dont blame them.

First off, coffee is great, I love that they serve coava. Atmosphere is kind of dull. Not many people here which gives a cold vibe. As more people start coming here Im sure that will change but right now its seems cold vibe wise. Also they could do with playing more modern music like tycho or alt-j or something modern/cool/vibey or even hip hop. The vibe of the shop calls for it but they music is a mix of weird 70s-80s pop contemporary/fusion music. Not exactly the best.

Years ago I used to live a few blocks away from here while going to college, and would stop by on a daily basis as this was by far the best cup of coffee you could find in Vancouver and so convenient. After some experimentation with their menu, it was right here, at River Maiden, that I learned that the Quad 16oz Latte was the elixir of the early AM. The King of the commute. The handwarmer in life below zero. The morning staple. The headache stopper (plus two Advil). The drink that pairs with any and all coffee shop food. I promise you. Some kinda sweet thang maybe? A giant chocolate chip cookie perhaps? Boom! Quad Latte knows wassup. Or maybe some savory option like them ham and cheese croissants? Yeah? Boom! Quad Latte dont play no games. Have no worries Ladies and Gentlemen, the Quad Latte has got you covered. This drink is certainly something you shouldnt be taking lightly and overlooking next time youre looking at the menu. I finished school, moved away, but would pass through on occasion for that super ultra smooth Quad Latte on road trips and stuff, maybe a new t-shirt with the cool Vantucky and The Couve logos on it... Good times it was... A couple weeks ago I was in Vancouver and I gotta tell ya, muscle memory kicked in and next thing you know, Im in the parking lot of the shop. About halfway between my car and that familiar glass front door that I recall seeing in dreams, as Im clicking the door lock button on the key, I suddenly felt it. My raw animal instincts had just been piqued! Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed the first damning piece of evidence. The letters on the sign above the door didnt spell out COFFEE SHOP anymore. I froze mid step with one shoe in a puddle. My buttocks clenched. My jaw dropped about 5/8ths of an inch. My glasses suddenly got fuzzy. Why is my car honking at me!? Oh wait, Im still clicking the buttons. Whew!, talk about intense moments eh? I mutter under my breath; The Albina Press. Huh. Okay. Like the one in Portland? Ummm what to do though? Remember Im still frozen in a puddle with one foot in a now soaked shoe. After relaxing certain muscles in my body and continuing walking to the door, driven forward only by the siren-esque call of Quad Latte, I threw open the door in a manner that meant business and immediately the barista knew it as our eyes met and he understood full well that his skills were about to be tested. Hi. One Quad 16oz Latte please. Thank you. One swipe and pin number later, I have in front of myself the original Quad Latte featuring Coava espresso beans. One sip. Mmmm... Another sip. Hmmm? Another sip. Mmmm... My friends, the Quad Latte is undeniable.The remodel is very nice. Chairs are comfy. Delicious coffee. Cool employees.No more old crew. No more Stumptown. No more cool t-shirts. No more of those cinnamon roll pastries with the white 🍊 glaze on them.Overall 9.6/10
