This is my favorite place to stop for a coffee and quick breakfast. Their breakfast sandwiches are the best and they have delicious cookies and pastries! I love coming here! The drive through has been so convenient during the last months.

The coffee is excellent (get a cortado and a cold brew to split and youre golden) but their breakfast sandwich is HEAVENLY. The fresh sourdough with a touch of chives make me think about this place most morning for breakfasts. Staff is always very pleasant too. Were new to town and this is already our go-to breakfast spot!

We stopped here during our travels for some coffee and quick breakfast and all I can say is WOW! The service was amazing and the gentleman helped us pick some popular items based on our likes. Our food was delivered to our car quickly and he added a free cookie that was the best chocolate chip cookie we’ve ever tasted! The breakfast sando and marigold toast were phenomenal and we had to go back and order more cookies to take home because they were that good! Couldn’t recommend this place any more, it exceeded our expectations! Thanks River Maiden for the awesome experience, we’ll be back if we’re ever in Vancouver again!

Best place for breakfast sandwiches that have some “oomph”! Everything is always fresh and hot, Hash Crowns are crispy, staff are hard working and pleasant. I will forever be a loyal customer here 💙

I was having a really hard time coming to get coffee today and they truly made my day. such kind hearted people. great coffee!

Expensive but the sandwiches tasted good.But each topping is pricey.It was hard to find out anything about this place due to not having a website to find the menu beside some one who took a picture of it and the menu I saw today wasnt the same.Also at this time the lobby is closed so we werent able to go in.I think its best if you order take out via grubhub then going there at this time.

Meh. The coffee is alright but the menu is very limited. I had the bacon cheddar biscuit and was unpleasantly surprised by its sweetness rather than savory flavors. It’s a shame because so few businesses bake for themselves

This place is my favorite in Vancouver WA. When its a coffee time, they have the best Stumptown coffee and mochi doughnuts. Love this place. Personel is super helpful and friendly.

My wife and I both love the breakfast sando. Wonderfully consistent, tasty and fresh ciabatta roll, excellent scrambled eggs with cheddar. I get mine with tomato and ham, my wife gets hers with three little figs sweet onion jam and avocado. You can order and pick up in your car, or walk up and order at the door and theyll bring it out to you. Masks are in use and everything feels virus safe. It takes about ten minutes from walk up order to food which is reasonable. The coffee is good, the mocha a little sweet. So happy theyre in the neighborhood.

Had MUCH better coffee before they moved/covid, now their menu is VERY basic, including their pastries. Paper Tiger is better. Will give these folks one more try as theyre in the middle of a kitchen remodel, and maybe thats why the lack of wow factor. You can do better River Maiden. #whereisthefunk

Meh... was stoked to try the breakfast sandwich, after reading such great reviews. Sad to say, it really wasnt anything special. The customer service was truly awesome though, very friendly and helpful staff.

Delicious coffee. In drive-thru, I’d say about 50% of the time the wait for one drink takes close to or over 5 minutes. I have a hard time with the staff asking for tips. If they got their wait time cut down for drive thru and have the staff refrain from asking for $$ I would increase my visits for sure. The prices are on the higher end but the food and coffee are great!

I have never had a bad experience here. They have great coffee, excellent food options (vegetarian and gluten free options available), and amazing staff that always make you feel welcome. I have even been going and sitting outside during the pandemic in order to support a local business and not get completely stir crazy being inside all the time. They are doing good at the social distancing. If you like breakfast or coffee, you should check them out!

BEST COFFEE SHOP !!!!!I have been going to this coffee shop practically daily for almost 15years... The staff are the sweetest in town and the coffee is made with the highest quality ingredients. The caramel frappe is what brings me back everytime. 😍The owners are very involved and it shows with the appreciation they have for their staff. The treats are delicious and they have some of the most impressive items on their menu as well.Dont think twice, Rivermaiden is the place to go!

I appreciate the attention they displayed for Covid safety. Coffee was good and the vegan breakfast sandwich was very good.

I am in a quandary as to how to rate my first visit at this business. The coffee was excellent, however, with only 3 of us in line and each of us purchased one cup of hand crafted coffee, it still took a full 20 minutes for me to receive my order. I was last in line. Well worth the wait if you have time to waste. Patience is definitely a virtue when stopping here.

A unique atmosphere and great local coffee. Ironically I decided to try the matcha Latte and it did not disappoint!

