A great board game shop in Vancouver. They have a decent selection and a lot of supplies for war gamers and RPG players. Their board fame selection isnt cutting edge, but theres something for most.

This place is great. Every time I go in everybodys friendly and helpful. They have a nice play area and an excellent selection of games miniatures and role-playing stuff. All around is my favorite game shop in the Vancouver area.

I love going into Dice Age, they have some pretty cool stuff! Theres fun around every corner and their employees are friendly as well as knowledgeable. The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they didnt have a couple of the things I was looking for (they were on order, though. It just didnt help my impulse shopping in the moment)

Huge selection of miniatures, board games, RPG books, and dice sets. I wanted a bit better selection of MTG cards, but even so I was not disappointed. The gal running the front was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would come again and again!

Nice little local shop. Decent spread of a bit of everything. If you are looking for something specific I would recommend calling ahead, but if you are openly looking, Im sure they will have something for you.

Store had awesome selection and service. MTG FNM left a lot to be desired, and not the stores fault. Cliques that were present are not receptive to new players. Got a few games, then everyone fled or basically pushed me away from the table. Maybe if I was not alone it would have been different..

GREAT selection. Lots of stuff you wouldnt find at other game stores in the area. People seem nice. Guardian is my go to for minis but Im coming back here for everything else.

Glad to know there are still old school nerd emporiums like this in the world! Went there in search of sci fi minis and they did not disappoint. Huge selection of every kind of mini imaginable and some obscure stuff too (Wargames Atlantic, for example). Lots of terrain, paint, and rulebooks! Even a few small indie titles (Oathmark, gaslands). Definitely worth a visit 🤘

Second time Ive been here, first time doing more than browsing. Absolutely love the environment and the fact that they have all sorts of gamer options available to patrons, even newbies, was amazing ^_^ even if I only come to Vancouver once or twice a year I can definitely seeing this becoming a necessary stop each time

Very welcoming. They are definitely keeping to the guidelines that were set by the owners. They are definitely a good place to go if you need gaming supplies that dont involve video games or the consoles.Update: so my husband and I just went back on Friday and they have casual Friday night magic. It was so amazing to be able to play Magic the gathering with other people . We are going to go back but we may wait until we have make something that is truly what we like to play. Lol. We only came with premade decks that did not/ could not stand up to other players decks. Thank you dice age for being a fun loving and accepting place.

Great store, great selection. Has probably the best selection of paints around the Vancouver area. They also got a pretty vast array of material to make cool and unique bases. Very well organized too. All the different army boxes all in their own spots on shelfs and labeled making it very easy to find the stuff for whichever army your looking for. Staff super nice and helpful too. Great store recommended to anyone.

The shop is a great place. Before The Covid-19 restrictions, the shop was always full of people painting miniatures, playing a game, participating in an event, or just hanging out. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Dice Age is an LGBT Q+ safe environment and unlike a lot of other gamestop they have a backbone and will tell someone to leave if they are causing issues.

The place to go in Vancouver for all things warhammer. (along with other models) Helpful and knowledgeable staff plus amazing ownership makes for a pleasant experience each trip.

Great place compared to other competitors in the Portland/Vancouver metro area. I have never had a bad experience or been scammed here. Very friendly workers and owners, will definitely come over to play games when COVID is over and will support them with my money until then! :)

Fantastic site!

Great selection of tabletop games and items. However, the customer service was and has been horrible. My wife and I walked into today to buy minis for our D&D campaign. We were greated with a hello. No other offer of help or communication. When we asked a question we were met with short and rude answers. My wife and I dont look the type of people who play MTG or D&D. I bring this up because two other customers walked in after us who clearly look like they play. They were met with a warm greeting and pleasent responses to their questions. Sad cause I used to come here every Friday for FNM. I wont be coming back to this shop for any reason. This isnt the first time I was met with poor service here.

I literally always have a good experience at dice age. From patient and knowledge staff to a wonderful all inclusive atmosphere, going to dice age is the highlight of my day.

The people who work there are friendly and helpful. They have a wide selection of gaming books, dice, and miniatures. And a large open gaming area with lots of table space and they even have a private room that can be rented for a good price.

I super love this store. The staff helped me find exactly what I wanted and were super friendly and fun. The open game tables were all full of gamers and their models fighting glorious battles. The store is well lit and the general atmosphere is friendly and nerdy.

They have a great selection, but honestly the staffs attention severely lacks. Ive been in multiple times, and not once was I greeted. There wasnt even anyone in the front of the store, and no one even acknowledged I was there even after I had been in the store and looking around for well over 10 minutes. There WAS someone there, but he was sitting at a table in the back (on the sales floor, not the office) eating and talking to someone sitting across from him. I ended leaving without making any purchase (I had gone in with the intention to buy a few dice sets as gifts) and made my purchase elsewhere.

Dice Age is a great friendly local game store. They have an awesome selection of TTRPG stuff (Warhammer, X-Wing, Armada, etc), board games, and TCGs (Magic, Pokemon, etc). They also run tournaments and events such as Friday Night Magic, a weekly X-Wing tourney, D&D one-shots, and lots more. Stop by and have a look!

Broad selection of board games, dice sets, accessories, arcane add-ons, miniatures, paint supplies, diorama materials, plus plenty of stuff I didnt identify! A dozen or so tables for folks to play games or to construct and paint miniature figures and armies and dragons.Patrons seemed happily engrossed in their activities of choice. Staff members were attentive and discreet with a casual attitude about tidyness. Prices seemed fair IMHO.

Friendly and knowledgable. Even if you are an expert, try asking their opinions. Ive been turned on to many new products (paint brands specifically) that I might not have tried otherwise. They havent steered me wrong yet!

