A cute little ice cream and dessert place! Their hand-crafted ice cream was so good! I had the coffee addicts choice, which was amazing! Very friendly service! We will definitely come back for more in the future!!

Really great spot for some inventive ice-cream flavors and perfect for hot summer weather! Staff are really friendly and helpful. Just need to figure out a way to handle to-go orders so that people don’t stand on top of one another and crowd the small space indoors!

The style of ice cream is more of an ice milk consistency. I had they honey vanilla. I didnt really taste any honey notes, and the mouth feel of the ice cream was watery/icy then a small amount of butterfat. I prefer thicker custards with some density, so this wasnt for me, but if you would like some homemade ice cream for a local shop, check it out!

I recently had them cater an event I was putting on. They were very professional, efficient, flexible, and of course the ice cream was delicious. I highly recommend them if youre putting on an event or just want to shop at a local store run by some great people!

The cashier was alone on a Saturday day and it was super busy but she she was so friendly and fast. I would totally recommend this place. It’s super clean and tables are spread out with disinfecting wipes on each table. Daughter and I loved it. 10/10

We havent been here for over a year. They dont have a picture gallery anymore, but the decor looks good. They always have a few new flavors, making it hard to decide what to try. Their honey vanilla is a must, tho.

My dog loves ice cream and his birthday was the perfect excuse to try an ice cream shop even in cold, wet January. The ice cream was great! Dont overlook the honey vanilla. Its so much more than it sounds. It was sweetened just right and delicious. Covid precautions are in place including one way traffic, masks, and contactless order pick ups. Outdoor seating has shelter from the rain and we enjoyed ourselves

Ice Cream Renaissance- she chose a dark chocolate caramel cinnamon milk shake.It was exactly what she was wanting. We did have to wait quite awhile for them to make her shake but she loved that she got to design her own flavor. The icecream was worth the wait for sure.

The service was friendly but unfortunately the Ice Cream itself was not that good. We tried two different flavors and both of them tasted like lightly flavored ice crystals. It was more like a cross between a shaved ice and ice cream.

They have the BEST ice cream in Vancouver by far! There are many flavor options and other desert options. The staff is very friendly. The only thing I dislike is how they’re using plastic bowls to serve costumers in. They should be suing washable bowls like they used too. Or ask costumers if they want it there or to go. But overall a great ice cream shop. Definitely recommend👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

We ordered online to save time and avoid the line but after I waited in line to tell the staff I was here to pick it up I was told that they would have to get everyone elses order completed first before they could start on my order. Whats the point of offering an online system of ordering if there is no advantage. I asked the server how much longer and I got a blank stare. I love your ice cream and would never complain however this is BAD service and poor business practice. Please fix your system so I wont have anything bad to say about your wonderful ice cream.

I have been enjoying ICR for almost 10 years. They make small batch ice cream with local ingredients and it has that delicious old school homemade vibe. If ice cream isnt your thing, they have a dessert case with yummy brownies, cakes, and pies from local bakeries. They also buy their coffee from a Vancouver roaster. This ice cream shop is welcoming, family friendly, and community focused.

We visited on a Friday evening after dinner for a dessert treat. We both had the chocolate love affair.Definitely did not live up to the hype.The shop was clean and looked nice, and the staff were friendly if not very engaged.The ice cream itself was a definite disappointment. It had small lumps of frozen milk or water in it that made for a very unpleasant mouth feel, like grains of partially cooked rice that would then melt.The flavour was also disappointing; as a big dark chocolate fan, I found the actual taste to be pretty weak rather than deep and rich. Just not much actual chocolate flavour, presumably due to whatever cocoa they use; when I make it at home, I use Ghiradellis Majestic, myself, and get a much richer taste.Definitely would not recommend.

Ice Cream Renaissance tastes fresh and homemade. In addition, they have interesting flavors to offer! They change their set every so often. I remember having an Easter malt flavor a year or two ago and that was the best ice cream experience Ive ever had, I dont think Ill forget that. I went here with my sister the other day to get us both Cookie Dough Vinci and it was delectable, notably creamier than their other flavors. Honestly, this is my favorite local place to get ice cream; I like it even better than Portlands famous Salt and Straw.

Good ice cream and they have dairy-free options (usually one or two) which are pretty good. My issue with this place is they are always packed, so service takes a while, and they are a bit expensive (even for downtown). But if you are downtown and in desperate need of something sweet, it definitely works.

This is an upscale chocolate place. Not just tasteful but very well executed. For example, some chocolate cake I had had the bottom base made of solid chocolate, to give the cake some stability. But to avoid making it bland, that base was well mixed with nuts to make it very tasteful.Then, for your mocha, you can choose the chocolate flavor.Lots of small details in the food that really make you appreciate these folks

Great find in Vancouver! Just moved here and noticed them while riding by on my bike exploring the neighborhood. Made it a point to go back and today was the day. I bought 3 different flavors in the pint size. Took a taste of each when I got home and all are splendid. I can tell the ingredients are high quality. There is not an excess of sugar to mask the flavor of the ingredients. The POM (Peach, Orange, Mango) Sorbet is refreshing and the natural fruit ingredients shine through. Ill take high quality over additives and extra sugar any day. This place is fantastic!

Was looking for a last minute place for some ice cream with my wife on our weekend getaway. Found the usual suspects on google at first. Scrolled down a bit and found this place. Read the menu and immediately drive over here. When you enter the atmosphere is very calm and inviting. They provide a very reasonable sample of their flavors. The ice cream is amazing and made in small batches. You can not duplicate this flavor anywhere else. The bowls of ice cream specialties are unforgettable. We will visit here any opportunity that brings us this way. A must visit! Prices for sizes and specialty were so good it surprised us. Worth every penny. They also have a stamp card. Win! Win!

My favorite ice cream place ever. Also: milkshakes, coffee, tea, baked goods, sundaes. They have vegan gluten free options, too! You seriously can’t tell that the vegan ice cream is vegan. It’s all amazing.Some of their ice cream flavors are more on the light/icy side (not too much tho!) I personally love that! Other flavors are more creamy! Like their “bittersweet chocolate” flavor is more icy than their other chocolate flavor. Just ask for samples, find what you like ;). This is a small business that is worth supporting. They also have board games. It’s a great, quiet place to hang out with friends. 🍦🍦💕