Great little place. Fresh breakfast sandwiches made to order with a nice list of extra toppings available. The bread for the sandwiches is clearly baked fresh, possibly on site. They use Stumptown coffee and a nice La Marzocco 3 group machine. The menu is simple, short and sweet; everything is done well rather than offering a multitude of average things. There are vegan and gluten-free baked goods including muffins and scones, as well as traditional items. I personally enjoy the monster cookie. They have a pretty generous Square rewards system too. I think this place will be very successful, I see them in a nice, purpose built location in the coming years, probably with more than one location.

The food is so good! The breakfast sandwich on homemade bread/biscuit is delicious as well as the crispy savory hash crowns. The salad is really yummy and fresh ingredients too. Coffee is Stumptown, cant go wrong there. Plus they have a great selection of pastries and baked goods. Great place to do a few hours of work.

This place is cute, with great coffee and a simple, but delicious food menu. I was a little surprised by the seemingly high prices of the food, but after I got my toast, I was impressed by how high the toppings were piled. Tl:Dr, not the cheapest place, but you wont be disappointed.

Christmas Toast was one of the best things Ive ever tasted. Breakfast sandwich was a little smaller than expected but did not disappoint.

First time in. Had made arrangements to have a coffee meeting there and when I walked in I was informed they were closing at 1pm. No signs, nothing on the website. Grabbed coffee and waited for my friend to arrive so we could go elsewhere. I probably wont set up a coffee date here again unfortunately.

Nice environment with lots of space to sit. Sometimes is crowded on the weekend. The coffee and boba are both very good. They taste natural and fresh, you can tell the ingredients are good quality. The customer service is great. They will answer your questions or offer suggestions and the merchandise sold is cute and clever.

Had a hot chocolate and a Klingon Warship aka hazelnut brownie. Both excellent! Staff were very friendly. Music was good and not too loud. Somewhat busy, but not crowded.

My favorite coffee shop in Vancouver. They use Stumptown coffee so all of their drinks are smooth and delicious. The owners are really friendly. The building is nice and spacious.

Great spot to grab a traditional drink on my commute to work. The staff is mostly helpful and friendly, but Kenzie is supreme. She remembers my drink every time and she really embodies the costumer service attitude. She even remembers my step-dogs birthday!

Just moved to the area and looking for independent coffee shops to support—the food here is good and if you want a latte theyre decent. Staff is largely friendly.Dont ask for a cappuccino; they dont know how to make one. No microfoam and extremely wet—a latte by any other name. Stick to the mainstream staples and youll be fine.

Decent coffee and good customer service. The place looks amazing! Love how it was remodeled. Just wish this place had a more intimate setting to have long conversations, the chairs and seating area is a bit uncomfortable.

Excellent flavor on everything. They have worked so hard to get to where they are at and I love the amount of quality and flavor in the pastries and breakfast. If you appreciate quality coffee as it is then you’ll love these guys. They now how to pull good quality shots for sure as well as have that perfect steamed milk

This is a small drive up/thru location, such as food cart trailer. They had a tent covered outdoor seating area during summer. Excellent coffee drinks and cold coffee type beverages. Good neighborhood business which used to be a mile west of current location. Highly suggested in the area. Cant go wrong!

They are not consistent with how they prepare food. Sometimes its good sometimes it is not. They also take forever to prepare your order.

I had heard about River Maiden going back to their downtown days. Finally stopped in. Great coffee, wonderful people, and the tastiest scone Ive ever had!There is a special feeling in this place, and now I understand what the buzz was about. (Maybe buzz isnt the best choice of words for a coffee place, but you get the idea...)For a break from your day, enjoy this place. Or take a cup with you. Its special.

Im needed a cup of coffee and a place to sit for a minute and River Maiden popped up on my search in google. I happened to walk in during their soft open and there new shop is fantastic! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they served me and told me that I could stay and work as long as I needed. A gentleman even came over and asked me about how I like the seating and the comfort in the shop. I looks like it will be great when they are in full swing, and I cant wait to come back and see. Plus the coffee was really good!

Best coffee I ever had. This place definitely became my most favorite! Coffee is always made perfectly and staff is always nice! There is also a play space for kids. My kid loves playing there.

Good stuff but not a coffee shop anymore just drive up. If you want a sit down coffee shop in the vicinity that is excellent try Pines Coffee at Garrison and Mill Plain. Hope River Maiden reopens their shop they are nice people.