Prices are high, but they probably have what your looking for or can order it. I would definitely look up what you are going for before you head there for less questions you have to ask them and bring a lot of cash.I wouldnt buy bags here because of selection and prices. Die and figures sure. Was torn between 3 and 4 star. Just didnt want to make it sound horrible, because it wasnt.

Excellent discounts make them competitive with online retailers, the more you buy the deeper the discount!Then there is the huge number of open gaming tables, structured tournament play and a large variety of niche gaming groups. All are welcome, our family has been super impressed! They even have tables set up for painting if you are deep into the hobby.Support your local independent retailer, there are so few left!

I have been coming here for years and the experience is always great. Selection usually beast out most places, including online, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.Certainly recommend it if youre looking for a place to shop, or play!

I really was surprised by the friendliness of the staff and vast supply available. Also really nice gamer environment, it didnt feel like i was treated as an outcast or presenting an elitist vibe, which i have had experience with at other places i have gone to. I will definitely be coming here again, really excited

Great selection, most shops specialize in one thing but these guys have it all. TCG, board games, miniatures, paint and accessories, dice, role-playing books, everything. If these guys dont have it then seriously, just find it on Amazon. The owner and staff are awesome people too, anything you need or any questions you have theyll be glad to help you out. Most unique feature of this store is their open box selection, a bunch of games that are available for you to literally grab off the wall, setup on the table and play to see if you like it. They do events and stuff too, check them out and you wont be disappointed.

Stopped by here when I was on vacation, with the intent to by a game for my aunt and uncle. I am lucky to live in a city that has multiple good game stores. I dont know if he person working was an owner or employee. But he did not say a word when I walked in. Come acknowledge a potential customer! But he was too busy talking to some guys about 40k to even greet me. I looked around for 15 mins and only after I decided I wasnt giving him my business, I headed out. It was then that he gave a tacitly mumbled question if I needed help.Too late bud I was not going to buy anything from this place. Places like this give gamers and game stores a bad name.

I used to go to Friday Night Magic with some friends here. This place is really cool and always has good prices! I have purchased many Magic booster packs here, and they have almost always revealed amazing cards. They have everything from minifigures to individual cards, anything tabletop gaming you can think of, theyve got it.

I dont know exactly what I was expecting but yet somehow was still disappointed. I dont think we were asked if we needed help or were Looking for something in particular even once despite many workers being there and generally just chatting or cleaning up etc. Prices were pretty high too. They did have a bunch of tables so Im guessing you can come here to play your games which I would like to do so as to meet new people with same interests but since no workers ever approached me I dont know if you have to pay for the time slot or space or anything. We were the only patrons there and I guess I see why.

Been going to Dice Age for some time now. By far one of the best shops around for board games and D&D miniatures. Always enjoy going in and hanging out with people. The various deals that they have are worth the time to look into. Not to mention the rewards program that they have.

Its such an awesome place. I consistently go there and it feels like home and family. I can barely tell whos an actual employee and who isnt. Not because the employees are messing around, but because the customers and such help out there so much and are trusted so well.

Love this place. A nice little game store with everything for Magic, Roleplaying games, board/card games, and hobby materials. They have a bunch of tables for gaming and even serve beer and cider. The staff is friendly and helpful and the place is clean and well organized.

The staff and patrons there were really friendly. They helped my 10 year old build a Pokemon deck supplementing her cards with their own. Well definitely be going back.

Been here only a few times checking out their stock and store. I really like the vibes they got going on here. It feels pretty welcoming and vibrant, the staff is friendly, the place is fairly large compared to similar places in the area, and their stock seems pretty expansive. Will be coming back more in the future :)

Dice Age has an open floor, wide assortment of games, minis, and books available. They deal in singles, host events, and most importantly they have AMAZING customer service. We couldn’t find a miniature that fit a character so the man on the floor whipped out the super glue and some spare parts and fixed it up himself.Ill be sure to visit every-time Im in town!

Huge room and selection for tabletop and a decent board game selection. Great rewards program. Picked up a copy of munchkin for the new house and perused the DnD pin board at the back. Neat way to get in touch with local adventurers. Wife and I will definitely be back.

I never feel welcome here! Since when did obese Gamers get so cliquish that when a non-obese gamer tries to play at their store theyre not made to feel not welcome? And that would be the one line I would use to describe this business quote not made to feel welcome end qoute. I didnt even feel welcome from the owner. That might be because Im not willing to shop here because he sells everything at full retail. How are we supposed to keep up with the internet? Heres the reality explained in a nutshell! Lot of play space, decent selection. Went in to get a Fudge book and the owner helped me look for one, even online, for almost a half hour. Although I didnt get my book, I was more than satisfied with my customer service, the selection, and the atmosphere. Now if only they could stock a Fudge book. =]

This is a friendly local game store. If they dont have what you need in atock they can usually order it in a few days or so. Knowledgeable and will help you find other players.

Great selection of everything, from miniatures to D&D supplements. Bought a few star wars tabletop sets here so far, and have gotten lots of tips on how to paint them.

As a mainly Warhammer 40k player, its nice to be able to go to a store and have a wide selection from various factions, as well as plenty of terrain and tables. Combine that with a plethra of paints from vsrious suppliers and modeling tools its spectacular. Ive also gone in and the owner has helped me on more than one occasion with my foam needs.

Clean, well organized, good selection of games etc. They have tournaments, lots tables to play on, and good prices. Good family fun.

The owner of the shop and all his employees are very helpful and if they dont have it in stock, they order it. They are always there to help you find what your looking for and make you feel like your in a homey environment.
